I called back to complain, and the nasty Asian lady says the manager is "rarely" in, and she would take my # and have him call me, moments later I get a a call from a New York are code, which I should post, because he was a VERY RUDE DICK, WHO PRETENDED TO SPEAK POOR ENGLISH UNTIL I DEMANDED A REFUND OF MY $50, THEN MAGICALLY HIS FOREIGN ACCENT WENT AWAY AND HE SPOKE ENGLISH PLAIN AS DAY! If I continue to see all the negative reviews, I WILL give everyone his phone number so you can all call the manager directly to complain.

We love the food. Prices are average for Chinese take out. The only issue we have found is that it seems understaffed and not properly managed. We haven't personally experienced that affecting the quality of service significantly but if you get uncomfortable in places that are unprofessional then be warned. (example: I asked if I could get the tv station changed and the server/manager/cashier/cook(?) dropped the remote on my table and went back into the kitchen and left the remote for me to walk back to the window sill she took it from) In my eyes though the positives outweigh the negatives and my wife and I continue to go back.

I've been a returning customer, and I always enjoy coming to Timmy Wok's for dinner. I've visited the lunch buffet for a quick meal, but I feel that the dinner menu has more delicious options to savor. My friends and I reserved an evening dinner, and we were splendidly taken care of by our attentive waiter. The service was well-planned and personable; the food arrived piping hot, delicious, and stylishly presented. I also love their vegetarian dishes with the snow peas. I would return for either lunch or dinner just for the food. Their service is also very friendly and welcoming.

The food on the buffet was cold. I had a glass of water with my meal and it tasted like it was just dipped out of the chemical pond. Everything I tried on the buffet except the green berms was cold.

Over the past year I have probably ordered from this place at least once a month. I typically order delivery for lunch when working from home and have always been happy with my orders. I typically order the same thing every time, General Tso's. Although it isn't the best General Tso's I've ever had, it ins't bad at all. Recently I placed an order for the usual which I had delivered to me. The delivery took longer than usual as I'm sure the lunch hour traffic played a role, no bid deal. The problem is when I received my meal, I tried the General Tso's chicken and it had an awful taste to it. It almost tasted like the chicken was covered in straight vegetable oil or something. Needless to say, I called the establishment and asked if they would be willing to make it right. They first offered to give me a credit toward a future order; however, I was still hungry and asked that they make it right today. After a little bit of back and forth, they agreed to redo the order. I was very pleased that about 30 minutes later they showed up with a new fresh order of General Tso's and it tasted wonderful. It is very nice to see a place like this make a situation right and keep a loyal customer into the future.

Very bland and typical of what Midwestern people consider spicy. But the chicken feather stabbing me in the gum really sealed this one for me.

Bang for your buck! This place has a pretty good selection for a buffet. I normally try to stay away from buffets for lunch, but didn't know that this place was buffet style before we went in. I was really impressed and the food was good. I highly recommend the walnut shrimp--amazing! They have at least 5-6 different dishes for chicken and some are OK and some are good. They have ice cream for dessert and some pastries as well. Will definitely go back there again!

Definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. I Really liked the fact that you could order through their website and their coupons were easily accessible on there. Their delivery was surprisingly quick we will definitely be ordering more often.

I have ordered from Timmy's Wok multiple times since becoming a Wright State student and I have never been impressed with the food. I've ordered the pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, chicken stick (that is the name on the menu), and the pork dumplings. The fried rice is pretty bland and only contains onions. I hated the orange chicken. It has enormous orange slices. The final straw for me was ordering the fried pork dumplings and having grease squirt out everywhere when I bit into them. They were soggy and basically just pouches of grease. I still get the heebie jeebies thinking about the dumplings. The only positive thing I can say is the delivery time has always been pretty fast.

Walnut shrimp is awesome! I haven't been here and ordered off of the menu, but the Lunch Buffet is terrific. There's a nice variety of dishes including some Americanized favorites as well as more authentic dishes. They also borrow some from Korean and Japanese recipes, which I feel adds to the variety. The atmosphere is great. I love looking at the decorations by the front entrance and I love the way they set up the inner dining area. Very quaint.

I live an hour away and was in the mood for Peking duck, which is hard to find in Dayton so thought I'd give them a try. I called and found id have to order an hour in advance for preparation which worked perfectly. I ordered the whole Peking duck and told them I'd be there to have half the duck for lunch at the restaurant and would like the other half packaged for take out to take with me. When I arrived I ordered a beer for lunch and told her I was there for the half duck for lunch and the other half for takeout. She returns with a plate and a paper bag containing the entire duck and accompaniments. I asked if this is how she was serving it and she says yes because they thought it was all for takeout. When she left me with the plate and bag I just took the bag to the register, paid and left. What horrible customer service. An hour later I arrived home, reheated the duck and was again disappointed. Extremely poor customer service along with bad food won't bring customers back. Don't waste your time with this place

Last friday 10-24-14 I ordered the sesame chicken combination to go and my what a waste of money that was. Firstly, there were only 7 little chunks of chicken in there, 3 of them being mostly batter and 2 other so dry inside and that it was almost impossible to swallow. It seemed as if they reheated some of the dry pieces left from their buffet and called it a day. There were almost no visible sesame seeds on the chicken and it tasted so basic that i could not have told the diference if it had been ketchup chicken. The rice was ok, not bad also not great, but the sesame chicken experience was so bad that i didn't care for anything else. There is a restaurant called T'saos Cuisine, 5 minutes up the same road that ,for an extra 40 cents, gives you a tsumami of chicken in comparison and the flavor is night and day. I also ordered some crab rangoon which was ok, but you can't really mess that up. If you're interested in bad food for a price that does not even come close to be justified then Timmys Wok is your place.

I usually find a chinese food restaurant that I order delivery from, and never set foot inside. That philosophy has worked well for me for many years and through several cities. Timmy's Wok may very well be gorgeous inside. I have no idea, and probably never will. What I DO know, is that they deliver to Beavercreek quickly, accurately (despite the nice lady who answers the phone being difficult to communicate with), and (most importantly, HOT AND YUMMY! I always get the same thing, Chicken Lo Mein with fried rice and egg rolls. *shrug* It's what i do. Timmy's Wok has never let me down!

I used to go here all the time when I lived next to Wright State. The owner was always very friendly and accommodating. The food is ready fast and is hot. While it may not be "sweet baby jesus, this is making love to my taste buds," it is very good and consistent. It's definitely better than some of the places I've tried here in my new town. I miss it. Definitely give this place a try!!

Good food for a low price. I tried the schezuan chicken combo with fried rice. Rice could be better but still it was a decent meal at a good value. Nice staff as well!

I just found this place looking for someplace healthy for dinner while away from home for work. They have a selection on healthy steamed veggies and meat/seafood. I ordered the chicken, shrimp, and scallops and it was perfect. No oils, MSG, or sauces (you can get the sauce on the side though). Service was fast. Only thing missing was they didn't offer brown rice, but I really didn't need the rice anyway. It sounded like they deliver and do take out and were pretty busy taking delivery orders. Glad I found a place that served food similar to how I cook at home so don't kill my diet on work travel.

I've been to Timmy's several times. I always get great service and they have some good vegetarian options that most other restaurants don't. My biggest complaint is that they were out of veggie potstickers which I was really looking forward too....like too much. It almost felt like christmas was cancelled. That aside,i'd definatley suggest trying Timmy's if your in the fairborn area.

Awesome. Outstanding steamed dumplings AND excellent sweet and spicy Gen Tsao's chicken. This is the place to order from

When we first moved into our house we had a delivery menu from Timmy's Wok on our mail box, so our first few Chinese deliveries were from them, but no more. We've moved on to better places(pretty much anywhere else). The food is pretty bland and everything more or less tastes the same. There are menu items that are labeled spicy, but they are as bland as everything else, even when I ask them to make sure it's spicy. Sure I can halfway salvage bad Chinese food with sriracha sauce, but I'd prefer to get decent food to start with. There are tons of Chinese places in the area, and most are better.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
