If Cheers was filmed in a pizza joint, it would have been Shorty's. The food is excellent. Everything from the ChiliMac to pizza and subs to nachos are served piping hot and at the height of deliciousness. The place is a harness-racing bar -- and they make no bones about it. You can watch any other sports on the TVs but the flatt-screen behind the bar is reserved for harness racing. And with Delaware being the home of the Little Brown Jug -- there are a lot of folks interested in this type of establishment. Only con would be that wait staff can be a bit abrupt, but once you visit a few times becomes part of the charm.

Best stromboli in delco hands down! The checkout process needs work. You prepay for your food and makes ordering additional beers kind of a pain. Friendly staff and clean.

Great thin crust pizza & highly recommend the pepperoni. Sauce is slightly sweet and tasty. Small but nice place with a bar to sit at. One of the best pizza joints in Delaware.

The pizza had a good flavor, medium crust, fair amount of cheese and toppings. Pepperoni had a kick to it. It was about $16+ for a one topping. The chicken alfredo was awful. The sauce was watery and flavorless. The salad that came out before it had huge chunks of iceberg that were not even broken apart. Ten bucks wasted. Service was abrupt, no charm there. Had to keep going back to the cashier/bar and wait to be noticed for more silverware, plates, etc. Not sure if I will ever go back to try a sub. Their sign "voted best italian" is a joke. They don't know squat about pasta, for sure, and where is the competition? Meh.

Horrible customer service abilities. Wrong pricing online. And when you ask about the price difference they just get defensive and scream at you. Would never recommend this business.

Much better service tonight! A more "experienced" gentleman behind the bar who is attentive and has a good sense of humor. And, the Stromboli was very good!

This is my top pizza joint in Delaware of the three that are even worth considering. Pizza is top notch. The pepperoni they use is the best I have had on or off a pizza. The calzones are outstanding and their subs are as good as they come. Staff is always super friendly to me and my 5 and 7 year old kids. The kid part is an automatic +1 in my book. Fairly small spot but that is half the charm. Ideally for a group of 2 or 4 you can get 6 but it would be crowded. By the way address is right marker on map is pretty far off.

I would not recommend eating anything here unless it is pizza. I've tried their cheeseburger before and drank a whole 32oz gatorade trying to get the dried beef patty down my throat. The flavor was similar to cardboard and the fries were soggy and salt free as well.

Initially thought it was a bar...but it's really not. Pizza is good...if you like thin crust.
