Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Every time I eat here is wonderful. The food is fresh and always hot. I've tried many different dinners but my favs are sesame chicken Hunan chicken and fried rice. Really great. Only down side is that the don't deliver. I would eat there more often if the would. Prices are great too

Wow! Great Chinese in D'town. Who knew! In a plain ol Kroger strip mall, they have carved out a spot for semi-traditional Chinese food. Sure I can't seem to get fish heads, shark fin ramen and other Chinese treats.....but I can get AmeroChinese dinners made by great Chinese cooks! I guess that is good for now.

Food is pretty good. It's hot & seems fresh. I'm used to Hunan House in Columbus and this is lesser quality. Chicken & beef seems fatty at times.

Food is always hot and fresh. Everything I've had has been very good with exception of MuShoo but I chart that up to regional differences as their style is nothing like what I got in Mt. Vernon. Excellent hot & sour soup and pepper steak. Would have been 5 stars if they delivered.

The only place where I know more than one person to get chicken wire embedded their chicken (myself included) which is about enough to make you never wish to eat at a place again. The food was only just mediocre before this - lacking in flavor, pretty bland, about what you would expect from a low-priced carryout place. Out of the Chinese Restaurants in Delaware this one is squarely at the bottom.

After trying quite a few chinese places around delaware and columbus, we were surprised to find out this place had great food. The wonton soup, hot & sour soup, general tso's chicken, & the beef & broccoli were all excellent. The crab rangoons could have used more filling. It would be nice if they delivered. Definitely glad we found it.

We recently moved to the area and just happen to see this place. Ordered Sweet and Sour chicken and Wor Su Gai. Pieces of chicken were deep fried tempura for both dishes. Sauces were pre-made and kept in pots. Typical sweet and sour sauce. How ever the "gravy" for the Wor Su Gai was horrible. Thick and cloudy with an over abundant taste of something I couldn't figure out. Wor Su Gai normally come with sliced chicken breast on a bed of lettuce with peanuts and a corn starch based translucent gravy. This dish was horrible. In fact made me sick to my stomach all night. The restaurant was decently clean not spotless. The employees were not inviting or friendly.

Really the best chinese food in Delaware. Must try their szechuan chicken or orange chicken. So yummy for a great quick meal.

Nothing special. I MIGHT move them up a star if they delivered.

Great food, fast service. Never had a bad meal there before.

Seemed rude but I think it was more because of the language barrier. Came in to place a to-go order of chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice. It was ready almost immediately and it was delicious! Like many Chinese places they had unappetizing pictures hanging on the wall so I was a little concerned but it turned out to be great. Food was excellent and there was lots of it. They have a very large menu so I anticipate heading back to try another item. If they had delivery it would be amazing.

I have one comment. 10 MINUTE! LOL. They used to have better food when they first opened but it is still average and affordable. Best part is it always takes 10 minutes! Haha

I have always had good experiences at Shanghai, with the exception of their hours. Some nights they are still open at 10, other nights no one will answer the phone after 8. Either way, they will tell you your food is ready in 10 minutes no matter what you order, but it's always hot and fresh!
