Really? Take your 2 star "reviews" and go elsewhere. You shouldn't target a specific location and complain about the entire chain of these Olive Garden restaurants. My boyfriend took me out here a few days ago. I'm half Vietnamese, and I usually don't eat Italian food. (Or anything like Italian food.) I am a HUGE fan of the Seafood Brodetto here. I don't order anything else. However, the reason I chose to create this review is due to the wonderful waiter I had. Michael? I think. He was one of the most attentive waiters I've ever had, and I really appreciated that. Thank you for adding to the ambiance of our night! And if you figure out that roscato mixture, I hope you let us know! ;D Btw, that new roscato cocktail is fantastic.

Typical Olive Garden with typical Olive Garden food. They are starting to branch out from pastas and other heavy Italian dishes with a lighter fare menu which I enjoyed quite a bit. They have an extensive wine selection which is also a plus and you can't go wrong with unlimited salad, soup and breadsticks! A safe, unadventurous bet.

Great Waitress, I normally don't care for Olive Garden, but took the kids, they enjoyed their food, honest the stuffed chicken marsala I had wasn't GREAT, wasn't worth the price. Only thing great was the service.

This is your typical Olive Garden. Today the food that we had was a little over done and our service was below par. For instance we requested breadsticks and they were brought to us in a bag when we were ready to leave. We had wanted them with our meal.

I wish I would have taken my family( the 6 of us) to spaghetti warehouse instead of Olive Garden our server was slow and very forgetful we sat for almost 20 minutes before she took our drink order and once she took our drink order it was another 15 minutes to get it and all we ordered was soda no mixed drinks and on top of that she couldn't remember to bring my drink refill even when she offered to do so the food was nothing impressive even after waiting 50 minutes for it to arrive I really feel it's a kick in the teeth after receiving horrible service to bring a bill that suggests that we should tip our server 25 bucks for service I could have gotten at McDonald's We won't be back

The service is good, the venue is clean and attractive, and the food's not half bad. I guess my biggest problem with these places is that I don't quite get where they come off calling this stuff Italian. Maybe I grew up with too many red sauce Italian type places or it's the fact that I've been to Italy twice and have never had anything like the food at Olive Garden. Just something about this place rubs me the wrong way. Additionally, I feel like there are a hundred mom-and-pops with lower prices and better Italian. Bottom line, the salad and bread sticks are great but six and a half bucks for a drink seems to be too much for the canned atmosphere you get at Olive Garden.

Olive Garden is a hard place to give more than three stars after years in Boston and New York because I know it certainly isn't gourmet or pedigreed Italian food, but it was still pretty darn good! A wonderful waitress, quick service and great bread to go with the garlic chicken and seafood alfredo we ordered. Even the manager came up to our table and asked us if everything was okay and if she could get us anything. Very impressive but it still gets only three stars from me.

This is my first review for an out-of-state restaurant, that being said I love Olive Garden! Whenever I am on the mainland I always try to hit up an Olive Garden, since there is a lack of one here in Hawaii. This Olive Garden was pretty up to par with the others I have been to. Of course as with every other Olive Garden there is the staple Tuscan look and feel of the exterior and interior. As far as atmosphere goes, if you've been to one; you've been to them all. As for service, it was top-notch. Our waitress was very consistent with refilling our drinks, breadsticks and salads. She also frequently- but not the annoying kind of frequently- checked up on us. I have to give props to the appetizer of the decade; the Lasagna Fritta. Its basically fried lasagna, like a mozzarella stick, but with lasagna.... you get the point. There was only one negative I will say and that was the fact that they ran out of Lasagna. How does an Italian restaurant run out of lasagna? I don't know, but they did. So in place of lasagna on our Tour of Italy meal our waitress suggested the cheese ravioli which, was pretty good. All in all Great for an Olive Garden. One of the better ones I have been too. When I am back in Dayton, Ohio you can bet I'll be back to this one.

Portions are small and over-priced. Go to Mama DiSalvo's or Spaghetti Warehouse if you want real italian. This is as americanized as it gets.

I rarely give 5 star reviews and especially for a chain restaurant, but this was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. We went last Sat., July 13th, for a late lunch. My husband and I both ordered the 2 for $25.00 garlic chicken specials. The food was very good, but that isn't what made for such a nice lunch. The manager stopped at our table at least three times to make sure everything was alright. He was so nice and attentive. Our server, Monica, was excellent! She anticipated our needs and was just right with her service and attention. The management is doing something right in the training of their staff there and it really shows. It is so refreshing to not see everyone on their cell phones or gossiping and actually doing their jobs and doing them well. That's the type of restaurant you want to return to and see do really well. Thank you for such a pleasant visit! I am in a wheelchair, and am not always made to feel as welcomed and comfortable as I was there.

While I can give Olive Garden a very good rating for their interpritation of Italian style foods, growing up with my dads side being Italian and getting a true taste of Italy, it is easy to compare which is really better. Some areas fall short in (and in my opinion), trendy things that sale rather then authenticity. I really don't understand why too many places do not serve a true Italian Pizza. [hint - they don't use a pasta pizza sauce] My wife has recreated their Zuppa Tuscana to perfection, and we definitely can make any of the other pasta dishes at home. Keep trying though Olive Garden

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
