    Absolutely fantastic all around! The service was wonderful, our waiter, Scott, apologized many times for the wait and the manager even came over, even though they were fast with our food! The food was delicious and the drinks even better. I definitely recommend this place. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfy. :)

    I have given them a couple of chances, it seems they keep getting worse. Their waiters are horrible and incompetent. I used to love O'Charley's in my hometown of Richmond, VA. I hate snotty little waitresses, and being seated next to the loudest group of women when the restaurant is empty. I will never return because of this experience. Sorry Charley!

    We showed up at their busiest time. We were greeted politely and told it would be a 10 minute wait. Spot on, 10 minutes it was. We were sat and our server (Clarisse D.) (who was amazing) immediately showed up to take our drink and appetizer order. We had the pickles (very delicious). We both ordered prime rib and it was cooked to our liking and tasted great. The clam chowder was good as well. Oh, I almost forgot about the bacon mashed potatoes (phenomenal)!! Really impressed with the service!

    Use to absolutely love this place, nice remodel but food was extremely greasy, first set of rolls hard waited sometime for server to bring silverware . heard several other complaints from other tables

    After eating here weekly for years I am sad to announce the current management has tanked the service. I will have to find a new location to get my Louisiana Sirloin. On my last several visits to this location I have found the food, wait staff and management to be sub standard. I would go into details but there are many. Just eat there and you will find out for yourself. After complaining to the manager about a waitress that could not be found after dropping off the food he then disappeared for 25 minutes. This was the first time I thought about walking out on a bill because they simply would not bring me one. I hate to write this place off after years of good service but that is no longer the norm. I did not get new managers name but could identify him by his tattoos and over friendly demeanor with the female staff. They should of spent the new remodeling money on upgrading their staff. Jmo

    I've been to O'Charley's three times now and I still don't love it, but I also don't hate it. I found their food to be very boring or at least nothing peaks my interest. With other chains there is typically at least one thing that will always keep me coming back, but I still haven't found it here. The food has been good every time I've been their and the service has been good as well. I had a Grapefruit Margarita one time that was awesome. I will say I do enjoy the rolls here and love that they always come out fresh and hot. If you want something different then the other restaurants in the area then this is a good place to try.

    Service ok once it started. Got the new bayou shrimp pasta. Greasy mess with ZERO flavor. Badly cooked pasta no flavor. Not sure what it is supposed to taste like but I think they missed the mark. Very disappointed in the food. Upside once I got service it was good. Just say for what in would think was to long before I got greeted.

    I'll preface this by saying, I'm never a huge fan of O'charleys.. The food just doesn't do it for me and the service is never anything to write home about.. We did a late brunch here this weekend with about 10 people. The food was ok, everyone else seemed to enjoy it as well. The service, as always at any O'Charley's, was just ok; somewhat slow and lethargic. It was the makings of a nice day outside, but they had the heat pumping in there.. I was almost sweating within a few minutes.. It is priced affordable, which makes it tolerable... but still not my favorite place. -C-

    Our first visit was very good so we went back. On our second visit the Twisted Chips appetizer came out very overcooked. When the meals came the sweet potatoes were also badly overcooked as was the chicken in our Mediterranean Chick Wrap. The meal and service were so dreadful the we received a $20.00 gift certificate and was told to ask for the kitchen manager We gave them a second chance. We were sat next to the POS system in a very noisy area. The service was better, the food was not and the kitchen manager must have chosen not to talk to us. In fact, no manager was seen on our last two visits, unlike our first visit when there was a manager checking with all tables. There are a lot of restaurants in the area. We will not return to this one

    (Date of Visit: 24 Jul 10) - Our group pulled into Dayton late in the evening after 10 hours on the road from Northern Virginia. We were tired, hungry and really did not want to put up with a whole lot of nonsense getting our grub and a couple of drinks. We looked around and chose this place mainly because it was close to our motel room and it didn't look crowded. When we walked in I saw that it was less than an hour to closing time - first red flag. Second flag came when we had to call out to someone (the hostess, maybe?) to come over and show us to a booth. The third red flag came when I looked this place up on Yelp and saw Chelsee's lone 1-star review. But by then, we had already ordered our drinks and nobody felt like getting back into the car to search for another place. I braced myself for what I hoped would be our last ordeal before we could finally get a shower and some sleep. But thankfully our waiter Brandon sensed how we were feeling and went out of his way to get us some kick-ass margaritas (special of the day) and some really good chow quickly and with a sense of humor. Even though he met our needs quickly - and there were a few - we never got the impression of being rushed or hurried. We were all very pleased and grateful for his thoughtfulness.

    Went to my favorite place on a Thursday evening to have the famous special Chicken Harvest soup. To my surprise the soup was over cooked but still being served after speaking to manager he knowly knew about the soup how bad it was and kept serving it. The soup should had been fresh regardless of the hour and if they werent willing to make more they should just say they are out and not feed people something that tastes that bad. Second ordered the new entree called Chicken Italia and it was horrible not sure how long it will stay on the menu as a NEW entree but it was gross. The manager was taking us serious about how bad the food was until the rest of my party informed and showed him how burnt the chicken tenders were. The serve was slow and we waited over 10minutes just to get our orders taken. Mind you the resturant was not full and almost empty. I love O'Charleys but i am VERY HURT and DISAPPOINTED with them tonight. This location needs trained all over again and give them the understanding that when food it not at its best you DONT SERVE IT! After finishing our meals. I asked to speak to the manager and have a calm conversation about what went wrong tonight with our food and staff. He listened to me opened minded and seem to really care. He threw the soup out and he comped my meal and gave us a $10 coupon. Now i didnt have this talk with him to get a discount or recieve anything. I just thought he needed to know. If you dont say anything they wont know what to fix. Over all we will be going back and i look forward to enjoying my meal as i have in the past. Thank you for listening O'Charley. This was in October 2011. Please read my next review as this was wasnt posted last time. New review awaits Jan 3,2012 We are back again and this time i would give the place 4 stars. I am not sure if they changed management or got new staff but the food was hot,fresh and had flavor. Service was great and resturant was clean. Seen lots of team work and enjoyed my evening. O'charleys you have been redeemed in my eyes. Thank you!
