    Flemings is a nice steak house with good food and decent service. This place would receive four stars, but loses a star because they forgot to put in my order. This would not be a huge deal except the following: 1. I am nine months pregnant, and you don't forget my food and then make me watch my husband eat. 2. I never received an explanation of why this happened. 3. No one ever apologized for forgetting. This makes me sad, because the food was good, and other then forgetting my order the service was too. I hope to go back and give Fleming's another chance, because I think they can do better.

    After sometime, I revisited Flemings. Definitely a better experience than my previous visit. As usual, service was great and the waiter friendly and attentive. Since I don't eat red meat, I stuck with the salmon. It was prepared much, much better than last time, was very good. Even the little bit of mushrooms that come with it was superior to my last visit. My friend got a petite filet mignon, which she said was very good. We each got the wedge salad and it was good as well. Made with iceburg lettuce, a few sliced cherry tomatoes, onions, dressing and a generous amount of blue cheese. Two wedge lettuce salads, two coffees, one salmon and one petite filet mignon was $95.00. I still can't get around the cost though, although I did see they offer smaller serving sizes which offers lower cost meals. I travel a lot and don't mind paying a high price for a good meal but Flemings is over-priced, not the same as an expensive restaurant. I would have given it four stars for the meal and service but due to it being over-priced, I only gave it three.

    I really love this place. I'm a steak and potatoes kind of girl but I'm hard to please when it comes to steak temperature, etc. My husband and I save Fleming's for special occasions and our food has been perfect every time. OK, once I got crazy and ordered chicken and that wasn't so good, but that was a bad move on my part. We've tried others - St. Elmo's in Indy and several upscale places in Columbus and Cincy - this place beats them all. If you're a first timer, take the hint and try the "Fleming's potatoes" and "Fleming's salad" - they're so named for a reason. Overall - can't compliment it highly enough and there are fantastic specials in the bar until 7 p.m.

    Giving it a second chance worked out. Our server Aaron was fantastic. He greeted us with their bread and special cheese/dips/butters. Salads came out quick and just as we ordered them! Entrees soon follow, again, I can't say it enough about the temperature of the steak. Almost, (not quite) but almost too hot to eat. Sizzles on your plate and in your mouth. Yum! Bone in Ribeye. Had the green beans side, very tasty. Blueberry Cheesecake for desert, loved it. Great time. All together, arrived 830pm on a Saturday and was out by 930. I'll be back, but only on special occasions.

    I recently went for restaurant week and I have to say this was the best steak in Dayton. The only place better you can go is Carlo and Johnny's which is a steakhouse in Cincinnati. For $30 during restaurant week you get a steak, salad, mashed potatoes, and a peach cobbler dessert. Try Flemming's out if you have not yet you will not be disappointed!

    I had one of the best steaks of my life here. It was a ribeye with peppercorns on one side with their f-17 on the side. They had a great by the glass wine menu and the sides were good as well. The shrimp app was just ok. Besides the steak, what set this place apart was the service. They were on top of everything without being "hovering". The server was very good and accommodating, suggesting things that could be tweaked (like ordering the ribeye with peppercorns on one side only, or sampling their different sauces) and making the experience very pleasant.

    I've been to the Fleming's in downtown Boston, and was never really a fan. Being that it was restaurant week, I decided to try the Fleming's in Beavercreek at The Greene--I mean, $20.09 for a 3 course meal at a fancy-ish restaurant that includes aged filet mignon? Can't really go tooo wrong, right? Well, the verdict is: the steak at Fleming's Beavercreek kicks the butt of the steak at Fleming's Boston. My medium rare filet was so incredibly juicy, it totally hit the spot. On top of that, our server was very on top of things, always filling our waters and such. One thing that did bother me, though, was when we arrived. We checked in at the front about 5 minutes prior to our 8:30pm reservation for a table of 2 and were told we'd be seated shortly. Okay, no problem. So we wait. A few minutes later, another couple walks in and says they have 8:45pm reservations for a table of 2. They are seated immediately. Say...what?! Seriously? I could almost see the steam beginning to come out of my husband's ears. A little bit after, the hostess says to us, "Oh...what was your name again?" Shortly after, we were seated. That whole thing had us a bit peeved. What's more, the salad and desserts were TINY--probably because it was from the restaurant week menu, but nonetheless something to note. We came for the steak anyway.

    went to flemings because my parents were having an anniversary dinner. We got there around 6pm and there were a few other people seated at the time. It did pick up a bit later. We had some really good sourdough bread with some sort of cheese spread and garlic butter. My dad ate a whole loaf himself. On to the salad. I ordered the Caesar salad because its my usual. One of the stars I'm giving is for the chilled salad fork that I received with the salad. But later on I did feel slighted by not getting a heated fork for my entree. In any case, the salad dressing was good but it was bathing in it. I did really enjoy my filet and the flemings potatoes. A cheesy, jalapeno, stacked bit of goodness. finally i ordered the chocolate lava cake thing. Highly disappointing. It was more spongy than anything. Just not what I expected and I would never get it again. The ice cream part of it was the only thing that saved it from being a total disaster All in all, the service was excellent and the food was good. If I had skipped the salad and desert, I would have given it a 4 or 5. oh and Dayton isn't the most boring city in the world, Seymour Indiana is.

    Great food, good atmosphere for a 4 score. We all enjoyed delicious filets and shared the half 'n half and carrots sides, all perfectly prepared. Caesar salad was good, but lacked leaves from the green end of the romaine head. Manager Amy and waiter Michael's wait staff team was professional and attentive. Michael recommended a by-the-glass red quoted at $14, but charged $16, at the high end of the wine list. These are premium steaks at a premium price. Noisy, but it was a busy Saturday night with lots of energy.

    Maybe the staff suspected that I was a food critic, but I'll take it. Service was outstanding and the manager visited my table several times to insure my meal and experience were nothing short of stellar, and he left his business card. The filet mignon, sides and appetizer were consistent with, if not better, than any other Fleming's I have visited.

    I visited this location on Dec. 1, 2012 great atmosphere but it was kinda of empty for a Saturday night. It does not compare to the nightlife in Charlotte, NC or any other major city but it was nice for dinner. The meal was good. I would come back for the "Happy Hour."

    The wife and ate here for our anniversary and were exacted to try it, we both love steak and this is the only decent place in town we hadn't tried. We're often leery of chains and also that uncomfortable feeling when you're in a place that's overly expensive and makes it feel "stuffy" and not relaxed. I consider myself to be a customer service junkie, even the best meal can be wrecked by poor customer service, Flemming's does it right and better than just about anywhere I've been before. First and foremost, they make you feel welcome and comfortable without hovering or making you feel out of place. We were always addressed by our names, in a friendly sort of way, but it made us feel really well taken care of. All of the food, drinks, etc were brought out in a timely manner without excessive waiting between items. The food was perfectly cooked, I mean it was fantastic! My rib eye was perfectly medium rare and sizzling when it was served, all of the sides and salads where amazing as well. At the end of the meal they gave my wife a box of chocolate truffles and a $25 gift certificate which was a really nice touch! Overall we felt very pampered without the uncomfortable feeling that many eateries at this price point make you feel, it was a great experience! I'm sure we'll be back in the future, this will probably be our go to place for special occasions. In my opinion this is the best steakhouse in Dayton, check them out!

    This review will be based on their "happy hour" even though I have dined in the restaurant many times and have never had anything other than a stellar experience from beginning to end. I honestly won't do a happy hour anywhere else this summer. They serve a skinny Mojito that is to die for...simply fabulous and very refreshing. Hopefully, Moe will wait on you - she is a great bartender, friendly and fun! They offer a unique happy hour menu (a selection of 5 appetizers and 5 drink choices for $6 each). Let me tell you, the appetizers are meals! I have had the shrimp, the burger, and the ahi tuna and all were beyond description. I did not need anything else to eat. So satisfying and worked well with my cocktail. The highlight of the happy hour are the homemade chips they serve. Delicious! I could eat more than one bowl! You may have to ask for them but they are free and worth all the calories and cholesterol (as long as you don't indulge often). I loved meeting the clientele at the bar too. Everyone was friendly and the place seems to attract unique personalities which makes people watching a bonus here. Fun atmosphere, great prices, fabulous cocktails and delicious food....I will be back.

    I was in Dayton (The most boring City in the world) finishing up a project with the client from HELL. The Relationship Manger, Project Manager, Accounting Consultant and Myself the Trading Systems Consultant are all there to take this client live. 4 months of repetitive training and telling these fragile stressed out people that their company won't fold. So, we do it and get them live on a new software platform. Nothing short of a miracle. So we decide to go celebrate and get a nice dinner. Dayton is pretty dead but we do find a Flemings at a strip mall kind of location. We get a couple glasses wine and some nice apps. The sides were pretty damn good. Jalapeno Potato Gratin, Delicious. I got a Rib Eye that was cooked perfectly and was soooo tender and juicy and tasty. One of the best steaks I have ever had. I don't know if I got lucky with this one. I have not been back to a Flemings since, but I will save a little place in my heart for that steak, literally.

    We visited Fleming's for the first time in the Winter of 2008. We arranged reservations that evening, as our party consisted of 8 people. We arrived to find a packed parking lot and had no choice but to use their valet service (or park remotely and walk through the snow--not fun while wearing pumps). Our server was expedient, considering the size of our party. I did, however, have to wait a considerable amount of time for my drink order, as I was the only one in the party to order a bar drink instead of wine. In fact, I had to remind the waiter that I had ordered a bar drink long after my friends received their wine. Since there were no vegetarian entree options, I ordered a la carte side items. The potato dish I chose was delicious, but quite pricey considering it was merely a side item. My friends, on the other hand, were quite impressed with their steak orders. In fact, my husband noted that it was the best steak he's eaten in a very long time. We spent a considerable amount of time at Fleming's that evening--close to two hours. But, the atmosphere was comfortable and our time there was well-spent. Definitely an evening destination; not necessarily a place to grab dinner before a movie.

    Hands down, Dayton's best steakhouse. Service is always impeccable. Steaks cooked to perfection. Fantastic sides. Great desserts. Great wine list (although I bring my own.) Love the ambiance. Do wish they would require at least slacks and a sport coat for men, though. Part of the atmosphere is the patrons around you, and you shouldn't feel like you are dining with people who are dressed more appropriately for a Waffle House. Still, one of my three favs in Dayton.

    Fantastic steak! Great value in my opinion, compared to other high-end steakhouses.. The filet was one of the best I've eaten for a while. And the wine list was very good, with many of the wines served by the glass. Also, we brought our 10 year old daughter, who loves steak, and the children's meal with steak was perfect, and just $15! This will be our new go- to steak house for entertaining or a dinner out.

    I've been to Fleming's twice. Everything inside is very clean and very clean and well decorated. Note, I wasn't there for an occasion that required me to be dressed up so I wore jeans and I noticed that I wasn't the only one. However, there were some people who were really dressed up, so dress up if you like but business casual is ok too. Beyond the décor, the food and wine are some of the best I've ever had. I've only had better steaks at the Golden Steer in Las Vegas. It is because of the Steer and Flemings that I can't bring myself to order a steak at your run of the mill place. I'd suggest the Flemings potatoes as well. In the end I don't think there is a better steak place in the Dayton region. If there is, let me know because I want to check it out.

    Our server was courteous and very knowledgeable concerning the menu. We both got ribeyes, which were decent, but certainly not anywhere near $50 decent. We got the Flemings potatoes, which were awesome, but paid $8 for a simple side dish. I would recommend this place for an extremely important occasion, and only if you are prepared to drop around $200. Great service, good food, not worth the ticket. Go to your butcher get a prime steak, buy your own bottle of wine, and do it at your house for 10% of the cost.

    great seafood appetizers. main course was filet mignon but it was overcooked. I ordered it medium, was done more on the well side. would prefer mine a little more pink.. plenty of side dishes...enough to share with the party. one side can be shared between 2 people. parking is terrible. in the middle of a busy shoppng center and other restaurants. had to park quite a distance from the restaurant. also they ran out of a certain wine that a member of the party ordered. apparetnyl it has happened 2 times before.....maybe they should stock more of it.....

    Best steakhouse I've been to. And I've been to many prime steakhouses. I have tried the porterhouse and the ribeye. They were two of the best steaks I've ever tried. The sides are good also.

    I took my grandparents here for their wedding anniversary and it was one of the best meals I have had in awhile. I got the fillet, my grandpa got the porterhouse and my grandma got the surf and turf. We also enjoyed the flemmings potatoes, asparagus and a bottle of Silver Oak. They did have to take my steak back once as I asked for medium and it came out pretty rare but when the manager returned with it they had cooked it to perfection. The wait staff was fantastic and at the end of dinner the waitress brought out some truffles as a gift to my grandparents. We also had the creme brulee and turtle cake which was amazing. We had a great experience and would go back again.

    I decided to head out for the best steak in Dayton. I had been to the Grubb and Pine Club and both just mediocre in my steak tastings so I thought I would give Fleming's a try. My final bill totaled $98.41 for just me including wine and appetizers which I will go into. I entered the restaurant and walked up to the hostess desk and said one for dinner. With a tone that resembled "we are booked and wish you to go elsewhere" she proceeded to tell me (at 7:30pm) that the house was totally booked and the earliest would be 9:30. Why do they say it in such a way as to push you away? If I didn't want to wait I would tell her no thank you, or if I chose to then what is it any business of hers? Anyway, she proceeded to tell me that I could go to the bar and it was first come first serve seating. I went ahead and asked if she could take my name anyway and she did again with the same attitude. I walked into the bar and low and behold a booth had just cleared so I sat down immediately and nodding to the hostess I was sitting there so she could remove my name from the wait. Now on to dinner.... I began with a glass of wine, looking for a 2007 Cabernet, I chose a Trefethen from California. It was not bad. I also ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna which came out with a wonderful portion. It was served with a mustard sauce that made wasabi taste like mayonnaise but it was tasty if used slightly. What I found funny was it was also served with a side of wasabi. Wow, anyone adding wasabi to that mustard likes it HOT HOT HOT. After the tuna, I went to a Fleming's Salad. This was their house salad with candied walnuts and cranraisins and a slightly sweet vinaigrette. It was missing some blue cheese or Gorgonzola but none the less it was good. I then got one of the special filet steaks cooked medium rare. It was served with a nice sauce and three spears of asparagus. By the way, everything here is a la cart which is not my favorite way to dine. I also then ordered a 2007 Chateau Montelena Cabernet which I knew would be exceptional and also $21.00 a glass but I was willing to go for it. The steak came perfectly cooked along with the glass of wine. Together the flavor was very good. I will have to say that the filet was not the best filet I have had nor the most tender. Overall it was tasty but not the best. I did not proceed to dessert but the meal all in all was good. I would have rather gone down to Cincinnati to the Precinct where the steak is always a WOW experience and the meal is NOT a la cart and you get a very nice meal for less than what I paid for this total meal. I must say that my server was very friendly and attentive. Overall for me I would give this experience a B-.

    Maybe I expect more from Flemings (like I would Ruth's Chris or Morton's), but I was not blown away. It was just satisfactory, but I want more than that for the price. I had the filet medallion small plate and the heirloom tomato and burrata salad. I did enjoy the suggested 3-wine flight they were offering, as it paired well with salad, entrée, and dessert. I had their dessert special, Pecan Tart, and it was the best part of the meal!

    Great service. I had one of the best fillets in a long time. Perfectly done 'medium plus'. Filet Mignon with crusted porcine and Gorgonzola. So-o-o good. It melted in your mouth. Then followed with the most scrumptious chocolate turtle caramel pie I have ever had (and I eat in restaurants all across the country!!). Pricey and everything is Ala carte but great steak. Will be returning again soon.

    wonderful experience. great food, great service, beautiful ambience. my family and i really enjoyed our meal here. sort of a princess from LA so Dayton was a bit of a shocker for me... but i'm so happy to have found a familiar upscale steakhouse here! love it.

    Very nice upscale restaurant at the Greene. I've only had a full dinner there once, but I was very happy with my filet mignon. What is really nice about the place is their happy hour. They have a $6 happy hour menu that includes an awesome burger, a tuna app, and martinis. Definitely a good place for an after work drink and bite.

    Fleming's are always a good bet. If you want to go to some spiffy chain steak house, you can't go wrong with either fleming's or ruth chris...or mastro's (but mastro's a bit more pricey). Anyways came here on my visit to ohio...in a way to celebrate my bro's first real job in 4 years. He had ny strip and i had the bone in rib eye. both are very very good. the sides were great. diet coke was, as always is, AMAZING. and the service was impeccable. thumbs up!

    An absolute atrocity when it comes to fine dining. The food is average, and way overpriced for that rating. My wife and I asked for a recommendation on a nice bottle of wine, which the waiter did, then commented that it was "excellent", with a price tag of $125.00 mind you. Lesson learned, he brought the bottle to our table, opened it and poured it. It tasted as good as any 10.00 bottle I've had. So I used my iPhone App to scan the barcode. You could purchase this bottle of Argyle anywhere in the Dayton area for 17.00. Now, I do expect a bottle to be marked up at least double, maybe even triple on a stretch, but over 100%? Really? When brought to the attention of our waiter, he "had to go check" as he could tell I was not happy. Meanwhile, while he was "checking" the Manager wandered by and ask how dinner was. So, I brought up the price of the wine. He informed me that they had to mark it up that way because they order so much of it and sometimes a bottle only gets opened for one glass and then goes to waste! I asked him to please excuse himself from our table as I did not want to hear such lame excuses. The waiter returned later an stated the reason was "we marked it incorrectly, it was actually mixed up with a different bottle of wine". So our cost would now only be 72.00. We contacted someone from their corporate office, whose reply was almost as lame as the Manager. It was to the tune of "Things are often marked up not by their quality, but because of the dining experience that you get at Fleming's", and she would be happy to waive the cork fee they charge if we would like to bring our own bottle on our next visit. I informed her their would be no next visit! If you think your going upscale for a nice dinner, think again. I can only laugh that they are doing any business at all.

    first time at this restaurant, and we were impressed. Food was delicious, their steaks are prime (top of the line), service was very good and overall it was a good experience. It is expensive, but the food was worth the price we paid. I recommend this place if you are looking for a treat, and dont mind spending the extra dollar.

Since I don't eat red meat, I stuck with the salmon. It was prepared much, much better than last time, was very good. Even the little bit of mushrooms that come with it was superior to my last visit. My friend got a petite filet mignon, which she said was very good. We each got the wedge salad and it was good as well. Made with iceburg lettuce, a few sliced cherry tomatoes, onions, dressing and a generous amount of blue cheese. Two wedge lettuce salads, two coffees, one salmon and one petite filet mignon was $95.00. I still can't get around the cost though, although I did see they offer smaller serving sizes which offers lower cost meals. I travel a lot and don't mind paying a high price for a good meal but Flemings is over-priced, not the same as an expensive restaurant. I would have given it four stars for the meal and service but due to it being over-priced, I only gave it three.

    I really love this place. I'm a steak and potatoes kind of girl but I'm hard to please when it comes to steak temperature, etc. My husband and I save Fleming's for special occasions and our food has been perfect every time. OK, once I got crazy and ordered chicken and that wasn't so good, but that was a bad move on my part. We've tried others - St. Elmo's in Indy and several upscale places in Columbus and Cincy - this place beats them all. If you're a first timer, take the hint and try the "Fleming's potatoes" and "Fleming's salad" - they're so named for a reason. Overall - can't compliment it highly enough and there are fantastic specials in the bar until 7 p.m.

    I visited this location on Dec. 1, 2012 great atmosphere but it was kinda of empty for a Saturday night. It does not compare to the nightlife in Charlotte, NC or any other major city but it was nice for dinner. The meal was good. I would come back for the "Happy Hour."

    The Sunday Sonoma is Superb ! I enjoyed smoked salmon omelet with potatoes and berries with whipped cream. My wife enjoyed porcini crusted filet with roasted carrots and Gorgonzola cream sauce. Service was excellent

    The steaks are great! Frankly it's the only reason to eat here. The desserts are ok the wines are 3 to 4x. The servers are great! But the thing that sticks in my mind is the price. Dinner for two with 2 drinks and one glass of wine ~$300 with 20% tip. I've eaten at many places around the world worth that price but a chain steak house isn't it. For my money The Oakwood Club is a much better value for half the price. However I will eat the coffee rub steak there again...in about 4 years when I just need a good great hunk of meat.

    I recently went for restaurant week and I have to say this was the best steak in Dayton. The only place better you can go is Carlo and Johnny's which is a steakhouse in Cincinnati. For $30 during restaurant week you get a steak, salad, mashed potatoes, and a peach cobbler dessert. Try Flemming's out if you have not yet you will not be disappointed!

    I had one of the best steaks of my life here. It was a ribeye with peppercorns on one side with their f-17 on the side. They had a great by the glass wine menu and the sides were good as well. The shrimp app was just ok. Besides the steak, what set this place apart was the service. They were on top of everything without being "hovering". The server was very good and accommodating, suggesting things that could be tweaked (like ordering the ribeye with peppercorns on one side only, or sampling their different sauces) and making the experience very pleasant.

    We went here for dinner with a group of 6 on a week night and the place was pretty quiet. There were only about 8 other guests in the restaurant when we were there, which seemed a little different to me. We started with a bottle of Pinot Noir, a beer and a Moscow Mule for drinks. We also ordered the Mussels to start. The server also brought warm bread to the table. Our server was great, and I will say that he worked the whole table by himself amazingly well. At this level of a restaurant, I would have expected to see an assistant or at least someone to help with water, bread, etc. but this guy was killing it all by himself - this is truly how this rating went to three stars. For dinner we ordered 3 Seas Bass, Double thick pork chops, NY Strip Steak and a Prime Ribeye. For sides - which they say are large enough to share as a group, but really are a size for two people maximum, we got Fleming's Potatoes, Truffle Mashed Potatoes and Mac and Cheese. My pork chops were well prepared and were good, my boyfriends NY Strip was prepared correctly and was okay, it really lacked flavor in our opinion. The Sea Bass was served in a broth with vegetables and it was good, as was the Ribeye. Nothing of the main dishes really stood out and said "Bam" in your face this is face full of flavor. The sides were decent, my favorite were the truffle mashed potatoes, the Flemings potatoes were overdone and the mac and cheese was luke warm. For the six of us it was a little over $450.00, which in my opinion was too expensive for the food we received. I would pass in the future and stick to my old stand by that is just my personal opinion.

    Giving it a second chance worked out. Our server Aaron was fantastic. He greeted us with their bread and special cheese/dips/butters. Salads came out quick and just as we ordered them! Entrees soon follow, again, I can't say it enough about the temperature of the steak. Almost, (not quite) but almost too hot to eat. Sizzles on your plate and in your mouth. Yum! Bone in Ribeye. Had the green beans side, very tasty. Blueberry Cheesecake for desert, loved it. Great time. All together, arrived 830pm on a Saturday and was out by 930. I'll be back, but only on special occasions.

    This review will be based on their "happy hour" even though I have dined in the restaurant many times and have never had anything other than a stellar experience from beginning to end. I honestly won't do a happy hour anywhere else this summer. They serve a skinny Mojito that is to die for...simply fabulous and very refreshing. Hopefully, Moe will wait on you - she is a great bartender, friendly and fun! They offer a unique happy hour menu (a selection of 5 appetizers and 5 drink choices for $6 each). Let me tell you, the appetizers are meals! I have had the shrimp, the burger, and the ahi tuna and all were beyond description. I did not need anything else to eat. So satisfying and worked well with my cocktail. The highlight of the happy hour are the homemade chips they serve. Delicious! I could eat more than one bowl! You may have to ask for them but they are free and worth all the calories and cholesterol (as long as you don't indulge often). I loved meeting the clientele at the bar too. Everyone was friendly and the place seems to attract unique personalities which makes people watching a bonus here. Fun atmosphere, great prices, fabulous cocktails and delicious food....I will be back.

    I was in Dayton (The most boring City in the world) finishing up a project with the client from HELL. The Relationship Manger, Project Manager, Accounting Consultant and Myself the Trading Systems Consultant are all there to take this client live. 4 months of repetitive training and telling these fragile stressed out people that their company won't fold. So, we do it and get them live on a new software platform. Nothing short of a miracle. So we decide to go celebrate and get a nice dinner. Dayton is pretty dead but we do find a Flemings at a strip mall kind of location. We get a couple glasses wine and some nice apps. The sides were pretty damn good. Jalapeno Potato Gratin, Delicious. I got a Rib Eye that was cooked perfectly and was soooo tender and juicy and tasty. One of the best steaks I have ever had. I don't know if I got lucky with this one. I have not been back to a Flemings since, but I will save a little place in my heart for that steak, literally.

    I've been to the Fleming's in downtown Boston, and was never really a fan. Being that it was restaurant week, I decided to try the Fleming's in Beavercreek at The Greene--I mean, $20.09 for a 3 course meal at a fancy-ish restaurant that includes aged filet mignon? Can't really go tooo wrong, right? Well, the verdict is: the steak at Fleming's Beavercreek kicks the butt of the steak at Fleming's Boston. My medium rare filet was so incredibly juicy, it totally hit the spot. On top of that, our server was very on top of things, always filling our waters and such. One thing that did bother me, though, was when we arrived. We checked in at the front about 5 minutes prior to our 8:30pm reservation for a table of 2 and were told we'd be seated shortly. Okay, no problem. So we wait. A few minutes later, another couple walks in and says they have 8:45pm reservations for a table of 2. They are seated immediately. Say...what?! Seriously? I could almost see the steam beginning to come out of my husband's ears. A little bit after, the hostess says to us, "Oh...what was your name again?" Shortly after, we were seated. That whole thing had us a bit peeved. What's more, the salad and desserts were TINY--probably because it was from the restaurant week menu, but nonetheless something to note. We came for the steak anyway.

    went to flemings because my parents were having an anniversary dinner. We got there around 6pm and there were a few other people seated at the time. It did pick up a bit later. We had some really good sourdough bread with some sort of cheese spread and garlic butter. My dad ate a whole loaf himself. On to the salad. I ordered the Caesar salad because its my usual. One of the stars I'm giving is for the chilled salad fork that I received with the salad. But later on I did feel slighted by not getting a heated fork for my entree. In any case, the salad dressing was good but it was bathing in it. I did really enjoy my filet and the flemings potatoes. A cheesy, jalapeno, stacked bit of goodness. finally i ordered the chocolate lava cake thing. Highly disappointing. It was more spongy than anything. Just not what I expected and I would never get it again. The ice cream part of it was the only thing that saved it from being a total disaster All in all, the service was excellent and the food was good. If I had skipped the salad and desert, I would have given it a 4 or 5. oh and Dayton isn't the most boring city in the world, Seymour Indiana is.

    Great food, good atmosphere for a 4 score. We all enjoyed delicious filets and shared the half 'n half and carrots sides, all perfectly prepared. Caesar salad was good, but lacked leaves from the green end of the romaine head. Manager Amy and waiter Michael's wait staff team was professional and attentive. Michael recommended a by-the-glass red quoted at $14, but charged $16, at the high end of the wine list. These are premium steaks at a premium price. Noisy, but it was a busy Saturday night with lots of energy.

Service was outstanding and the manager visited my table several times to insure my meal and experience were nothing short of stellar, and he left his business card. We arrived to find a packed parking lot and had no choice but to use their valet service (or park remotely and walk through the snow--not fun while wearing pumps). Our server was expedient, considering the size of our party. I did, however, have to wait a considerable amount of time for my drink order, as I was the only one in the party to order a bar drink instead of wine. In fact, I had to remind the waiter that I had ordered a bar drink long after my friends received their wine. Since there were no vegetarian entree options, I ordered a la carte side items. The potato dish I chose was delicious, but quite pricey considering it was merely a side item. My friends, on the other hand, were quite impressed with their steak orders. In fact, my husband noted that it was the best steak he's eaten in a very long time. We spent a considerable amount of time at Fleming's that evening--close to two hours. But, the atmosphere was comfortable and our time there was well-spent. Definitely an evening destination; not necessarily a place to grab dinner before a movie.

    The wife and ate here for our anniversary and were exacted to try it, we both love steak and this is the only decent place in town we hadn't tried. We're often leery of chains and also that uncomfortable feeling when you're in a place that's overly expensive and makes it feel "stuffy" and not relaxed. I consider myself to be a customer service junkie, even the best meal can be wrecked by poor customer service, Flemming's does it right and better than just about anywhere I've been before. First and foremost, they make you feel welcome and comfortable without hovering or making you feel out of place. We were always addressed by our names, in a friendly sort of way, but it made us feel really well taken care of. All of the food, drinks, etc were brought out in a timely manner without excessive waiting between items. The food was perfectly cooked, I mean it was fantastic! My rib eye was perfectly medium rare and sizzling when it was served, all of the sides and salads where amazing as well. At the end of the meal they gave my wife a box of chocolate truffles and a $25 gift certificate which was a really nice touch! Overall we felt very pampered without the uncomfortable feeling that many eateries at this price point make you feel, it was a great experience! I'm sure we'll be back in the future, this will probably be our go to place for special occasions. In my opinion this is the best steakhouse in Dayton, check them out!

    Fleming's is a bit out of my price range, but is my "Special Occasion" place. I went with a group of girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. I can't wait for another birthday so I can go again!!! Nice atmosphere, great service and the food........ mmmmm! I got the special for the night which was a surf and turf Lobster with Filet. I have never had a more perfectly cooked meal. The steak melted in my mouth. All of us ordered a different side and shared so we could experience all of them. I can't remember any of them being bad. After paying I was presented with a $25 gift certificate and a box of chocolate truffles to thank us for celebrating there.

    This was my second trip to Flemings for a birthday celebration which indicates I like the place. But what a difference a year makes. This year, Flemings has joined the tech revolution that many restaurants are embracing and the wine selection was on an ipad. Our server was Zach and he was great. I started the evening with a cosmo. I have become a self-proclaimed connoisseur of cosmos in the Dayton area and Flemings makes one of the best I have had. Continuing on the subject of alcohol, I am usually not at a loss when choosing a wine but we were not getting a bottle, just a glass, I asked for his recommendation for a Cabernet and was not disappointed. I chose the house salad but substituted the dressing and also took his recommendation for a special of the night again with a vegetable substitution. My dessert came with a candle on it in honor of my birthday. I was also given the box of chocolates and gift certificate worth $25.00 that I remember receiving last year as well. The place gets a little noisy with the bar basically occupying the same room. The overall atmosphere is very nice and classically dark. I am still in search of a place with great food, atmosphere and a dress code that requires at lease coat and tie for men and women wear dresses when you are dropping this amount of money for dinner. I just consider it part of the package that distinguishes a four star from a five star restaurant in my opinion.

    While anyone who knows me knows I don't give a d@mn where the beef is as long as I have a burger or steak once every six months or so. And the way the cookie crumbles, I've been eaten at too many fancy steakhouses in too short a period. But it's an entirely different story with my significant other, and on our anniversary he wants to come here. Fleming's is like all the others - side dishes feed a family of four so you have to compromise on what you're both "ho hum" about. Except on Monday's when they have Monday Madness or something where you get an appetizer, steak, two sides and a dessert for $49. Really - just a steak costs that much here! What a deal. He had a salad and I had onion soup to start. Both were excellent...we shared. Then steak and he had creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, I had Fleming's potatoes (think scalloped) and green beans. Then I had cheesecake and he had Turtle pie. Actually, we took 1/2 the steaks home along with the desserts. I expected a tiny steak (I would order the 6 oz. in any case) but it was a huge ribeye - the standard big enough for a family of four. Service was excellent, and if we had told them it was our anniversary I'm told we would have been given a small box of truffles. We kept that news to ourselves, just reveling in a wonderful evening out. As steak houses go, this is a good one. Even to someone as unenthusiastic as me. It still doesn't have me yelling "Where's the beef?" Oh...and as others have said, bring a fat wallet. Not cheap by any means.

    First and foremost, I'd like to recognize our server, James L., who was attentive, engaging and exceptionally helpful. He has a wonderful sense of when to check up on his clients and when to pass by when they're engaged in conversation. I can't say how valuable his service was in helping close some important business. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. I recently ate a Morton's for a business dinner and while the steak there was good, it wasn't that level of perfection you expect when spending $50 on an 8 ounce filet. But this steak was everything I could have hoped for. I asked for medium rare and that's what I received. And there's no need for anything to touch this steak but your knife and fork. It's simply perfection. The sides are equally as impressive. They easily accommodated my request to put the baked potato accoutrements on the side. Additionally, the Thai green beans were just slightly al dente without being underdone or overbearing on the spice. Overall, the atmosphere is excellent for a business dinner. We had a table for seven in the middle of the restaurant and weren't disturbed at all during the evening. The next time I'm closing up a deal, I'm coming here!!

    This was our second time eating here. First time was fabulous. This time, not so much. We got the Sunday Prime Rib special (huge price break). Salad came out, my husband's was soaked in dressing. Mine was fine. Prime ribs came out. We had asked for a quick sear on the grill, no problem. But the whole steak itself was ICE COLD, not just under cooked, but to the touch ICE cold. Sent it back to be heated, they took our sides to give us fresh ones (would have liked to eat those while we waited). Same steaks came back, still a little cold, mainly the fat, which was weird. Very uneven temperatures thru out, icy & warm, but no hot. Our same sides came back, too(our bites were missing). Not even heated up as much as first served. We were very surprised to get back all our original food. The steaks were very fatty for being pre-trimmed. I missed my favorite part, the little outer 1 inch section. They offered fresh steaks, but by then, we lost our taste for it. Service was friendly, she tried to make things right, but we left very disappointed with our food for the evening. Update: Aimee, from their management, reached out to me thru a yelp message that I should contact her, so she can hear more about my experience. I emailed her. She never replied.     Exquisite dining experience. The atmosphere is plush and staff is friendly and accommodating. Went there for anniversary and it was perfect. They had card waiting on our table when we were seated. Gave us chocolate truffles and a gift card for visiting on our anniversary. We both got big Filets mashed potatoes and onion rings. Chocolate lava cake is perfect ending. Make sure you tell them you want the lava cake when they bring out your food cause it takes 20 mins to prepare. Only criticism I would have was that one of the filets was a little fatty which shouldn't be at all for $47

    Great dining experience! Just be prepared to pay for how good it is. I've had dinner here twice and both times the food and service was excellent. I got the filet mignon with gorgonzola sauce the first and second time. The meat is succulent and cooked to perfection. I went with the option of glazing it with butter and having it charred the second time, and that turned out to be a good choice. I ordered the diablo shrimp to go along with the steak. Three very large shrimp for $12; expensive but delicious. My dinner companion ordered the special that night, which came with a filet mignon with more of a ginger/lemon glaze. It was good too, but I preferred my gorgonzola. She also got a full tail of lobster and her own personal bowl of butter, heated with a flame. I actually preferred the lobster tail to my shrimp, and it was about the same price. The two waiters I've had have been cordial, knowledgeable, and seemed pretty happy to be at work, so no complaints there. I got extra bread and butter both times upon request. The bread, by the way, is a meal all unto itself, so be careful not to get distracted.

    I am not a fan of chain restaurants, but Flemings is an exception. Their staff members are very professional and hospitable. The steaks are perfectly prepared and they are willing to accommodate any preferences, of course for a price. The wine list is extensive and the cocktails are great. I only wish they had grass fed or lifetime free hormones and antibiotics options. They did not advertise this as an option on the menu and so for that reason, I probably will continue to by my steaks at DLM as they are lifetime free and grassfed and just grill them out. It is actually cheaper. However, if we are not in the mood to cook and the Pine club is closed, we will consider this restaurant again.

    We've been to great steakhouses all over the U.S. and abroad. Fleming's has the best steaks we've ever had. Period. From the first bite to the last, you'll be rolling your eyes in ecstasy. The service is impeccable. Everything else is equally great, deserving of praise in itself, but seems to fall to the wayside after experiencing the steak. If you want to make a special occasion more special, take your party here.

    Very good steaks served here. The food is excellent as is th service. The baked potato was hot and just right as was the other vegetables and the salad. The price is a little high but the food and service warrant a good price so I cannot complain. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a fine meal.

    Flemings is a reputable steakhouse and this particular Flemings delivers food just barely squeaking in as acceptable for a Flemings. I find this location to be much like the rest of the Greene - resting on its laurels and doing little or absolutely nothing to actually be or stay "the best" in the marketplace. The service also just meets the general Fleming benchmark, but barely. Far from my best steakhouse experience and far down on the bottom of my Flemings experiences in other cities.

    i don't understand why this place has such great reviews. i ordered a $53 steak and i had to spit most of it out. if i had been in different company i would have made a big deal about it and left - i am so happy i did not pay for that meal. i will not drop that much money for the pretentious facade of this place. i don't know if it's a status kind of place or what, but i can think of 100 better places to get a steak, including the supermarket.

    I and other associates, have used Aimee's organization numerous times. Not once has it failed to be a good experience. It is apparent that Aimee has trained her Management team and staff to be client focused and service driven. As a business person you do not need to be concerned with a Client meeting at her restaurant. As a personal patron the experience is relaxing, quite, personal, even intimate. Her facility always has the appearance of fresh and clean unlike too many Dining experiences now days who just let facility appearance be the last thought. An artistic plated entre can so diminished by a mediocre dining facility. Lastly, her staff has consistently been courteous, attentive, yet gives space when in discussions. Again it is apparent that Aimee and her team have trained staff well in these finer points of Fine Dining.

    My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. When we did the online reservation there was a box for "reason for visit" and we put "birthday". From the MOMENT we walked in we had a pleasant experience, from the valet, to getting greeted, everyone seemed to know it was my birthday and made sure to wish me a happy one. :) We were seated in a cozy booth, and got our drinks. First off, BEST COSMO EVER. And my boyfriend loved his jamies and coke. Our waittress was super friendly and was so knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. My honey got the pork chop which I tasted and was TO DIE FOR. It was so moist and tender and full of flavor, I almost wanted to send my steak back and get that instead. However, my steak was quite tasty as well ;) Not the BEST I've had...but quite good. At the end of dinner our waitress gave be a small box of chocolate truffles and a $25 gift card to return on our next visit. Such a nice touch! A bit too pricey for non special occasions, but for service like that you bet I'll be returning when I get the chance. Thanks for making it a great birthday guys!

    I've always had a good experience at Flemming's. No complaints with the steaks or the service. The sides are good, but they are fairly standard offerings. Their prime burger is pretty solid. It's a nice, low-cost option.

    Great happy hour menu, and a delicious drink selection. I like the atmosphere - it's very dark and well-decorated. HORRIBLE service at the bar last Saturday. The bartender, while he made the martinis to spec and seemed to know his stuff, was mostly occupied talking to a couple seated at the end of the bar, without any regard to us, the only other two customers there at the time. Every drink sat empty and wasn't filled until we flagged him down (it's a small bar and this was 5:30). We were going to stay and have dinner, but with the crappy service, we left and went elsewhere instead. Too bad. We can get good food with bad service many other places in the area for less $.

    This is the best steakhouse in Dayton. We went for my birthday and the food and service (Richard was our waiter) were exceptional. Fun atmosphere, great bar, perfect lighting. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the 2 sides - potatoes with jalapenos and sauteed spinach - were fabulous. The wine that Richard suggested was a perfect match as well. This was our third time here and we have never been disappointed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

    I want to start this review off with a short rant about my opinion of restaurants of this type and some of the clueless people who go there. I am in no way a snob, but I feel that a big part of the fine dining experience is the atmosphere. The great food is important too, but you can get that at less expensive places. Outback has good steaks and we enjoy going there and similar places regularly. Flemings, however, is the type of restaurant that we reserve for special occasions and we expect it to feel special. Flemings does a fantastic job of achieving this, but some of the clientele don't seem to get it. I am a pretty casual person on a daily basis, but if I want to go out to celebrate, I expect to enjoy the entire experience. I think the majority of people have enough sense to dress appropriately, but there are some that really surprised me. There was a couple seated close to us last night and the husband was not even wearing clean clothes, let alone "proper" attire. Ripped, dirty jeans and an old tee shirt. He really took casual to the extreme and if I were the manager of that restaurant, I would have refused him service. I overheard that he and his wife were celebrating their anniversary even - unbelievable! The other surprising guests were a family - also dressed like they were going to Denny's - with their young children. WTH? Flemings is not a family restaurant. Children cannot possibly appreciate a fine dining experience and do not belong in this type of restaurant - PERIOD. For crying out loud people, if you can afford Flemings, you can afford a babysitter! Take the kids to McDonalds - I'm sure they would love that more. Enough of my ranting and on to my review... My husband took me to Flemings for my 50th birthday. Steak is my favorite food - I order it almost every time we go out - and I have to say this was the best steak I've EVER had in my life. I had the bone-in ribeye and it was melt in your mouth delicious. My husband ordered the fillet mignon and it was really good too. We also really loved the chipotle macaroni and cheese and the Flemings potatoes. The sides are huge, so they are enough to share, but we each ordered two sides for leftovers. Since we were celebrating a special occasion, they gave me my choice of complimentary desert. I picked cheesecake with blueberry sauce and it was very good. They also gave us a $25 gift card to come back - unfortunately it expires in about six weeks so we can't really save it for the next special occasion. As for the price, it is definitely expensive, so we will only go on very special occasions. Overall, it was a great experience with great food and we will definitely be back.

    Fleming's is one of the national chains of top flight steakhouses. Some people prefer Ruth's Chris. Some prefer Morton's. Some say Smith and Wollensky is the best. But if you live in Dayton, your only choice in town is Fleming's. I have eaten at three different Fleming's locations and they do a good job of maintaining quality across their restaurants, so if you have eaten at one somewhere else you will not be disappointed by the Dayton location. For me one of their nicest features is the wine flight which allows you to sample up to three different wines with your meal. Each pour is about a third of a regular glass and they are priced accordingly. This also has the advantage of allowing one to sample a more expensive wine. I find that the higher priced bottles are actually a better deal. You'll pay $8 for a glass of a wine that retails for $15, but you'll pay $18 for a glass of a wine that retails for $55, so there's actually less of a mark up on the expensive wine. The service has always been excellent and there is complimentary valet parking. Fleming's also features one of the best kept secrets in Dayton: awesome hamburgers at reasonable prices. During their happy hour you can have what I easily consider the best burger I've ever eaten for $6 with french fries. Two beers are only an additional $6. $12 plus tip for a meal and two drinks is reasonable for dinner anywhere and especially at a place like Fleming's.

    They have Blue Cheese stuffed olives for martini's!! We had the pork belly appetizer and wow...I could have eaten a larger portion as a meal with a side of creamed spinach. The entree was delicious, perfectly cooked. I got the porcini rubbed filet mignon, which our waitress recommended. It was an excellent choice. I will definitely try Flemming's again near my home in NJ.

The first time we went our waiter was more concerned about the breasts on the ladies two tables over than the filet on our plates. He was more disinterested in his job than...well I don't know... I called the manager to let her know and she was extremely apologetic and invited us back. Glad we took her up on that offer. Our two subsequent visits have been incredible. EVERYONE on the wait staff was attentive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. Their interactive wine list is incredible. We are not wine drinkers but seriously contemplated it just to play with the iPad. Alas we stuck to our roots and visited the girlie drink book. All of their drinks were insanely delicious. The Farmer's Daughter was my favorite. Blood orange wasn't bad either. Onto the food...there is nothing I have had here that has ever been bad (other than our first waiter). The filet is delicious and don't forget the bleu cheese potatoes. My +1 loved the peppercorn filet and their signature potatoes. Yum-O. You must cap your meal off with their chocolate lava cake. Double Yum-O. Sadly, there are not many fine dining choices in Dayton. I am very glad Flemings is, though. I promise you will not be disappointed.

    Went here for a business dinner... you literally could not pay me to return. I'm so glad I didn't have to pay for my food here because I would be thoroughly pissed off if I did. I knew something wasn't quite right when the waiter forced me to submit my dinner order within 20 seconds (no joke) of sitting down despite it being a half hour before the speeches started. Can't say I've encountered in your face rudeness on that level at a place like this before... FINE whatever give me the steak option. Hit me with your best shot classy steakhouse I'm hungry! The food itself was disgustingly bad. Stale cold tasteless dinner rolls. Massive chunks of fat everywhere in my steak... nearly 70% was inedible. Are you sure you're a top notch steakhouse? TGI Fridays does steak better than this. The mashed potatoes taste like someone put a couple cigarettes out in them before serving (served cold I might add) just absolutely gross couldn't stomach more than a spoonful. I didn't dare try anything else on the table at that point and decided to stick to my wine and choked down one more tasteless roll because I was starving. I really can't understand how people go here and pay top $$$ for this dreck. You'd have to be crazy. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else in the Greene to eat. Seriously folks you have plenty of good options right around you. McCormick & Schmick, Pints & Pies, Cheesecake Factory... Save yourselves!

    Classy ambience, fabulous cocktails, and delicious appetizers. I came here with a friend on Friday evening during their happy hour. We got there early enough to find a seat by the bar right away. We started off with some of their mixed drinks, I had the Blueberry Lemon drop (slightly more fruity then I would have liked it to taste but not all that bad) followed by a Farmer's Daughter, consisted of Vodka, fresh basil, and strawberry citrus flavor! Now that one was just Perfect! My friend had the Tito's Fresh mint Lemon drop, which also tasted good! Just the right touch of zesty flavor, very refreshing! Next we moved on to their wine menu, a huge selection all found on an IPad! I had asked our waitress for a recommendation of a Cabernet and enjoyed every drop to the end! With our drinks we enjoyed the Seared AHI Tuna, and their Colossal Shrimp Skewers, both exceptional tasting! We definitely plan on coming back here again and enjoying a full dinner!

    First and foremost, I'd like to recognize our server, James L., who was attentive, engaging and exceptionally helpful. He has a wonderful sense of when to check up on his clients and when to pass by when they're engaged in conversation. I can't say how valuable his service was in helping close some important business. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. I recently ate a Morton's for a business dinner and while the steak there was good, it wasn't that level of perfection you expect when spending $50 on an 8 ounce filet. But this steak was everything I could have hoped for. I asked for medium rare and that's what I received. And there's no need for anything to touch this steak but your knife and fork. It's simply perfection. The sides are equally as impressive. They easily accommodated my request to put the baked potato accoutrements on the side. Additionally, the Thai green beans were just slightly al dente without being underdone or overbearing on the spice. Overall, the atmosphere is excellent for a business dinner. We had a table for seven in the middle of the restaurant and weren't disturbed at all during the evening. The next time I'm closing up a deal, I'm coming here!!

    The steaks are great! Frankly it's the only reason to eat here. The desserts are ok the wines are 3 to 4x. The servers are great! But the thing that sticks in my mind is the price. Dinner for two with 2 drinks and one glass of wine ~$300 with 20% tip. I've eaten at many places around the world worth that price but a chain steak house isn't it. For my money The Oakwood Club is a much better value for half the price. However I will eat the coffee rub steak there again...in about 4 years when I just need a good great hunk of meat.

    Fleming's is a bit out of my price range, but is my "Special Occasion" place. I went with a group of girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. I can't wait for another birthday so I can go again!!! Nice atmosphere, great service and the food........ mmmmm! I got the special for the night which was a surf and turf Lobster with Filet. I have never had a more perfectly cooked meal. The steak melted in my mouth. All of us ordered a different side and shared so we could experience all of them. I can't remember any of them being bad. After paying I was presented with a $25 gift certificate and a box of chocolate truffles to thank us for celebrating there.

    Flemings is a nice steak house with good food and decent service. This place would receive four stars, but loses a star because they forgot to put in my order. This would not be a huge deal except the following: 1. I am nine months pregnant, and you don't forget my food and then make me watch my husband eat. 2. I never received an explanation of why this happened. 3. No one ever apologized for forgetting. This makes me sad, because the food was good, and other then forgetting my order the service was too. I hope to go back and give Fleming's another chance, because I think they can do better.

    This was my second trip to Flemings for a birthday celebration which indicates I like the place. But what a difference a year makes. This year, Flemings has joined the tech revolution that many restaurants are embracing and the wine selection was on an ipad. Our server was Zach and he was great. I started the evening with a cosmo. I have become a self-proclaimed connoisseur of cosmos in the Dayton area and Flemings makes one of the best I have had. Continuing on the subject of alcohol, I am usually not at a loss when choosing a wine but we were not getting a bottle, just a glass, I asked for his recommendation for a Cabernet and was not disappointed. I chose the house salad but substituted the dressing and also took his recommendation for a special of the night again with a vegetable substitution. My dessert came with a candle on it in honor of my birthday. I was also given the box of chocolates and gift certificate worth $25.00 that I remember receiving last year as well. The place gets a little noisy with the bar basically occupying the same room. The overall atmosphere is very nice and classically dark. I am still in search of a place with great food, atmosphere and a dress code that requires at lease coat and tie for men and women wear dresses when you are dropping this amount of money for dinner. I just consider it part of the package that distinguishes a four star from a five star restaurant in my opinion.

    Screw you Fleming's! You freaking have PRIME in your name and you have the audacity to serve me a rib eye steak that was not USDA PRIME. I tasted the freaking USDA CHOICE in the steak in every single bite. What makes you think you can serve such inferior steak to me? You thought I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a plain steak and one that's supposed to be well marbelized with juice and succulent veins of fat? Jerks. If I'd known I could make a better steak at home with USDA PRIME steaks purchased at COSTCO, I would have never dropped 45 bones for the lame steak.

    My wife and I went here for our anniversary last night and all I can say is WOW. The service was superior, our waitresses name was Alison and she was more than helpful and was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu and the wine. The steaks were perfect and the Caesar salad is a must if you enjoy them. I have been around the world in the military and I have never had that perfect of a meal. More than 5 stars if I could.

    Very nice upscale restaurant at the Greene. I've only had a full dinner there once, but I was very happy with my filet mignon. What is really nice about the place is their happy hour. They have a $6 happy hour menu that includes an awesome burger, a tuna app, and martinis. Definitely a good place for an after work drink and bite.

    We went here for dinner with a group of 6 on a week night and the place was pretty quiet. There were only about 8 other guests in the restaurant when we were there, which seemed a little different to me. We started with a bottle of Pinot Noir, a beer and a Moscow Mule for drinks. We also ordered the Mussels to start. The server also brought warm bread to the table. Our server was great, and I will say that he worked the whole table by himself amazingly well. At this level of a restaurant, I would have expected to see an assistant or at least someone to help with water, bread, etc. but this guy was killing it all by himself - this is truly how this rating went to three stars. For dinner we ordered 3 Seas Bass, Double thick pork chops, NY Strip Steak and a Prime Ribeye. For sides - which they say are large enough to share as a group, but really are a size for two people maximum, we got Fleming's Potatoes, Truffle Mashed Potatoes and Mac and Cheese. My pork chops were well prepared and were good, my boyfriends NY Strip was prepared correctly and was okay, it really lacked flavor in our opinion. The Sea Bass was served in a broth with vegetables and it was good, as was the Ribeye. Nothing of the main dishes really stood out and said "Bam" in your face this is face full of flavor. The sides were decent, my favorite were the truffle mashed potatoes, the Flemings potatoes were overdone and the mac and cheese was luke warm. For the six of us it was a little over $450.00, which in my opinion was too expensive for the food we received. I would pass in the future and stick to my old stand by that is just my personal opinion.

    The calamari and caprese skewers and artichoke dip were just okay the steak was the only really good part about our whole dinner. Even the accompaniments where lackluster. They were at the potato gratin and the green beans both were nothing to write home about and the cheesecake was kind of lackluster I wish I had tried the crème brûlée instead the service and ambience are great the bread was hot and fresh with blue cheese butter and sun-dried tomato butter as well Another thing I enjoyed was the salad The mixed drinks weren't really innovative and lacked some finesse

    We've been to great steakhouses all over the U.S. and abroad. Fleming's has the best steaks we've ever had. Period. From the first bite to the last, you'll be rolling your eyes in ecstasy. The service is impeccable. Everything else is equally great, deserving of praise in itself, but seems to fall to the wayside after experiencing the steak. If you want to make a special occasion more special, take your party here.

    Very good steaks served here. The food is excellent as is th service. The baked potato was hot and just right as was the other vegetables and the salad. The price is a little high but the food and service warrant a good price so I cannot complain. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a fine meal.

    While anyone who knows me knows I don't give a d@mn where the beef is as long as I have a burger or steak once every six months or so. And the way the cookie crumbles, I've been eaten at too many fancy steakhouses in too short a period. But it's an entirely different story with my significant other, and on our anniversary he wants to come here. Fleming's is like all the others - side dishes feed a family of four so you have to compromise on what you're both "ho hum" about. Except on Monday's when they have Monday Madness or something where you get an appetizer, steak, two sides and a dessert for $49. Really - just a steak costs that much here! What a deal. He had a salad and I had onion soup to start. Both were excellent...we shared. Then steak and he had creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, I had Fleming's potatoes (think scalloped) and green beans. Then I had cheesecake and he had Turtle pie. Actually, we took 1/2 the steaks home along with the desserts. I expected a tiny steak (I would order the 6 oz. in any case) but it was a huge ribeye - the standard big enough for a family of four. Service was excellent, and if we had told them it was our anniversary I'm told we would have been given a small box of truffles. We kept that news to ourselves, just reveling in a wonderful evening out. As steak houses go, this is a good one. Even to someone as unenthusiastic as me. It still doesn't have me yelling "Where's the beef?" Oh...and as others have said, bring a fat wallet. Not cheap by any means.

    Exquisite dining experience. The atmosphere is plush and staff is friendly and accommodating. Went there for anniversary and it was perfect. They had card waiting on our table when we were seated. Gave us chocolate truffles and a gift card for visiting on our anniversary. We both got big Filets mashed potatoes and onion rings. Chocolate lava cake is perfect ending. Make sure you tell them you want the lava cake when they bring out your food cause it takes 20 mins to prepare. Only criticism I would have was that one of the filets was a little fatty which shouldn't be at all for $47

    This was our second time eating here. First time was fabulous. This time, not so much. We got the Sunday Prime Rib special (huge price break). Salad came out, my husband's was soaked in dressing. Mine was fine. Prime ribs came out. We had asked for a quick sear on the grill, no problem. But the whole steak itself was ICE COLD, not just under cooked, but to the touch ICE cold. Sent it back to be heated, they took our sides to give us fresh ones (would have liked to eat those while we waited). Same steaks came back, still a little cold, mainly the fat, which was weird. Very uneven temperatures thru out, icy & warm, but no hot. Our same sides came back, too(our bites were missing). Not even heated up as much as first served. We were very surprised to get back all our original food. The steaks were very fatty for being pre-trimmed. I missed my favorite part, the little outer 1 inch section. They offered fresh steaks, but by then, we lost our taste for it. Service was friendly, she tried to make things right, but we left very disappointed with our food for the evening. Update: Aimee, from their management, reached out to me thru a yelp message that I should contact her, so she can hear more about my experience. I emailed her. She never replied. Guess it was an empty sentiment. Very disappointed that she just dropped the ball

    Great dining experience! Just be prepared to pay for how good it is. I've had dinner here twice and both times the food and service was excellent. I got the filet mignon with gorgonzola sauce the first and second time. The meat is succulent and cooked to perfection. I went with the option of glazing it with butter and having it charred the second time, and that turned out to be a good choice. I ordered the diablo shrimp to go along with the steak. Three very large shrimp for $12; expensive but delicious. My dinner companion ordered the special that night, which came with a filet mignon with more of a ginger/lemon glaze. It was good too, but I preferred my gorgonzola. She also got a full tail of lobster and her own personal bowl of butter, heated with a flame. I actually preferred the lobster tail to my shrimp, and it was about the same price. The two waiters I've had have been cordial, knowledgeable, and seemed pretty happy to be at work, so no complaints there. I got extra bread and butter both times upon request. The bread, by the way, is a meal all unto itself, so be careful not to get distracted.

    I am not a fan of chain restaurants, but Flemings is an exception. Their staff members are very professional and hospitable. The steaks are perfectly prepared and they are willing to accommodate any preferences, of course for a price. The wine list is extensive and the cocktails are great. I only wish they had grass fed or lifetime free hormones and antibiotics options. They did not advertise this as an option on the menu and so for that reason, I probably will continue to by my steaks at DLM as they are lifetime free and grassfed and just grill them out. It is actually cheaper. However, if we are not in the mood to cook and the Pine club is closed, we will consider this restaurant again.

    Fleming's are always a good bet. If you want to go to some spiffy chain steak house, you can't go wrong with either fleming's or ruth chris...or mastro's (but mastro's a bit more pricey). Anyways came here on my visit to ohio...in a way to celebrate my bro's first real job in 4 years. He had ny strip and i had the bone in rib eye. both are very very good. the sides were great. diet coke was, as always is, AMAZING. and the service was impeccable. thumbs up!

    Went here for a business dinner... you literally could not pay me to return. I'm so glad I didn't have to pay for my food here because I would be thoroughly pissed off if I did. I knew something wasn't quite right when the waiter forced me to submit my dinner order within 20 seconds (no joke) of sitting down despite it being a half hour before the speeches started. Can't say I've encountered in your face rudeness on that level at a place like this before... FINE whatever give me the steak option. Hit me with your best shot classy steakhouse I'm hungry! The food itself was disgustingly bad. Stale cold tasteless dinner rolls. Massive chunks of fat everywhere in my steak... nearly 70% was inedible. Are you sure you're a top notch steakhouse? TGI Fridays does steak better than this. The mashed potatoes taste like someone put a couple cigarettes out in them before serving (served cold I might add) just absolutely gross couldn't stomach more than a spoonful. I didn't dare try anything else on the table at that point and decided to stick to my wine and choked down one more tasteless roll because I was starving. I really can't understand how people go here and pay top $$$ for this dreck. You'd have to be crazy. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else in the Greene to eat. Seriously folks you have plenty of good options right around you. McCormick & Schmick, Pints & Pies, Cheesecake Factory... Save yourselves!

    Classy ambience, fabulous cocktails, and delicious appetizers. I came here with a friend on Friday evening during their happy hour. We got there early enough to find a seat by the bar right away. We started off with some of their mixed drinks, I had the Blueberry Lemon drop (slightly more fruity then I would have liked it to taste but not all that bad) followed by a Farmer's Daughter, consisted of Vodka, fresh basil, and strawberry citrus flavor! Now that one was just Perfect! My friend had the Tito's Fresh mint Lemon drop, which also tasted good! Just the right touch of zesty flavor, very refreshing! Next we moved on to their wine menu, a huge selection all found on an IPad! I had asked our waitress for a recommendation of a Cabernet and enjoyed every drop to the end! With our drinks we enjoyed the Seared AHI Tuna, and their Colossal Shrimp Skewers, both exceptional tasting! We definitely plan on coming back here again and enjoying a full dinner!

    This is the best steakhouse in Dayton. We went for my birthday and the food and service (Richard was our waiter) were exceptional. Fun atmosphere, great bar, perfect lighting. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the 2 sides - potatoes with jalapenos and sauteed spinach - were fabulous. The wine that Richard suggested was a perfect match as well. This was our third time here and we have never been disappointed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

    I want to start this review off with a short rant about my opinion of restaurants of this type and some of the clueless people who go there. I am in no way a snob, but I feel that a big part of the fine dining experience is the atmosphere. The great food is important too, but you can get that at less expensive places. Outback has good steaks and we enjoy going there and similar places regularly. Flemings, however, is the type of restaurant that we reserve for special occasions and we expect it to feel special. Flemings does a fantastic job of achieving this, but some of the clientele don't seem to get it. I am a pretty casual person on a daily basis, but if I want to go out to celebrate, I expect to enjoy the entire experience. I think the majority of people have enough sense to dress appropriately, but there are some that really surprised me. There was a couple seated close to us last night and the husband was not even wearing clean clothes, let alone "proper" attire. Ripped, dirty jeans and an old tee shirt. He really took casual to the extreme and if I were the manager of that restaurant, I would have refused him service. I overheard that he and his wife were celebrating their anniversary even - unbelievable! The other surprising guests were a family - also dressed like they were going to Denny's - with their young children. WTH? Flemings is not a family restaurant. Children cannot possibly appreciate a fine dining experience and do not belong in this type of restaurant - PERIOD. For crying out loud people, if you can afford Flemings, you can afford a babysitter! Take the kids to McDonalds - I'm sure they would love that more. Enough of my ranting and on to my review... My husband took me to Flemings for my 50th birthday. Steak is my favorite food - I order it almost every time we go out - and I have to say this was the best steak I've EVER had in my life. I had the bone-in ribeye and it was melt in your mouth delicious. My husband ordered the fillet mignon and it was really good too. We also really loved the chipotle macaroni and cheese and the Flemings potatoes. The sides are huge, so they are enough to share, but we each ordered two sides for leftovers. Since we were celebrating a special occasion, they gave me my choice of complimentary desert. I picked cheesecake with blueberry sauce and it was very good. They also gave us a $25 gift card to come back - unfortunately it expires in about six weeks so we can't really save it for the next special occasion. As for the price, it is definitely expensive, so we will only go on very special occasions. Overall, it was a great experience with great food and we will definitely be back.

    Fleming's is one of the national chains of top flight steakhouses. Some people prefer Ruth's Chris. Some prefer Morton's. Some say Smith and Wollensky is the best. But if you live in Dayton, your only choice in town is Fleming's. I have eaten at three different Fleming's locations and they do a good job of maintaining quality across their restaurants, so if you have eaten at one somewhere else you will not be disappointed by the Dayton location. For me one of their nicest features is the wine flight which allows you to sample up to three different wines with your meal. Each pour is about a third of a regular glass and they are priced accordingly. This also has the advantage of allowing one to sample a more expensive wine. I find that the higher priced bottles are actually a better deal. You'll pay $8 for a glass of a wine that retails for $15, but you'll pay $18 for a glass of a wine that retails for $55, so there's actually less of a mark up on the expensive wine. The service has always been excellent and there is complimentary valet parking. Fleming's also features one of the best kept secrets in Dayton: awesome hamburgers at reasonable prices. During their happy hour you can have what I easily consider the best burger I've ever eaten for $6 with french fries. Two beers are only an additional $6. $12 plus tip for a meal and two drinks is reasonable for dinner anywhere and especially at a place like Fleming's.

    They have Blue Cheese stuffed olives for martini's!! We had the pork belly appetizer and wow...I could have eaten a larger portion as a meal with a side of creamed spinach. The entree was delicious, perfectly cooked. I got the porcini rubbed filet mignon, which our waitress recommended. It was an excellent choice. I will definitely try Flemming's again near my home in NJ.

    Screw you Fleming's! You freaking have PRIME in your name and you have the audacity to serve me a rib eye steak that was not USDA PRIME. I tasted the freaking USDA CHOICE in the steak in every single bite. What makes you think you can serve such inferior steak to me? You thought I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a plain steak and one that's supposed to be well marbelized with juice and succulent veins of fat? Jerks. If I'd known I could make a better steak at home with USDA PRIME steaks purchased at COSTCO, I would have never dropped 45 bones for the lame steak.

    My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. When we did the online reservation there was a box for "reason for visit" and we put "birthday". From the MOMENT we walked in we had a pleasant experience, from the valet, to getting greeted, everyone seemed to know it was my birthday and made sure to wish me a happy one. :) We were seated in a cozy booth, and got our drinks. First off, BEST COSMO EVER. And my boyfriend loved his jamies and coke. Our waittress was super friendly and was so knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. My honey got the pork chop which I tasted and was TO DIE FOR. It was so moist and tender and full of flavor, I almost wanted to send my steak back and get that instead. However, my steak was quite tasty as well ;) Not the BEST I've had...but quite good. At the end of dinner our waitress gave be a small box of chocolate truffles and a $25 gift card to return on our next visit. Such a nice touch! A bit too pricey for non special occasions, but for service like that you bet I'll be returning when I get the chance. Thanks for making it a great birthday guys!

    Great happy hour menu, and a delicious drink selection. I like the atmosphere - it's very dark and well-decorated. HORRIBLE service at the bar last Saturday. The bartender, while he made the martinis to spec and seemed to know his stuff, was mostly occupied talking to a couple seated at the end of the bar, without any regard to us, the only other two customers there at the time. Every drink sat empty and wasn't filled until we flagged him down (it's a small bar and this was 5:30). We were going to stay and have dinner, but with the crappy service, we left and went elsewhere instead. Too bad. We can get good food with bad service many other places in the area for less $.

    My wife and I went here for our anniversary last night and all I can say is WOW. The service was superior, our waitresses name was Alison and she was more than helpful and was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu and the wine. The steaks were perfect and the Caesar salad is a must if you enjoy them. I have been around the world in the military and I have never had that perfect of a meal. More than 5 stars if I could.

    Hands down, Dayton's best steakhouse. Service is always impeccable. Steaks cooked to perfection. Fantastic sides. Great desserts. Great wine list (although I bring my own.) Love the ambiance. Do wish they would require at least slacks and a sport coat for men, though. Part of the atmosphere is the patrons around you, and you shouldn't feel like you are dining with people who are dressed more appropriately for a Waffle House. Still, one of my three favs in Dayton.

    I've been to Fleming's twice. Everything inside is very clean and very clean and well decorated. Note, I wasn't there for an occasion that required me to be dressed up so I wore jeans and I noticed that I wasn't the only one. However, there were some people who were really dressed up, so dress up if you like but business casual is ok too. Beyond the décor, the food and wine are some of the best I've ever had. I've only had better steaks at the Golden Steer in Las Vegas. It is because of the Steer and Flemings that I can't bring myself to order a steak at your run of the mill place. I'd suggest the Flemings potatoes as well. In the end I don't think there is a better steak place in the Dayton region. If there is, let me know because I want to check it out.

    Our server was courteous and very knowledgeable concerning the menu. We both got ribeyes, which were decent, but certainly not anywhere near $50 decent. We got the Flemings potatoes, which were awesome, but paid $8 for a simple side dish. I would recommend this place for an extremely important occasion, and only if you are prepared to drop around $200. Great service, good food, not worth the ticket. Go to your butcher get a prime steak, buy your own bottle of wine, and do it at your house for 10% of the cost.

    great seafood appetizers. main course was filet mignon but it was overcooked. I ordered it medium, was done more on the well side. would prefer mine a little more pink.. plenty of side dishes...enough to share with the party. one side can be shared between 2 people. parking is terrible. in the middle of a busy shoppng center and other restaurants. had to park quite a distance from the restaurant. also they ran out of a certain wine that a member of the party ordered. apparetnyl it has happened 2 times before.....maybe they should stock more of it.....

    I took my grandparents here for their wedding anniversary and it was one of the best meals I have had in awhile. I got the fillet, my grandpa got the porterhouse and my grandma got the surf and turf. We also enjoyed the flemmings potatoes, asparagus and a bottle of Silver Oak. They did have to take my steak back once as I asked for medium and it came out pretty rare but when the manager returned with it they had cooked it to perfection. The wait staff was fantastic and at the end of dinner the waitress brought out some truffles as a gift to my grandparents. We also had the creme brulee and turtle cake which was amazing. We had a great experience and would go back again.

    Fantastic steak! Great value in my opinion, compared to other high-end steakhouses.. The filet was one of the best I've eaten for a while. And the wine list was very good, with many of the wines served by the glass. Also, we brought our 10 year old daughter, who loves steak, and the children's meal with steak was perfect, and just $15! This will be our new go- to steak house for entertaining or a dinner out.

    I decided to head out for the best steak in Dayton. I had been to the Grubb and Pine Club and both just mediocre in my steak tastings so I thought I would give Fleming's a try. My final bill totaled $98.41 for just me including wine and appetizers which I will go into. I entered the restaurant and walked up to the hostess desk and said one for dinner. With a tone that resembled "we are booked and wish you to go elsewhere" she proceeded to tell me (at 7:30pm) that the house was totally booked and the earliest would be 9:30. Why do they say it in such a way as to push you away? If I didn't want to wait I would tell her no thank you, or if I chose to then what is it any business of hers? Anyway, she proceeded to tell me that I could go to the bar and it was first come first serve seating. I went ahead and asked if she could take my name anyway and she did again with the same attitude. I walked into the bar and low and behold a booth had just cleared so I sat down immediately and nodding to the hostess I was sitting there so she could remove my name from the wait. Now on to dinner.... I began with a glass of wine, looking for a 2007 Cabernet, I chose a Trefethen from California. It was not bad. I also ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna which came out with a wonderful portion. It was served with a mustard sauce that made wasabi taste like mayonnaise but it was tasty if used slightly. What I found funny was it was also served with a side of wasabi. Wow, anyone adding wasabi to that mustard likes it HOT HOT HOT. After the tuna, I went to a Fleming's Salad. This was their house salad with candied walnuts and cranraisins and a slightly sweet vinaigrette. It was missing some blue cheese or Gorgonzola but none the less it was good. I then got one of the special filet steaks cooked medium rare. It was served with a nice sauce and three spears of asparagus. By the way, everything here is a la cart which is not my favorite way to dine. I also then ordered a 2007 Chateau Montelena Cabernet which I knew would be exceptional and also $21.00 a glass but I was willing to go for it. The steak came perfectly cooked along with the glass of wine. Together the flavor was very good. I will have to say that the filet was not the best filet I have had nor the most tender. Overall it was tasty but not the best. I did not proceed to dessert but the meal all in all was good. I would have rather gone down to Cincinnati to the Precinct where the steak is always a WOW experience and the meal is NOT a la cart and you get a very nice meal for less than what I paid for this total meal. I must say that my server was very friendly and attentive. Overall for me I would give this experience a B-.

    Great service. I had one of the best fillets in a long time. Perfectly done 'medium plus'. Filet Mignon with crusted porcine and Gorgonzola. So-o-o good. It melted in your mouth. Then followed with the most scrumptious chocolate turtle caramel pie I have ever had (and I eat in restaurants all across the country!!). Pricey and everything is Ala carte but great steak. Will be returning again soon.

    Maybe I expect more from Flemings (like I would Ruth's Chris or Morton's), but I was not blown away. It was just satisfactory, but I want more than that for the price. I had the filet medallion small plate and the heirloom tomato and burrata salad. I did enjoy the suggested 3-wine flight they were offering, as it paired well with salad, entrée, and dessert. I had their dessert special, Pecan Tart, and it was the best part of the meal!

    An absolute atrocity when it comes to fine dining. The food is average, and way overpriced for that rating. My wife and I asked for a recommendation on a nice bottle of wine, which the waiter did, then commented that it was "excellent", with a price tag of $125.00 mind you. Lesson learned, he brought the bottle to our table, opened it and poured it. It tasted as good as any 10.00 bottle I've had. So I used my iPhone App to scan the barcode. You could purchase this bottle of Argyle anywhere in the Dayton area for 17.00. Now, I do expect a bottle to be marked up at least double, maybe even triple on a stretch, but over 100%? Really? When brought to the attention of our waiter, he "had to go check" as he could tell I was not happy. Meanwhile, while he was "checking" the Manager wandered by and ask how dinner was. So, I brought up the price of the wine. He informed me that they had to mark it up that way because they order so much of it and sometimes a bottle only gets opened for one glass and then goes to waste! I asked him to please excuse himself from our table as I did not want to hear such lame excuses. The waiter returned later an stated the reason was "we marked it incorrectly, it was actually mixed up with a different bottle of wine". So our cost would now only be 72.00. We contacted someone from their corporate office, whose reply was almost as lame as the Manager. It was to the tune of "Things are often marked up not by their quality, but because of the dining experience that you get at Fleming's", and she would be happy to waive the cork fee they charge if we would like to bring our own bottle on our next visit. I informed her their would be no next visit! If you think your going upscale for a nice dinner, think again. I can only laugh that they are doing any business at all.

    first time at this restaurant, and we were impressed. Food was delicious, their steaks are prime (top of the line), service was very good and overall it was a good experience. It is expensive, but the food was worth the price we paid. I recommend this place if you are looking for a treat, and dont mind spending the extra dollar.

    Exquisite dining experience. The atmosphere is plush and staff is friendly and accommodating. Went there for anniversary and it was perfect. They had card waiting on our table when we were seated. Gave us chocolate truffles and a gift card for visiting on our anniversary. We both got big Filets mashed potatoes and onion rings. Chocolate lava cake is perfect ending. Make sure you tell them you want the lava cake when they bring out your food cause it takes 20 mins to prepare. Only criticism I would have was that one of the filets was a little fatty which shouldn't be at all for $47

    We've been to great steakhouses all over the U.S. and abroad. Fleming's has the best steaks we've ever had. Period. From the first bite to the last, you'll be rolling your eyes in ecstasy. The service is impeccable. Everything else is equally great, deserving of praise in itself, but seems to fall to the wayside after experiencing the steak. If you want to make a special occasion more special, take your party here.

    While anyone who knows me knows I don't give a d@mn where the beef is as long as I have a burger or steak once every six months or so. And the way the cookie crumbles, I've been eaten at too many fancy steakhouses in too short a period. But it's an entirely different story with my significant other, and on our anniversary he wants to come here. Fleming's is like all the others - side dishes feed a family of four so you have to compromise on what you're both "ho hum" about. Except on Monday's when they have Monday Madness or something where you get an appetizer, steak, two sides and a dessert for $49. Really - just a steak costs that much here! What a deal. He had a salad and I had onion soup to start. Both were excellent...we shared. Then steak and he had creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, I had Fleming's potatoes (think scalloped) and green beans. Then I had cheesecake and he had Turtle pie. Actually, we took 1/2 the steaks home along with the desserts. I expected a tiny steak (I would order the 6 oz. in any case) but it was a huge ribeye - the standard big enough for a family of four. Service was excellent, and if we had told them it was our anniversary I'm told we would have been given a small box of truffles. We kept that news to ourselves, just reveling in a wonderful evening out. As steak houses go, this is a good one. Even to someone as unenthusiastic as me. It still doesn't have me yelling "Where's the beef?" Oh...and as others have said, bring a fat wallet. Not cheap by any means.

    First and foremost, I'd like to recognize our server, James L., who was attentive, engaging and exceptionally helpful. He has a wonderful sense of when to check up on his clients and when to pass by when they're engaged in conversation. I can't say how valuable his service was in helping close some important business. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. I recently ate a Morton's for a business dinner and while the steak there was good, it wasn't that level of perfection you expect when spending $50 on an 8 ounce filet. But this steak was everything I could have hoped for. I asked for medium rare and that's what I received. And there's no need for anything to touch this steak but your knife and fork. It's simply perfection. The sides are equally as impressive. They easily accommodated my request to put the baked potato accoutrements on the side. Additionally, the Thai green beans were just slightly al dente without being underdone or overbearing on the spice. Overall, the atmosphere is excellent for a business dinner. We had a table for seven in the middle of the restaurant and weren't disturbed at all during the evening. The next time I'm closing up a deal, I'm coming here!!

    Flemings is a reputable steakhouse and this particular Flemings delivers food just barely squeaking in as acceptable for a Flemings. I find this location to be much like the rest of the Greene - resting on its laurels and doing little or absolutely nothing to actually be or stay "the best" in the marketplace. The service also just meets the general Fleming benchmark, but barely. Far from my best steakhouse experience and far down on the bottom of my Flemings experiences in other cities.

    This was our second time eating here. First time was fabulous. This time, not so much. We got the Sunday Prime Rib special (huge price break). Salad came out, my husband's was soaked in dressing. Mine was fine. Prime ribs came out. We had asked for a quick sear on the grill, no problem. But the whole steak itself was ICE COLD, not just under cooked, but to the touch ICE cold. Sent it back to be heated, they took our sides to give us fresh ones (would have liked to eat those while we waited). Same steaks came back, still a little cold, mainly the fat, which was weird. Very uneven temperatures thru out, icy & warm, but no hot. Our same sides came back, too(our bites were missing). Not even heated up as much as first served. We were very surprised to get back all our original food. The steaks were very fatty for being pre-trimmed. I missed my favorite part, the little outer 1 inch section. They offered fresh steaks, but by then, we lost our taste for it. Service was friendly, she tried to make things right, but we left very disappointed with our food for the evening. Update: Aimee, from their management, reached out to me thru a yelp message that I should contact her, so she can hear more about my experience. I emailed her. She never replied. Guess it was an empty sentiment. Very disappointed that she just dropped the ball

    Great dining experience! Just be prepared to pay for how good it is. I've had dinner here twice and both times the food and service was excellent. I got the filet mignon with gorgonzola sauce the first and second time. The meat is succulent and cooked to perfection. I went with the option of glazing it with butter and having it charred the second time, and that turned out to be a good choice. I ordered the diablo shrimp to go along with the steak. Three very large shrimp for $12; expensive but delicious. My dinner companion ordered the special that night, which came with a filet mignon with more of a ginger/lemon glaze. It was good too, but I preferred my gorgonzola. She also got a full tail of lobster and her own personal bowl of butter, heated with a flame. I actually preferred the lobster tail to my shrimp, and it was about the same price. The two waiters I've had have been cordial, knowledgeable, and seemed pretty happy to be at work, so no complaints there. I got extra bread and butter both times upon request. The bread, by the way, is a meal all unto itself, so be careful not to get distracted.

    I decided to head out for the best steak in Dayton. I had been to the Grubb and Pine Club and both just mediocre in my steak tastings so I thought I would give Fleming's a try. My final bill totaled $98.41 for just me including wine and appetizers which I will go into. I entered the restaurant and walked up to the hostess desk and said one for dinner. With a tone that resembled "we are booked and wish you to go elsewhere" she proceeded to tell me (at 7:30pm) that the house was totally booked and the earliest would be 9:30. Why do they say it in such a way as to push you away? If I didn't want to wait I would tell her no thank you, or if I chose to then what is it any business of hers? Anyway, she proceeded to tell me that I could go to the bar and it was first come first serve seating. I went ahead and asked if she could take my name anyway and she did again with the same attitude. I walked into the bar and low and behold a booth had just cleared so I sat down immediately and nodding to the hostess I was sitting there so she could remove my name from the wait. Now on to dinner.... I began with a glass of wine, looking for a 2007 Cabernet, I chose a Trefethen from California. It was not bad. I also ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna which came out with a wonderful portion. It was served with a mustard sauce that made wasabi taste like mayonnaise but it was tasty if used slightly. What I found funny was it was also served with a side of wasabi. Wow, anyone adding wasabi to that mustard likes it HOT HOT HOT. After the tuna, I went to a Fleming's Salad. This was their house salad with candied walnuts and cranraisins and a slightly sweet vinaigrette. It was missing some blue cheese or Gorgonzola but none the less it was good. I then got one of the special filet steaks cooked medium rare. It was served with a nice sauce and three spears of asparagus. By the way, everything here is a la cart which is not my favorite way to dine. I also then ordered a 2007 Chateau Montelena Cabernet which I knew would be exceptional and also $21.00 a glass but I was willing to go for it. The steak came perfectly cooked along with the glass of wine. Together the flavor was very good. I will have to say that the filet was not the best filet I have had nor the most tender. Overall it was tasty but not the best. I did not proceed to dessert but the meal all in all was good. I would have rather gone down to Cincinnati to the Precinct where the steak is always a WOW experience and the meal is NOT a la cart and you get a very nice meal for less than what I paid for this total meal. I must say that my server was very friendly and attentive. Overall for me I would give this experience a B-.

    Great service. I had one of the best fillets in a long time. Perfectly done 'medium plus'. Filet Mignon with crusted porcine and Gorgonzola. So-o-o good. It melted in your mouth. Then followed with the most scrumptious chocolate turtle caramel pie I have ever had (and I eat in restaurants all across the country!!). Pricey and everything is Ala carte but great steak. Will be returning again soon.

    Maybe I expect more from Flemings (like I would Ruth's Chris or Morton's), but I was not blown away. It was just satisfactory, but I want more than that for the price. I had the filet medallion small plate and the heirloom tomato and burrata salad. I did enjoy the suggested 3-wine flight they were offering, as it paired well with salad, entrée, and dessert. I had their dessert special, Pecan Tart, and it was the best part of the meal!

    Fleming's is a bit out of my price range, but is my "Special Occasion" place. I went with a group of girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. I can't wait for another birthday so I can go again!!! Nice atmosphere, great service and the food........ mmmmm! I got the special for the night which was a surf and turf Lobster with Filet. I have never had a more perfectly cooked meal. The steak melted in my mouth. All of us ordered a different side and shared so we could experience all of them. I can't remember any of them being bad. After paying I was presented with a $25 gift certificate and a box of chocolate truffles to thank us for celebrating there.

    If you enjoy cocktails (the fruity kind) order a Farmer's Daughter (they make a low cal version of this). You won't regret it. Also you must get the Flemmings Potatoes. They are a must. This is a great venue for a special occasion and if you make a reservation in advance and note the special occasion the staff will take care of you and make your night even more special. We went out for our anniversary and were treated to a $25 gift card to return and truffles (DELISH). The steaks were prepared perfectly and the service was great. Worth every penny.

    Went here for a business dinner... you literally could not pay me to return. I'm so glad I didn't have to pay for my food here because I would be thoroughly pissed off if I did. I knew something wasn't quite right when the waiter forced me to submit my dinner order within 20 seconds (no joke) of sitting down despite it being a half hour before the speeches started. Can't say I've encountered in your face rudeness on that level at a place like this before... FINE whatever give me the steak option. Hit me with your best shot classy steakhouse I'm hungry! The food itself was disgustingly bad. Stale cold tasteless dinner rolls. Massive chunks of fat everywhere in my steak... nearly 70% was inedible. Are you sure you're a top notch steakhouse? TGI Fridays does steak better than this. The mashed potatoes taste like someone put a couple cigarettes out in them before serving (served cold I might add) just absolutely gross couldn't stomach more than a spoonful. I didn't dare try anything else on the table at that point and decided to stick to my wine and choked down one more tasteless roll because I was starving. I really can't understand how people go here and pay top $$$ for this dreck. You'd have to be crazy. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else in the Greene to eat. Seriously folks you have plenty of good options right around you. McCormick & Schmick, Pints & Pies, Cheesecake Factory... Save yourselves!

    Classy ambience, fabulous cocktails, and delicious appetizers. I came here with a friend on Friday evening during their happy hour. We got there early enough to find a seat by the bar right away. We started off with some of their mixed drinks, I had the Blueberry Lemon drop (slightly more fruity then I would have liked it to taste but not all that bad) followed by a Farmer's Daughter, consisted of Vodka, fresh basil, and strawberry citrus flavor! Now that one was just Perfect! My friend had the Tito's Fresh mint Lemon drop, which also tasted good! Just the right touch of zesty flavor, very refreshing! Next we moved on to their wine menu, a huge selection all found on an IPad! I had asked our waitress for a recommendation of a Cabernet and enjoyed every drop to the end! With our drinks we enjoyed the Seared AHI Tuna, and their Colossal Shrimp Skewers, both exceptional tasting! We definitely plan on coming back here again and enjoying a full dinner!

    This is the best steakhouse in Dayton. We went for my birthday and the food and service (Richard was our waiter) were exceptional. Fun atmosphere, great bar, perfect lighting. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the 2 sides - potatoes with jalapenos and sauteed spinach - were fabulous. The wine that Richard suggested was a perfect match as well. This was our third time here and we have never been disappointed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

    I want to start this review off with a short rant about my opinion of restaurants of this type and some of the clueless people who go there. I am in no way a snob, but I feel that a big part of the fine dining experience is the atmosphere. The great food is important too, but you can get that at less expensive places. Outback has good steaks and we enjoy going there and similar places regularly. Flemings, however, is the type of restaurant that we reserve for special occasions and we expect it to feel special. Flemings does a fantastic job of achieving this, but some of the clientele don't seem to get it. I am a pretty casual person on a daily basis, but if I want to go out to celebrate, I expect to enjoy the entire experience. I think the majority of people have enough sense to dress appropriately, but there are some that really surprised me. There was a couple seated close to us last night and the husband was not even wearing clean clothes, let alone "proper" attire. Ripped, dirty jeans and an old tee shirt. He really took casual to the extreme and if I were the manager of that restaurant, I would have refused him service. I overheard that he and his wife were celebrating their anniversary even - unbelievable! The other surprising guests were a family - also dressed like they were going to Denny's - with their young children. WTH? Flemings is not a family restaurant. Children cannot possibly appreciate a fine dining experience and do not belong in this type of restaurant - PERIOD. For crying out loud people, if you can afford Flemings, you can afford a babysitter! Take the kids to McDonalds - I'm sure they would love that more. Enough of my ranting and on to my review... My husband took me to Flemings for my 50th birthday. Steak is my favorite food - I order it almost every time we go out - and I have to say this was the best steak I've EVER had in my life. I had the bone-in ribeye and it was melt in your mouth delicious. My husband ordered the fillet mignon and it was really good too. We also really loved the chipotle macaroni and cheese and the Flemings potatoes. The sides are huge, so they are enough to share, but we each ordered two sides for leftovers. Since we were celebrating a special occasion, they gave me my choice of complimentary desert. I picked cheesecake with blueberry sauce and it was very good. They also gave us a $25 gift card to come back - unfortunately it expires in about six weeks so we can't really save it for the next special occasion. As for the price, it is definitely expensive, so we will only go on very special occasions. Overall, it was a great experience with great food and we will definitely be back.

    Fleming's is one of the national chains of top flight steakhouses. Some people prefer Ruth's Chris. Some prefer Morton's. Some say Smith and Wollensky is the best. But if you live in Dayton, your only choice in town is Fleming's. I have eaten at three different Fleming's locations and they do a good job of maintaining quality across their restaurants, so if you have eaten at one somewhere else you will not be disappointed by the Dayton location. For me one of their nicest features is the wine flight which allows you to sample up to three different wines with your meal. Each pour is about a third of a regular glass and they are priced accordingly. This also has the advantage of allowing one to sample a more expensive wine. I find that the higher priced bottles are actually a better deal. You'll pay $8 for a glass of a wine that retails for $15, but you'll pay $18 for a glass of a wine that retails for $55, so there's actually less of a mark up on the expensive wine. The service has always been excellent and there is complimentary valet parking. Fleming's also features one of the best kept secrets in Dayton: awesome hamburgers at reasonable prices. During their happy hour you can have what I easily consider the best burger I've ever eaten for $6 with french fries. Two beers are only an additional $6. $12 plus tip for a meal and two drinks is reasonable for dinner anywhere and especially at a place like Fleming's.

    They have Blue Cheese stuffed olives for martini's!! We had the pork belly appetizer and wow...I could have eaten a larger portion as a meal with a side of creamed spinach. The entree was delicious, perfectly cooked. I got the porcini rubbed filet mignon, which our waitress recommended. It was an excellent choice. I will definitely try Flemming's again near my home in NJ.

    Screw you Fleming's! You freaking have PRIME in your name and you have the audacity to serve me a rib eye steak that was not USDA PRIME. I tasted the freaking USDA CHOICE in the steak in every single bite. What makes you think you can serve such inferior steak to me? You thought I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a plain steak and one that's supposed to be well marbelized with juice and succulent veins of fat? Jerks. If I'd known I could make a better steak at home with USDA PRIME steaks purchased at COSTCO, I would have never dropped 45 bones for the lame steak.

    My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. When we did the online reservation there was a box for "reason for visit" and we put "birthday". From the MOMENT we walked in we had a pleasant experience, from the valet, to getting greeted, everyone seemed to know it was my birthday and made sure to wish me a happy one. :) We were seated in a cozy booth, and got our drinks. First off, BEST COSMO EVER. And my boyfriend loved his jamies and coke. Our waittress was super friendly and was so knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. My honey got the pork chop which I tasted and was TO DIE FOR. It was so moist and tender and full of flavor, I almost wanted to send my steak back and get that instead. However, my steak was quite tasty as well ;) Not the BEST I've had...but quite good. At the end of dinner our waitress gave be a small box of chocolate truffles and a $25 gift card to return on our next visit. Such a nice touch! A bit too pricey for non special occasions, but for service like that you bet I'll be returning when I get the chance. Thanks for making it a great birthday guys!

    Great happy hour menu, and a delicious drink selection. I like the atmosphere - it's very dark and well-decorated. HORRIBLE service at the bar last Saturday. The bartender, while he made the martinis to spec and seemed to know his stuff, was mostly occupied talking to a couple seated at the end of the bar, without any regard to us, the only other two customers there at the time. Every drink sat empty and wasn't filled until we flagged him down (it's a small bar and this was 5:30). We were going to stay and have dinner, but with the crappy service, we left and went elsewhere instead. Too bad. We can get good food with bad service many other places in the area for less $.

    My wife and I went here for our anniversary last night and all I can say is WOW. The service was superior, our waitresses name was Alison and she was more than helpful and was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu and the wine. The steaks were perfect and the Caesar salad is a must if you enjoy them. I have been around the world in the military and I have never had that perfect of a meal. More than 5 stars if I could.

    Hands down, Dayton's best steakhouse. Service is always impeccable. Steaks cooked to perfection. Fantastic sides. Great desserts. Great wine list (although I bring my own.) Love the ambiance. Do wish they would require at least slacks and a sport coat for men, though. Part of the atmosphere is the patrons around you, and you shouldn't feel like you are dining with people who are dressed more appropriately for a Waffle House. Still, one of my three favs in Dayton.

    I've been to Fleming's twice. Everything inside is very clean and very clean and well decorated. Note, I wasn't there for an occasion that required me to be dressed up so I wore jeans and I noticed that I wasn't the only one. However, there were some people who were really dressed up, so dress up if you like but business casual is ok too. Beyond the décor, the food and wine are some of the best I've ever had. I've only had better steaks at the Golden Steer in Las Vegas. It is because of the Steer and Flemings that I can't bring myself to order a steak at your run of the mill place. I'd suggest the Flemings potatoes as well. In the end I don't think there is a better steak place in the Dayton region. If there is, let me know because I want to check it out.

    Our server was courteous and very knowledgeable concerning the menu. We both got ribeyes, which were decent, but certainly not anywhere near $50 decent. We got the Flemings potatoes, which were awesome, but paid $8 for a simple side dish. I would recommend this place for an extremely important occasion, and only if you are prepared to drop around $200. Great service, good food, not worth the ticket. Go to your butcher get a prime steak, buy your own bottle of wine, and do it at your house for 10% of the cost.

    great seafood appetizers. main course was filet mignon but it was overcooked. I ordered it medium, was done more on the well side. would prefer mine a little more pink.. plenty of side dishes...enough to share with the party. one side can be shared between 2 people. parking is terrible. in the middle of a busy shoppng center and other restaurants. had to park quite a distance from the restaurant. also they ran out of a certain wine that a member of the party ordered. apparetnyl it has happened 2 times before.....maybe they should stock more of it.....

    I took my grandparents here for their wedding anniversary and it was one of the best meals I have had in awhile. I got the fillet, my grandpa got the porterhouse and my grandma got the surf and turf. We also enjoyed the flemmings potatoes, asparagus and a bottle of Silver Oak. They did have to take my steak back once as I asked for medium and it came out pretty rare but when the manager returned with it they had cooked it to perfection. The wait staff was fantastic and at the end of dinner the waitress brought out some truffles as a gift to my grandparents. We also had the creme brulee and turtle cake which was amazing. We had a great experience and would go back again.

    Fantastic steak! Great value in my opinion, compared to other high-end steakhouses.. The filet was one of the best I've eaten for a while. And the wine list was very good, with many of the wines served by the glass. Also, we brought our 10 year old daughter, who loves steak, and the children's meal with steak was perfect, and just $15! This will be our new go- to steak house for entertaining or a dinner out.

    Flemings is a nice steak house with good food and decent service. This place would receive four stars, but loses a star because they forgot to put in my order. This would not be a huge deal except the following: 1. I am nine months pregnant, and you don't forget my food and then make me watch my husband eat. 2. I never received an explanation of why this happened. 3. No one ever apologized for forgetting. This makes me sad, because the food was good, and other then forgetting my order the service was too. I hope to go back and give Fleming's another chance, because I think they can do better.

    This was my second trip to Flemings for a birthday celebration which indicates I like the place. But what a difference a year makes. This year, Flemings has joined the tech revolution that many restaurants are embracing and the wine selection was on an ipad. Our server was Zach and he was great. I started the evening with a cosmo. I have become a self-proclaimed connoisseur of cosmos in the Dayton area and Flemings makes one of the best I have had. Continuing on the subject of alcohol, I am usually not at a loss when choosing a wine but we were not getting a bottle, just a glass, I asked for his recommendation for a Cabernet and was not disappointed. I chose the house salad but substituted the dressing and also took his recommendation for a special of the night again with a vegetable substitution. My dessert came with a candle on it in honor of my birthday. I was also given the box of chocolates and gift certificate worth $25.00 that I remember receiving last year as well. The place gets a little noisy with the bar basically occupying the same room. The overall atmosphere is very nice and classically dark. I am still in search of a place with great food, atmosphere and a dress code that requires at lease coat and tie for men and women wear dresses when you are dropping this amount of money for dinner. I just consider it part of the package that distinguishes a four star from a five star restaurant in my opinion.

    I and other associates, have used Aimee's organization numerous times. Not once has it failed to be a good experience. It is apparent that Aimee has trained her Management team and staff to be client focused and service driven. As a business person you do not need to be concerned with a Client meeting at her restaurant. As a personal patron the experience is relaxing, quite, personal, even intimate. Her facility always has the appearance of fresh and clean unlike too many Dining experiences now days who just let facility appearance be the last thought. An artistic plated entre can so diminished by a mediocre dining facility. Lastly, her staff has consistently been courteous, attentive, yet gives space when in discussions. Again it is apparent that Aimee and her team have trained staff well in these finer points of Fine Dining.

    wonderful experience. great food, great service, beautiful ambience. my family and i really enjoyed our meal here. sort of a princess from LA so Dayton was a bit of a shocker for me... but i'm so happy to have found a familiar upscale steakhouse here! love it.

    Very nice upscale restaurant at the Greene. I've only had a full dinner there once, but I was very happy with my filet mignon. What is really nice about the place is their happy hour. They have a $6 happy hour menu that includes an awesome burger, a tuna app, and martinis. Definitely a good place for an after work drink and bite.

    Fleming's are always a good bet. If you want to go to some spiffy chain steak house, you can't go wrong with either fleming's or ruth chris...or mastro's (but mastro's a bit more pricey). Anyways came here on my visit to ohio...in a way to celebrate my bro's first real job in 4 years. He had ny strip and i had the bone in rib eye. both are very very good. the sides were great. diet coke was, as always is, AMAZING. and the service was impeccable. thumbs up!

    An absolute atrocity when it comes to fine dining. The food is average, and way overpriced for that rating. My wife and I asked for a recommendation on a nice bottle of wine, which the waiter did, then commented that it was "excellent", with a price tag of $125.00 mind you. Lesson learned, he brought the bottle to our table, opened it and poured it. It tasted as good as any 10.00 bottle I've had. So I used my iPhone App to scan the barcode. You could purchase this bottle of Argyle anywhere in the Dayton area for 17.00. Now, I do expect a bottle to be marked up at least double, maybe even triple on a stretch, but over 100%? Really? When brought to the attention of our waiter, he "had to go check" as he could tell I was not happy. Meanwhile, while he was "checking" the Manager wandered by and ask how dinner was. So, I brought up the price of the wine. He informed me that they had to mark it up that way because they order so much of it and sometimes a bottle only gets opened for one glass and then goes to waste! I asked him to please excuse himself from our table as I did not want to hear such lame excuses. The waiter returned later an stated the reason was "we marked it incorrectly, it was actually mixed up with a different bottle of wine". So our cost would now only be 72.00. We contacted someone from their corporate office, whose reply was almost as lame as the Manager. It was to the tune of "Things are often marked up not by their quality, but because of the dining experience that you get at Fleming's", and she would be happy to waive the cork fee they charge if we would like to bring our own bottle on our next visit. I informed her their would be no next visit! If you think your going upscale for a nice dinner, think again. I can only laugh that they are doing any business at all.

    first time at this restaurant, and we were impressed. Food was delicious, their steaks are prime (top of the line), service was very good and overall it was a good experience. It is expensive, but the food was worth the price we paid. I recommend this place if you are looking for a treat, and dont mind spending the extra dollar.

    I am not a fan of chain restaurants, but Flemings is an exception. Their staff members are very professional and hospitable. The steaks are perfectly prepared and they are willing to accommodate any preferences, of course for a price. The wine list is extensive and the cocktails are great. I only wish they had grass fed or lifetime free hormones and antibiotics options. They did not advertise this as an option on the menu and so for that reason, I probably will continue to by my steaks at DLM as they are lifetime free and grassfed and just grill them out. It is actually cheaper. However, if we are not in the mood to cook and the Pine club is closed, we will consider this restaurant again.

    i don't understand why this place has such great reviews. i ordered a $53 steak and i had to spit most of it out. if i had been in different company i would have made a big deal about it and left - i am so happy i did not pay for that meal. i will not drop that much money for the pretentious facade of this place. i don't know if it's a status kind of place or what, but i can think of 100 better places to get a steak, including the supermarket.

    Some great friends introduced my husband & i to this place! We were sooo impressed with how the staff took care of everything & made us feel incredibly welcomed & special. The service was beyond superb, the food was nothing short of amazing. We are saving this as our special occasion place. Love it!

    Very good steaks served here. The food is excellent as is th service. The baked potato was hot and just right as was the other vegetables and the salad. The price is a little high but the food and service warrant a good price so I cannot complain. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a fine meal.

    We had one horrible experience here and thought we would never be back. I am so glad we were wrong! The first time we went our waiter was more concerned about the breasts on the ladies two tables over than the filet on our plates. He was more disinterested in his job than...well I don't know... I called the manager to let her know and she was extremely apologetic and invited us back. Glad we took her up on that offer. Our two subsequent visits have been incredible. EVERYONE on the wait staff was attentive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. Their interactive wine list is incredible. We are not wine drinkers but seriously contemplated it just to play with the iPad. Alas we stuck to our roots and visited the girlie drink book. All of their drinks were insanely delicious. The Farmer's Daughter was my favorite. Blood orange wasn't bad either. Onto the food...there is nothing I have had here that has ever been bad (other than our first waiter). The filet is delicious and don't forget the bleu cheese potatoes. My +1 loved the peppercorn filet and their signature potatoes. Yum-O. You must cap your meal off with their chocolate lava cake. Double Yum-O. Sadly, there are not many fine dining choices in Dayton. I am very glad Flemings is, though. I promise you will not be disappointed.
