I went here once. Breakfast is good. But the wait on a weekend morning is a nightmare.

The service was good and we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a seat during a crowded lunch hour. I ordered the chicken Palermo and it was very good. The pesto was evenly applied and wasn't overwhelming. The quality of the sandwich was good and my meal was well priced.

Prices were a little high for the size of the portions. Food was good and loved the healthy options. Service was average. Kale juice was fantastic!

Always have great service and food is always good. The wait is sometime long but I don't mine since I know I will get good and service and food.

I've been a regular here for years. I've never had a bad meal and the service is almost always great. Coffee is good as is the tea (iced and hot) is always spot on as well. They are a little too obsessed with avocado for my taste. Their dishes are lighter and don't slow you down as much as other breakfast places. The most fattening thing there is probably the works omelette which is yummy like most fat goods.my kids love the chocolate chip pancakes. The Cajun chicken omelette, chickichanga and their spin on eggs Benedict are all very good. There is usually a wait here on weekend mornings but never longer than they say. Wait on the other side of the restaurant on the handicap ramp. This will allow you to food stalk other people's selections. This will allow you a chance to get a real look at the specials.

Great service, great food, atmosphere. They have a more healthy oriented breakfast menu with some light lunches. It's always a pleasant experience for me and my family when we eat there.

The banana brulee waffles with caramelized bacon topped with......more bacon. I'm not sure if bacon is now considered passe, but I don't care. Top my bacon waffles with bacon!! On a slightly more useful note, the staff is always pleasant, wait times (even on a Sunday) are not too bad, and the price is just right. I like that the menu features more healthy items and also....bacon.

We normally visit the Beavercreek location because it's closer to home. But coming back from Cincinnati a friend and I thought we'd stop by for a quick lunch. The hostess was very nice and seated us quickly. Our waitress was right there to take our drink order and everything was fine. The small problems I had about this visit was a waitress in the kitchen having a bad day and talking to coworkers loudly about her personal life. Then it was about someone she was serving in her section. As we were seated right by the kitchen it was hard to ignore. And my potatoes were very brunt and not up to the usual First Watch standard. I know first world problems in all... Other than that it's still a great place for a bite to eat. Enjoy!

For locals in the area, I believe this is the go-to place for brunch- especially if you're health conscious. I really like their specials, especially the Power Quinoa bowl with roasted chicken, pesto and kale. Considering that this is more of a chain restaurant, I'm quite impressed with their items on the menu, especially how most items are very healthy. The servers are friendly and helpful though there was an instance where it took a long time for our server to realize that she forgot to bring over some juice to the table.

The service has improved since last year. Good food! I enjoy First Watch's omelets. I'm glad I can get an egg white omelet without a hassle. portions are good.

We came here on a sunday around 1:30pm and was surprised to see that they have very limited hours, serving breakfast and lunch only. We were seated promptly and were given menus and drink options almost right away, service here was prompt throughout the visit. The menu was very diverse from reubens, to salads, omelets with avacado, soups, etc indeed there is something here for everyone. The prices are very reasonable, we ordered the turkey club with avacado and bacon for $6.99, it came with home fries, a small salad of diced tomatoes and other other assorted greens, and a small serving of fruit (grapes, melons, etc), lots of food for the money. Everything was very fresh served quickly. We left thoroughly stuffed and satisfied, we're sure to return!

Twice now I have squatted here during inclement Dayton weather. Each time due to an outstanding amount of time to kill between my time here and my looming drive to Lost in Middle America (Lima). Both times they see me enter with my computer, ipod, and book. They know what's up. They know the score. They know a table lurker when they see one, itching to leech off their free wi-fi after they were forced out of their hotel at check out time. Both times here have I seen a sneer, eye roll, or sigh. They bring me my pot of coffee, let me peruse the menu, never rush me. It's a calming experience. From the time I sit down it takes less than 15 minutes to get my food. I experience my NPR podcasts with delicious breakfast food making its way to my stomach. First Watch, you're doing it right.

First Watch is great for their use of fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations. Some of the things they are doing have become much more mainstream (avocado on sandwiches, bean sprouts, etc), but this stuff was groundbreaking in the midwest 10ish years ago when this chain showed up. My favorite is an altered version of the First Watch special Monterey Club (Turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo on multigrain bread). The twist is to ask for a fried egg on the sandwich (similar to what they offer as standard on the BLTE). Also, not sure what is in their house dressing besides sugar and poppy seeds, but I could almost drink it. If you need a refreshing alternative to fast food with sit down service, give First Watch a try. Their are several locations in the Dayton area.

I met a friend for brunch. No wait. I ordered the trifecta and it hit the spot on all levels. Everything is super fresh, the meat is tasty with all the coffee I cared to drink and it was good too.

Fastest service from ordering to "plate on the table" that I've experienced in a long time. Food was good ('tho nothing memorable), service was good (pot of coffee on the table made that easy), the wait for a table was acceptable (10 min). If you cannot find a local establishment, you will get a fine meal here.

Haven't been to First Watch in several years - stopped going as the menu didn't seem to change much and I didn't really think that food was all that fabulous. We had brunch here today with a couple of friends and although the menu hasn't changed too much, we enjoyed it. The wait was about 15 minutes, pretty much exactly what we were told, and the manager and server were both very pleasant and efficient. Everyone enjoyed their food, although I ordered my poached eggs medium and they were about as hard poached as they could be - these things happen. Otherwise, the raisin french toast, florentine eggs benedict, and the mushrooms and eggs were all pretty solid. Overall, a good option if you're ready and willing to wait a bit - but hearing the manager quote someone an 8 minute wait for a table leads me to believe that they have a pretty good handle on things...

back in my columbus, ohio days I used to go here every few weeks. Great breakfast/brunch place, always good food and good service. Order the Trifecta. oh yeah.

We come here mainly for the food, because they are great about customizing options and dishes to meet our allergy and dietary concerns (even watering down the OJ for my son ;) ). The food is always great. The service is usually great as well. We generally do oatmeal or eggs/bacon for my son, and he loves both although the bacon is often way too crispy for him (and me). We ordered the chocolate chip pancakes once during more a of a "celebration" breakfast, and it would have taken two or three kids to eat it! It was HUGE and we took home 3/4 of it. For my meals I generally do the traditional breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes) and sub fruit for toast. However, the fruit has been pretty subpar each time I've had it. The watermelon has actually had a sour taste the last two times and the rest of it wasn't much better. Even my fruit loving kiddo would only eat the grapes. It gets crowded quickly on the weekends and it is always a bit too warm inside, but we try to go early (by 9am or so) to avoid the crush and waiting in line. We generally enjoy the atmosphere and service and it is a much better option than, say, Bob Evans! My only true complaint is that the last two times we have been there, I have watched the (I assume, based on all black chef uniform vs the others) head chef actually answer the phone and use the POS machine (that everyone is using, servers etc) with his gloves on and go right back to preparing food. I hate gloves for this reason (it makes people FEEL like they are "clean" so they forget: you need to change them as often as you'd wash your hands in a kitchen which is OFTEN, and especially any time you touch something like a phone etc). Overall we will continue to enjoy our casual weekend breakfasts here!!

Very safe bet. I remember first watch from my days traveling to Columbus. I had good memories so was excited to come upon one. It's kind of like a diner, they server breakfast items until the close at 3, along with wraps, salads, soups and burgers/sandwiches. They offer a wide variety of omelet options ranging from heavy (loaded with meat and cheese) to healthy (egg whites, avocado, veggies). I am a fan of their coffee and home fries. My only complaint is the omelets are not incorporated, which leads to the "egg taco" causing ingredients to fall out. Just a preference of mine, still enjoyable though. I like to hit First Watch for lunch, I always leave happy.

Great place for brunch and lunch. My co-workers have me hooked on First Watch as we use to order it out frequently. They have some of the best lunch food especially there sandwiches. The Cheese to the 5th Degree is probably the best grilled cheese I have ever had. You also get with every sandwich a side salad, fruit cup, and delicious First Watch potatoes. Now for breakfast the pancakes are to die for! They are big and fluffy. The chocolate chip are the best they just melt in your mouth. If you are going to actually go to First Watch be careful on the weekends because they can get packed past 11am. We also go early so we can beat the crowds. I have never received bad service here. The waiters are very nice and helpful. Usually ringing out customers and seating them is Chris the manager who is very nice and kind. He does everything in his power to give you a great meal. If you have never been do yourself a favor and try it you will not be sorry.

Decent spot for breakfast or lunch, but it's pretty ridiculous that a place that bills itself as a bit more gourmet than your typical greasy spoon doesn't offer alternative dairy products. A little soy, almond, or rice milk for the coffee would be great. The Bacado omelette is my favorite thing. The sandwiches and soups are decent but unremarkable. I'd stick to the breakfast offerings.
