Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I have a local business which several of the whole new staff that have reinvented this restaurant stop in at. They've insisted I stop by and try the food and drink. WHY did I wait so long? Excellent food which is quickly brought out. Margaritas were fantastic and there was a unique a fruity dip for the appetizer chips that accompanied the traditional salsa that was terrific. There was originally two of us who were hungry so we let our eyes outvote our stomachs and ordered a grand nachos with beef. This was not a appetizer it was a meal. The beef was flavored and spiced perfectly. A friend of ours called while we were enjoying our nachos so we told her we would order for here and for her to jump in her car and get up here. My chimichanga deep fried with chicken was and will be one of my more memorable Mexican dishes The atmosphere is so neat we spent a hour drinking and socializing afterwards

Waited an hour for a waiter to take our food order. We gave up and just walked out. First time in my 40 years that I felt obligated to do that after getting such bad service! I recommend avoiding this place if you actually want to eat something.

Delicious! They have a lot of great sauces and we have never had a bad meal here. New managers and huge draft deals.

The service was really slow, the food was really bland and not memorable. About the only good thing was the salsa. The atmosphere inside was a color mash up that didn't make sense with pink walls and red seats. It was so dead, it was eerie. Refried beans were super thick and pasty. We got a coupon from double take and took a chance. The sopapillas were only fried corn chips with cinnamon (no sugar) a couple drips of chocolate sauce and a squirt of whipped cream. So disappointed it's not even worth my time to review. But wanted to warn others. We definitely won't be back.

Visiting this restaurant based on other reviews, and we certainly must have missed the boat. Dined on a weekday at 2pm, were the only customers in the restaurant. Saw one employee who took our order, brought greasy chips, and the burrito I ordered was not as described on the menu so obviously the cook didn't know what comes with what. My companion paid $14 for fajitas that were minimal compared to El Toro or other great restaurants in the area. Place seemed dirty as well. Will not be back.
