One of the better regional chain pizza restaurant in central Ohio. The Marinara sauce has a sweet taste to it. The sweetness to the sauce could be a bit much for a refined pizza cuisine. However, for a chain pizza joint is one of the better ones out there. The customer service for the Grandview chain is reliable. Take out only at this place. Which kinda sucks if you don't live near this one, because by the time one gets home , pizza can be less than warm by then.

It's hard to make a bad pizza. This place is not the best. Would probably prefer dominoes.

Had a buy one get one free coupon and got the veggie deluxe and the margarita. The sweet sauce went terribly with the veggie delux, hardly any spices in it. And the margarita pizza was not at all a margarita pizza. It was this mass of super sweet sauce dotted with bits of mozzarella and a swirly design of pesto over that. It looked really tacky. These pizzas are priced like Mama MiMi's (gourmet), probably more expensive really. I would rate both pizzas mediocre in terms of taste, but for $18 a piece, they should have been fu**ing awesome. The large pizzas look more like mediums to me. Thank god we at least had the bogo coupon. The staff were all very nice and they are not the problem with this place.

This pizza is pretty good! I've tried it twice, I thought I loved it but for some reason I just don't love it. It could be because the sauce is sweeter than I prefer, I just easily tired of it. I tried the buffalo chicken pizza and added onions and was pretty impressed! I also had Dante's Peak add black olives. I ended up liking the buffalo chicken better than the Dante's Peak. I felt like the sausages were big and spicy and had an overwhelming flavor, which is appealing to some people. More for you as for next time, I'll do without those. Plenty of toppings! If you love toppings and sweet sauce then this is for you. I just can't handle that sweet red sauce after the first piece, especially mixed with the spicy sausage pieces... I honestly don't think I'll get this again. I liked it a lot, but didn't love it like I hoped. The people were nice enough, if not a bit lazy-looking. One girl was biting her nails, but she wasn't the one making food (at least that I saw). The guy working there that looked like the manager seemed eager to please and was very, very kind. If I ordered from here again I'd probably go with a "less-is-more" tactic that I enjoyed a bit more on my first visit where I had a decent pepperoni and black olive pizza. Don't knock the buffalo chicken, I would recommend trying it! I have a feeling that this is a place that, while I don't care for it so much, deserves some recognition that a lot of people will probably really enjoy it! I've tried LaRosa's and love their sauce way more. Not sure what the difference is, I'm just not a big fan of Romeo's sauce.

I just wanted to add we recently tried the margarita and it is great! The pesto swirl is attractive and tasty. If you're thinking about trying this one go for it.

Love the delivery guy who delivered my food. He was funny and sweet and you could tell he genuinely loves his job. He gave me tons of coupons and these scratch off tickets that revealed that I won two free pizzas! How awesome is that? I ordered the garlic bread with cheese and the New York white pizza. I was born and grew up in New York so when it comes to pizza, I'm pretty picky. The garlic bread with cheese is so good. It was cheap and they give you quite a lot. The New York white pizza was also delicious. I dipped it in the sauce they gave with the garlic bread and oh my god. I've never tasted sauce like this before from a pizza place. It's definitely sweet but since I have the biggest sweet tooth, I actually loved it. It's awesome with the savory pizza. It's something different and it's something that works. The dough they use for the pizza is awesome as well as these cheeses they used for this particular pizza. White pizza is my favorite kind of pizza and this was definitely a top contender. I took a star off just because I ordered the small pizza which obviously was pretty small like a personal size and it was over 10 bucks which I think is a little pricey for such a small pizza. Still, everything tasted great so I will definitely be ordering from here again!

It has been about a year since I've had Romeo's Pizza. It didn't leave much of an impression, but I wanted to give it a second try at the Grandview location. Their website is has a very nice design, but online ordering is only available at 10 or so locations; Grandview wasn't one of them. This is a progressive city, no? My telephone service was prompt and courtesy. The young man did a fine job. My in-store pickup service left something to be desired. The store had just closed and there were 3 employees at the front registers. It took a few minutes for the young lady to greet me and grab my name. Then she took my card, passed it to another guy who seemed less than thrilled to be there, and gave me my receipt to sign. Now sometimes I leave a tip even if I pickup my food, but this time I opted out because of how things were going. After I signed and returned the slip to the young lady she looked at it and looked at me as though she was disappointed I didn't leave anything. It rubbed me the wrong way. My order consisted of mozz sticks and a medium pepperoni and cheese pizza. The total came to just over $17.00. Over priced much? You're not using fresh local ingredients, what gives? The sticks were amazing, but avoid the dipping sauce. It's the same sauce that's used on the pizza, which tasted like a can of watery, diced tomatoes had just been dumped atop. It was absolutely awful. Sauce aside, the pizza just wasn't up to par with other parlors in the area. The crust was blackened, the dough was thick, chewy, and flavorless, the cheese tasted like the typical processed bulk cheese and there was so much "sauce" that the cheese didn't cover the pizza. The only thing it had going for it was the pepperoni. Given the state of service and my distain for a cheaply made, over-priced pizza, I'm giving this place two stars. One for the sticks and one for the hope that their other apps are just as good.

Tried this place yesterday and had a HORRIBLE experience - never going there again. We placed an order about 5 pm and were told to expect it delivered by 6 pm. 7:15 pm rolled around, no call, we called back; basically got told that we never ordered. We tried to be forgiving, these things happen, so we ordered again and went to pick it up. The manager checked our pizza, "apologized" to us, and we left. Got home and the pizza has the sauce on top of the toppings??!?!? WTF? Pretty sure we got intentionally screwed by someone who wasn't happy that we weren't perfect easy customers. Not to mention the sauce is weird and overly sweet and the rest of the pizza wasn't anything special.

I'm still kinda on the fence when it comes to Romeo's. I don't mind the sweet marinara sauce - it's very similar to La Rosa's down in Cincinnati and I like that. I guess I'm just not sold on the overall package. Something about it demands it needs to be eaten several more times before I make my final decision though.

Really like the sauce, though it is a little sweeter than most. Traditional crust is pretty much my ideal. Love the dipping sauce for the pizza (though I can't put my finger on describing it). Cheese tends to fall apart a little, and little light on the pepperoni, but totally delicious.

Obviously not everyone enjoys a sweeter sauce. But I do and to me Romeo's sweet sauce is THE BEST. They have several "specialty pizzas" that have different sauces as well. Price? I think for a pizza at a comparable parlor, you'll spend more! They also have a rewards program that earns you points on every purchase which can be redeemed for free pizza. I mean, this place is no Little Skeezers $5 hot & ready... But thank god! Service is some of the best. I've been to several locations and EVERY person I've dealt with was fantastic. Delivery is always hot & fresh & almost always early. I honestly love this place!

Totally messed up our pizza order. The wings, onion rings and stromboli were really really good. I repeated the pizza order but they sent us a pizza with extra sauce instead of extra cheese. The sause was pooled up on the top of the pizza a quarter of an inch thick. We wiped the extra sauce off several slices and my sink looked like a murder scene. The extra sauced saturated the rest of the pizza and ruined it. I didn't bother complaining, just not ordering from here again.

Terrible pizza, sauce sweet. Dough not baked long enough, was damp and chewy. Kicker was finding two 5" hairs in our pizza. Done with this place....it was BELOW average even before we found the hairs.

I can't remember the last time I tasted a pizza and thought to myself "I never want to eat that again." Well, I never want to eat Romeo's Pizza again. Our experience didn't get off to a good start. The boy called to make the order & the person answering the phone had no clue what to do. He said it was the first order he'd ever taken. Needless to say, we checked our pizzas before we left the parking lot to make sure they were correct (and they were). As soon as I got into the car with the pizzas the boy remarked how sweet they smelled, was I sure we didn't get some kind of dessert pizza. I must state that my pizza looked disgusting. I ordered cheese with ground beef. I have ordered it before at many pizza places - Grandad's, Panzera's, Papa Johns, Larosas (Cincinnati), etc. Never have I seen a ground beef pizza like this. My "ground beef" looked like rabbit pellets. Yes, it looked like a rabbit relieved himself on my pizza. Obviously after seeing my pizza, I was incredibly hungry (or not). I decided to eat it though and ignore the pellets. My first bite wasn't quite as bad as my first look, but it still wasn't good. The sweet aroma coming from the pizzas was the ultra-sugary sauce. Now I've had some sugary tasting sauces before (Larosa's), but this was too much and just downright bad. The boy wasn't too pleased with his supreme pizza, but none of his toppings looked like pellets. I'd never had Romeo's before this and definitely never will again. There are too many good pizza places in Grandview to give Romeo's your hard-earned money. Stay away!

A pretty good pizza. Wish the sauce wasn't so sweet. If it had a little more spice, the rating would have been higher. But the cheese, pepperoni, and crust were perfect! A little pricey, but I'll be back when I'm in the area.

Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
