While this chain is known by some as the poorer brother of a wider known chain of this style of food it's the little differences that get me through the doors here. The usual cafeteria style service here as you build your meal along the counter and it all depends on people that know what they are serving in places like this. The folks building my burrito were quick and helpful in explaining my options here. I love that they offer choices of heated sauces like ancho chile bbq and mild and spicy queso. Plus a nice selection of fresh salsas from mild to painful and sweat inducing that will fit most tastes round out almost anything you can create here. And it's bonus time here since they don't charge for extras like guacamole and are willing to customize if you want more or less of something without instantly being upcharged for it. I scored my big 'ol grilled chicken burrito and scuttered to a table in the large, clean and well lit dining area. During my visit they seemed to keep the dining area and drink station well maintained which is always worth an extra star from me in these places. My choices turned out to be one delicious, well rolled burrito and added this location to another place I'll visit again soon in my neck of the woods.

I haven't been to Qdoba in awhile but woke up craving their medium queso for some reason. It's just as yummy as I remembered! I'm low-carbing it these days so I grabbed a chicken taco salad in a bowl. Normally I'd never put queso on a taco salad but, call it Divine Inspiration if you will, today I did and it was pretty freaking incredible. Every bite was like a hug for my mouth. Nothing like smashing a craving, eh? I started to only give them 4 stars because they're not Moe's Southwest Grill. That's not really fair to judge them against perfection though, is it?

I enjoy this Qdoba as it provides a nice alternative to Chipotle. My wife loves Chipotle while I enjoy a queso option on my burrito. Our happy alternative is Qdoba even though we are rarely in the area for it. This is a great fast casual place for kids as it rarely has a ton of other people in it. My little ones can get a little loud without me worrying about disturbing the whole place. My only complaint is that this place can be a little slow in service. Most of the service i get here is good but I remember a few times where the one worker was slow and prolonged one or two of our dishes. Also their diablo sauce isn't very hot which was disappointing to me. I would go here more if it was near my house.

Stopped in yesterday to check out the new jalapeno/bacon queso that was announced last week. It was everything I expected and more! I went with the standard chicken burrito bowl with rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, cheese, and guacamole. Delicious how all of the flavors blend together. Everything tastes so fresh. I got an order of chips to go with my queso. I was pleasantly surprised to find it had good sized chunks of bacon along with the spice from the other peppers. HEAVENLY for bacon and cheese fanatics like myself! The original queso was fantastic enough but Qdoba has really outdone themselves with the addition of the Diablo(spicy) and now the bacon versions. I was sad that they took the Ancho-Chile BBQ sauce off of the menu but I was comforted by the fact that they had a few new sauces for the smothered burritos. If you are a regular like myself get a rewards card that you scan and earn points towards free food:)

I've been coming to this particular Q'doba for years, and at one point the manager knew me by name. I haven't been able to get back there in quite a while, but I'm fixing that this afternoon when I go pay a Macy's bill. I have seen people compare this spot to another chain, and that really isn't fair. The Other chain is famous for its burritos and pretty much that's it. they have nothing else on the menu other than tacos, and bowls. You CAN get a quesadilla, but put anything other than meat and cheese on it they charge you for a burrito. No. No way in hell. That being said, I always get my standard here, a chicken quesadilla with just about everything under the sun. Then they throw in a salad (lettuce and guac, but oooooh the guac is better than excellent!) and don't uncharge you for it. Add in a side of chips and queso and you've got a mean fit for a prince. And a sum that won't break your bank. Bravo, Q'doba! Well done!!

I've eaten here three times, I think, and each time I hope that it will get better. Like maybe that day the person seasoning the chicken forgot to add something. Nope, the food could be seasoned a lot better, and when you walk in (there is never anyone in line) the people behind the glass stare at you with no greeting until you reach the counter. According to the other reviews, its not just me. Good to know. I'll risk injury crossing the street to get to Chipotle for my next burrito craving.

Not impressed The total bill was $17.44, WOW!!! for 2 subpar salads, chips & salsa. Our FIRST visit to Qdoba, My wife & I were not impressed, and we would not recommend this restaurant. We visited during peak dinner time and there was only a couple people in the restaurant, I should have known better and just walked back out but we decided to try it anyway. I checked Yelp later and found this location has only 2.5 stars. We both ordered the Chicken Taco Salad -It was not very tasty. and the Chips & Salsa (chips were nice with a hint of lime, but the salsa was not very fresh) The chicken was not flavorful and didn't seem fresh (like reheated leftovers) the black beans were bland, the whole salad was a disappointment. In addition only certain toppings are included. It would cost extra to add vegetables?? We had 2 salads, chips & Salsa & 2 waters. No tray was provided so we had to make several trips to get all of our items to a table.

I discovered a new vegan combo: tortilla soup poured over a burrito, smothered burrito style. I didn't like any of the sauce options they offered for the smothered burritos so I poured soup over mine.. DELISH. It would also probably make a good salad dressing, but the bowl would get too soggy. Still my favorite mexican chain ever, if anything they just keep getting better. Really wish they had a location closer to Dublin :/

Their customer service is amazing!!! You can tell these employees are happy to serve you. They also give you a discount for working in the Polaris area!

Asked for quesadilla, wrapped me a burrito instead. And when I told them I ordered a quesadilla, the two workers up front gave me a look like I was an idiot. Sorry you don't speak English but I'm pretty sure its easy to differentiate between "quesadilla" and "burrito". Never going back, EVER.

Pretty much chipolte. I got a free side of chips and queso since I said it was my first time. Huge burritos, good queso but nothing special. About the same price range as chipotle, too. Restaurant clean but it was also empty. Pretty easy to keep an empty restaurant clean.

Love it. It is better than Chipotle, I drove past at least 2 of them to get to Qdoba. The service was quick and everyone was nice. The prices are comparable to Chipotle, but Qdoba has one thing they don't...a rewards card. I have already gotten free queso and chips, free chips and salsa, and I am only only one visit away from a free entree. Also on my next visit I get a free chips and salsa again. They even have daily specials at this location. The Wednesday deal is great $5 for entree and drink that's at least a $3 savings. Plus I got reward points towards a free entree...Awesome. I picked up dinner for my folks and myself and it was only $15 and some change. I got the old reliable naked queso steak burrito. My pops got a naked steak burrito with the new diablo queso and my mom got the hard tacos with seasoned beef. Everything was good as always. I will be back...again and again...and again.

Definitely a good go-to for after-church eating in the Polaris area. I used to go here at least once a month, and probably limit myself now to about once every six weeks, but it is still great. People compare it to Chipotle and it's really not worth your effort for the comparison. It's yummy. Chipotle is yummy. They're both yummy. What makes Qdoba great is that you can sign up for their loyalty rewards card and then you get points for everything you purchase. And it's not one of those cards that you sign up to get free stuff and once you have one billion points you get a free drink. No. I get a free "something" at least every other time I go. Sometimes it's a free entree, sometimes it's a free nachos and cheese, or sometimes it is just a drink. But it's always awesome.

Been to this particular location many times over the last few years and saw the service and quality gradually decline. However, after a visit for lunch this week, something has clearly changed for the better. The menu has improved and the service was outstanding. The extras, such as guacamole and queso no longer cost extra. And the manager, Nate, was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to be kind to my children. Food was great and reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

We had our sales meeting catered by Qdoba. They came in, set-up & all I had to do was call them, order & sign the receipt. The guy that came in to set up was very helpful & friendly. As an added bonus, our real estate agents loved the food!

Use to work at chipotle and now ended up liking the food here a lot more! The burrito is awesome, steak melts in your mouth and is very savory. Highly recommended.

The cheese sauce makes for more variations on burritos and nachos than what you might find at a competitor type of restaurant. Love getting nachos similar to that of a regular sit down restaurant. The white rice has a better taste than chipotle 's. The atmosphere seems a little quieter than most chipolte's and it's easier to hear what is being discussed at the table.

I actually had a great experience with Qdoba, I am really surprised by the other reviews. I ordered the taco bar for 10 people today and was really impressed with the food and service. The taco bar came with very large portions and a ton of condiments. It could easily feed 20 people It was a big hit! I also had the gumbo, which was delicious. I definetly like this place better than chipotle. The manager told me that they would also deliver and set up.. The prices were also very reasonable...I highly reccomend!

11/25/11 stopped did lunch. Shopping day. We received fast courteous service. Manager running register gave us a 2 for 1 deal since it was our first time. I actually liked the taste of the chicken better than competitor. We also got the chips and Queso. Manager gave us free (we didn't ask or hint). That Queso was wonderful. I will definitely go again.

My experience at this location makes me sad. I had previously complained about the food and the presentation here. The steak was old/tough and the "salsa" you would normally get was cut and presented so unappetizing that I had to complain to corporate about it. I then receive a "free entree" card from corporate due to my complaint. I ordered an "entree" and then added the guacamole to the order. They had the NERVE to charge me for the extra even though it was part of my "entree". Well apparently it is not and I was schooled on the RULES of Qdoba by to my surprise the owner. He had the gall to stand there and not only lecture me but try to compete with how Chiptole handles their complaints which is with GRACE. He finally succumbed probably due to the shear look of shock on my face- you must really need that $1.80 more than I do clearly for such a fight. The food presentation- ATROCIOUS still...even after 2 weeks. The shredded cheese was LITTERED with debris of every other food item and they MUST find another way to not only cut but present their salsa- I did a second pass AGAIN today. I will NEVER go to this location again- my money will not line the wallet of this owner who clearly not only lacks customer service skills 101 but also fresh food. FYI- Chipotle is right across the street:)

I wanted to try an alternative to the Chipotle across the street. I ordered a vegetarian bowl with white rice, black beans, fajita vegetables, tomato salsa, corn salsa, green salsa and guacamole. They informed me that the guacamole would be extra since I also ordered the fajita vegetables, that one or the other is included but not both. When I informed them that there is no upcharge at Chipotle for vegetarian bowls, the woman behind the counter decided it was appropriate to argue with me. Next time, I'll go to Yabo's Tacos up the street.

For some insane reason I'd convinced myself that my problems with Qdoba stemmed from the Graceland location, and I would be okay eating here. WRONG. If anything, my experience at this location of Qdoba was actually worse! 1. The guy behind the counter couldn't understand my order (which was tacos with corn tortillas instead of flour) and instead of asking me to repeat, just gave me flour tortillas then proceeded to talk bad about me under his breath. WTF? All I wanted was a different kind of tortilla! That isn't brain surgery. 2. Attitude from the cashier. I told the guy I needed to pay for the food after me too, but he rang me up and gave me a total anyway, with just my food. And this wasn't an issue of a language barrier. He spoke perfect English. He was just a jerk. 3. No trays! We had several different dishes since we'd ordered chips and salsa along with our meal, plus food for a toddler, and they had no trays so we had to make two trips. Then more trips to get drinks and it was just annoying. So yeah. Qdoba is now completely out for me, and unless you feel like spending your lunch hour annoyed, it should be out for you too!

Chipoltle copy-cat chain with worse tasting food and (at this particular location) the worst service I've received at any fast food location in years. Four items were ordered by my family, one was correctly understood and prepared. I will never be back.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
