Meh--- came here because our regular place was slammed. Always wanted to try Kona out and thought what the heck. The reviews expounded on great service and wonderful, classy atmosphere. We were seated quickly, but took a long while to get our drink order. Our waiter advised it was wind down Wednesday and wine bottles were half off while we looked for drinks. Luckily the wait time allowed us to choose our dinner, while the wait staff discussed who would take care of the table. In the mean time the children from the other tables RAN through the restaurant, hollering for joy that they were out of school. About 10 minutes or so our drinks appeared and our orders were taken. However our menus were left at the table and I had to ask another server to remove them. Average wait time for the food (Philadelphia roll, chili and a salad) to arrive. The food was very good, hot and well presented. Our server only checked on us once, twice if you count dropping off the check. Which did not have the discount for wind down Wednesday. Was really hoping this would be a better experience based on the reviews I've read. I want to give this place another try but maybe earlier in the month and week.

Stopped here for dinner as the restaurant we wanted to go to was slammed. I am glad we did! The service was great, drinks were refreshing and the food was excellent. We sat outside and got to watch all the hustle and bustle and enjoy the atmosphere. Our waiter was very good and not too pushy. Was quickly to get us drinks when we were almost out and gave suggestions on the food which hit the spot. The butter cake was a great finish. Will definitely go back!

Stopped in for a small meal for two. Ordered Gouda foundue and pulled pork sliders substituting regular fries. Service was SHORT. Like 15 words the entire meal short. It's 10pm, Easton is winding down...there's open patio seating. Our server was not so busy that she was unable to be friendly. Drink orders were taken and our server walked away in silence...we glanced at one another with a raised eyebrow. Pulled pork sliders are wonderful, great flavor with a little heat, nice slaw. Gouda fondue wasn't too warm on arrival, but since our appetizer was served at the same time as our entree without clarification we decided to let the tea light lit beneath to do it's magic. Snickers pie taken to go, so no review, but I suspect it will be great. Overall, food was wonderful, service left SO much to be desired.

Don't go here if you're.. Hungry. We ordered one sushi roll as an appetizer and it took years to arrive. The waitress very unapologetically apologized, she was very flighty and the waitress was probably the worst part of the experience. The food was just ok, I probably wouldn't go back.

Ironic that I travel from Vegas to Columbus and my first meal is at Kona Grill. I'm already a huge fan of their happy hour so this rating only applies to that as I have never dined here in any other capacity at any location. That being said their happy hour menu has a variety of food items like flatbread, sliders, lettuce wraps, sushi, calamari. If I had been drinking I would have ordered the blended margarita but considering the temps outside that just didn't seem right. My cousin and I ordered sushi and flatbread. The menu is the same as Vegas so I knew what to expect. That is what I appreciate about Kona is the food is always good and it's a great happy hour value in my opinion. We went on a Thursday night and I believe we were the only ones on the enclosed patio and even though it was cold outside the temperature was warm enough to not need our jackets. This could also be due to the decorative fire pits near our table. Our service was friendly and engaging. The seating outside has more of a patio feel with low chairs and small tables. I could see how that could be a problem if a lot of food was ordered. Service was also great.

This was my first time going there, the decor is very modern and I couldn't stop moving my head back and forth to check out all the details. I wasn't sure what to expect since I'm typically not a fan of fusion. But I was pleasantly surprised by the sushi. My favorite was the volcano roll! Seems like every restaurant is hopping on the sriracha bandwagon nowadays, who can blame them? The sriracha on the volcano roll tasted great! It wasn't spicy, but still added a little bit of zing to the sushi. We also had the pad thai, which was much sweeter than other pad thais I've had. It's by no means bad, but I just wasn't that big of a fan of it. We also had the Hawaiian ribeye. The meat itself is nothing to write home about, but eating it with the pineapple and shredded onions on top was an awesome mixture, I think everyone should try that! I'd give this place a 3.5 stars if I could. Overall, the food wasn't bad and there were some things that made it unique, but for the price there are better restaurants in town.

I have been to the Las Vegas location, so the hubster and I were very excited to give this place a go. The atmosphere is lovely. Waterfalls and aquariums really set the mood. The design and decor are fascinating as well. We had plenty to look at all evening. Our server was very sweet and catered to our every need. Most of the food was good, but not memorable. However... The bulgogi tacos were TO DIE FOR!!! I will be going back just for those in the future!

Food is great! Definitely try the Last Vegas, Yamada, and the steak and lobster. Aside from that, I want to on the service. Our waiter was fair, to say the least, however it was Courtney (sp?) that totally changed our perception and experience. He was VERY interactive, informative, and nothing short of a team player. When approached to thank him for the little he had done, he apologized on behalf of his teammate and gave solutions as to how he'd help to better his teammate (coworker). That would not it self is commendable. The manager came over and heard us out, apologized as well and all was right with the world! Great food. Great service. Great management. Great team.

Just had Kona for the first time... Sushi was amazing, sushi chefs are great! Won't be disappointed.

Nice decor, large salt water fish tank, zen kind of decor...then Ginuwine's "pony" playing in the background at 2pm on a Saturday. Interesting music selection, I prefer to keep it classy in the daytime. Not sure that's on the corporate playlist. Opted for sake, was surprised when it came in a wine glass and went with the spider roll. It was a refined version of the classic. I enjoyed. My lunch mates went w burger and fish tacos. The fish tacos were so spicy my friend could barely eat them. Had a very cumulative affect and not the spicy that you taste immediately, the slow burn in your mouth. She got a chicken/shrimp combo. They were literally the tiniest shrimp I've seen, like the kind from the can. Underwhelming. Not sure why she didn't send her dish back. No menu mention of hot. Our waitress was kind of overwhelmed; she got triple sat and then was absent when we needed our check. When I'm done, I'm done. I'm just meh on this place, I wouldn't be dying to go back with all the different restaurants in the area. Think they are still learning the ropes at this chain's location.

So first off LOVEEEE the vibe of this place. Trendy, classy, fun. I felt like I was in Beverly Hills or something! Secondly the gluten free menu wasn't bad, but could be better, we came for the sushi and we couldn't have much there. But the menu wasn't horrible, but we could only have 4 rolls and only one sounded great and it was the Houston roll. It was really good! I have come back again and ordered two of those. The jalapeño definitely adds flavor to it! Yummy! I started with the house salad....it wasn't memorable unfortunately. One thing about me is I almost always start with a new restaurant's house salad before my meal. Because it's their salad. THE house salad. To me it should represent them. It sounds silly, but something that makes me interested. Homemade dressing, something unique like watermelon, or roasted walnuts, cilantro lime avocado.... I don't know. But this was just lettuce, blue cheese and like one sliced cherry tomato. So first start... Not so good, but loved the Houston sushi roll and the gluten free soy sauce! But overall, I do like it here. I came back a second time and will come back again. I brought another friend the second time, and she really enjoyed it. But please more sushi roll options for gluten free? Spicy tuna with avocado roll? Barbecued eel roll? Shrimp roll? Just more than 4 pretty please. But great addition to Easton! I'll be back : )

Solid first visit to Kona grill. Loved the decor and entrance. Have a very open lay out with good size bar, great seating on the patio, comfortable seats but also room for normal dinning. Impressed with the design and decor. It's fun but modern with a bit of a luxury feel. Sushi and sangria were good. Our waiter was fun, friendly but had multiple tables with larger parties so we did not see him much. Very professional and polite but the take away points come from the length of time we waited for our food. It was too long. About 40 mins for our entrees for 6 people. Most of our orders were sushi rolls that we were all sharing. Disappointed with the wait, and killed the mood a bit. Service besides that was overall good. My friends said they enjoyed the lobster macaroni and cheese. I'm happy to try them again when I return for another visit.
(3)Nathan H.
The food was really good. Their menu doesn't stick to the modern Japanese thing. We enjoyed a roll and a couple entrees. They were VERY weird about seating our party of 7 because they mostly do parties of 4. VERY WEIRD. After questioning them after a 40 min wait in early afternoon, they told us that they could seat us if we'd "be outta there in an hour and 15 min," which was strange because we'd already waited 40 min. When they took us upstairs, there were literally 2 people, so they should've had no trouble seating us. It was odd. Then, every time someone would come upstairs, they would stand and look at us talking to another server. I swear: we were the only party of 7 they'd ever seen.

Might be my new fav at Easton! Typically when bumping around Easton I like a joint that I can drop in between shopping, get a few drinks & grab a quick bite; which Kona is the perf place for that with their awesome open air patio seating!! Also the way the patio & bar are setup the people watching is brilliant too. So the food... well I've only tried the sushi, but every roll we've had was fresh and nicely prepared with a great presentation. My favorite was the checkerboard roll and my wife's was the coconut shrimp roll, the traditional rolls were good as well. We enjoyed this place so much we came back on a date night for dinner, once again the food was fantastic and the atmosphere is fab! I highly recommend checking this place out, I'll certainly be back...

I have only visited the houston location and was not a fan because the food seemed so commercialized and not authentic. I guess when you live in hawaii, you become snobby about hawaiian food or themes. I actually refused to try this location when it first opened but thought some of our company employees would like it and I was planning on hosting a happy hour so called to find out if they could accommodate 25 people with a reservation. Young lady who answered explained they don't take reservations for happy hour but could get me reserved tables that wouldn't offer happy hour specials and just regular dinner. I was about to hang up and she offered a manager. Jacob got on the phone and made magic happen. We showed up the next night and we're treated like royalty. We sat in the front covered lounge lanai that's heated. Two servers were great. We had 25 of us and probably ordered about 45 sushi rolls and other appetizers. Lost count if the beer, cider, wine bottles and coconut mojitos! Food was fresh and tasty. Service was excellent. We had a great time and this experience changed my view of kona grill in a most positive way. Kona grill easton rocks! Wave roll was awesome and the volcano yummy. Crab crunch is tasty too. We didn't have anything bad.
(5)Chelsey H.
The food was AMAZING! Shout out to the chef, Sam... He's killin' it with some new dishes. Watch out for the habanero sushi roll, that should be making an appearance soon. *DROOLING* Service was amazing as well! Our waiter, Courtney, was on point. He knew a lot about the menu and was very passionate about the food. Excellent food. Excellent service. Most definitely should check it out.
(5)Rachael H.
Tonight was my boyfriend and my second time dining here, and we were just as impressed as the first. The service was great and we were seated with no wait because we were alright with sitting at the high top tables. My boyfriend got the Cuban and I it the fish tacos. We were impressed by both! We are looking forward to trying their happy hour.

Place is trendy and clean . Menu is little confusing going from sushi to burgers , Flat bread pizza and key lime pie ? Maybe a little of an identity problem . Was with a large business group and numerous people ordered the same meal . They were all inconstant ! The same meal 3 different ways ? Not to mention 3 lobster macaroni and cheese all had to go and back cause they were completely missing lobster and were pretty much a kids portion . It was a Tuesday and the place was almost empty , hard to believe the kitchen was just slammed and it was just a " miss " . But , the staff did fix all the problems and in the end everyone was pretty happy with the meals .

I have been to 6 Konas across the U.S. And this one wasn't too bad! The food was good, and their happy hour prices are awesome as always and I also had the happy hour margarita which was decent :). We had the spicy tuna roll which was standard, wasn't spicy at all compared to other Konas, the kona in Denver and Fort Worth, TX makes it awesomely (is that a word?!;) spicy!!) so this one didn't Amaze. Atmosphere : loud music, great for Families or louder groups, maybe not the best place for a date if you want to chit chat Lol. We went with our 2 year Old and they were awesome and patient with her And she could talk loudly and still barely be heard because of the music!:) (The area around the restaurant is awesome as well for an after dinner or before walking/shopping session lol) enjoy!

If I could only give 0 stars. Typical chain fail. Never going back. For a restaurant that claims to be seafood centric, the shrimp in the shrimp salad were horrible. Tasted like they have been cooked and stored in the refrigerator for days. Ceviche was tasteless. Over cooked and over priced. First time and last time here.

If anyone is trying to find a swanky restaurant and not pay the hefty price, you might want to make your way across Kona@Easton.... ...The decor is rich, and it reminds me of a place you would enjoy going for happy hour with your girlfriends, or significant other. Gold tile-like print around the bar, and there's outdoor seating overlooking the inside of the restaurant. It has a fashionable sense of style, yet the customers dressed relaxed. Now let's get to the food. Its more of an American& Asian fusion. If your not into sushi, no worries because they have pizza & sandwiches as well. We ordered steak and lobster sushi for starter. Not bold in flavor, but definitely fresh and good. (Raw steak on top so buyer, beware). For my entrée, I ordered the lemon-garlic shrimp penne. It was served with the best ciabatta garlic & cheese bread. It had the right amount of seasoning to be a successful dish, but something basic that you could find at any restaurant. Overall, I had a pleasant time and the staff was great. Although this is my first visit, I would say the food is a little above average & somewhere I would visit several times over simply becauseof the ambiance. If I could, I would rate this 3 1/2 stars. Oh, did I mention, they have upstairs seating as well, and happy hour is from 3-7p Mon-Fri.

I recently tried Kona Grille after a not so great first experience and was extremely pleased with my second visit. The decor and ambiance is wonderful when you arrive and we got to sit by the huge fish tank and enjoy a late lunch and happy hour had just begun. We started with drinks and the cosmo was fantastic! We then tried the margarita flatbread which was so flavorful. We also ordered a shrimp tempura roll and split the kona burger which was cooked to perfection. Overall I had a lovely time eating at Kona Grille and we will definitely return in the near future.

I was completely underwhelmed by this restaurant. The menu looked very promising, while plated nicely - the food was just bland. Not to mention, we ordered a few sushi rolls that came out AFTER we were done eating our main course and the manager came to the table with some lame excuse about having to slice more steak for on of the rolls because they ran out.!?! The steak was rare, so it shouldn't have taken 30 min to cook and slice. Another friend had ordered the Chinese chopped salad that was to be slathered with dressing.. They brought him a plain pile of chopped cabbage-no dressing, no other toppings. When he asked, he was told there was dressing on it.... So he had to ask for more. And lastly, my husband ended up being sick the rest of the night from his meal. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant is beautiful..but... We won't go back.
(1)Gina J.
Came here tonight for happy hour and had a fabulous time. $6 Apple and Brie flat bread? Yes, please! We also had the buffalo chicken flat bread and that one had quite the kick! Their sparkling sake-sangria was perfection in a glass. (Also on the happy hour menu) Don't forget the Gouda fondue. Simply amazing! For dinner, one party had the lobster mac and cheese and loved it. I had the meatloaf. Random, I know....but it was "different" but still edible. I don't think I would order it again. For dessert we had the Rice Krispie s'mores and it was the perfect touch. This is a great place to meet the girls for happy hour after work. Music is upbeat, the dim lighting is just right and the water fall in the background is a nice touch. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
(5)Tom W.
Easton town center is like an outside, small street mall. Stopped in Kona for dinner with family. We got sushi rolls and the Gouda fondue. Both very good! Service was outstanding!! We will definitely come back!
(4)Amanda A.
Kona Grill was great. We went on a Saturday night before going to the Funny Bone. I wish we had more time and had not been so rushed because the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Even being short on time, the service was quick and friendly. I had the Kona Chopped salad which was amazing. It had so much chicken on it that I could only eat half before I was full. My boyfriend got the pork tenderloin which he said was also very good. We will definitely be back some other time.
(5)Id T.
Adam is awesome. His suggestions were spot on and a great help for a couple of 1st timers. The shrimp tempura nurato is outstanding! Very complex but crazy good. (Adam suggested) the Butter Cake, Damn just trust me get it.
(4)Morgan B.
Great new addition to Easton! The interior was very nice and upscale and the prices were reasonable. All our food was delicious and there were plenty of options including a nice sushi selection. I'd highly recommended the taro chips, a healthier twist on the usual potato chips or fries!
(5)Maggie M.
It's a convenient spot for a quick bite to eat right next to express. It's good to see that Easton added a sushi restaurant into the mix that is walkable. A lot of different options on their menu. I will say that I had the shrimp & chicken lettuce wraps and they were ok,along with the two sushi rolls that we got. I would say everything was average except for the friendly waitstaff & atmosphere! The space is tranquil, modern and open. Very nice bar and seating area. Even have space for private parties. Next time I will probably order something different. Maybe didn't make the best decision on my order. Otherwise cool spot to check out.
(3)Michael C.
So, we were invited back for a 2nd try. This time we were seated upstairs, and the climate was much better. Our server was very attentive, and ensured that we had everything we needed to make the evening most enjoyable. The food was enjoyable, atmosphere was great. Thanks for the great evening
(4)Nicole D.
You know what's in these days? Fusion, aka mix and match. I've had PBJ burger, Korean tacos, dessert wontons etc., which are such great ideas and full of fun twists. Back to the real review, this place presents itself as a Japanese, American fusion upper scale restaurant. The interior is great, location is great, as a matter of fact, food is great too. This place is awesome for family, or large groups I think. Everyone can pick out something they want, they serve burgers, flatbreads, sushi, pastas and classic entrees. The food tasted really good with reasonable portion. However, if you are adventurous and want a real fusion of the east and west, you wont get it here. They dont really have anything super creative and interesting, everything is standard. But you can definitely get decent sushi and burger at the same place in here.
(4)Sohini G.
Came here for dinner with 2 of my girlfriends and we split a bunch of apps and sushi. This is unfortunately not the sushi rest we thought. For apps we tried the avacado egg rolls which were decent and the chicken salad wraps which were pretty good and I'd def get again. For our meal we split a bunch of sushi rolls which were def sub par. We got a wave roll which was good, the checkerboard roll which tasted super fishy and we almost didn't finish and a spicy shrimp which was just okay. Drinks: sake was delic and reasonably priced. Service: awesome. Overall for food...would def not come back here for sushi, but would be open to trying the rest of their menu.
(3)Amy C.
I strongly recommend visiting during happy hour because there are some amazing deals. The decor and atmosphere are great. The service was okay. The sushi? Not so great. There are plenty of other food choices that may be good, but I went for sushi. The sushi portions were tiny, loosely rolled and unremarkable in flavor. The seven-spice seared tuna was pre-cooked, refrigerated and rubbery. This is a very basic staple and pre-cooking it is unacceptable. Because I went during happy hour, I would normally think "you get what you pay for." Which, is exactly what I was thinking until I overheard the sushi chefs talking. One asked the other "is this fish okay"? The answer: "Probably, in rolls." NOT what you ever want to hear at any restaurant, especially at a sushi bar after just consuming raw fish! Eww, gross, when in doubt throw it out! My boyfriend and I were wondering if that's how our pre-seared tuna came to be. We imagined the same conversation..."Is this tuna okay"? "Probably, if you sear it." We didn't get sick, so I guess it was okay. Win?

My friends and I recently were excited to go here, the only one I had ever ever been to was the one in Scottsdale, AZ which I loved! There were 4 of us girls and we asked to be seated upstairs which was more quiet - mind you this was Friday - around 6:30 pm. As we got upstairs it was more quiet and maybe 2 tables were taken - so that means the waiters/waitresses weren't busy. NO one attended to us for about 15-20 minutes. The waiters/waitresses came around to everyone but us. Finally one of us got up and said something to a waiter and he stated "Oh I thought you guys were taken care of". So we finally let that go, then our food took maybe over 30 minutes to come and mind you we noticed a party of 2 had come after us and they got waited on RIGHT away and got their food right away as well. Our server failed to bring small items such as ranch to our table as I had asked for it when I ordered my food. The Manager I believe came up to our table and asked how everything was...and I just said I want my ranch and finally the waiter brought it to me. This place has a nice ambiance and I'm usually all for that but food was ok my cousin had got sushi and there was all this left over water underneath it which was gross cause it made everything soggy. I ordered a turkey burger which was good. I just wish the service was better as this was a restaurant I had good experience with in the past. I've had better experience and I will never go to this location ever again.
(2)Jamie W.
Server was very short with us. I don't think she ever smiled or tried to engage us in conversation. She took our drink order and said nothing as she left the table. Not a "hey I'll be right back with your drinks or anything. She did check on us throughout the meal and filled out drinks as needed. Just not much of a personality in the personality business. The food was pretty good. The pulled pork sliders were very good.
(3)Mll R.
I dined here with two friends recently. They had been here once before and thought the food was okay although the service was bad as it almost always is in Columbus. They thought maybe the restaurant just needed a little more time to get it together since they'd just opened the first time so they wanted to give it a second try. We had a reservation and were taken to our upstairs table right away. We were the only people upstairs and we were seated in a dark corner near the bathroom. Not a dim corner, a dark corner. I used the flashlight app on my cellphone to read the menu. We asked the server to light the tiny candle on the table and it took her about half an hour to find a match. A dozen candles would have been more helpful. I'm not supposed to eat gluten so I ordered a tuna roll no soy sauce as that seemed about the only thing that may not have gluten. It was okay; not good not bad, but okay. One friend ordered a salad and lemon garlic shrimp penne. They served both together at the same time. On questioning the server, she said she never serves the salad before the main course. She always brings them out together. My friend said the penne tasted so overwhelmingly of red pepper flakes it was hard to eat. My other friend (who loves Kona Grill in other cities) ordered macadamia chicken and mashed potatoes. If you had not told me that was chicken, I would not have been able to identify it. It looked awful. According to my friend, it was cold and dry, and the mashed potatoes were also dry. My impression of the server is that she doesn't really like working in the restaurant industry, the service business, or with people in general. We're not going back.
(1)Jennifer W.
I was amazed by how crowded and beautifully decorated the restaurant was considering the food was awful. Like a previous reviewer, our sushi roll arrived after the main course. Our drinks arrived just before the main course. It felt very rushed. I had the macadamia nut chicken, which was supposed to be a specialty and it was hardly recognizable as actual chicken. The consistency was almost rubbery, as if the chicken had been boiled. The macadamia nut coating was sliding off the chicken as if they were separate entities. The texture of the chicken was so odd that it was hard to eat. We were in and out of the restaurant in 40 minutes. It was like speed dating your dinner. I will never be back. Ever.

The modern and trendy décor in this place really impressed me. I found myself looking around at all of the detail and accents throughout my dinner and even walked around to check every nook and cranny. The patio is also top-notch, with super comfy but stylish patio furniture overlooking the busy sidewalks of Easton. One side of the bar is on the out-door side which is really nice. Now if only the food matched the level of décor in this place... I got the California roll which came with a crab mix rather than a piece of imitation crab meat which was ok but not what I'm used to. The chicken and shrimp lettuce wraps were almost inedible because of how salty it was. I used 1 small spoonful for each large piece of lettuce. Lastly the pepperoni flat bread was barely touched by my boyfriend because of the thick pepperoni that covered the pizza, which would seem like a good thing but the proportion was off for the bread being so thin. I really wanted to like this place because I enjoyed the setting but I probably won't come back for anything other than happy hour drinks.
(3)Makeda A.
Only one vegetarian roll option? They said they could not modify and create a cucumber roll or asparagus roll. Now that's disappointing. The ambiance is delightful. The aquarium and patio view makes you feel welcomed. I wanted to really like this new establishment at Easton but the menu have to have more to offer. I ordered the asparagus salad and it came with 4 small pieces of asparagus and romaine lettuce. My waitress recognized my disappointment and had more asparagus added to the salad. I don't think my expectations were set too high because the salad price is $11.25. Thanks to the waitress and manager for correcting the asparagus shortage and giving me a complimentary meal. That meant a lot to me. However, If you're a vegetarian, you might not like the limited options for meals.

Tuna Tower and Chicken Caprese Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries were amazing!! Great service too! Reminded me of being back in Hawaii!!
(5)Michael L.
Until recently, I had only ever been to their location in Scottsdale. Arizona. The outdoor bar here is a great pace to hide from the crowds of Easton and enjoy lunch or dinner. A little expensive when it comes to the appetizers, but a beautiful restaurant with one of the best Turkey burgers I've ever had!
(4)Britt P.
Amazingly delicious sushi! I actually dined at this sushi bar 2 times in the past week while I was on vacation in Columbus. Since I love sushi and had some special instructions for my order I sat at the sushi bar. The sushi chefs on both occasions were able to create wonderful dishes for me that fit my special diet restrictions. All of the ingredients were extremely fresh. The salmon, yellowtail and tuna were superb. In fact it was the best sushi i have had in probably 8 years. I would rate them 10 stars out of 10 if I had the opportunity. The decor was beautiful. The servers and staff were very friendly
(5)J C.
I found it odd and rude when two staff members spoke to eachother in a fake broken English accent in the bar area during my Dec 14th visit. The food preparation was fine.
(2)Eric W.
Service was attentive and atmosphere great. We sat upstairs overlooking the downstairs. We only had sushi. Try the volcano roll - fantastic!
(4)hollie w.
Sushi was awesome, Lobster Mac and Cheese was delicious and desserts were fab! I plan on going back next week with my husband to try more!
(5)Sheila H.
The food is fabulous and the staff is attentive. We had a group of 16 with various tastes - there was something for everyone including the kids. Food was delivered to the table timely, accurately and hot. Everyone was pleased with the ordered.
(5)Dani G.
The best part about this place is the convenience and atmosphere. I had a few different sushi rolls. They were typical of a restaurant like this very good. Their lettuce wraps were amazing and their drinks were fairly strong. I thought they would be weaker than what they actually were. Nice place for dinner with a loved one.
(4)Stephanie P.
The decor and location is fantastic. They have a variety of foods but I believe this is their downfall. I ordered sushi which I feel is a specialty and it was very bad. It didn't taste like it was made fresh. I refused the food and ordered a desert which was fantastic but the waitress never brought me a spoon. Ordered coffee and it was cold. The manager came to my table and was very nice, covered the cost of my meal and invited me back. I will probably never go back but the manager earned them the two stars instead of just one.

Impressive interior design and ambiance. Great service! We tried their Salmon sashimi, Tacos combo, BBQ flatbread, cucumber salad, Salmon Roe and Volcano roll. I'll definitely come back for the Volcano Roll and would probably try their Beef Bulgogi Tacos along with some other drink selection since I didn't like their Strawberry Ginger Lemonade.

I've been to a few Kona's and this one was top-notch, just like the rest. A wonderful place to take a client to lunch or catch happy hour with a friend. Others have complained about the loud music and that may be the case during happy hour, but not generally during lunch. The Kona in Las Vegas was one of my favorite default client lunch locations.... I love the outdoor (heated) patio at Easton, it will be wonderful once the weather warms up, and the large bar area. The food is always good, the drinks are fantastic and the atmosphere is great. Our service was on-point, no complaints here!

Will.Not.Go.Back. The suishi was average, salad was lackluster. Atmosphere was excellent, but the big reason to not return was the awful and crazy loud heavy metal music.

I've given this place more chances than I should have and I've been disappointed every time. The first time I went, they would not seat us even though we had reservations and the host over the phone said it would be fine if we showed up a little late. My friend was upset about it and asked to speak to a manager. The hostesses were laughing at her for this. The second time, I ordered the lobster mac and cheeseburger sliders for my co worker and I as a carry out order. The Mac and cheese was very dry and flavorless and my co workers burgers were practically 100% raw. She ended up having to go back not once, but TWICE, because her fixed order was raw as well. She ended up getting sick because of it. The third time, I dined in to try their sushi which was the worst I've ever had. It wasn't horrible, but I could've gotten better sushi from Kroger and paid less. The service was also slow beyond belief and they weren't even busy.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! We were greeted promptly, drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert was fabulous. Manager checked on us several times and our server was attentive and had excellent recommendations. Loved the ambiance and view.

the food was outstanding and with the price range there are expectations. when my dad and i first walked in, i fell in love with the interior design. but when i walked up to the front desk. i asked if there was any room and one girl said "yes, at the sushi bar," and she pointed. i went there, and no one followed to guide us and i was full. thats minus one star. i had to go back for more unhelpness and finally got the high topped tables. later i got confused at what they were focusing at. they have a sushi bar, a dining area, high tables, a bar and an upstairs dining area. btw, i love how the bar faces the windows looking outside bc then i doesnt feel so closed in, but i dont understand why there are so many tvs. are you a sports restaurant or something. it distracts people. i saw people watching the tv more than actually talking to other people. also, the music did not fit the place and it was too loud for me to comfortable hear what my father was saying. they were playing songs i would gladly listen to by myself, (passion pit, adventure club, the neighbourhood, etc) mostly alternative but even if you could pull of that music in the restaurant, it still was too loud. i could see the speakers and it was half way down the room facing the floor. im no expert but it would seem to be a better idea to put it at the very top corners so its background noise. theres already enough noise coming from the people in the restaurant, why add to it with loud music. thats the other minus star. but like i said, i dont understand what you are trying to focus on. you seem like a sushi sports bar teen music dining place. then you have a giant fish tank in the middle. maybe im being a little picky but it doesnt make sense to me. the food was worth the money though. my father and i got the salmon, bbq flatbread and a name that has slipped my mind but it was a cucumber, eel, avocado roll. they were all impeccable.
