Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I ordered online and I have to say that the site is not very user friendly so it took me a minute. I have to say that I think I ordered my pizza wrong. I had a coupon for a large 1 topping for 11.99 and so I clicked on "build your own pizza" option and added pepperoni and apparently if you order it that way it makes a difference in how you receive it. The pizza we got had the pepperoni under the cheese, but I just read their menu again and they have what they call "The Classic" which says it is cheese topped with pepperoni and topped with grated cheeses. So just so you know if you do the order online pick "The Classic" and I assume it counts as a 1 topping for 11.99. What I think about it well my opinion is a bit higher then my partner who is the pizza picky man. I think they have the perfect pizza for those of us that still crave that greasy style pizza like when we were in school or at slumber parties when young and it's that kinda greasy that drenches your fingers in the heavy red oil. It was too greasy for him and I do agree it was pretty damn greasy, but still not bad if that is your thing. I don't like the pepperoni under the cheese as I enjoy them crispy, but I think this was my error and not theirs due to how I ordered. The crust is decent with some crisp to it. If you like sauce like my guy does then you had better request extra sauce, because they are skimpy on the sauce, there were some pieces that actually appeared to have little to no sauce at all. They load it with a lot of cheese, but due to how greasy it was that may be because they order cheap cheese (on their website you cannot find anything about the quality of their ingredients.) Steve felt like the cheese on top was too burnt and he felt the pizza was on the dry side even though it was so greasy. So based on the prices they charge without coupons I would not return as their product is not as good as the Papa Johns down the road or the other Mom Pop places I have been to and because of that it is highly unlikely that I will come back here at least not often.

Great Pizza, very friendly. The owner, Brian Baker, does a fantastic job with his establishment. Very attentive to customers needs, while making one of the BEST PIZZA's Columbus has to offer. Highly Recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great little family owned business for nearly five decades now. The service and quality of food I got demonstrate why. Joseppi's is definitely on my short list of goto restaurants.

Had to call 2 different locations for delivery. Then each person who answered the phone acted annoyed they had to find out if delivery was available to me. We got the taco pizza (since my go-to for taco pizza, East of Chicago, is no longer open in Columbus). The crust was burnt and rubbery. The taco meat was sweet like sloppy Joe sauce and didn't have any spice at all to it. The lettuce was slimy and wilted and the tomato quarters were yellowed and pithy.

Side note to my previous review! 20% off if you order online, or so their sign says :)

I ordered the steak sandwich and chicken tenders. I hate to give such a poor rating for a personal mom and pop business, but I have to say it as it is, and I hope they improve their food based on my review. The steak sandwich was horrible, in the sense that they did not use real steak meat. They used some sort of processed meat that you can find in a freezer. I was expecting shaved steak meat, but got this instead. Highly disappointed, this was a first for me. The chicken tenders, again, same processed taste to them. It tasted exactly like the tenders you would get from pre-packed frozen section. I couldn't believe this. Shame on you for having this crap on your menu. Highly disappointed.

I ordered a baked spaghetti and it was awful. Very watery and no taste. I called to ask for a refund. They said I could have a credit or they would deliver a new one but I couldn't get a refund. I didn't want a repeat of more terrible food nor do I want to do business with them again. Looks like I will just have to dispute the charge. Yet more disappointment in west side delivery places.

So upset, I ordered a pizza and they said they were in my delivery area. They gave me a confirmation yet 20mins after they said it was to be delivered we received call saying that we were not in delivery area. She may have a apologized however I'm out a pizza and you told me an hour after I placed my order. So... Did you make the pizza and keep it for yourself since you couldn't deliver? Glad I was going to pay cash and not card might not have received a refund.

I have mixed feelings on Joseppi's, but it can be boiled down to the fact that each location's pizza will not taste exactly the same. Having eaten at the Joseppi's in Grove City, I wasn't really blown away and thought about disregarding this place all together, but after trying the Hilltop location, I can strongly say I am a fan. I even tried it twice to make sure it was fairly consistent. Joseppi's reminds me of Donato's, but not as commercialized. I think in reality, Donato's wishes they could make a pizza as good as here, but they have to fall short due to the masses. If you order their regular Pepperoni, then don't freak out when you see your pizza is missing the toppings... They're underneath! That's definitely different, and if it's too different for your sake, then they also offer a pizza with pepperoni on top. Toppings and sauce here were not of super high or expensive quality or anything, but they weren't all terrible in my opinion, either. The crust is of the thin midwestern variety, but not to a crispy/crunchy aspect. Just a typical Ohio pie. The subs here were A-OK, too. A lot of the complaints on here seem to be regarding items other than pizza, so I can't really vouch for that, but if 'Pizza' is in the title, then I sure as hell am not going to be ordering a chicken sandwich. Delivery here was SUPER speedy. They quoted me 45 minutes, and I had my pizza around 25. Is it my favorite pizza in Columbus? Probably not, but for a good Friday night delivery pizza nearby.. it beats the big chain pizzas hands-down. I'm a fan!

Ordered a carry out meal of our favorite "Topper" pizza from Joseppi's on Sullivant Ave. again (and my Anchovie pizza.) Ready when Brian, the owner and person taking my order promised. Piping hot and delicious. Gotta try that "Topper" if you haven't had it. Check it out! Awesome!

It pains me to rate this place so low. In high school, I would go to the location in Lincoln Village (formerly located on S Murray Hill Rd) after home football games for post marching band nosh, and remembered the pizza as being fantastic. After moving to the Hilltop I wanted to relive the pizza magic, so we visited the Sullivant Ave location for dinner one night. It's a little hole in the wall joint, which is fine by me, but it wasn't clean. Gross. You order at a walk up counter, and then they bring you your pizza when it's ready. The guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful, so that was fine. Here's where the sadness happens... The pizza was SO GREASY that I used a pile of napkins to do that 'soak up the grease' method that really doesn't do anything but make a mess and give you the placebo effect of a healthier pizza. We had ordered pepperoni and pineapple, which is the best combo ever, but they put so cheese much on the 'za that I could barely choke it down. Unfortunately, contrary to popular belief, it IS possible to have too much cheese. Since I am not above eating pizza that's fallen on the floor, the fact that I didn't enjoy this pizza is probably a bad sign. I was so disappointed, as I remembered it so fondly. There are so many great pizza places in Columbus, so I don't see myself taking the risk again.

Probably one of my least favorite pizza places on this side of town. Their sauce tastes wonky, and the one time I ordered a deep dish pizza it was undercooked.
