Love Thai Express for cheap and tasty takeout when I'm too lazy to cook. We got a few things the other night, and my fiancé raved about his dish. My pad thai was enough for 3 meals (although I tend to eat pretty modest portions when I get takeout). I loved our spring rolls - they are more like egg rolls (they are fried, not the clear wrapper), but they had a nice black pepper kick to them. The fried tofu is also pretty good. Only deducting one star because there was a slight mix-up in our order (I ordered pork pad thai, and they made chicken pad thai - still good, though).

I've loved this place for years, and they now take credit card! Always excellent food, I've many different items and none have disappointed. Excellent pad-thai, it's great with pork or fried tofu, and add extra veggies for a dollar! Most dishes are large enough that they straddle the dinner+lunch tomorrow portion. And even a Thai friend says it's excellent! For most, consider this a take-out only place. There are two little tables, but it can be loud and hot. I actually like it though, it's part of the charm!

The big thing that bugs me about this place is the pad see ew. I can't be certain what the "right way" is, but my preference is thick noodles and the flavor of Thai basil and chili pepper to permeate through the entire dish. But at Thai Express, the pad see ew tastes like a soy sauce ripoff of their pad thai. They use the thin rice noodles and the basil is just entirely missing :( Otherwise, Thai Express is good bang for your buck. The portions will fill you up and it's not very expensive. There is probably only enough seating for 6, and free parking is hard to find around that area (USqaure garage or lot for paid options). The ladies behind the counter are very welcoming and friendly!

The pad thai is plentiful (though a bit on the sweet side) and the hot and sour soup is very tasty. This place is one of the cheapest deals in Cinci. Decent quality foods of a nice portion size for an awesome price.

great authentic thai and even better prices. And, they now accept credit cards!

Best Thai Food fix ever and best Pad Thai in Cincinnati!!! This place has been here forever and is still freaking great! Their portions are generous for the price you pay! I always get the chicken pad thai, and the wings. The chicken pad thai is a tad sweet, but all the flavors are well balanced, with the tinge of sour and the spice. Happy harmony and well-balanced flavors. Wings are always nicely fried, and have a nice thin layer of crunch with tender moist meat with a addicting dipping sauce. The place is small, so its always great for take-out. This place never fails, its always on its A game! They take credit card now! - best move ever, it use to be my downfall when I wanted some because they use to just take cash. So now it may become a problem, I may always be there now. NOMz!!!

Fast easy and inexpensive. Not the best Thai you'll ever have but well worth the paupers price. I come as often as I am in the area and have a hankering for some spicy noodles.

The BEST Thai takeout in Clifton! Wish I still lived close enough to pick up!

After hearing about the hype for a couple years now, we finally tried Thai Express last night. Our verdict: It's good, but not life-changingly good. {shrug} Also, I'm glad I read Vicky N's review so I was forewarned about the pad see you. I ordered it anyway, just to benchmark it because it's one of my favorite Thai dishes, and I thought the flavor was fine but yeah, I would have preferred the thick wide noodles that I'm used to. Next time I'll probably get the pad thai, like everyone else.

Summary: Some of the best thai in Cinci coming out of a no-frills mom-and-pop shop #Update: I've come back again and am bumping my rating up from 4 star to 5 star. I had one of their specials Kao Soy (northern Thai style noodles with a curry soup base, pickled mustard greens with tofu (meaty options also available)). Simply incredible. Restaurant: I've been coming here for years after walking by this very unassuming restaurant. On the outside, it looks completely run down and small. They've cleaned up on the inside. They also take credit card now via Square including American Express, which is great. All of the employees are super nice and helpful. Food: The food is the same as it was years ago - it's all still really good. I tend to get their rice dishes which are more varied than what you can get at other thai restaurants. My favorite still is the Holy Basil Stir Fry with tofu and an additional fried egg. The runny yolk spills over the rice and the salty sauce and makes a wonderful rich flavor for the dish. They'll ask you how spicy (from 1 to 10) and I'd say they're a touch spicier than other places in the city. They will also give you "thai spicy" if you ask for it, which is pretty hot. I've also had their mango salad with tofu and it's absolutely delicious. Perfect balance of tangy, sweet, crunchy, and salty. Food portions are big. Overall: Great Thai food that happens to be in the college eats part of town. Every time I come into town, I come here, especially because there's no thai food in Alabama.

This is my favorite Thai spot in the city. I always get the Pad Thai and while I have tried a few other things this is what I usually get because I think they have the best Pad Thai in the city. I also really like their Tom Yum soup which has more flavor than most in the city and although it is usually just broth with some mushrooms they have added vegetables when I requested and made it a full vegetable soup and not just broth. I have tried the Thai iced coffee as well but it was a bit too sweet the last time I had it (and I know that it is usually sweet because of the condensed milk). It is mainly a carry-out spot but they do have two small tables to sit at if they aren't already taken. If you wait until you get there to order your food, you can watch them cook your food right in front of you in giant hot woks. It doesn't take long and if they aren't busy it only takes a few minutes to get your food. This place makes me feel like I am ordering street food from one of the night markets in Thailand. Thai Express is one of the best Thai places in Cincinnati, if not the best.

I have been going to this place for years. I love it! The cooks are very friendly and accommodating to particular diets and the food is great. Go in a few times and they'll be sure to remember you! Tonight I had their classic green curry, one of my favorite dishes. Chicken was moist, and comes with shoots, green peppers and done kind of leafy herb. The sauce is fragrant and delicious. It isn't too thick either, which might ward off someone trying to eat healthier. I would also highly recommend their pad thai with extra peanuts. It is a cash only place and not much seating, but it's really ideal for a quick dinner grab on your way home. Their soda is also the cheapest anywhere else! Be careful parking in the lot next door; they'll tow you very promptly!

Real, home-style Thai street food in Cincinnati. I've only been once, but I will be back to be sure. I have had Thai food before (many people who have reviewed this place have not). So my stars are not the "wow, this doesn't taste like midwestern bland" rating. My first review will be 4 Stars (note: this is NOT based on ambiance lol). I have only had the Holy Basil Stir Fry. It was great (it's well described in other reviews, so I'll refrain). But I did watch the dishes get cooked and served for 30 minutes. They all looked awesome, with real fresh ingredients. Take it away, or eat at one of the two small tables. But by all means eat the food here. Mother/daughter/or some family member (wild guess) seem to run the kitchen and counter, and they run a tight ship. Steady stream of customers.

Best take out in the city!! I have been eating there for over 17 years and the same women own the restaurant! I love that you can walk in & see them cooking while you wait. There are only 2 or 3 small tables, so plan on taking your food out! They do have a fridge with canned drinks too! The pad thai is the best in the city! My husband loves the massaman curry-- it has peanuts, pineapple, & potatoes! Cash only! The wait can be long during dinner hours!

+ Delicious thai food! My favorite is the pad thai. I tried the Drunken Noodles and they had a smoky flavor that I didn't really love. They weren't bad but I just wasn't a fan. I'll probably just stick to Pad Thai. + Great service! + Reasonable price for

I loveee this place! Been going here before I even started college and now I'm about to graduate! The ladies are always so sweet. I always get the fried rice when I come. The portions are huge and the price is pretty cheap.

I first tried Thai Express when I moved to Clifton as a UC student, it was my first exposure to Thai food and I was hooked. After 13 years and trying just about every Thai restaurant in Cincinnati, Thai Express and their Pad Thai is still my favorite and best I've had. The food is very reasonably priced, especially given the portion sizes. I can't recommend Thai Express enough!

"Hole in the wall" definitely describes this place. There's no private parking. The menu is small but focused. The food is authentic. On this particular visit we had their pad thai and drunken noodles. Neither is drowned in sauces. The shrimps in my pad thai were gigantic. However, it was kind of obvious that they were pre-boiled to the right level of "doneness" before they were thrown in to the wok at the last second. Despite that, we will most likely be back because while the techniques were somewhat lacking, the taste is absolutely authentic.

I used to live in Cincinnati; I crave the food at Thai Express regularly and can't find anything close in Louisville. This tiny spot is the epitome of unpretentious - you don't go for the decor and you certainly don't dress your best. There are only 3 wobbly high top tables since their primary business is take-out. It is very affordable, extremely fresh and authentic Thai like you could only get from a Thai mom or grandmother, and the amazing ladies there will treat you as such if you invite them to. The curries and pad thai are sublime, and be sure to try the stir-fry dishes if you haven't experienced that side of Thai cooking - the ginger chicken (the one I crave most) is full of plump fresh mushrooms and ginger. The holy basil stir-fry is also fantastic, although you cant make a bad choice. This food will cure whatever ails you and inspire your taste buds, and, depending on how spicy you go, leave you warm and glistening.

One of my favorite places in Clifton to get my spicy food. I've never had Thai food before. I read on Yelp the Holy Basil Stir Fry was good. So I got that with Chicken and went with an 8 on the spicy scale. Definitely not bad for $8 compared to Panera or Chipotle. I'll definitely be going back to try the level 10 spicy for it. And try some appetizers too.

Great little hole in the wall Thai joint! Love the old ladies there. If you're a regular they definitely hook you up with a lot of food. My favorite is pad see ewe (you). Only set back is that it is cash only. They would get so much more business if they accepted credit card. They have meter parking which is also great since it's in crowded spot.

Best pad thai in the Greater CIncinnati area, hands down! Our friends told us about this place and after my first visit, I've basically gone back every day since b/c I've been craving their food. Would like to highlight Naam, Thai sausage that is mostly only available in stores but not restaurants around here. If you can handle some heat, ask them to include some extra chili peppers. It is SO delicious! Order the pad thai with extra egg and extra peanuts to give it the crunch and body, and it really is pretty divine. My son's favorite is the Thai omelette with pork. It's a HUGE portion, and the 2 yo ate the entire order by himself b/c it was THAT good. This review is making me hungry, and I think it's time to pick up the phone and order me some pad thai & naam again!

I came here last night with a friend for dinner. Yelp told me it was the best thai in the area, so we did it. We walked in and found ourselves in a misleadingly simple shop with two tables and big open kitchen. Menu is well organized. The biggest problem, and it loses one star for this- is the language barrier. This place is run by strictly Thai people. The people ahead of us didn't get the right order because the cashier didn't know what he said. We quickly learned from that so, as condescending and racist as it sounds, use simple phrases. They like it if you point to the item you want on the menu. Spice levels are on the number scale, starting at zero. We waited for only about 20 minutes for our food, and a steady stream of people came in and out (you can order on the phone too) We got our food and went over to campus to eat. Now the part of the review you've been waiting for: The fried rice, spring rolls and pad thai with shrimp are all excellent! The pad thai is so flavorful. Portion was huge too. I ate every bit of it. The rice was not sticky rice (thank goodness) so it still had some water content to it which gave it a little substance and didn't dry your mouth out. The spring rolls were similar. Juicy, hot, fresh vegetables wrapped in a neat little roll, perfectly browned and good and crunchy. This place is a major winner in my book!

They cook and prepare the food in front of you so you see its not canned/frozen veggies. Tasty. Good portions. Cheap price. Place is meant for takeout but has 2 small tables inside. Friendly staff. Recommended!

Thai Express is one of my favorite hole-in-the-wall spots. Decently priced, this takeout is spicy and delicious! My favorite dish is the Holy Basil Stir Fry with tofu, they really know how to cook tofu here. Bring your cash, no cards accepted.

Thai Express is a veteran starter in our take out rotation. It's been in my fave 5 for past 10 years. And the metaphors could go on. Needless to say, we're fans. The Food: They have a full menu, but for our purposes it's quite simple - pad thai and veggie spring rolls. Do we eat the pad thai because we are unadventurous eaters and pad thai is the prototypical, stereotypical order for an American? Nope - I happen to think they have the best pad thai in the city, so why stray? It has the wonderful balance of sweet and savory and just that bit of tangy that comes from tamarind and can't be replicated (when I spent way to many times trying to make pad thai before looking at a recipe, I could never figure out what I was missing - enter tamarind: game changer). Their noodles are one part sticky, one part slick. Crunchy peanuts, your choice of meat/tofu, fresh bean sprouts, and little pieces of cucumber on the side to cleanse your palate when you're done. At the restaurant, they like to make fun of me because I always ask for lots of soy sauce too. Their spicy scale is 1-10 - I am usually a 4 or 5, Sarah a 3 or 4 - and they will bring the heat if you dare go in the 7-10 range. Before I was a pad thai purist, I often asked them to add $1 of veggies - broccoli, carrot, cauliflower, etc. And I repeat, I believe this is the best pad thai in the city. The veggie spring rolls are flaky crunchy, then chewy, then veggie crunchy, with a yummy flavorful dipping sauce. A new addition to the specials board was something they had a different name for, but appeared to be crab rangoon. You can taste something from the sea, which is a nice touch when it seems like "crab" rangoon typically means fried cream cheese (which is still good, by the way). Eat your apps as soon as you can so they don't soften up. As I mentioned, Thai Express also makes other dishes - they've got some great curries and more. But, I don't think you will ever be disappointed by going back to the basics. The Ingredients: I'm not aware of any local, seasonal, organic, etc. ingredients here. I'll have to ask next time I go. At this price point, I doubt it ($6.50 for pad thai). The Story: As I mentioned above, I've been coming here since my early days in Cincinnati. They've had the same awesome staff for as long as I remember. There are a couple folks who have come and gone, but it must not be a bad place to work because there are several people who have been there going on a decade. They are always fun to talk with while waiting for pickups. Next time I go in, I'll pick up some tidbits of info and add an update (as well as some interior pics if they don't mind). If you enjoyed this review, there's more at Amateur Foodies.

Good and Spicy! Not your typical scale of heat that I am used to. The Red Curry was very tasty but needed about 4 cups of water to wash away the heat!!!!

  • Terry S.

Great cheap, fast & greasy thai food. Entrees cost about $6 and for me, they are at least two meals each. Two thai ladies and one or two american boys will slave for your masaman curry and almost pay you to take it. It is primarily a take-out place because there are only two tables (and those are usually taken by people waiting for to-go food). The wait can sometimes be a few minutes, but fear not: you can call ahead! And if you don't call, there is plenty to do right across the street: shop at the carryout, pick up the New York Times and a mocha at Starbucks, or find yourself an old novel at Duttenhoffer's bookstore. Post Script: I tried the mango salad for the first time a few months ago, and can now say that in addition to being cheap and yummilicious, this place has options I had never tried, nor even imagined. This salad is hot in both senses of the word. It comes with rice, tofu and fresh lettuce (which is kept separate in your to-go container to preserve its crispness).

Good lawd, the stir-fried basil eggplant with beef was amazing!!! Every part of the dish was infused with flavor, the eggplant was steamed beforehand but it worked, and they weren't too stingy with the beef. I let the juice soak into the rice and it was yummm. I thought I was being a bit ambitious with a spice level of 5, but I actually could have handled more, so keep that in mind if you're a spice-lover. Really though, for $8 it was a generous portion that filled me up well. There was a 20-minute wait, but this was a Friday night and everyone was piling in so I totally understand. I ate in, and though the space was still cramped they had new padded chair-stools and I see that they even cleaned up the window area since the last time I visited. The staff was also very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the Thai iced coffee I ordered. I don't know WHAT that was, but it did not taste like coffee and was cloyingly sweet. I'd probably try the Thai tea instead. Also, remember kids: Ca$h only!

Best Thai food in town if not the entire east coast. I miss living in Clifton only because of this place. Great prices, great food and great staff. Other businesses should take note.

  • James S.

A wonderful thai takeout place in Clifton. Call ahead, pick it up - there's virtually no seating. Their pad thai is quite serviceable, and is among the best in Cincinnati. If you need a quick thai fix, and you don't have time to really sit down, and you want *cheap*, this is the place for you. Be sure to give their thai beef jerky a try. Sometimes it's a bit too burnt, but when it's not, it's quite unique and tasty!

  • Erin L.

Yum! Great, authentic Thai. Their menu isn't huge be it definitely has variety, even for veges. I have had all of their different curry tofus and my favorite always becomes which one I'm eating because they're all so great. They also have these excellent chicken skewers which you dip in a peanut sauce. Their spring rolls have a nice thin shell. Hell, everything there is good and now I'm wishing I were in the area for a midnight snack. The only problems- tight eat-in quarters and they don't take credit cards. come prepared for that though and you will be delighted.

My favorite Thai in cincinnati! Granted, I've only tried a few others, but it's been so hard to venture out when you find perfection! It's cheap. It's delicious. It's the perfect carry out meal. When I am worn out from the kids and can't imagine cooking dinner, Thai express comes to the rescue. I call my husband up, and I don't have to work hard to convince him. He's always excited for a chance to eat here. We always get the pad Thai. Actually, we've never had anything else. This is the problem when you find a great dish. You can't keep yourself for ordering it again and again. The pad Thai chicken is great but I also get a pad Thai shrimp a lot. Their spice levels are from 1-10. I usually get a 2-3 so I can share it with the kids and we are fine. I normally don't like it too spicy anyway. I love the authenticity of his place. You just know these recipes have been passed Down for generations. Cheap, yummy, addicting! Once you eat it, it will get its claws in you.

If you're looking for cheap takeout or decent Thai food, you won't find much better in this area of Cincinnati. For less than fast food prices, you can get something that has actual flavor! The holy basil is great, and they won't hold back on spices if you ask for a 10. A great place for students, and others looking for an inexpensive meal from a local mom-and-pop.

  • Linds B.

Best Chicken Pad Thai in Cincinnati. It's also very cheap, who wouldn't love that? Their Green Curry is also tasty but it's the Chicken Pad Thai that keeps me coming back, more often than I probably should!

We miss this place sooooo much. After eating their pad Thai and fried rice for more than ten years while waiting for our kids learning music and dance at CCM, now we cannot find anything even close to this in Charlotte.

This little shack is run by a family of little old thai ladies who couldn't be sweeter. Thai Express is a lunch staple for Cliftoners. The space is very small and virtually take out only. There are only two small high top tables to sit at. It's not the cleanest place, but it sure does crank out some delicious authentic thai dishes. Their popular menu item is the pad thai. It really is the best pad thai in the city. I have branched out to try other dishes like the sweet basil stir fry and coconut curry. If you're brave go with a spicy level 10, I usually stick to a bare able but flavorful 7. They usually have daily specials that sometimes peak my interest. The only complaint I have about the dishes is the inconsistency of the vegetable side in the dishes. Sometimes my onions and peppers are 3 to 4 different sizes.

  • Jessie T.

Best pad thai in Cincinnati.. don't let the styrofoam box or sketchy interior fool you. All of the cooks in there are Thai, so you know just by that it has to be at least decent. Their portions are also pretty big for the small price you pay.. which is always a plus! Their other menu items such as the fried tofu and the tom yum soup are great as well. This is the perfect place yo stop by if you're wanting to stay in and order some take-out. Go do it. You will not be failed.

  • Kay D.

I have had my fair share of Thai food throughout my life and let me tell you.... The pad Thai was excellent BUT very small in portion and overpriced. The thai tea was great and they used good quality tea and not the cheap version with fillers & food coloring. I also had the chicken soup and that was very sour and bland. I felt like it was just a bowl of spicy coconut liquidity thing someone whipped up last minute. Sorry but I won't be returning anytime soon.

Super good Thai food for the price! Wife and I ordered take out one cold day and this place was one of the best. I would love to go back again and try other dishes. Rate is one of the best Thai places I have been to.

On this cold evening, my husband went out to pick up some spicy Thai Express. I had to update my review because of two amazing dishes: 1) Tom Yum, a spicy and sour soup that is so flavorful and delicious. I ordered the mushroom, and everything about the soup was perfect for a cold night. The heat was strong but not painful, the soup was salty, but not oily, and the flavors were so complex, I could not stop eating it! 2) Tofu sweet chili paste stir fry. I asked for 10/10 in spiciness, and though my mouth was never on fire, the heat was excellent. But the flavors-rich, sweet, with a great sauce, and HUGE portions (seemingly much bigger than the pad thai) made me realize that it is great to try dishes off the beaten path. Such a delightful meal!

Yes oh yes! I used to go here all the time but haven't in awhile due to relocation. This place is a dive, but the food is AMAZING! You're hit with Thai aroma as soon as you walk in because the kitchen is completely exposed. The owner is very friendly and funny, we would always joke around with each other, I never got anything besides the Pad Thai or Pad See Eew because it was so good. Definitely worth a try, just know it's cash only before you make the trek.

I can't believe I've never reviewed Thai Express. It's like waking up and realizing you haven't told your mom that you love her lately. Thai Express is hands down the best Thai food in Cincinnati. The garlic/black pepper stir fry with chicken is my favorite thing, and my gf loves the drunken noodles with tofu. Delightful veggie spring rolls are great, crispy and enjoyable. I also truly enjoy the sweet chili stir fry and the holy basil stir fry, and the pad thai is excellent. You can get a ton of food for under $20 which makes it a winner in my book. Remember your cash and call ahead so you don't gnaw off your own arm while you have to sit there waiting for your food-- the smells are life-changing.

Oh. My. Gawd. Three huge dinners and two appetizers for $27. Seriously? So inexpensive and SO DELICIOUS. beyond words. Garlic pepper chicken, drunken noodles with tofu, and red curry with chicken. I plan on going again for lunch tomorrow.

Seriously authentic Thai food, eh? With the cooks preparing your meal 10 feet away from you, how much more real can it get? My friend and I split an order of the chicken pad thai and the black pepper pork. This is a total college joint because for less than ten bucks, you get a heaping ton of food! Both dishes were too greasy and a tad too sweet but still pretty good--for less than ten bucks, and a lady as old as my grandma behind the counter, I'll take what I can get!

The best thai I have found in cincinnati. The mango salad is awesome and not something I would usually get. Remember it's cash only and is also take out - worth it!

Thai express was highly recommended by a few friends and it lives up to the expectations. I was highly impressed with their efficiency and food. There is not much room in the little shop for waiting so I will recommend calling ahead of time. Also "CASH ONLY". Food was very very good. I have heard from many Thai people about the authenticity of their cuisine. Hopefully some day there will be many Thai Expresses around Cincinnati area so more people can enjoy Delicious and Authentic Thai food.

That Express was my first introduction into Thai cuisine 17 years ago when she opened and I lived about 2 blocks east...across from the since vanished Taco Bell and next to Christie's Rathskeller. If you remember those days you know... My sister brought me a styro of Pad Thai and my life was changed. My visits are usually about once or twice a month, so I wouldn't consider myself a regular by any means. Mainly because parking is a pain in the ass which really is only the fault of Clifton, inherently, as a place itself. Family owned with few minor staff additions over the years (an American dude who has been with her for about a decade and has the same wok mojo as all of the Thai woman there) and the quality and consistency is amazing. I usually get them same thing every time: Pad Thai, no egg, heat level 2. Not overly oily/greasy like some other places (ahem Bangkok Express you should take a note here) and the fresh bean sprouts and neatly carved cucumbers add the respite of cool to the delicious heat of the entree. Fresh ingredients, friendly knowledgeable information about the menu and from order to bag in hand...fast. The owner is usually one of the people preparing your meal and is happy to chat for a moment to help you venture out into the menu without fear and equally as concerned to double check when you've ordered a 8 or 10 on the spice level just to make sure you know what you're getting yourself into with Thai spices. Her cash only business model does present an issue in today's debit card world, but a quick trip to the ATM half a block down is small penance for a delicious authentic Thai meal...so suck it up youngsters and hipsters, Carry some cash and be rewarded.

I called off the great reviews. I was shocked at how bad this food was. It was dry and way too salty, at least I think that was what I was tasting. The only cool thing that came from going to this place was that I saw the new McMillan and Calhoun. Wow, I guess it has been a long time since I staggered those streets.

This place has been hit or miss with me. They changed the peanut sauce a while back and instead of creamy it's more gritty. The food is either amazing or tastes like dirty skillet. But I keep coming back. I hear they started taking credit cards now!

One of the best Thai takeout I know. They accept orders over the phone but even if you order in person, they will get you out quickly, even though they are always super busy. What to order? Pad Thai, hands down. It is just as good if not better than many Thai restaurants I know, and it's only $7. Their garlic stir fry is exceptional too.

CASH ONLY. I love the portions and prices, but the pad Thai just was too sweet (and I ordered it spicy) perhaps with too much sauce? Next time, I'll definitely go with one of the curries.

I regularly thank the Lord Almighty that this place exists. After traveling to Thailand and eating real Pad Thai, it was hard to find a place that could come close to the authentic dish. 4 Stars and snaps for Thai Express for being the only place I know of to come close. Somewhat of a dive, most will likely opt for carry out (very limited seating inside anyway). As others have noted, bring cash if you actually want to eat the food you ordered.

I ordered extra spicy pad Thai and it really wasn't spicy at all. Flavor was good, but I wanted more heat!

Their pad thai is soooooooooooo amazing. The best pad thai I've ever eaten and I know I'll miss this the most when I leave Cincinnati. They have 1 to 10 scale of spiciness you can choose from and the portion is pretty large too. Oh and they only accept cash!!

Nice place for carry-out Thai food. If you want to eat in, there are 2 small cafe tables, but the majority of their business seems to be in take-out. You can call ahead or just walk in. I placed an order at the counter for chicken pad thai, watched them make it right in front of me, and walked out with it in less than 10 minutes. The pad thai portion was smaller than I used to, but an appropriate size for lunch and at only $6, a good deal. I ordered a spice level 3 (on a scale from 1-10) and found it to definitely have kick, but not eye-watering. I can't say I'd make a special trip to eat here, but if you're in the neighborhood, it's a good, quick, cheap lunch.

Great foods for great prices. Family owned and operated. Feels like your stepping into a Thai home, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Based on the ratings I was sure I was making a good choice for lunch. However, the pad thai chicken I ordered was too dry for me and had very little flavor and color. Most pad thai dishes have egg, and green onion added to it with a nice coat of juice to enhance flavor. I guess having none in my dish was a disappointment. The noodles were also tough and hard to chew. What it did have was an overwhelming amount of peanuts crushed on top and some hot cucumber slices as a garnish which stunk after opening my to go box. Maybe I just got the wrong item to try...?

Seriously excellent. It's a mom and pop shop, and the flavors are spectacular. I would easily give it 5 stars if I had not had better. The only places I've had better Thai food were in NYC, Hong Kong and Singapore (never quite made it to Thailand yet). The spicy scale is definitely on a Cincinnati curve. Order an 8, and it will be as spicy as the mildest thing on the menu in the South China sea. So aim high if you actually want any heat.

I've been to this place once on a recent visit to Cincy. But, even from that just single visit, this take out joint has set some really high standards in my book for Thai!!!!! My wife and I didn't get take out. Instead, we opted to sit at one of the two tables in the place to eat our meal. I would highly suggest if you have few extra minutes in your hand, please take that time to eat there instead of getting take-out. The ladies working behind the counter are super friendly and more than happy to chat up with us and provide extra attention in creating our dishes and all with big smiles on their faces. So, if you are a native of the Cincy area or just visiting like me, venture out towards the university neighborhood and treat yourself with some kick ass awesome thai food from this (pardon the cliche) hole in the wall joint.

CASH ONLY I have a thai friend and he says that this makes him feel like he's at home. The food is full of flavor, you can watch them cook it in front of you. I always do take out and I can easily get two meals from 1 order of padthai.

THE BEST! I'm from San Francisco and Thai Express makes the best pad thai I've ever eaten. The ladies who work there are so nice and friendly (not to mention adorable) and the prices are ridiculously cheap! I go here at least once a week. During the summer and warmer months I loove getting it to go and taking it to a park but recently I've actually ben eating in. There are only two tables but I've never seen anyone dining in. My boyfriend always gets curry and he loves it. It's my favorite Thai place, but also check out Mai Thai in florence!

The worst part of this place? The location. Parking is obnoxious. And the streets around UC are always a wreck. This isn't the best Thai food I've ever had. But...it's about half the price of anywhere else and everything is cooked fresh to order. So yeah, is it the best curry ever? No...but it does arrive hot, spicy and fresh. Ambience...nope this place doesn't have it. You probably want your food to go or risk catching one of the two tables in a corner. Cash only. Don't be afraid to order high on the spice scale as they tend to hold back on it. The sign of a solid Thai place? As their panang curry isn't super amazing, I've actually branched out on the menu. And every dish I have goes along these lines. I take my first bite. It's not bad. Mainly because Thai food is seriously...never bad. Second bite...well really this is good but I don't know if I would order this dish again. But then something happens...the more you eat, the more delicious it gets and the more you eat. It's an endless cycle. Seriously, try the sweet and sour chicken. At first, I was unimpressed...but then I just kept eating it. And no, this isn't Chinese sweet and sour. I think I was expecting more traditional Thai spice but this was a lighter, sweeter sauce.

The Pad Thai is to die for! It's the only thing I've tried on the menu, and I know I should be more adventurous, but it's seriously that good! It's cash only, but you can run to an ATM and the ladies will hold your food for you. Great service! Parking can be a challenge for those who don't live in Clifton.

Let's go through what Thai Express is not: Thai Express is not fancy, nor grand, nor is it one of those new-fangled places where you, "Sit down at a table and eat your meal." It is not any of those things. What That Express is, is fast, cheap and delicious. Are you looking for fast, cheap and delicious? My god have you come to the right place. Thai Express, located on the main strip of McMillian (next to Mac's Pizza Pub and around around the corner from the Clifton Chipotle) is basically a counter and a kitchen. You come in, you order, you get your food and go. I'd even skip the first part and order before you get there to save time. (If you do figure out what you want while there, the food takes about 10 minutes to create. So damn quick.) For such a small operation, they've got a pretty good selection of food. A lot of amazing noodle dishes, as one might expect, but some great things like delicious spring rolls. Mmm... I went simple and got the basic pad thai at a spice level of 6. It was fantastic. Tasty, hot and a giant serving. I ate half and then ate the other half for lunch the next day and both were full meals for sure. Damn. Plus, that plus the spring rolls cost me about $10. Double damn. NOTE: It's CASH ONLY! Please prepare yourself for this! Plus, street parking can be a bit tricky (a bit annoying when you want to run in, grab and go), so also prepare yourself for that. Loved it. No atmosphere at all, no wait, no sitting. Great food to go. What more could you want?

Ok, so I've been to this place a dozen or so times since moving here last August. If I had written this review a couple months ago, it would have been gleaming with all 5 stars. Unfortunately, the last couple visits have been slightly below par for them. Still better than most of their competition, but they're giving up ground for no reason. First off, the pad thai is their most popular dish and it's very very good. Buuut, having lived in Thailand for four years, I didn't fall in love with it. The dish I did fall in love with is the holy basil stir fry with beef. Holy sh#t! It's a showstopper. They lost a star because the last couple times I've visited, the portions have shrunk considerably. They used to stuff their styrofoam containers to the brim, giving you enough food for a late night snack on the leftovers. Not quite as fortunate my last couple visits. I might have just hit them at a bad time, but they might be strategically cutting back on their previously overly generous portions. I can't fault them entirely, but it's still disappointing to see. Regardless, it's some of the best thai in the city and it's definitely the least expensive. Order ahead and pick it up. Ask what specials they're currently offering. Lad na is a must have if it's available.

So fast, so friendly so cheap. Parking is a little tough but it's not a big deal since you're probably just running in to grab takeout. There are two small tables inside which are fun to eat at if you can snag one, you get to watch the super friendly staff cooking up a storm. The food is solid and $6-10 a dish (which a petite person like myself can usually get two meals out of). You MUST try the coconut sticky rice with mango. When I got it the woman who made it cut up an entire mango before deciding that it wasn't good enough and starting on a new one - which absolutely delighted me. It was the most perfectly ripe mango I've ever had, and the sweet sticky rice is to die for.

Holy crap is this some dam good, spicy, cheap Pad Thai. If it wasn't for the fact that it's on the other side of campus for me (15 min fast walk one way + 10-20 minutes to cook depending on the number of people= 10 minutes for me to scarf it down before the next class) I'm pretty sure I'd be eating it a lot more often. My friend and I love the Pad thai here--it was the first thing we had and we could just never move on from it to try other things. They have a spice scale of 1-10, of which we usually get a 7. Granted though we're this odd little Dessi & Latino duo who lovee our spices. And my eyes are often watering at the 7. For the average american I would recommend starting on a 5 before moving on if you want a spice kick... The Pad Thai is only $6 (they only accept cash btws but as a student I've gotten used to having to use for cash for the joints around campus) and the serving is good enough that me and friend split a box ($3 lunch, oh yeah) and we're good.... though I suppose we're petites if that makes a difference. The ladies are very nice, though depending on whose taking your order you may want to repeat it. And they cook everything in front of you. The place has two tables, but we always take it to go. Not really a good place to sit. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 is because of my last experience. I was the one sent on Mission Pad Thai that time around, and after being a sweaty mess from the trip (heat + distance + intolerably heavy backpack, which we always overlook for the sake of the Pad Thai) I open up the box to dig in... And this giant (IMO) mutated (IMO--it was like a beetle but with grasshopper legs) black bug jumps out at me. After shrieking and jumping back, I didn't retrieve the box. And I didn't eat lunch that day (my friend was pretty mad at me for the lack of our lunch). I don't know how it happened. The lady closed the box right after scooping in the piping hot noodles, in front of me. But since that day I couldn't bring myself to go back there. The black bug haunts me. My friend tells me to get over it because she wants yummy Pad Thai. Take from that what you will. They still have hands down the best Pad Thai I've ever eaten.

If you like Pad Thai, this is your place. This is the best Pad Thai in the city, hands down. When you're the best, you don't need frills and this is no-frills dining at its best. Served with fresh cucumber and sprouts, the Pad Thai is the star at Thai Express. I often think about trying something else, but the Pad Thai here has an oddly magnetic-like pull. At work, we say "we're getting Pad Thai, you in?" No need to say from where or ask what the person wants. The only question is "what spice level do you want yours?" I'm the "8", my cubicle-mate is the "5." We always get the dinner portions because we learned the hard way that the Pad Thai is so good, you get disappointed when you get the lunch portion and it's all gone. Best way to order is to call it in, as you're leaving for their location; it's ready in 10 minutes. We usually go in pairs, as parking is an issue, so one person runs in to pick up and pay while the other person waits in front of the door and sometimes has to circle the block when a Metro bus comes and boots them out of their designated stop area. The ladies at Thai Express are part of the charm and their hospitality is as warm as that spice level 8 makes you. There is a small seating area, but take-out is the way to go, so you can relax and enjoy the goodness. The only draw-back, other than the parking situation is that they don't take credit cards, but it's well worth the trip to the ATM on the way to experience this Pad Thai.

Walking in, I knew I would love this place. The prices are dirt cheap, and the woman cooking the food has the same smile your neighbor's mom has when she brings out the fresh baked cookies. The whole place smells of simmering onions. Anyways, the food is awesome - tasty, fresh, spicy, piping hot off the stove. The portions are generous, and they're made to order quickly. It looks like a hole in the wall, but that's fine because it's take-out anyways. Bottom Line: I'll be back for the best bang-for-your-buck Thai food in Cincinnati.

  • Herman N.

This place is off the hook. I love Thai food and been to Thailand for vaca before so I know a little about Thai food. Price is real good for the portion size. Taste is just like every other Thai restaurant I've had in new York, the bay and Thailand. This is a big deal for this area becAuse most stuff are just Americanized for all the picky white folks. Decor is pretty much just a ghetto fast food joint with an open kitchen. I mustve been lucky cause they place got packed while I was waiting for my food. This is not a sit down joint cause its pretty grimy. If you want real Thai food, come here. If you want a pretty place to sit, don't come here.

Never had the pleasure of eating here actually but wanted to share that they do NOT deliver. I tried to give the lady who answered the call the feedback that their Yelp page does say they deliver and they should change that but she it didn't sound like she understand that much English. I will try this place when I get the chance to be at the location.

Best pad thai in Cincinnati. I eat here about twice of month and it's always something I look forward to. I've been adventurous and tried other stuff on the menu, but none of it really stands out when compared to the other Thai joints in town. However, the pad thai here is so killer, that I just keep coming back. Be sure to ask for a wedge of lime for the noodles, since it brings the pad thai to life. PS, if the food doesn't give you the sniffles, it's not hot enough!

  • Jeremy B.

Don't judge a restaurant by it's storefront, this place is the BOMB! I know it doesn't look like much on the outside, or even the inside for that matter, but reserve any judgments until you open that Styrofoam container when you get home. When you open it, the smell will caress your being and the taste will send it home. I'm just gonna leave the food description at that. It's meant to be no more than a take-out place, so I won't judge the decor or the seating. Just go in, grab your food, and die happy.

  • Jessica P.

Thai Express has amazing pad thai. Is it the best pad thai that I have ever had? Not sure, but it is fast and cheap which are both positives in my book. I love coming here and then stopping by Tea N' Bowl for a strawberry banana snow.

It's hard to beat this place. Their food is incredible, it's not very expensive, and they give you generous portions. The only downside is they do NOT accept credit card. That's the only thing that's preventing me from giving them 5 stars. Nevertheless, this is my favorite place to get Pad Thai or Chicken Fried Rice if I'm feeling boring.

    (4)
  • Marissa Z.

I've given up trying other Thai restaurants in Cincinnati; I can never beat the taste or price of Thai Express. Fancier restaurants in Cincinnati may beat Thai Express in the ambience battle (OK, there's no battle, it's clear who wins in that department) but from my experience, the food from other establishments is always bland, strange tasting, or missing that certain-something. I always get chicken or tofu pad thai, but friends of mine who've gotten curry dishes were equally as happy as I always am. Their Thai iced tea is also worth trying, it's strong and sweet and great with the milk they put in it, but not too strong like some other places I've had it. Unfortunately they only take cash and don't really have room to sit, but that just shows how authentic they are, right? If I could only ever get take-out from one restaurant in Cincinnati, it would always be Thai Express.

This will be short but awesome, just like Thai Express (sort of). Thai Express is tiny, authentic, fast, cheap, and SO GOOD. There's a reason they've won best carry out in Cincinnati years on years on years. They've never gotten my order wrong, the food has always been really great, and those ladies are just too cute. I like going here in the dead heat of summer when it's steamy and sweaty inside and pretending I'm actually in Thailand. Best fast Thai in Cincinnati, no competition.

Best pad thai in Cincinnati. Always the same staff and they are super friendly. The place is small, only 2 tables. It's worth it though. Cash only but the prices are cheap.

I'm a sucker for good Thai food, and once I saw all the positive reviews on here, I knew I had to try Thai Express. This place has awesome takeout for dirt cheap. You can get your dish on a spiciness rating from 1-10 (I only got a 2 because I'm a wimp, lol). Takes about 10-15 minutes and you are ready to walk out the door with your meal. I also saw a couple folks pop in that had called ahead. I got the Massaman curry, and it was delicious. I plan on trying the Pad Thai next, it seems like their most popular dish (and my other favorite Thai dish). Either dish is only $7. They have several other options as well though if neither of those suit your taste. I have definitely found my Thai food spot! FYI Cash only and parking can be tough as it's close to UC's campus.

2 words. Mango salad! So amazing. So obsessed. My boyfriend finally starting making it at home so I would shut up about it. This place is so great!! They are also super awesome about dietary stuff (aka not putting fish sauce in everything). Love love love!

I often call in and order some Pad Thai on my way home. This place is great, inexpensive, and convenient. There are only 2 small tables and their mostly being used by people waiting to pick up their order. The kitchen (which you can't help noticing) looks like you're in Bangkok.....I keep looking for Anthony Bourdain back there filming a show.

Great Thai food. The best Thai I have ever had was in Chicago- and it isn't quite there, but that was an upscale, sit down with a nice bottle of wine restaurant. I am judging this place for what it is- more fast food, defiantly not fine dining. Thai Express is delicious, fast and cheap. Near a college campus, you can't ask for more than that. I have had great food every time. I always order a 10 in spiciness. Sometimes I think they don't believe that I want it that hot, and I would judge it is more of a 7, but they might also be making a judgement call as to not drown out the flavors of the dish, which I am fine with. I am vegan and they have a ton of dishes available, I still haven't gotten through all of them. They have a couple tables you can sit at an eat if you want, but this really is a carry out place, not dine in. Cash only.

Great prices--perfect for a college crowd. I'm a huge fan of pad thai, and their pad thai is a great value--not the best I've ever had, but still good. My boyfriend loved the garlic basil stir fry. Like others have said, take-out is the way to go here, and cash is king.

This place is great! I sent the hubs for take-out and first he called me to ask where the h#$@ I was sending him since it's not in the nicest area. Then he called back to say he had the food and he felt like he was back in Bangkok! Said the line was out the door and it was super authentic smelling while they cooked individual meals in woks. We both got extra spicy red curry and it was perfect! Will definitely hit this place up again and next time, the pad Thai. He said it looked awesome.

Thai Express is definitely my go to place for Thai takeout. It may be take out only but it's also one of the best Thai restaurants around! I spent some time traveling in Thailand and this Pad Thai is the closest thing to what I had there. The parking is kind of a pain but the nearby paid parking lot is usually open. They also had pad see ew even though it's not on the menu: bonus! Not only is the food excellent it's also reasonably priced. The serving of pad Thai is big enough to be split in 2 so in that sense it's even cheaper! Based on these other reviews it sounds like I need to branch out from my usual dishes...maybe next time!

4.5 because of affordability, quality of service, accesibility, and environment. From the outside, one might have low expectations. However, for a good price one can get decent food (not excellent, but decent for the price). The food is basic, and the staff are very friendly. Quick, easy, satisfactory, and cheap.

THE best pad thai in the city, great green curry, really fantastic mango salad if you're looking for something lighter. The folks who work here are fantastic and SO friendly. Also, for vegetarians and vegans, they are very respectful and will leave out the traditional Thai fish sauce. Not only are the food and people fantastic, the prices are fantastic as well (bring cash! No cards accepted). Love this place.

I'm very picky about my international food, since I grew up in a multicultural environment and on foods from various locales. That said, Thai Express has the best pad thai and thai fried rice in Cincinnati, and some of the best I've had period. The place is kind of a hole-in-the-wall, but I think that such places tend to have the best food, and this place is no exception. The prices are lower than other Thai places in the area, but tastes a whole lot better. It's too small to eat in, but is excellent for take-out. When I lived in Clifton, I went here often. Now that I don't live in the neighborhood anymore, I don't go there as often (parking in the area is horrible), but I still go there on occasion. Their food is just really fresh and tasty, and it's something I enjoy, and it's something I can eat with my husband - he usually doesn't care for about any food that isn't traditional American, but he'll eat this.

I'm really kind of kicking myself for not trying Thai food until after college. I definitely was missing out when this place was within walking distance, and now I find myself fighting the McMillian parking and traffic to get here. This is a fantastic, no-frills take-out restaurant. I wouldn't plan on dining in here as the seating is very limited. But don't let the dingy store front discourage you from stopping in. For the quality of food vs. the price, you are not likely to find a better deal in Clifton. The food is super fresh and you get a good size portion. I wouldn't worry about calling ahead for a single order. It takes about 2 minutes for them to prepare most of their selections, and it's fun to watch them cook it in front of you.

Best pad thai. The ladies are always very nice and remember you from last time. They are actually from hours north of Bangkok, and it shows in the awesome authentic food. Cash only and they can cook these guys up in 10 minutes.

Super cheap, super spicy and delicious Thai food. The place looks mega sketchy (both on the outside and the inside) but the employees are so friendly and make great food at great prices! ($5-7) Their tofu is just okay, but the stir fry dishes are awesome. And spicy!

Every time I come to the 'Nati, I have to eat here. One time I came on a Sunday and they were closed. That's when I decided never to visit Cincinnati on a Sunday again. One time we had a friend pick us up some Thai Express before her flight to to Austin Texas & bring it to us. I don't know if the TSA will let you on anymore if you get it at spicy level 9 anymore though. Some hipster didn't like my review of Thai Express. To him, (I think it's a him but it's hard to tell with hipsters) I say get a "spicy 10" and XO.

  • Alex W.

I agree with the best pad thai in the city. The staff is so friendly, when I asked for a 9 on the spice scale the lady said I was in for some hurt and offered a free refreshment. Every morning on my way to class I have to walk by the place and the smell tortures me when I can't stop in for some amazing food. I do wish they would accept more than just cash.

This is hands down the best pad thai in Cincinnati. I've tried it all, and anytime I want quality pad thai, I make the drive to Thai Express. It's quite a hole in the wall, but that just adds to the charm. They have a full menu, a board for specials, and a cooler with a variety of drinks, but to be honest, the only thing I've ever had is the pad thai. The chicken pad thai is amazing, but the tofu pad thai is really a standout. The tofu is crispy like it's fried but still soft. Thai Express only has a few tables inside and typically it's pretty warm in there, so I recommend getting it to go. Also, it's cash only, Remember that! If I had one complaint it would be that the spice level definitely varies on who is making it. I've had a 2 that had no spice and a 2 where I was panting from the heat. So order the spice level at your own risk!

This has to be the best carry out Thai place in Cincinnati. I love how simple it is. While it comes off as a dive, that is exactly why everyone I know loves it! If they tried to get fancy it would loose its charm. Everything is made right in front of you. You can smell all the spices floating in the air. I get cravings for this place all the time. This is the one thing I miss most about the business district along McMillan Avenue. All the new food chains along Ludlow will never compete with this amazing place. Note: They only take cash & parking can be difficult on McMillan. Just writing this review makes me crave it. Mmmmmm...... I can smell the Pad Thai at a 6

OMG!!!! I can not even express how much I love this place!!!! The veggie spring rolls are pretty much the greatest thing ever! They are super crunchy and the dipping sauce is the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. The mango salad, oh the mango salad. Can I be in love with food, with a salad? Well I am and it is true love. The sweetness of the mango compliments the crunchy tofu and spicy sauce perfectly. Here's a tip if you're feeling like ordering the drunkards stir fry, order it with noodles instead of the rice. It's good with the rice but amazing with the noodles. The service is always good. They are fast and super nice. I cannot recomend this place more- best Thai food for sure.

This has become my go to lunch spot. Except for Sundays because they are closed on Sundays. Which should be considered a crime against humanity. Now I have been to Thailand. And for every cook in Thailand there is a recipe for Pad Thai. Well all those cooks should retire, because the Thai Express Pad Thai is amazing ( I was going to say orgasmic, but really that is just too far and lets keep this PG, folks). Now I must tell you I have never had anything else on their menu. Only because when I enter that little shack of a resturant, my mind goes primitive and all I can think is "food, pad thai, good". Now I think they are a little heavy with the bean sprouts, so I ask for none on mine. And it doesn't really change anything, in fact, I think it makes it better. Though sometimes there is so much egg in it I think I am eating an omelette. But hell its like 6 bucks, so who cares. It is just good eats. So next time your in the mood for good Thai and your wallet is a little light then head over to Thai Express. They will treat you right. Also for those wondering the reason why I am posting an updated review is because I want people to see how awesome this place is but with the fact that is just another 5 star review added to the bunch. I think it is safe to say the People know.

I absolutely love pad thai and was looking for a solid Thai place when i moved to Cincinnati. Thai Express is as good as it gets. I've only done take-out from here, but the pad thai is absolutely incredible. I like my stuff spicy, but I have yet to go past a 6-7 on the hot scale. You get good bank for your buck here too. Delicious.

Great, authentic, and cheap Thai takeout. We don't even live near the area, but make the effort to get there. I love the massaman curry!

Don't know what I'd do without Thai Express! Convenient location, cheap, and delicious! My favorites are the Green Curry, Panang Curry, and Chicken Pad Thai. They also have a nice beverage selection - I love that they have San Pelligrino Limonata! It's also awesome that they make the food right in front of you - no mysteries. Only downside is it's cash only but that's probably part of what keeps it cheap.

Go to Thai Express in Clifton. Order a variety of dishes. (Make sure one of them is the Tom Ka Gai soup.) Cram yourself into the corner behind the drink fridge and watch an adorable Thai grandma whip up your order. Leave a tip and take your food to the nearest place where you can sit and eat (one of the two tables in front of the window, if you're lucky). Eat. Weep with joy. Spend the rest of your life wishing you'd discovered this place sooner. Repeat as needed.

My favorite Thai food in Cincy. Fast, hot and very authentic. The food is made by two Thai women who are using woks that have been seasoned many times a day for years! Try the Black pepper garlic chicken dish or any if their curries. This place is cheap (CASH ONLY) and fast especially if you call ahead of time. The portions are huge and everything is always fresh. You should go eat there. Today. For real.

HANDS DOWN the best authentic Thai Place in town. Not just saying it because I worked there in the latter 90s. Their pad thai and spring rolls are FANTASTIC. And the staff (Hey, Wantana & Nikki!) are the real deal and the rest of the staff are friendly and efficient (if they're anything like they were when I worked there). For the price, you can't beat it for no frills, authentic and tasty Thai...

DITTO to pretty much every other comment. It's a dive. Small. Cash only. No tables. But despite all outward appearances, the food is delicious. To be fair, I've only had the Pad Thai (best I've ever had anywhere) and the spring rolls. The ladies are too cute and always friendly; they truely seem happy to be there and seem to love their job. Have I mentioned they are cheap? If you like Pad Thai...GO, GO, GO!

The only reason this does not get 5 stars is because it is simply a tiny, primarily carry out business only with sometimes tricky parking. They make the best pad thai in the city for the money. When I go, I go to satisfy my Pad Thai craving, but anything else I have ever gotten has been wonderful. I have always dreamed she would open a small full service restaurant somewhere. Still dreaming.

Best Thai food in Cincinnati! I have been coming here for years, and I never get tired of it. Everybody raves about the pad thai, and while I agree that it is terrific, I think the pad si-iew is even better! Don't forget to make it spicy, and add some spring rolls and Thai iced tea!

Best pad thai ever!! Massive portions for around $6. I lived 10 blocks away for 2 years and probably ate it once a week. I always wanted to try other things, but couldn't bear to not order the tofu pad thai. It's that good. My boyfriend, who hates ethnic food of all types, really enjoyed their chicken wings which were also very cheap.

The first thai food I ever had and still the best. I usually got with the mango salad or the pad thai when I come back in town to visit.
