If you go for the beer fine but don't go for the service. We waited over 40 minutes for our meals and then received massive attitude when we asked for boxes because we needed to go. When we were told at 30 min wait time that "they were putting finishing touches on" you knew our server knew it was taking too long. We had to go so we asked for boxes and received attitude rather than any apology or acknowledgement of tardiness. Poor poor poor....

Awesome place to watch football on Sundays! There's lots of TVs, great food and beer specials, and occasionally giveaways. I had the $5 nachos, pretzel sticks, and boneless chicken wings and everything was good. I highly recommend coming here to watch your favorite team.

A ton of TV's to watch the big game. I ordered the gyro, but wanted chicken instead of lamb, and they substituted no problem. The rueben is also delish. Great happy hour prices as well.

Tap House is a fun place with very good appetizers and sandwiches. We get a kick out of being able to fill out our sandwich order on paper and hand it to the waiter/waitress. They have a fun selection of beers on tap. Many tv's to watch sports, games to play, like golden tee golf. Just an enjoyable restaurant/bar for couples, families or groups.

Menu clearly stated drinks are included with children's meals. But when the bill came we were charged separately for the kids' soft drinks. When asked about this, the waitress said "Oh, the owner isn't doing that anymore. Guess they're still using the old menus. Sorry, you'll have to pay for them." Burgers (their specialty) were uninspired and both our orders came out with the wrong toppings. On the plus side, the beer selection was good and our waitress was friendly enough. The atmosphere was typical sports bar, nothing special. There are many dining options in the Kenwood area. If you're looking for anything more than a beer, do yourself a favor and try someplace else.

Weird...went for my sons high school radio sports broadcast with a girlfriend. It wasn't crowed at all. After waiting 20 minutes watching staff walk past our table and not being greeted we left. They get a star for supporting local high schools. We left and went to Stonecreek had half priced tinis! Go there instead on a Wednesday evening. You can always stream the radio broadcast!

Great bar food and drinks the beer selection is the best part all your local options on draft.. Great place to watch a game and blows bdubs out of the water if you like traditional bar food. Also the happy hour is something to note. Very good deals. My reason for the 3 stars is the service which has been disappointing, also the last time i went the server told us it was still happy hour so we all ordered with the impression the food was at those prices, but when we got the bill nothing was marked off ! she said she was new and did not realize it was no longer happy hour. Very upsetting since the bill was never adjusted, i have not been back since.

This was the second time I've been to this sports bar. And I must say I was definitely more impressed with my first visit. The food wasn't that great. We ordered the goat cheese spread for an appetizer. You're thinking who could mess that up right. Well the goat cheese was perfectly fine. They did remove all the plastic wrap that I'm sure it came in, thankfully. The garlic toast was just that. Small pieces of garlic toast. I don't know, guess I was expecting more for the $10 that the appetizer cost. I ordered the spicy garlic wings for my main course. We're at a sports bar right. Well this isn't BW3 now is it. Spicy and tasteless they were. Could barely get 4 of them down. And as far as the service. Well it was a Thursday night. And since I'm in a generous mood. I'll give it a 6! By the way, the bottled blue moon was awesome!!

Even better than before, went here with momma and my wife over the weekend; we had a couple burgers (fresh, hand-pressed ground chuck, no frozen), monstrous blue cheese lettuce wedge salad (7 bucks and I made 2 meals out of it). All 3 items, plus our sides below and the burgers' "jardÃn veggies" were perfectly prepared, large, fresh. Taphouse now has sweet potato fries with pumpkin dipping sauce as a side for your burger or whatever sandwich or entree your heart desires. Screw dessert, they ARE dessert. Delicious. Also you can get garlic & parmesan fries, equally decadent but leaning to the savory side. Beer selection just keeps getting better and better here (30 taps approx). Won't bother with too many details on beers but the 3 of us had, respectively: Rheingeist Truth, Old Dominion Oak Barrel stout , and Magic Hat #9. Ya getting the picture here? You can only imagine what the other 25-30 taps might hold in store for your own Yelpin' tastebuds. Creative and well-executed pub grub, far beyond the dreary, drab, and dumbed-down local bar food. Well done, Tap House, well done.

Our first visit to TapHouse was a college game night. We were a group of 25 which could have been not great. But it was great! The place was cozy and clean. Not fancy but it is a sports bar. Wait staff was a charming young woman who was never rattled. She came back frequently to check on us. She had us organized on her check pad so we just gave our name to add drinks to bill. Other support staff delivered drinks, apps, and meals. Menu was varied and it looked like burgers are a specialty. My husband's burger was juicy and tasty. And the best part were crispy sweet potato fries with a pumpkin drizzle. Amazing. Humuus plate was a gluten free option with celery and carrots for dipping. Roasted red peppers were on top and little dollops of pesto added to the delight. We also had a crab and avocado spread with tortilla chips which was also great and gluten free. I believe this is locally owned and whomever designs the food is talented and delivers tasty treats.

Better than average American bar/grill type food. Interesting flavor combinations. More exotic than usual 'grill' food. Good selection of beers on tap obviously. Wait staff was friendly & knowledgeable. Plenty of TVs. Only downfall I noticed is decor is bland and starting to show wear after not being a very old place. But the food more than makes up for that. Get the sweet potato fries with pumpkin sauce!!!!!!!

OMG! So NASTY!! We took some out of town family there who were getting their car serviced at the Mercedes dealer across the street. What a mistake. I don't know what happened to this place because I remember it being a great place to eat. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, not only because its pricey but the food is terrible. I have to admit that I have eaten bar food that was just alright and was satisfied because it was not expensive. Here you get a double edge sword, terrible food that is expensive. I would not recommend this place to anyone even if it was cheap. Its a shame because they have an awesome beer selection, even though its very pricey as well. Sometimes you pay for the atmosphere but in this case you just get people who don't know whats going on. So here is our experience: First I have to say that our server was great. After they sat us, one of the owners made us move because they sat us with five people at a small both. Of course one person had to sit in a chair at the end of the table. The owner came over and even though he was not extremely rude about it he made it sound like it was something that we did wrong. The server said that one of the owners "was pretty cool" and the other was an a jerk. I Didn't put jerk in quotes because what she said was far worse. I'm pretty sure she was embarrassed by the quality of the food. By the way she responded to the problems we had, it seemed like we were not the only ones who had similar experiences. We ordered appetizers which took forever to come out. My app was pretty good - We had the pretzel bread sticks and dip. I don't remember what my cousin and his wife ordered but they did not eat most of it, saying that it was not good. To order a burger you have to fill out a sheet of paper choosing the way you would like it. My only complaint about the server is that she did not review the sheets that we filled out to ensure that we didn't miss anything. You would think though that someone at least from the kitchen would ask if it was something that effected the way your food is cooked. My cousin's wife did not choose the temperature for how she wanted her burger to be cooked and it came out mid-rare. Some people may like this in a burger but most people do not, especially her. She sent it back to have it cooked longer and it didn't even look like they threw it back on the grill. Of course after that she sent it back and did not want anything else. I don't like sending things back anyway because you never know what they will do to your food in the kitchen! Somehow i have a feeling though that it wouldn't matter because my wife and I both ordered Turkey burgers. We both checked well done on the order sheet because with Turkey, it should be cooked all the way through. That was not the case though and ours were also RAW in the middle.. Blahhhh!! We each ate one bite out of them and didn't take another bite. I also ordered mash potatoes as a side. I never received those so i had to ask for them after our food was brought out, along with the condiments that were not with our order that we asked for. I thought I could at least eat this. The mashed potatoes were listed as a garlic mash potatoes.. OMG, i almost thew up when i took a bite. It was more like a gritty drink which had no garlic or potato taste to it whatsoever - I am seriously not exaggerating either! After that I didn't want anything else. I did however ask to get some french fries instead - which I thought would most likely also be disgusting. They did turn out to be the best tasting thing of our whole dinner however. Yes, french fries. The server ended up taking my wife's food off of our bill. Both meals actually should have been taken off but I wasn't trying to get anything for free. I actually ended up tipping her $20 because she was so nice about everything and i felt sorry for her. I don't see myself going back to this place anytime soon.

Great place for a restaurant. Everything I tried to order "we don't actually have that, but we're changing menus soon". Loud typical pub substandard fare. From what I saw that others were having it was a bit pricey for what you get. Good beer selection though.

I went here last night for a fundraiser and the service was great. We had 3 appetizers that were all very good. I ordered the smothered chicken, that was very tasty. Onion rings were great, but the German potatoes were more like seasoned potatoes. I will return to check out their lunch menu some time soon

Good food, good service, competitive pricing, good atmosphere. They even took good care of the kids with their "make your own pizza" offering. I would like to see a massive selection of beer at a "tap house" and their list didn't really cut it. They had all the classics and then some, but I would expect far more. Multiple pages of beer selection is what you will find at similar restaurants in other beer hubs like Boston and Milwaukee. This is a good choice for a family dinner out, or a good place to meet friends without the drive into the city.

Pretzels and beer cheese were very good. Enjoyed the beer, but I am not too picky about beer selection. Did not enjoy the jambalaya pasta and the spinach salad my husband had was not that great. Would go back for drinks and appetizers but not dinner.

Decor is really worn. Servers look rough. Manager has no clue how to run a bar but is friendly enough. Note- keep the greasy cook staff in the kitchen! It gives you the feel of being a second rate establishment. Food is a bit pricey for what you get. Great beer selection but then again, what bar doesn't have a great selection at this stage of the game.

I don't even drink and, yet, this is just the best sports bar in Cincinnati. Mike O'Donnel, the owner, takes a very pencil interest in his restaurant, his customers and his food. THG is where The Texas Exes Cincinnati Chapter watch sports and have fun. The staff always makes us feel at home and going is always predictable-a good experience.

First the good - they have good food and I love how you can create your own burger. I also like their wings, but if you order them "hot," expect mild. They have one of the best beer selections in Cincinnati, with an emphasis on local craft beers. Now the bad. I really think they need to add a bartender during college football Saturdays. I was there today and I was ready to enjoy a few beers and watch both the OSU and the UC games, but instead, I watched my bartender walk past my empty beer glass multiple times. She even stood next to me asking the couple sitting next to me if they wanted anything else while I held my empty beer glass in my hand. After she walked away, I put my empty glass at the front edge of the bar - the international signal for "I'm empty, fill me up!" Eventually, I gave up and waited for her to come back around 15 minutes later so I could get my check. It was obvious she was busy helping the servers fill their drink orders, but I felt invisible. How do you stand next to someone with an empty glass and not ask them if they want another beer. My tab was $14. It could have been $24 if she paid attention. Her tip would have been double what I gave her. I'm a generous tipper if I get decent service. If the service sucks, you tip sucks!

My husband and I love this place. We go there weekly. There is a fantastic beer selection, with always some of the local microbrews on tap, whether its Rivertown, Mt. Carmel, or many of the others. I am typically a miller lite drinker exclusively, but this place has prompted me to expand my horizons a little and try a few new things. The food is delicious as well, and their build your own burger menu is extensive, even having several options for a friend who cannot eat ANY cow products.

The place is new, so they have a lot to iron out. Not that great of a selection of beer for being a "Tap Room" Service was slow and scattered. We all used the "design your own burger" order sheet. Every person's bun was wrong. The wine burgundy sauce had very few mushrooms and left the bottom of my bun soggy. They never asked us how we wanted our burger done. Sweet potato fry sauce was more like caramel not pumpkin sauce.

We love this place! The food and servers are exceptional. The prices, especially the happy hour and nightly specials are very reasonable. We go there at least 3 times a week! They have the best beer selection and burgers in town!!! The bartender made me an awesome birthday drink too!!!

The waitress was so incredibly attentive and friendly. We had never been there and she walked us thru the burger choices. Her recommendations were on the money Don't miss the pretzels. Tuna was seared and perfect. Po Boy and sweet potato fries were awesome. Mac and Cheese not so remarkable. Very family friendly and again the service wonderful. Will visit again.

Our family goes to this place about every other week, their food is very good and much above a normal sports bar. There are a lot of dishes and salads to choose from, and we also like the build your own burger, which is an awesome checklist to put whatever you want on a very good and large burger. Lots of great beers too and a really great deal, pick several beers of the entire list and you get small glasses of them for like 6 bucks. All ya need there. Highly recommend this place for groups or family as well as sports viewing.

Stopped in last Saturday for lunch with two friends on our way to a shopping adventure. The service was fairly quick and they had a few beer options that I like. (I'm picky and only order certain IPAs). Our server was not very friendly, spoke quickly and couldn't be understood at times. The food was probably a couple dollars over-priced for most things. I had a salad with buffalo chicken pieces on it. I believe the salad was around $9, so when the it arrived and was more like the size of a side salad from most places, I was a bit surprised. I also didn't like that it was the cheap bag mix of lettuce and some of the pieces of iceburg were wilted. One friend ordered the burger with a side of mac. The mac was mediocre. Seemed like Stouffers. The other friend ordered the fish sandwich which was good sized. Large enough to take half of it home with leftover fries. The best part was probably the tartar sauce - it was tasty and kind of thick. Meh, indeed about this place! Probably better for drinking and watching sporting events instead of the meal being the main event.

Went here on a groupon to try the place. The waitress was very friendly. Groupon was for an appetizer, two burgers, and a dessert. We asked the waitress if we could choose from any appetizer because they ranged in price from $8 - $12. She said that yes we could. I chose the spicy breaded shrimp listed for $12. I was expecting something like "bang bang shrimp" from bonefish grill the way it was described in the menu. Instead, it was hard and slimy. We ended up taking all the breading off and just ate the shrimp. We laughed with the waitress about how we should have picked the popular pretzels that were listed for only $8. The burgers and dessert were very good. We gave the waitress our groupon and credit card at the end of the meal. The next thing we know, the manager comes to our table and tells us we could not order the shrimp appetizer on the groupon and that it was in the fine print. I told him that I did not read the fine print but instead asked the waitress specifically about this before we ordered. He said that he would have to charge an extra $2. I could not believe this but just told him "fine". When he walked away my husband informed me that he said he would take $2 off the menu price of the shrimp, not charge $2. We waited for the bill to see who was correct. He had charged an extra $8. We called the waitress over to ask her to explain. She said the happy hour price on the shrimp was $10 and he took another $2 off of that. We informed her that first of all, she told us we could choose any appetizer with the groupon, secondly, there was only a $4 difference in list price between any appetizer items, and thirdly, we didn't even like the shrimp and had told her so. She went back to the manager while we waited another 5 minutes and came back with a bill for the $4 difference instead of $8. I would have given this place 3 or 4 stars based on the food itself but what this manager SHOULD have done is just backed up his waitress and informed her of the fine print afterwards. They have lost a couple future customers haggling about this.

Great atmosphere, great place to watch sports w/ the family because of a game area with video games, pop-a-shot, etc. They have a crazy amount of draughts and tasty casual food. We had the wings (crispy, huge and obviously cooked to order which is rare), pretzel sticks with beer cheese, and goat cheese dip. We went the first week and had the same growing pains as the previous reviews but those have been remedied. It will be our new favorite, being able to have dinner and beverages without the kids driving us nuts for 90 mins is priceless. Next time I'll try the build your own burger...

One of the better craft beer selections in town with an emphasis on Cincinnati brewers. Good variety of toppings available for the choose your own burgers and the boneless wings are delicious as is the pretzel appetizer. Overall a really good place for the family or to have a good beer and watch a game.

I work here, and honestly I can say everyone here strives to make the customers experience as best as it can be. The food is wonderful, and we are always willing to 're-make or substitute something else if someone finds it less than desireable. I eat here often, not just because I work here but because the food is delicious. We have a large selection of beer, which is constantly changing and updating. We also have signature cocktails and beer cocktails. I love the atmosphere and now we have both child and adult games!

Great place to watch the game. Food was pretty delicious and staff was very friendly. Good selection of draft beer too (for obvious reasons ;)

I will be going back. Very modern, with great beer selection and prices. Vegetarian and vegan options.

I had a groupon for a build your own burger and it was amazing! Loved the different choices (different buns, beef, turkey, veggie, salmon burger, various toppings and sauces). Will be back!

Listening to great live music and great beer and appetizers! Love coming here!
