My family had a late dinner here on Christmas Eve. The restaurant had started to empty out by the time we got there at eight, so it was quiet and our server was attentive. The decor was...interesting. We're a family of equestrians, so we enjoyed the paintings of horses and trophies, but the racing sulkies hanging from the ceiling and coolers (fleece blankets horses wear after work to keep from chilling, often given as prizes) on the wall above the table just detracted from the lovely building. Our server was a little uncouth and bumbling. For example, in order to set my entree down, he stood directly behind me and reached one arm around each side of me. That was a bit weird, but, at least he didn't burn me with the plate or something. They had a limited Christmas Eve menu so we had all 3 of the apps offered. The scallops were nice, served with a tasty cream sauce. The tomato and shrimp bruschetta was a bit soggy, but the flavor was solid. The crabcakes were great, I loved the roasted corn salsa and remoulade served alongside. Several people got salads- both the caesar and chopped salad were quite good. I ordered the Filet Mignon. It was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and served with delicious potatoes au gratin. I was in heaven. My sister had the crab stuffed shrimp, which were tasty, as was their specialty prime rib ordered by my dad and brother-in-law and the cedar plank salmon my mom and brother chose. Everyone was satisfied. The food was classic, simple, and well executed. They don't try to create innovative flavor combinations, just reliable, tasty food. The dessert offerings were the same way. The brulee cheesecake, bread pudding, and fruit cobbler were all delicious and worth ordering again. Oh, and their wine and beer lists were thorough enough that everyone found something to their taste. They have some great local brews that are worth trying. Overall, it was a lovely holiday meal with the family. Good food, drink and service. Oh, and they had a fire going, which made the main dining room feel super cozy. I would definitely go back anytime.

i went to parker's blue ash grill for an appreciation luncheon for our clients. the lunch menu is pretty slim, but everything on it is delicious. i got the chicken with wild rice soup and a crabcake sandwich with a side of cole slaw. for a non-maryland crabcake, it was delicious. usually restaurants skimp (is that a proper adjective?) out on the crab meat and give you a huge bun....but here, it is the opposite! i had a hard time keeping the crab cake within the invisible boundaries of my bun. atmosphere is lodge-ish. there is a horse theme throughout the restaurant with pictures of horses, stirrups hanging from the wall, and saddles mounted near the entrance. ....and it is reasonably cheap! average of $15 per person

Went on Father's Day and had no trouble getting a table at 7 p.m., if that tells you anything. Although the food was good, the service was very strange. They messed up my order, and the server kept insisting I needed a house salad before my entree salad. The waitress had a very goofy way of dealing with the mess ups, and we heard her apologizing profusely to the booth behind us, so evidently there are quite a few screw ups either with the wait staff or the kitchen. The waitress refilled water glasses and drug the lip of the pitcher into used glasses, so whatever germs we had were transferred to the next poor slobs. Or, the table before us sent us theirs.... My chopped salad with flat iron steak came as a whole steak thrown on top of the chopped salad. Couldn't they have at least sliced it and placed it artfully for $17?? The place is cozy and has a decent atmosphere, but I feel like they aren't long for the world given the service, the various "comps" they had to give to our table and our neighbors, and the very sparse crowd. For the money, try something else.

What happened here?? This used to be one of my favorite establishments. But a recent visit showed a crumbling ambiance, shrinking portions, and a friendly and accommodating yet overextended server. Clearly, the ownership has stopped capital expenditures. The banquettes were sagging and holey, wine glassware has been downgraded beneath that which you would expect from a Wine Spectator-honored list, and the food was unimaginative and overcooked. We hear changes are coming in both decor and menu. Upgrades to the decor would be welcome if not for the rumor that the food will be downgraded. Window dressing is not the answer for for this longtime dependable restaurant. A major change in the cuisine would be a mistake.

Food was decent and the Salmon was well prepared. I don't know what's up with Indians in Italian restaurant. Service was not that great. Have to ask for bread, Desert and extra drink. No greeting. $50 dinner again! May be not.

Disappointing all around. My husband and I had lunch at Parker's recently and did not have a good experience. Our server was not enjoying her job that day, and it came across loud and clear. We were uncomfortable with the way she treated us like we were a bother to her. Anyway, on to lunch... We started with a french onion soup and the chop salad. The salad was fine, but the french onion soup was probably the best thing we ordered. It was a really good version of french onion, lots of cheese and soft onions. My husband ordered the french dip and I got the crab cake sandwich, based on our servers suggestion. Bad idea. I will now refer to it as the breadcrumb mushcake. (It's an insult to crab cakes everywhere to call this a crab cake). After 2 bites of greasy mush, I took my sandwich apart and dissected the "cake", and I could find not ONE SOLITARY TINY BIT of crab. Not one. I am not exaggerating. It was filler, filler, filler, onion, filler, filler, and all of it was so greasy. It was BAD. My husband's french dip was fine, but he said overall it was pretty flavorless. I will say that the bun the crab cake sandwich was served on was really good, soft and buttery, I just wish the sandwich itself had been worth eating. The highlight of the meal were the french fries served with our two sandwiches. They were HOT HOT HOT, salty, flavorful. To be honest, we were wanting to try their brunch sometime, so we might give them another shot, but I would recommend never ordering the breadcrumb mushcake. Yuck.

We visited Parker's Blue Ash Grill for a recent birthday celebration. We were able to secure a private room in the front of the restaurant and were incredibly pleased with our "private dining" experience. One very capable server was assigned to us and she was able to translate all twenty, specialized orders to the kitchen. We ordered a few bottles of Champagne (Moet, as it was a special occasion) and enjoyed the bubbles while checking out the extensive menu. I selected the Chilean Sea Bass and was pleased with the light topping that came on the fish; sea bass doesn't need much to shine on my palate. A number of my dining companions tried Parker's claim to fame, their Prime Rib. They raved about the tenderness of the steak; I could see they weren't exaggerating as they were using the sides of their fork to slice through it. Dessert was superb; I tried a bite each of the Brulee Cheesecake, Bread Pudding, and Pecan Brownie. I'm not normally a bread pudding fan, but Parker's version left me wanting more.

We came out for a nice Father's Day dinner to Parkers, looking for a good steak. The food was very good, everyone enjoyed their various dishes, which all included beef of some sort. The chopped salad was great, and it sounded like my family enjoyed the French onion soup. However, the service was substandard. Before taking our orders, the waitress put a few beers on top of the booth above my head and spilled one across the table, nearly missing the back of my head. When salads came, the waitress' assistant rudely argued with a member of our party over what she ordered, snapping a couple times. Later, after it was resolved, he walked by and shot an obnoxious glance at us. They made several other mistakes, such as forgetting to return a dish after it was sent back because it was wrong. In the end, we were overcharged for the salad mistake. Someone had to track down the waitress to address the problem, who was sitting in the corner texting in the next room. She ended up comping the dish, which was a nice gesture, but we heard her do the same for several other tables. I doubt the restaurant likes giving away several steaks every night, but I suppose it's in the name of good service. This might not be representative of service overall here, but I probably won't be back.

When I get into Cincinnati and I want a go to spot, Parkers is where I am going. I read some of the other reviews and I agree in the bar can be a little hectic if they do not have enough staff. However, the bar is that best place to sit in the entire restaurant. It is rustic, cabin like with horse racing mementos around the room. It is large and the fireplace beckons you to stand near to warm up in the winter. The bartenders do have dual rolls and yes, that can be troubling at times but they are good and most have been there for awhile. They are friendly, knowledgeable and the service is a management issue. I will lay blame where it needs to be laid. The food is fresh and an updated menu is now available. I would suggest the Parkers Dynamite Sticks ($10) for an appetizer. Crisp Flatbread stuffed with seared shrimp, applewood bacon, andouille, red peppers and four cheese. On the side a spicy tomato cheesy dip. Ask for extra! There are so many great appys that it would be hard to go wrong with any of the offerings. For dinner entrees, you will also be confused on what to order as the offerings are interesting and sound and are grand! From vegetarian fare to their elegant signature Prime Rib Steak ($28 for a lb and $23 for 12oz). Impeccably cooked to melt in your mouth. Next time that I return I am going for the Niman Ranch Pork Chop ($26) Charcoal grilled roasted poblano peppers, creamed corn, caramelized onions, guajillo chili pepper sauce and mashed potatoes. The thought of the guajillo mixed in with the potatoes sounds so amazing! I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp ($24), while I thoroughly enjoyed the entree, I would have preferred larger shrimp. Although, I was unable to finish my meal, presentation wise it would make a difference and some folks may not think it is enough. The mashed potatoes were awesome with the lobster butter sauce. As you can see, generally, a side is offered with your entree. Soups and salads are an additional cost but worth investigating. The food is consistent here and worth visiting to embrace the warmth and cozy feeling inside the tavern (bar) area. Especially, in the winter.

After reading several recent reviews that were less than complimentary, I was tempted to drive right past the restaurant but at the last minute I made a U-turn and pulled into the parking lot and I'm actually glad that I did. While the service was far from perfect, they were very pleasant and even gave me a taste of a new bourbon that I asked for (Maker's Mark 46...YUM!) I asked the waiter what he recommended and he suggested the prime rib or the hangar steak. I asked about the lamb flatbread and he said it was very good. I ordered it and was very pleased. The flatbread was crisp and the lamb flavorful. The combination of the ground lamb, goat cheese, caramelized onions and roasted red peppers was quite good. I also ordered the chopped salad with hangar steak and it was done exactly the way I ordered it (medium-rare) and the salad was delicious. I would say that the price is bit high ($10 for the flatbread and $16 for the steak salad) but I would definitely dine there again.

Parker's Blue Ash Grill always seems to get these rave reviews and is often treated like a 5-star restaurant (a real 5-star rating, not like a Yelp 5-star often based off of one person's preference), but I've never seen it quite like that. I've always seen it is a very good restaurant with a great atmosphere, friendly employees, and good food, but it's nothing to write home about. Parker's has a horse/Kentucky Derby theme with all kinds of horse/derby paintings and mounted saddles near the hostess stand, as well as some themed menu categories such as "Out of the Gate" (appetizers). The theme is great and a bit unique to this side of the Ohio River, plus the dimmed lights and overall ambience at dinner make it a nice place. Their dinner entrees include prime rib, "Steaks and Chops," a handful of seafood and pasta dishes, a couple burgers and a couple of sandwiches, and salads. They do have a different and more fun lunch menu, but I recommend the restaurant for dinner or its extensive and delicious Sunday brunch. Parker's does have some great desserts on the menu too, while they also have a more laid back atmosphere on the left side of the restaurant in the bar. It's somewhat pricey, but it is high-quality food, and if you stay away from the wines you shouldn't leave from a dinner for two with much more than a $55 or $60 bill (although $25-$40 is very possible if you don't order the expensive prime rib or steaks). I do think Parker's is a very good restaurant and it has a nice location back in Blue Ash, but I do not think it's quite as good as it is cracked up to be. It's definitely a great restaurant, but if it's a special occasion I do think that there are better places in Cincinnati at which to dine.

First of all, I have to admit that I may in bias in my review for Parkers. I'm a Kentucky girl. Born and raised. So, the 20 something horse pictures that hang aroung the restaurant, the 8 or so saddles that welcome you as you enter through the front door and the Derby winner jersey's framed by the hostess stand appeal to me on every level. Before I've even taken a bite, I'm SOLD! My VP at work set up a meeting for me with a great prospect and suggested Parkers as the lunch location. Now, I've never heard of Parkers, but when your VP says go, you can't say no. And, he didn't let me down. I've already detailed my affection for the atmosphere, thank you Mr. VP, so now what to order? This was a business meeting. Me at a table with 3 grown men. I thought for sure each of them would order a steak or at least a sandwich. No yelpers, they didn't. The attendees of this lunch meeting are apparently paying attention to their dollars going toward socialized healthcare and everyone ordered a salad. And, not one of us little rabbits was disappointed. Not at all. Just like the menu, we had variety. The cobb salad looked unbelievable! There was no skimping on the toppings; Bacon, corn, cheese, beans and a great portion too! My other favorite salad at the table to envy was the Alsatian Chicken Salad. Considering that business was being discussed, I tried so hard not to drool over this one. Blue Cheese, candied walnuts, sauteed apples.... (oh, sorry, please excuse my spittle, I'm drooling as I write this). We'll take a break from the salads.... The rest of the menu is also worth mentioning! If you're not a salad snob, like my table, Parkers still has a lot to choose from. I noticed a crab cake sandwich- yes please?! A Bison Burger- watching my waistine but yum! Finally, because I'm getting hungry reviewing this, for those who like a little variety on their plate, they have a Pick Three! That's right. A Pick Three. Not two-THREE! Soup, sandwich and a side. Since I am one that like to try everything and has difficulty making up my mind, this option is perfect for me and maybe you too. This is just their lunch menu! Oh, and the service, sorry the menu distracted me, is GREAT! I will definitely be back to dine at Parkers! Well, I say that...Cough Cough. It's a perfect date place. COUGH COUGH. Sorry, I have a tickle in my throat. It's the darndest thing. :)

Went here for a lunch meeting, the food was just ok and the service left something to be desired. The atmosphere was pretty cool, I liked the horse racing theme. The bar area looked cool, I think I may try to stip by for HH sometime and check out the app selection and beer list.

This was an overall, peculiar dining experience. From the outside, the restaurant did not seem busy and looked quite classy and hip. As we walked in, I noticed that indeed, it truly was not busy given the immense amount of empty tables. Surprisingly, they said it would be several minutes to be seated for dinner. I asked if we could be seated in the bar instead and the hostess seemed confused or flustered by this request. She agreed and went to find us a table. In the interim of her cleaning a table, we continued to wait almost 10 minutes despite there being several other tables with seating for 5 and booths along the window which were already clean. As we stood there waiting to finally be seated, SEVERAL staff of various positions congregated near the hostess station talking and chatting- none of them working for some reason. I surmised that our lack of being seated was not due to a staffing issue. There clearly seemed to be plenty of servers in a fairly empty restaurant. Eventually, we were finally seated. The place began to fill up and get busier as it became closer to 6pm and the dinner crowd rolled in. The thing that surprised me, however, is that in this fairly hip bar, our group of 30 somethings were easily the youngest group in the bar- by probably 3 or more decades! Mind you, this was all on a Saturday night. None of this was a problem. I was simply surprised by the crowd in a bar on a Saturday night with an average age of 65-70. We were served by what seemed to be a tag team of wait staff all of which did a good job and were quite efficient but made it slightly confusing as to who we were supposed to order from. The food was delicious! We had the dynamite sticks and Kobe burger, both of which we fabulous! A scoop of delicious vanilla ice cream rounded things off nicely. We were lucky enough to come during happy hour and much of the bar menu was half off which was a total bonus also.

The food and service are not the best. The fried zucchini had zero taste, and the tomato sauce it came with was just as bad. The quesadilla app was pretty bad too - and nobody even bothered to ask how our food was. The wine is very good, although the pouring amount differed between bartenders. One woman bartender poured just a tiny bit which looked pathetic in their huge wine glasses, while the male bartender poured a normal amount.

Visiting Cincy on business, I drove by Parker's and was impressed by the looks on the outside. I reviewed what Yelpers had to say and decided to give it a try. I arrived around 7pm on a Wed. night, I had to wait about 10 minutes to get a seat at the bar. Upon sitting down, I quickly realized that the bartender was deep in the weeds. He was the only person behind the packed bar and was also responsible for taking care of the wait staff's drink orders. Ultimately, the service was the primary thing that held me back from a better rating. The bartender did his best but the dirty napkin that was next to my seat when I sat down was still there when I left. He was friendly and did his best, but geez, get the guys some help! So on to more important things - the food. I ordered a glass of $8.50 wine - reasonable price for a reasonable pour. I had a chopped salad which was fine, but not great. The lettuce was a bit less than crisp. For dinner I ordered a "small" prime rib and baked potato and wow was it good. The generous cut of prime rib was cooked perfectly, well marbled, and had a wonderfully seasoned crust. The baked potato was large and baked with kosher salt on the skin, which I love. I was cautious in my use of the horseradish after reading some reviews. However, I thought it was a fairly standard "prepared horseradish" like you'd buy in the store. It was a delicious addition to the steak. To summarize: the entree was 5 stars, the salad 3 stars and the service was 3 stars at best. However, I'm willing to cut some slack to a bartender who's working hard but is set up to fail because he doesn't have help. I'll go back next time I'm in town.

I attended a group meeting at Parker's last night and the service was extremely slow and uninterested in bringing us food and beverages. We even had to beg for simple coffee refills. On the upside the fireplace is really nice.

BEST BRUNCH FOR OUR SUNDAY PLANS Parkers is a favorite of our whole family - young and old alike. It's become the brunch choice for any holiday (when they're not already sold out!) or whenever a friend or family member is in from out of town for the weekend. For about $25 per person we can enjoy a Champagne Brunch in a beautiful atmosphere, really enjoying an unhurried meal. As with any great brunch, theirs includes a tremendous variety of fresh, delicious food, from cheese, veggie, fruit and seafood starter items to fresh cooked omelets, and an array of brunch items: eggs, meats, breads, waffles, soups, chicken, pasta, casseroles and many, many desserts. We go there for lunch and dinner at times, as well. It's close to our home and office, but Brunch is the favorite. My wife and I have gone there for the brunch by ourselves a couple times as a business working lunch, taking our project files along on a Sunday afternoon instead of meeting at the office. It's a lovely, quiet, leisurely experience unlike other busier, crowded brunches we've known. We've also enjoyed the brunch as an outside dining experience on their patio in beautiful weather. Parker's is a reasonably priced, high class experience. I highly recommend it.

Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Had a reservation but arrived early and was seated immediately. There were a fair amount of people, but it wasn't packed by any means. The musicians in the bar area sounded great, but we ate in the main dinning room with the fireplace. Service started a bit slow. Our waitress took a little longer than expected to take and deliver our drink orders. Other than that, everything was fantastic. I had a moscow mule (not the best I've ever had, but good) and later, a glass of their Mercer Cabernet (highly recommend). We started with the friend zucchini, it was delicious and was a sizable portion. My mother had the fish and chips and said they were fantastic. She said the fish melted in her mouth and the seasoning on the fries was the best she's ever had. I had the prime rib with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were a little under-seasoned for my taste, so I added plenty of salt and pepper and even some of the horseradish sauce (which was fantastic). The prime rib was out of this world delicious. So tender and flavorful, will definitely order again if we are ever in the area.

I may not have read thoroughly enough to realize that the Sunday "champagne brunch" was a buffet. That being said, the food was okay for not being made to order, but I felt like I was in a hotel. The omelets were very good and fresh. But, with all of the choices in the city, I don't think we'll go back.

My wife, daughter and I met some friends at Parker's. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great (log cabin-like) and the service and food was top notch They even brought us a wet cloth napkin for my messy 3-year old, without having to ask. The brunch buffet was quite good and there was a lot of variety. Regarding dress, there were people in shorts and suits. I would opt for a happy medium.

I've been here for lunch a few times and I have to say that the menu is very diverse and not overpriced and all the food has a really good taste to it! My favorite is probably the club sandwich with your choice of fries or homemade chips and coleslaw another favorite is the pulled pork sandwich. I know a few people that have had the fish and chips and it actually looks amazing and this is coming from someone who really doesn't like fish all that much. I've also heard that their brunch on Sundays is really really good. I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet but it's definitely on my list of things to do.

I ate dinner here as part of a group with only a few choices offered to us, on a Tuesday evening. My house salad was a disappointment - all iceberg with a few bits of color & dressing. My entree of Tilapia with fresh vegetables & mashed potatoes was very good! The dessert of cheesecake with creme brulee was good, not great. I was expecting more from the food considering the atmosphere & location.

We have been to Parker's many times in the past for lunch, dinner, and brunch, but it has been years since our last visit. Our boys love doing Sunday brunch, so we decided to give Parker's a try. There is a carving station, an omelette station, a salad area, then several lunch and breakfast hot items. There is also a bread and dessert table. Adult brunches include one mimosa, screwdriver, or glass of champagne. They also bring beignets to the table, which were good, but more of a donut/hush puppy taste than beignet. The food we had was good, but we have been spoiled by Orchids, which is just a little more expensive and a much higher caliber of food.

Went to Parkers for happy hour and I agree with the other comments regarding drink prices. They only give half price on THREE drafts. I had a Sculpin IPA served in a flower vase that was probably just over half a pint for $6. The regular price is $7.50. That's far more than you'd pay in a downtown bar. For a suburban bar, that's ridiculous. Other bars serve craft and micro brews far less. Parkers are ripping off their customers.

My husband, daughter & I just came back from burch at Parker's. It was exceptional. Great service, warm atmosphere & the food was phenomenal. I absolutely loved the artichoke chicken, everything we had was wonderful. We're thinking about making Parker's brunch our Sunday thing to do!! Excited to check out the long happy hour during the week!

My brother and I checked this place out for the Yelp! Drinks event last month. It was good. They have some very tasty beers on draft, including a bourbon barrel ale (or something like that) which is kind of sweet but not so much that you couldn't sit and drink several of them in a row.... so I hear. I need to get back to this place because they have an impressive selection of bourbons behind the bar and I am a big big fan of bourbon. We drank beer exclusively when we were there - it was like 3:30 in the afternoon on a Monday, after all - so I can't speak to specifics. However, I know enough to know that they have good stuff - Woodford Reserve, Pappy Van Winkle, Bookers, etc. Our bartender seemed somewhat disinterested in work but hey, that's not uncommon, right? Especially at that hour - she probably just got up! HA!

My office is close, and Parkers is decent for work lunches... other than that average at best. We went this past Tuesday evening with about 15 people for drinks outside. The service was downright AWFUL. The worst part was their sense of urgency. It wasn't even crowded, and we were waiting 15-20 minutes for drinks. The bartender, Mike, was very bad. He would just ignore you, and continue side his conversations with regulars.

We stopped for dinner one night. Both had burgers, they were fairly conventional, a little on the dry side for medium. Service was friendly and the physical space was very nice. Lots of horse racing paraphernalia on the walls.

We stopped in on a Thursday night and sat in the Tap room (bar area). Nice live music. Beef quesadilla was good but a little too greasy. Chopped salad was very good. New dish with pasta, Broccolini and spicy sausage was very good. Speciality blood margaritas were also very good. Service was good. Why the three star? When our check was presented it was ~$60 --when our credit card bill was presented it was ~$112. It was corrected but the way it was handled made us feel like it was no big deal to them that a charge from another table got added to our credit card bill. Would have reservations about going back.

My husband and I were in Cincinnati on business and found this little spot online. It has a rustic atmosphere, which we enjoyed along with the horse racing memorabilia. My husband had the pork chop and I the half chicken. I would rate it a 3.5 while my husband would give it a 4. Our entrees were very good and above average but could use a little refining. My chicken was a little overdone in a few spots and the risotto, while very tasty was not the correct texture. My husband wished his pork chop had a little more seasoning and more grits to compliment. The house dressing on my salad was great and the apple and cherry bread pudding was fantastic. The service was good. We dined on a Thursday evening, did not have reservations and did not need them. My only remaining comment would be that it is perhaps a bit overpriced for what you get. While we did not have a steak, it seemed a bit too pricey as were our entrees. That said, when and if we are back in town we would probably return again.

I went for a big group celebration. We had our own room and the service was really nice. All the waitresses were helpful and attentive. The food was good though it was just minor appetizers. Their creamy cucumber sandwiches were pretty tasty. It was very nice from the inside minus all the horse decor. It was very homely and comforting. I really like the fireplace and the environment.

This review is for their happy hour which is everyday from 5-7. Around this area, I'd say this is one of the best happy hours. Everything on draft is half off and all the bar food is half off, too. That means you can get a Kentucky Bourbon Ale for 3.25 a glass. Other than my love for cheap Kentucky Bourbon Ale, they have about 5 or 6 other beers on tap and a decent selection of bottled beers. The happy hour food is also great. They range cheesy bread to pizzas to calamari to a BBQ sandwich. That's right, you can get a BBQ sandwich with sweet potato fries for $5. Add two beers and you've had a good meal and two beers all under $12. You can't beat these specials. From what I can tell, they don't do pitchers. Parkers tries for a more classier feel, but good happy hour prices. Parker's also has live music on on Fridays and some Thursdays. The music isn't so loud to where you have to yell at each other to talk, which is good. If you're looking for a good happy hour spot, come by Parkers for great specials and good food.

We went during happy hour the other night and ordered all the food 1/2 price. It made the prices much easier to handle. And we got to try more things. We thought everything tasted great. Look forward to going back sometime, maybe for the sunday brunch. I highly recommend trying their happy hour- the atmosphere and wait staff were also very enjoyable.

I've been to dinner at Parkers quite a few times, and I've always enjoyed it, but I went to brunch for the first time on Sunday. I was surprised to see that it wasn't very crowded (it may have been our timing), and we were seated right away. The staff was very friendly, and the selection of food was great. There's standard breakfast fare, like eggs, bacon and waffles, and also a made-to-order omelet station and a salad bar. Everything we tried was fantastic. I think the best part is you get a complementary bloody mary, screwdriver or mimosa with the cost of your meal. I have never been anywhere that offered that, so it was a great touch! You get a high quality experience for about $20, which is definitely impressive. We will absolutely be back.

Another Holiday family gathering 11 of us for Sunday brunch. I had been here a few weeks a go to pick someone up and saw some great looking prime rib unfortunately before 2 on Sundays there is no menu service only the buffet brunch. Luckily the buffet selection was excellent mixture of Breakfast and lunch. Eggs, Omelets, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, waffles etc. Prime Rib, loaded mashed potatoes, green salad, fresh fruit. Lots more too. If you like quality buffet and great service Parkers is for you. We will return when I am VERY hungry.

My experience with Blue ash Tavern is the great food they serve. I go there at least once a month, and I didn't think I'll go there that often, but I just love the place and its a good family time to hang out.

I love the horse-themed decor of this place and the interior feels both comfortable and upscale at the same time. I've been here multiple times, for dinner, brunch, and most recently--weekday lunch and have had 3-4 star experiences each time. I'm going with 4 stars overall because my latest experience was pretty strong. The menu definitely looked different--more updated--than on previous visits and there were many items that looked good for lunch. I went with the Alsatian Chicken Salad which had a grilled chicken breast, apple slivers, candied walnuts, blue cheese, etc. All of the components worked well together, including the apple cider vinaigrette, and seemed fresh & high quality. It was a large size and quite filling for a lunch salad ($13) and I liked the wooden bowl it came in. Our server was attentive, slightly awkward but nice. There was a momentary mix up when the food was brought out, but relatively quickly straightened out. Really the only thing that I would have changed would be to turn down the blaring pop music, which seemed out of place and was too loud for conversation.

Came to Parkers for a meeting. The wine and beer selection is good, which is important to me so good on 'em! We stuck with bar food - calamari, dynamite sticks and buffalo shrimp flatbread, all of which were top notch! I didn't really have high hopes, but I was pleasantly surprised. the dynamite stick were dynamite! The calamari was good. The buffalo shrimp flatbread was quite tasty! Half price happy hour appetizers 3:30 - 7:00 was a nice addition. The atmosphere is nice. The service was very attentive. For drinks and appetizers, Parkers is great! We'll have to try dinner here sometime and see just how good they really are. All in all... a very pleasant experience. We'll be back.

A couple of years ago I would've given Parker's 2 stars. A couple of months ago I wouldn't have even gone here to write a review. But I was intrigued when Mark Bodenstein (formerly of NuVo and Chalk) accepted the role of Executive Chef. I really like what he's done with the menu. It's not very contemporary but it's not too mundane, either. It's just a nice, cozy fit. There is an emphasis on local and artisan vendors and sustainable ingredients (although I could do without the self-described "amazing american fare" term). The prices don't seem as ridiculous as they used to be. There are a couple of mains that fall above the $30 mark, but most are within the $15-$25 range. Additionally, there's a half-price food happy hour 7 days a week. I see myself coming back to the Tap Room, which is unbelievably cozy, to do a little more navigating of the craft beer menu or perhaps the extensive wines by the glass list.

We had dinner here in a large group of about 30 people in private room. The room was nice and included 2 hot appetizers served buffer style. The food was pretty good as well - filet, potatoes, vegiees - a decent meal. My main complain with the restaurant was the service. Very difficult to get a drink when we arrived and even througout the meal. Even wine bottle at "pour your own" station was empty. Took 10 min to get a beer. Needed an extra waitress...

I have to ask, what about Parker's Blue Ash Grill screams out, "HORSES!" Now, don't get me wrong, this place is a high-class dining experience. The servers are professional, the atmosphere is clean and the food? Oh my, the food. I had the roaster prime rib of beef that was so flavorful, so tender, so perfectly cooked that every bite was fantastic and better than the last. However, this previously mentioned high-class dining experience was accented with horses. Horses everywhere. Paintings of horses hung up around the room. Saddles attached to the walls. Horses. Horses. Horses. I like horses as much as the next guy, but it was just a little weird. Didn't take away from the food, mind you, but surprising none the less. The one other thing I must mention, nay, warn you of, is the horseradish. A tiny dish came with my meal, and I was excited. I love spice, I love heat - bring it on. I took a bit, no bigger than a dime, spread it onto my prime rib and took a bite. An intense flash of sizzling, burning, rush of flavor and pain made me choke, grip the table and tear up. Think of the worst ice cream head ache you've ever had. Now, replace that instantaneous wave of cold with a rush of intense heat throughout your body. I couldn't breathe, I couldn't talk. I just had to sit there and get through it. It was amazing. Highly recommended!

Derby prices - buff burger $17. C'mon, their 7.99 at Teds in down town Columbus and I bet they would come out well ahead in a race. Carrot and ginger soup was very good Service was top notch, attentive and friendly.

The prime rib here is delicious. Good atmosphere too, our service wasn't that bad although some folks on here howl about it. The dynamite bangers are popular here, we tried them but...meh. Tasted like a tacquito. My wife loved the mashed potatoes, and she is a mashed potato loving gal.

I went here with my now finance last winter for dinner and had a good meal. The food was very good and the atmosphere is fancy. There are some interesting horse racing saddles and pictures and a huge fireplace. The service was good but could have had a friendlier waiter.

I blame owners/management for my bad experience. Understaffed bar caused sub-par service. check out the picture of the Guinness I was served. I believe the bartender knows how to serve a Guinness properly but was so under staffed that he did not have time to do it properly. Come on guys, you have a nice place, don't skimp on service.

Being the classy woman that I am, I am quite partial to buffets of all sorts. And personally, I lllllloved this Sunday brunch buffet. To me, the mark of a great one is the availability of juicy prime rib, and Parker's definitely has that. It was on the rare side though, so be aware. Another mark is a free alcoholic drink offering (ok so it's not free, but it's included). Here, they had a choice of a mimosa, bloody mary, martini, and I think one other. I went for the mimosa. They also had pasta and potato salads, a cheese plate that I couldn't stop coming back to, all the usual breakfast buffet items (potatoes, bacon, sausage, etc.), and a delicious bread pudding. My favorite thing of all was the diabetes-inducing dessert table. OMG. Although I was so stuffed that I should have just surrendered and walked out the door with a mint in my mouth, I silenced my weak thoughts and relentlessly patronized the dessert spread. I had I don't know how many petit fours, which are little cakes coated with a candy/frosting - wow they were good. And where do you even get those anywhere else?? Other desserts were black forest cake, apple pie, cookies...I don't remember the rest. My taste buds were getting delirious, I'm sure. Obviously, I'd highly recommend this place if you like brunch and you like buffets. Make sure you aren't broke though, because these places are a little pricey ($25 last time I checked). But as long as your stomach is fairly elastic with the ability to make itself momentarily large, you'll get what you pay for!!!

Lunch service on Tues Nov 29. Let me start by saying that I am a big fan of Parker's for lunch and dinner. You can always count on fresh, quality food in a warm and rustic environment. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and instead of fries or anything, I asked for a side salad. The waitress said they had the Parkers Chopped Salad. I asked what came on salad and was told. I asked for No onions. Salad came with no onions, but it had blue cheese crumbles in it. Looking back, I realize now that the menu description does include blue cheese in the salad, even though the waitress didn't mention it. By the way, not a big fan of blue cheese. Even though I hated blue cheese in it, I still ate some of the salad. The blue cheese really overpowered the wonderful house dressing. The lettuce was very crisp and fresh and I really liked the wooden bowl it was served in. It would have been great if not for the blue cheese. The Grilled Chicken sandwich was very tasty. It was served on a flavorful and unique stirati roll. The bacon was thick and cooked just right (not chewy & not too crispy). The cheese was thick and melted just right. The biggest problem with the sandwich was the size of the actual chicken breast itself. It was not big enough for the roll it was on. Overall the sandwich was delicious, just way undersized. Price wise, Parkers is a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of food warrants the high price. Good place for a business lunch, date or special occasion.

Food was really good. Service could have been better. I had the Prime Rib which was tender and perfectly cooked (Med Rare) and had the bread pudding for dessert. I sat at the bar which I'm sure attributed to the so-so service, but they should still take care of you better than that. Slow and inatentive service. The horse race theme is nice and its very warm and welcoming. I'd love to try the brunch sometime.

We drove up to the restaurant and we were pleased right away just by the exterior of the building. It was happy hour on a Monday with some pretty good specials including half off draft beer. I got "bourbon" ale served in a little glass which usually means its loaded with abv...and after three I can confirm that. As for the apps, we got a few orders of dynamite sticks (very tasty shrimp and maybe beef stuffed tortillas that were rolled into large taquitos and deep fried). We also ordered the calamari (average) and the BBQ chips. The apps were a very nice start. For our meal, 4 out of 6 ordered the Kobe style beef burger and everyone ate everything on their plate so I'm assuming that was a good choice. As for me, I ordered the one pound serving of prime rib, obviously. It came out a perfect medium rare and was very tender, moist, and juicy. Not the best prime rib I've ever had but it was up there. The fries were also delicious and crispy. Saw something about them being fried in duck fat, but we weren't sure if they were the duck fat fries or the regular ones. Pretty good dining experience for my first time in Cincy.

Parker's is a nice horse racing themed restaurant. As you walk in, the first thing you see is a case of Kentucky Bourbon (clearly someone's collection) and racing saddles hanging on the wall. As you turn to the right, they have a beautiful collection of photographs of past race winners, including each of the Triple Crown winners. We had no complaint about the food. I ordered a burger, and my other guests ordered a variety of items off of the menu. Everything was well-prepared and tasted wonderful. We also ordered a couple of desserts to share, and they were quite evil. Our service was good, but not great. I am not a regular at this restaurant, but our server seemed assigned to just our table, and alternated between hovering and disappearing. Once we paid our bill, she disappeared completely, and we had to flag down another server to place a take-home order. It wasn't anything big, and I'm sure it's not this way with all the wait staff, but it was a bit disappointing when we were sitting there enjoying ourselves to go without drink refills for extended periods with no one giving us attention. I would definitely go back sometime, but I also felt the prices were a little high for the quality of the food and the service. Steaks were rather high, and while the quality was good, I've had better for less. I think they are trying to play in an upper-scale restaurant tier than what they are.

After passing this place by, and reading the Yelp reviews, we decided to stop by for Sunday Brunch. You can use Open Table to make a reservation, which is a plus. The building is very classy, and the horse race motif is interesting. One adult beverage is included in the price of brunch. The selection is good. You can create your own omelet. There is a carving station that features ham and the house specialty prime rib. I enjoyed the omelet, with all of its fresh ingredients. I am not a prime rib fan, but those in my group who are liked it. There are also hot breakfast and lunch entrees and sides. I absolutely enjoyed the pork loin. The crab cakes were fresh and loaded with crab. Vegetables were good. The usual bacon, eggs, and potatoes were present and good. There is an excellent selection of salads and fixings. There is smoked salmon and peeled shrimp. Also, leave room for dessert. The only knock I have is the less than attentive service. Yes, they clear your plates. No, they don't ask you for additional drinks, and you need to ask for more water. Overall, worth it for the $21.95 you pay.

The staff was beyond friendly, and when my son's calamari came out drowned in some sauce, the waitress brought out another one without our even asking. She knew what was gluten free and what could be altered. I found my salad to be overdressed, which seems to be the trend in the Midwest, but i t was otherwise simple and good. For the type of place it is, the food met expectations. Not a low calorie kind of place (but what is in Ohio?), but they care about what they are doing.

I had a client lunch planned up in Blue Ash and they chose to meet at Parker's Blue Ash Tavern. The room had an old school feel to it, kind of like dining in the grill room of your grandparent's country club. Ranch-style leather chairs on a tartan plaid carpet and a dimly-lit atmosphere. A floor to ceiling cobblestone fireplace in the center of the dining room and a vaulted ceiling with dangling harness wheels brought me back to my childhood. The food was pretty good. I ordered the club sandwich with cole slaw. Served on toasted white bread, the sandwich had crisp lettuce, fresh smoked turkey, juicy tomato slices and delicious bacon. My client had the chicken pot pie. He clearly liked the dish as there was nothing left when the waitress returned. My only complaint, the carbonation unit in the soda fountain was probably not working correctly because my Diet Coke was a bit flat. In all, Parker's is a delightful place to grab a quick bite of the classics!

Just came back from this establishment. The service was really slow and overall bad. Additionally, they can't give the appropriate change and the chubby male server argued about it. I'm not coming here again and would not suggest supporting this establishment.

Dinner at Parker's Blue Ash was at turns, nice, and then unexpectedly it was physically painful. First, I was singed on my bare shoulder by a hot dinner plate fresh from under the heat lamps as my waitress leaned over me. Then, there was the horseradish incident. The restaurant definitely wasn't crowded, but I still waited at least twenty minutes for my first drink to arrive. It was a vodka cranberry. The food was just good. My rack of lamb was fine. All of the accompanying vegetables were kind of sad looking. Others at our table ordered steaks, and they were very happy with their entrees. The creme brulee cheesecake was very tasty. And then my boyfriend tried the horseradish. I thought I was going to have to perform the Heimlich when he started shaking and coughing. Then, being a man, my dad couldn't resist trying it. Same effect. Both of them are pretty hardcore horseradish aficionados, and they couldn't handle the stuff. I checked my shoulder this afternoon and sure enough, there's a little pink mark where my dinner plate burned me. My server's reaction when I yelped and jumped in my seat? "You were probably just startled." Save yourself. Don't eat at Parker's.

Rustic feel in the bar, lots of wood, a large fireplace, 3-4 smaller hdtvs, about 10 bar stools on a bar that is on the north wall. Just south of the bar are a couple large, communal high tables surrounded by lower eating tables, than 4-5 booths on the walls opposite the bar. Room is broken up by the ceiling joists/supports. Kind of "older" decor, but fitting. Haven't been in the dining areas, but there is a great outdoor patio. Great wooden bar with a wooden rail around it and a brass footrest. Stools are leather, but lack backrests. Tons (40-50) fancy beers and strong cocktails. Menu and food are very good, though I would actually avoid their specialty, the prime rib and go with something more familiar. Though dressed in tee and jeans, I was never uncomfortable, but most everyone else was dressed nicer.

Dropped into Parkers after hearing about it from the front desk girl at my nearby hotel. Big rustic kinda place with a large dining room, a large patio and big woody bar inside. I sat at the bar. Matt the bartender was a very friendly guy that spent a lot of time in Scottsdale years past. Great wine list. I inquired about a cotes du rhone 2005 bottle on the short bar list, Matt came back with an '07 which just happens to be one of the best vintages, and only $32 it's a steal! At that point, the soux chef arrived at the bar and explained to me the best cuts and seafood on hand that day. I ordered the crab-stuffed shrimp and NY steak which they kindly brought out one at a time as I had all night to kill. Crab stuffed shrimp were excellent, garic, butter, yumm... Steak was cooked perfectly, also delicious. BOTTOM LINE: If I lived in Cincinnati I would be a regular here

We had a small birthday party - six adults, two kids. On a Sunday night that was uncrowded we got a side room with a fireplace all to ourselves. I disagree with the reviews that say the service is slow - I would say relaxed. Our waiter was attentive, but then it wasn't a busy night. Hard to say. I had a tavern chopped salad which I really liked, with bacon, blue cheese and the house dressing. For dinner I had the ribs. They were very good, but a little sauce on the side would have been great. By the time I thought to ask, it wasn't worth it. The sweet potato fries were GREAT. The had a good children's menu for the kids, and the birthday girl got a free dessert. It is priced just a hair too high, but not unreasonably so.

My parents and I mixed up our normal Friday routine and wanted to try out a new spot. Parkers won because it had last-minute openings for a reservation on Open Table (and because I've driven past it a million times and have been wanting to try it out). The horse-themed decor is different and unlike any other restaurant in town, but I'm still wondering why the place was so empty on Friday night. My only guess is it's not in the best location, but I imagine it gets busier around the lunch hour. We started with the smoked wings. My dad is obsessed with anything smoked, so he made a point of confirming with our waiter that they are, in fact, smoked (they are). Our waiter suggested we get the BBQ sauce on the side (usually it comes on the wings), and we were so glad we took his recommendation. They were perfectly crispy and smokey, and most definitely the highlight of our meal. My mom went with the house specialty prime rib, I ordered the chicken pot pie, and my dad ordered the goat cheese ravioli. We were all satisfied with our meals, just not blown away. But, the service was great and the experience was very pleasant overall, so I wouldn't mind giving Parkers another chance.

We were here for a rehearsal dinner and were waited on very well. My husband and j had their filet mignon and it was decently prepared. Felt like the food overall had nothing that set it apart. I could get this same dinner any number of places. The bar area was right outside our reserved room and their was live music going most of the time we were there. Rather loud and distracting. We had to pass through the bat to get to our room both ways and it was difficult to traverse, being rather close quarters. Overall, it was average. Nothing to bring me back.

Just ok. Food was good but not great. Prime rib is better at National Exemplar, onion soup is better many places, augratin potatoes are better at Bonefish. Not enough cheese in either. Service was poor. Surprising for the price. Now I know why it's been so long since I was here

Went here for lunch with work colleagues. Lunch can be tricky since time is a factor, but the waitress was prompt and efficient and food came out quickly. I ordered the penne with shrimp and spinach. It was cooked in butter and olive oil - just enough - with fresh tomatoes, barely wilted spinach (nice!), feta, and regianno parmesan. The serving size was good for lunch, and I would order it again. The atmosphere was good for conversation - I would definitely try it again for dinner.

Went here for the last time tonight! I have given this place multiple chance to improve over the last two months..... Sadly it has not done well. When I first started going here it was great... Quality food ... Quality service! Tonight the first batch of mussels were reheated ... The second batch was under cooked.... Filet Oscar was missing crab and asparagus when brought to table ... My wife's salad was drenched even soaked in dressing! Will not be going back!!!!!

My wife and I met some of my family members for lunch at Parkers Blue Ash Tavern over the weekend. Parkers is hard to miss at the corner of Reed Hartman and Cooper, though the large white Colonial style building looks more like a home than a restaurant. The walls inside are decorated in equestrian style and several distinct dining areas are offered. Since the weather was so pleasant, we decided to sit on the patio, which was not as big as I expected. With so many tables inside I assumed there would be more than a handful of tables available on the outside. Even so our party of eight didn't have to wait long to be seated at a table (or two). The lunch menu offers plenty of burger and sandwich choices, as well as seafood and a selection of tavern favorites. I went with one of these favorites, the Tavern "Mac & Cheese" with cavatappi pasta, chicken, Andouille sausage, applewood smoked bacon, scallions, spicy tomato cream sauce topped with Parmesan panko bread crumb ($13). I'm guessing the mac & cheese was put in quotes as the dish isn't really all that cheesy, but it is very good. Parkers is known for their prime rib, and many in our group took advantage of the daily trifecta offering of prime rib sliders served with a choice of soup as well as fries, coleslaw, or house-made chips ($12). I didn't try any of this, but everyone who ordered seemed very pleased. A small variety of craft beer options were available as well as an award-winning wine list. Our service was very friendly, but a little on the slow side. However I think Parkers is meant for a relaxed and slow-paced meal. Though a children's menu is offered, I'm not sure our kids would have enjoyed our nearly one and half hour visit to Parkers.

This is a great spot, the food is great and the atmosphere is really enjoyable. Everything I have had was spot on, the steaks are cooked to perfection, the desserts are good (the cheese cake is my favorite ) and the appetizers are good as well. I recently went for a wedding rehearsal and I was very pleased. I have nothing bad to say about the experience. They also have a lot of craft beer options as well. The building has so much character and the price is cheaper than most like it. I would definitely return, the staff seems very seasoned and tentative too. Best restaurant in Blue ash.

I was happy with the Sunday brunch at Parkers Blue Ash Tavern. The food was hot, fresh, and filling. There was a nice mix of breakfast and lunch/dinner type items. The omelets from the omelet bar were the perfect size. Slightly smaller, allowing for more room to try other things. The prime rib was the most tender out of any prime rib I have ever had. Biscuits were fluffy. I had never seen 8 cheese mac and cheese or wild game lasagna before. Dessert was a bit of a mixed bag. Some items tasted fresh and house or homemade. Others had a bit of a packaged taste. My favorite was the lemon bar. It was very tart. I also enjoyed the plain brownie. The donuts holes that they bring to the table were strange. They has the taste and texture of fried biscuit dough. Half of one was too much for me. Sunday brunch includes various drinks. The equestrian decor was tastefully done.

We got take out. It was "OK", but not great. I had the crab cakes which were gummy and lacked flavor and lacked crab. One of my co-workers had fish (salmon I believe) that was really, really salty. Another worker's dinner was good and the appetizer was good. It was OK, but I doubt I'd go back.

We had dinner at Parker's with a large group of people in a private room. Have to say that the wait staff seemed polite enough, but honestly the food made me feel tepid about our experience. As a point of comparison, the thing I liked the most was a wonderful mint & verbena tea from Harney & Sons. In fact, I liked it so much that I ordered some as soon as we got home. Perhaps if we had gone on a warmer night, we might've eaten outside on the patio. Not a do over.

I came here with my boyfriend and his family for dinner and it was a memorable experience. The exterior looks like a ranch-home, and the interior has decor that resembles a barn to pull together a classic race-horse theme. It sounds strange, but it was quite homey and cozy inside with a touch of elegance. All of the staff were amazingly kind as well. I had the prime rib, which was one of their signature dishes, and a baked potato as my side. The prime rib was absolutely divine! And the horseradish sauce was perfect. It was a pretty large portion, so I had to pack half of it to take home (no complaints there). For dessert, my boyfriend and I shared the creme brulee cheesecake.. which was also fantastic. I'd definitely come here again when willing to make the drive, because it is well worth it.

This review is for the bar area. We went here for a late dinner and were sat in the bar because the dining room was closing down. They had entertainment, which in and of itself was mediocre, but what made it worse was the noise level. My party was sitting on the opposite side of the room from the small band and we had a hard time having a conversation due to the volume. The food was good, but not worth the noise.

Hey after a meeting at nearby Kroger Technology center a group of co-workers and I stopped by for happy hour drinks, we sat outside on the patio as it was a beautiful afternoon. I enjoyed my favorite beer Great Lakes Nosferatu on tap, fellow co-workers enjoyed Rhinegeist and few enjoyed wine. Parkers is fine location for happy hour in the Blue Ash area.

Not a fan. Took my mom and family there for Mother's Day brunch and was not impressed. The food was alright, service was very poor and where we were seated also served as the pathway to the outside dining area, which means we were bumped nonstop throughout our meal. This place might just have ruined brunches for me for life.

Went on Valentine day. Nice place with some awesome horse racing pictures all around the place. I had the prime rib my wife had the fish and chips. My prime rib was ok it lacked a bit of flavor. My wife said her fish was greasy. So for both of these I would not order again. On the plus side the cheese ale soup was very good. And the bread was very tasty. I would go back again and try something different. One thing salad is not included with the meal fyi.

Whenever I'm in Cincy, I love stopping in Parkers for a happy hour drink. It's a neighborhood joint for my family, and they have extremely reasonable prices on drinks. The staff is attentive and friendly, and I hope to come in for some food on my next visit.

I love Parker's...never had a bad meal or experience when I've visited, and I visit often because it's so close to my office. I've tried a variety of appetizers and entrees, soups and sandwiches. Also experienced their happy hour, great prices and options. My latest favorite is the steak quesadilla and their Firecracker sticks...be sure to give the Kentucky Hot Brown a try as well. Though I haven't been there for brunch YET, it's on my bucket list. I'll definitely try to get there during the warm weather so I can enjoy their patio. The next time you're in Blue Ash, be sure to stop by...even if your not, it's worth the drive!

Things did not start well. They put me and my granddaughter in the bar. It was noisy and made us uncomfortable. But we went ahead and ordered. Before our order came I mentioned this to our server (Charles). They moved us to a quieter location, but Charles stayed the course, coming from the other side of the restaurant. We never had the impression that we were inconvenient and we were never wanting for refills. My granddaughter ordered the French Onion Soup and the Turkey Club Sandwich with cole slaw. The sandwich and slaw were perfect. The soup was really, really salty. Charles took it back and took it off our bill. I ordered the Kentucky Hot Brown and cole slaw. The cole slaw tasted just like mine so, of course, I thought it was great. The Hot Brown was a bit underseasoned, but pretty good.. (If only we could have taken some of the salt from the soup.) They were a bit pricey ($32 for two sandwiches and drinks), but it was a birthday lunch for my granddaughter. I gave it a four because it wasn't great, but I plan on checking them out again. It's a nice restaurant for lunch. The food was good. Service was great.

I really wanted to like this place, it's a cool looking restaurant with a good atmosphere but the food was horrible. The chopped salad was chopped iceberg lettuce in a pool of dressing that had no taste. 2 of us at the table ordered the NY strip and both were so tough we could barely cut the steak. I was told everything was charcoal grilled by the waiter, however, none of the steaks had grill marks or tasted that way. I think this would be a nice place to get a few drinks but I will not be eating here again.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a review of a Yelp! event, but of an actual visit to the restaurant. I only state that I attended a Yelp! event here, because it is what made me put this on the list of places to return to. If it hadn't been for that event, I would most likely never have gone here. My first experience at Parker's was for a Yelp! Elite event. The food was way more than light bites and totally amazing. So, the BF and I knew that we'd be back one day. It was kind of late one night and we were both hungry. We were going to our neighborhood standby, Chili's, but they were either crowded or there was some other issue. So, we headed over to Parker's for quite a different dining experience. The BF ordered prime rib and I had crab cakes. They were both very, very good. The portions were generous and we both ended up taking food home. While the prices are on the higher side, they aren't out of line for similar type places. The atmosphere is cozy (we dined in a booth in the bar area) and it is obviously a place with a lot of neighborhood regulars. The theme, as mentioned by others, is horses. I think the bar is supposed to give the vibe of a tack house. I'm not sure about the rest of the restaurant, because we were in an event room for the Yelp! event and other than that, I only saw the bar. Service was good and the waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, as I would expect from such an establishment. Will I be back? Yes. Will it be often? No. It's too pricey for frequent dining, but I would definitely go back for a nice dinner. My only negative would be that there were not really any vegetarian options on their menu besides vegetarian chili (I prefer making my own) and butternut squash ravioli (not at all a fan of butternut squash ravioli).

I've been here several times for lunch. Hard to find anything we ordered that was not good. A decent wine list, yummy soups, fun atmosphere and good wait staff. I hope to make it for dinner soon and I'm sure it will be a terrific experience as well. As for prices.... no one should be surprised if they check Yelp or Parker's web site.

It's interesting when reading through the reviews how many customers are either unhappy with the price/portion ratio OR are completely satisfied with their Parkers experience, yet can still only muster 3 stars. I've been once, and it was a phenomenal experience. Brunch is $23 in 2014 and that includes all you can eat amazing-ness, plus a complimentary mimosa (or other select adult drinks) and a regular drink. Their affection for Cajun food was unexpected and perfectly done; I had to assure my wife that just because Parker's grits were amazing, that doesn't necessarily mean she likes grits. Our server was attentive, kind, and helpful. The prime rib was to die for. Biscuits and gravy were lip-smacking goodness. Nothing was below par, except for the possible exception of the potatoes, which were more done than I prefer. Parker's averages 3-1/2 stars on Yelp as I write this, I'm guessing it's because their dinner is expensive or their beer portions are less-than-standard. Had I known how good THE FOOD was two years ago when I moved here and started checking Yelp for local offerings, I would have added Parker's as my "go-to" restaurant spot for special occasions. Better late than never, I suppose.

All in all it's not bad but the beers are way, way overpriced. Between $6 and $8 for and 8oz glass of craft beer. There are two sets of draft taps as you face the bar. On the right is Yuengling, Fat Tire and a few other good beers. Out of those taps you will get a 16oz (pint) pour. The taps on the right are designated craft beers and that's where you get an 8oz pour for between $6 and $8. When the waitress brought me my Blank Slate in a small pilsner glass I was shocked. I sent it back and started out with water. I did get a 12oz bottle ($6.50) and asked for the same glass so I could measure the volume. Sure enough, it would only hold 2/3rds of the bottle, (8oz). So, at the Cock & Bull I can get all the same "craft" beers in an Imperial pint (20oz) for $6.25 to $6.50 a glass. That same pull would run you between $15 and $18 at Parkers. The beer prices are totally out of line! The mussles were very good. The calamari was lightly breaded and had banana peppers mixed in that I enjoyed. Another one of our party had a burger and gave it high marks. I wanted to order the bread pudding but the waitress didn't come back around because they were understaffed in the bar area. She was great, just over burdened. The band, Slice, was really good. There are far too many good restaurants to be experienced to bother to return to this one since I do like a good beer but don't like being ripped off. __________________________________________________Â_____ Went to Claddagh Irish Pub in Newport the next night. 20oz (Imperial pint) of King Ludwig, Smithwicks, and another craft beer on nitro (forget name) were all $6.00. Also was just at Jungle Jims today and the price differential between Fat Tire and a beer from Stone brewery is not 250%. The local brewers like Rivertown, Blank Slate, Triple Digit, MadTree, Rhinegeist, Mt. Carmel, Listermann, and Fifty West should be upset that their product is priced so far anything that could be considered reasonable. When I originally brought this up to the manager he simply stated that the beers deemed "craft" were more expensive. He obviously had no interest in hearing my opinion. That's unfortunate. Growing up in my parents restaurants gave me an appreciation for how difficult that business and how the general public can be a real pain in the neck. But I know they always wanted to provide a quality product at a fair price. Except soft drinks... they're always at a ridiculous markup. These beer prices are not fair. Not by a long shot. __________________________________________________Â_____ A 22oz Moerlein Helles Lager is $13 at the Reds game. Outrageous but still less expensive than Parkers.

Easter dinner buffet, not an enjoyable meal, I think it was $ 37+ to stand in line (only one line) behind all the kids, wheelchairs, small serving room, one server cutting main entree, everyone wants the prime rib the ham tasted like and looked like a cheap krogers, and tasted like it, only tried it because they kept running out of the price email rib and took 3-5 min for replacement price email rib every 10-12 people from 5pm-6 there were 12-25 people in the line all of the staff looked like a deer in the headlights big beautiful facilities, beautiful interior

We had a work happy hour here that was scheduled the day before (because I forgot to reserve in advance!). They were the utmost in professionalism and quickly pulled together the catering and contract for our large group (~40 people). Upon arrival, it's an elegant atmosphere and service was top-notch. They have a good craft beer selection and reasonable wine offerings. I was most impressed with the food - we had meatballs, spinach/artichoke dip, fruit and cheese trays, and 'dynamite sticks' and everything was really, really good. I couldn't have been happier with the ambience, service, and food. Highly recommend if you have a social event to organize or are looking for a nice place for food and drinks in the area!

Food is good and service is very good. But holey moley, the prices are more like they are premium. Pay attention when ordering, I would give them $$$ not two.

I've been here a few times for work lunches. The food is fine, service is fine, nothing spectacular. They do have a decent bourbon selection that I wasn't at liberty to try on the clock. I am a vegetarian and they have two options-a veggie burger made in house that is good, and a veggie chili that is ok. My problem was that the veggie chili is a combo with Caesar salad. I was excited and asked if the Caesar salad was vegetarian (like melt-yum). She server looked at me like I was stupid. I asked if there were anchovies in the dressing. Sigh. Why bother with making a veggie chili if you pair it with something not vegetarian? Anyway, bottom line is, I will eat here as long as it's a work lunch, but this is not a place I would choose (and pay for) myself.

Food was really good I recommend the Tilapia or saint Louis ribs. Bread before the meal is pretty awful but that's about the only bad thing I can say, we will be back.

We tried booking Thanksgiving dinner here for weeks. After being skunked every time I finally booked somewhere else. But luck was on my side! I was on Opentable.com to cancel a res that I booked somewhere else and it showed me available places in the area. Who else would pop up other than this place?!! LUCKY!!! The dinner: We came in about 10 min early. Ample parking and a warm greeting made us feel right at home. We were sat next to the fire place that was off. I made a comment about how nice it would be if it were on. A sever passing by overheard me and badda bing, we were cooking with fire!!! We got a bottle of wine ordered and served and I got an Eagle Rare bourbon served chilled, neat. We then set out for the food. We knew it was a buffet and accepted that it would be less than perfect. We were wrong!!!! Every single little bit was great! The prime rib was sooooooo freakin good!!! I had three cuts.... Ooops. The turkey was moist and delicious. All 20 sides were perfect!!! Service. Selection. Food. Bourbon. Atmosphere. This place has it all!!!

A friend and I came here for Sunday Brunch. A complimentary mimosa--why not? The brunch buffet is located in a separate room and along with the usual offerings, there's fresh waffles, a beautifully decorated smoked salmon, and an omelet station. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Met a friend here after work for Happy Hour after seeing on their website that they had half price drafts and apps in the Tap Room. Neither of us had been before and we were excited to try a new place with such a good HH deal. The place reminded me of a country club lodge or something- didn't get to see the main dining room but the place seems really big. We sat out on the patio which was really lovely. We shared a couple of apps, had the steak quesadilla which was good and the fried zucchini which my friend loved but I thought it was just so-so. The service was good, it can be hard to wait on tables inside and outside but I felt like we were never waiting for a drink and we got checked on frequently. We all tried a few different draft beers- they have 17 craft beers on tap and a really great selection including some local brews that I have never heard of (and that were awesome). Where we were disappointed is that their website says half price drafts, but when we got our bill it was only $1.50 off- and we were told that was the HH special, not the half price drafts. This normally wouldn't make too much of a difference except some of the drafts are $7+ so it adds up. After confirming on our phones that the website did say half price, we asked to see a manager who came out promptly- he said that the half price drafts was not the special (and that he would go broke if it was), but that he would adjust our bills anyway and update the website. So he took care of the issue, but it appears that half price drafts used to be the special according to some of the reviews here (and according to their website) so I guess the jury is out on what's going on with that story. So long story short, we had a nice time, it's a nice place with a good draft selection and good service, food was decent. Might be back to check out brunch or something but probably won't drive out of my way again for HH.

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. They are now on the top of my list of favorite places to go for steak. Their Filet Mignon with Bearnaise and Au-gratin Potatoes were perfect. They melt in your mouth divinely. I've never even seen Au-gratin potatoes so perfectly layered with soft, cheesy, lightly browned on top goodness. Usually they are slightly hard and messy at other places (well, they are at my home anyway). The place was so relaxing outside on the patio. With a cosmo in hand, green trees all around (you would never know the congestion on the other side of those trees), beautiful flowers and perfect temperatures. Even the ladies room was nice. I always love when there is plenty of room to turn around in the stall and not fall on the seat before you're ready (I know, I could have left this out, but I'm a real reviewer). Our server Peg was very polished and "in the know" of the best things to order. She took great care of us and was very pleasant to talk to. Our compliments again to the Chef, we have now found our new Anniversary spot.

Parkers is good. A little pricy for a regular visit, but I'll still go every once in a while. They have a really good menu in NY opinion. They have a decent amount of options, a lot of salad options, I love the dynamite sticks, and they're great for groups. My favorite dish is the salmon dish. It seems to be the perfect amount of food- not too much that I'm super full, but just enough to Co side it a meal. Make sure you get it cooked medium tho. That's what they will regularly cook it but make sure you ask. There desserts are delish also. I got one when I first went, but I can't remember what I got. I just know it was good. I also go for work a lot so you know it's good for groups. I highly recommend it and I definitely will be back!

Pretty disappointing brunch today. We've made it a tradition to come here every year after the Flying Pig and it continues to go downhill. For example, we sat and waited for over 10 minutes to be greeted by a server for drinks. My Bloody Mary was terrible...plain and no garnish (celery/olives/etc.). Biscuits and gravy were old toast and cold gravy. Only one guy working the omelet station, waffles and meat carving. They were out of things constantly. Never had any chocolate chip cookies in the pan. Couldn't keep up on the waffles. They were gone as quickly as they were made. We went at 12:30. Brunch went until 2:00. I feel bad for those after us. Nothing will be left. I think we'll find a new tradition!

I have never experienced a bartender as rude as the bartender I encountered at Parker's. A few girlfriends and I went in for happy hour, I ordered a vodka martini, the bartender didn't ask how I like it, he just got to mixing, what I was served was more vermouth than vodka. It was terrible. I brought this to the bartender, Matt's attention, to which he promptly rolled his eyes, walked away without saying a word and went about his business serving others and didn't come back for 10 minutes. It was then that we attempted to set a new martini in front of me, again, not asking my preference and in the process, he spilled a 1/3 of it on the bar. Again, didn't say anything. He didn't try to wipe up his spill, he just walked away. I had to have a friend ask the stranger next to her if he could hand us some bar napkins so I could clean up the vodka spill. This isn't the first time I have been in Parkers and received poor service and attitude from this same bartender. Bottom line, if you are not a "regular" that he's chummy with, you will either be ignored or given extremely poor and rude service. This is all a shame. I really want to like this place, it's super close to my office and my home, however, I'll never go back again.

Parker's hosted a Spanish wine taste with dinner. My wife being Spanish, I decided to take her for a nice dinner. Chef Dave and his staff did and excellent job of bringing traditional Spanish food to Ohio. From the Tapas to the main course they did the Spanish quizeene proud. Paella being my favorite and my wifes gets compared to her mothers, Parkers did a good job of bringing this typical spanish dish justice. The meal make my wife homesick. The wine provided for the individual courses were from Spanish vinyards and on target with each course. Parkers wants to do more of these events. The price was resonable, service was great, the food was on the money. Can't wait for German night.

My husband and I went to the Sunday Brunch. It was great and everyone was very attentive. We will go again!

(3)Chad G.
(5)Michelle B.
Excellent service- food was great. Nice selection for brunch.
(5)Olivia M.
(5)Chris C.
(3)Chris G.
(3)Bernard B.
Used to like this place but unfortunately it has declined in quality and service. Maybe it will improve.
(1)Roger M.
(2)Annie B.
(5)Whit R.
HA!
(4)Aaron H.
(2)David F.
We stopped for dinner one night. Both had burgers, they were fairly conventional, a little on the dry side for medium. Service was friendly and the physical space was very nice. Lots of horse racing paraphernalia on the walls.
(3)Susan D.
(3)Abby G.
(4)Jack S.
I ordered the New York Strip, what a mistake, go to McDonald's instead and get a crappy Big Mac. Not cooked to specs, asked for blackening - not and 1/3 fat. What a joke.
(1)Lori H.
Loved the atmosphere. The prime rib was great and cooked to perfection. Large draft beer selection. You can cork your wine bottle and take it home. Very attentive wait staff. We drove from Northern KY and will be back.
(5)Rasha A.
(4)Kevin B.
(4)Karen C.
(4)Courtney C.

(5)Sarah F.

(3)Josh R.
(4)Christiaan T.
filet mignon with bearnaise melts in your mouth. This may have just became the best filet I have had
(5)Marcus D.
I went here with my now finance last winter for dinner and had a good meal. The food was very good and the atmosphere is fancy. There are some interesting horse racing saddles and pictures and a huge fireplace. The service was good but could have had a friendlier waiter.
(3)Kevin P.

(3)Chad L.

(4)Abbe C.

(4)Barb D.

(2)Joann J.
This should be $$$ NOT $$ we didn't stay because it was WAY more expensive than expected.

(4)Sara B.
Food is good and service is very good. But holey moley, the prices are more like they are premium. Pay attention when ordering, I would give them $$$ not two.
(3)Kyla M.
(3)Kenny T.

(4)Ashley M.

I was in cinci for a few days for work and I ended up going back to this place a second time because it was so good. Get the prime rib.
