Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Horrible!!!! Will never return to this location!! Always out of food, and make you wait. Poor service!! Unfriendly! Food quality suffers! Go to the one by the bowling alley, it is sooo much better! Update 7/15 That was a bad experience they were having a bad day, and perhaps I was also. This place is ok. Parking is always an issue, but the food is always worth it.

Filthy. Unmaintained. No soap in bathroom, and when reported, never went to fix it. Small portions, not chipotle-ish in the least. Tastes good though. Hmmm.

This location is horrendous. From the incorrect store hours on the door to the exceptionally rude people working there. This place is not going to win any repeat business and doesn't deserve to. Hard to mess up an easy formula for fast food success, but the folks here have done just that. Don't go. Ever. Just drive down the street a little ways to the next one.

Excruciatingly slow service. Workers on the line mumbled, moved at a glacial pace and were skimpy on the portions.

Always understaffed to handle the demand. Looking at a20 minute wait every time I walk in this place. No sense of urgency at all

This location is ALWAYS packed. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes in line at any given time. Staff will often ignore you to fulfill fax/call in orders as well. The cashier often disappears, causing even more of a backup in the line. Too bad it's the only one in the area, or I'd definitely go to a different one.

I use to go here for years. It was never one of the good Chipotle's in the neighborhood but it's close to the house. They never fill the bowls and they always get upset if you ask for extra beans or rice. Recently, I decided to try the guac and I got it home and started chowing down. I start dipping my chips into the guac and rice mixture and I pull up a clump of hair on my chip. (I'm gagging as I'm typing this up.) I can handle a hair or so but this was just insane. It was black and long and stringy... Because of this, I will never be able to eat Chipotle or anything similar again.

Stay away from this poorly managed chipotle. Do yourself a favor an go down to the newer one near western bowl.

By far the worst in this area. It takes at least 10-15 minutes to get through the line. They are always understaffed and run out of items causing your food to get cold. Their portions are small. Chipotle isn't cheap so if your looking to get your money's worth, drive to the one down the street!

I love Chipotle burritos. I think I could eat it several nights a week and not get tired of it. Servings are huge and prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, their burritos appear to be "good for you food." But, they hide the calories under the healthy ingredients. The tortilla alone is over 300 calories. They add sugar to the rice to make it taste better. A burrito can top our well over 1000 calories depending on what meat you choose. Here is the healthy option... Get the bowl instead of the burrito. Chicken is the lowest cal meat option. The veggies are only 35 calories a serving, so ask for extra. Feel free to get either type of beans. I love the corn salsa, but it is a little high in calories (100 a serving). I usually splurge and get it. The mild tomato salsa is very low in calories, so ask for extra. Unfortunately, for it to be low cal, you have to skip the cheese, sour cream, and guac. I usually only eat half and still feel full. Hint for added flavor- Try the Chipotle Tabasco sauce over by the drink fountain. Service is always fast and generally pleasant. Lines can be long at meal times, but move quickly. Atmosphere is generally lacking- the stainless steel decor leads to a very loud restaurant. I recommend taking it to go and eating it with a beverage in front of the TV. Perfect for a week night when you don't want to cook.

When I started my current job, the office was in a love affair with Chipotle. They would go so often that they were friends with the staff. Needless to say I got sucked in as well. But the office was on the east side of town, what was a Westsider to do? Thank goodness Chipotle opened a location on the West Side (best side). Now I can get those delicious burritos anytime I need them. This location is always crowded. I mean line-out-the-door crowded, so I suggest using the online ordering. I love walking straight to the front of the line, picking up my food and walking right back out. Silently laughing at those fools in line. Ever heard of the internet?! HAHAHAHA!

Probably not the highest quality of food, but definitely has a spicy zest that can get you addicted. Big giant burritos that will stretch your mouth. Much better than submitting yourself to the evil of Taco Bell. I came to love the fajita burrito. They'll usually let you choose what you want in it, which is a bonus. Best for take out. There is a dining area but it's only slightly fancier than your typical fast-food type place. Has a corrugated steel thing going on, kinda reminds me of a metal work factory. Try to avoid getting into a fist fight with anyone about how to pronounce the name while you're there.
