I agree with Sara P's opinion of Barnesburg being a great combo barstaurant. The dining room in the far back is fairly isolated from the loudness and busyness of the main bar area. This makes conversation, especially for those with with hearing difficulties, much easier and enjoyable. The server we had was super perky and attentive. She was quick with our food and refilled my glass many times. I also had a Magners Cider which paired well with my Pizza Pizza dillas (cheesy awesomeness) and Veggie Burger with fries (okay, not the best veggie burger I've had). There are lots of drink specials. There is a random wifi network or two that you can use. TV's are visible from all angles. The parking lot can be a little crowded and there are a few spots that are for the NYPD Pizza, so pay attention and don't park in those. My first visit to Barnesberg was great and if I ever come back I hope that the experience repeats itself.

Good food (fish and chips, chicken salad sandwich) and excellent service but high prices for a local, off-the-beaten path bar/restaurant. $14.99 per person for a simple lunch is just a tad ridiculous...we won't return.

Great wings and daily drink specials. Friendly wait staff. Only thing keeping away the Fifth star is the fact that none of their wings are actually spicy. I'll have to start asking them to make them as spicy as they can or provide them with some of my homemade recipes. :)

This is a great little off-the-beaten path neighborhood place. The services is always friendly and the food is pretty good for bar food. The reason to go is that it's an independent place making its way in a corporate world. There's a good size bar on one side and the restaurant on the other half is very family friendly. There are tons of TVs around if you want to catch a game or games while you're there.

Love the burgers, the best around. The bun it is on just tops it. Fries are awesome. Love the friendly atmosphere.

Great for happy hour best beer special in the area. Food is delicious and we'll priced. Love trivia night and power hour. Parking can sometimes be difficult it's the only down side.

One of the better executions of a bar with a separate--and comfortable--dining room and casual , moderately priced food. As another reviewer notes, there's nothing unusual on the menu, but in my several visits I've found very dependable quality. There's usually a happy hour half-price appetizer, last evening it was 6 wings for $2.50. They do a nice job on their ribs and burgers, too. Servers are young, friendly and efficient.

I've been to Barnesburg a few times in the past several years. It's become quite popular, which I can kind of understand. The food is pretty good (although I wouldn't say they do anything unique or extra special) and the service has always been friendly. It's usually been fairly crowded the last few times I've been, so a nice atmosphere. Nice place. Just not out of this world.

Very inconsistent. One time the meal will be good with good service. The next time the food will be so-so and the service slow. Tonight we waited over 30 minutes for two burgers. The fries were slightly warmed over. It was a good thing we had ordered appetizers. The bill was $48 (no alcohol). I wish we had driven up the street to Fridays.
