Stopped to get food while on a trip. We normally love DQ burgers and sandwiches, but were extremely disappointed with the food at this location. I ordered my favorite, the Turkey BLT, it was terrible. Inside was a huge chunk of the yellow center of a head of lettuce that I immediately removed. I tasted the remaining tiny piece of lettuce that was in there and it tasted old, sour, and like it had spent weeks in the refrigerator. The tomatoes were not ripe, the bacon was not cooked all the way, and the turkey tasted sour, like it was a few days past the use-by date. I put it back in the box and my husband returned it to the counter saying that it was not good to eat, explaining what was wrong with it. He asked them to cook me a burger instead. They were polite and said they would check on items in the refrigerator and they cooked a burger for me. The burger meat was dry and tasteless, the bun had to be at least a couple of days old at best. This was my very worst Dairy Queen experience ever. We did not have ice cream so cannot comment on the freshness of it, but if the food is that bad, then I don't want to even try it. Do not recommend for food and we will not stop there again next time we go up to MI. Terrible. Stay away!
