Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

For as much money as they charge, the food was less than mediocre by any standards. Hopefully they start taking some pride in their work, as the dayton store has always been a favorite.

The food isn't bad; I usually get a sub. Not sure why we continue to try to get delivery. Every time it takes forever, the driver has said they cant find us yet never call us to tell us this. We live very close and in an easy to find neighborhood. Also, out of 7 orders; we have never had the order be correct. Due to not a lot of delivery options around us we always try it again and are disappointed and then the cycle happens again. Not really worth the effort.

I have to say I've tried Milano's on 4 different occasions, and still haven't found a sandwich I'm over the moon about. The beer selection is decent, but the service is subpar. Better restaurants in the area, we'll probably go there from now on. Meh.

Meh. Not all that impressed. I had the Italian Beef which was a bit tough and lacking in flavor. The service was good though.

A friend and I had lunch here today; pretty crowded. I had the grilled chicken and provolone sub which was good but could have used more chicken and less lettuce. Server was efficient and friendly.

These calzones are delicious!!! I tried the both extreme meats and italian meats recently when my husband kindly brought some to my work (thanks love!). They were super stuffed with goodness! So much meat and veggies!! And the crust was so thick and fluffy- I really am a sucker for fluffy bread. Yum! The calzones are quite large as well. Half of one was enough to fill me up. My only complaint was the hot peppers (husband accidently got hot peppers in both calzones)- those things are ridiculously hot!!!!! My mouth was burning! If you love super spicy, you'll love 'em hahaha. Definitely will come back for a calzone, minus the hot peppers :P

This place has a pretty classic sub. I like the openness of the restaurant and the feel of the place. Pretty cool place 4/5

Good food, but awful service (delivery). After a half dozen tries, we have only had one or two good experiences. Order has been repeatedly incorrect or cold upon delivery. The food is good, so save yourself the headache and do dine-in or pickup.

Lunch June 16 Would like to give 3.5 Stars. Hadn't been to Milano's since it was a whole in the wall serving incredible grinders down by UD. This is a very different place than before. Kinda like a pizza/sub version of BDubs. Not saying that that is a bad thing, just saying it's much different than the old days. So onto the Food. Love the house made Italian dressing, but thought the tomatoes detracted from the flavor. Liked that they give you some fresh baked garlic bread with salad. Nice touch! Got my standard PSO pizza ( pepperoni, sausage and onion). Pizza topping and construction of pizza was very similar to Marion's. The big difference was the bottom crust. Milano's crust is more like a hand tossed and is much thicker than Marion's. Plus it had some crust, like a NY style pie around the edges. SO...if Milano's opened in Tampa, it would be a top 2 pizza (Along with Babe's Pizza), but unfortunately, in the Dayton dominated pizza market, I would probably just stick with Milano's great variety of tasty subs - which are still top notch!

Just a quick one from me here, rather than my usual longer reviews. I wish there was a Milano's closer to me. Their sandwiches are tasty and they're one of the few places around where I can get a good Chicago-style Italian Beef sandwich, dunked in the au jus. That said, I don't do their pizza or pasta. I've found those both to be rather lackluster. However, their sandwiches, especially with their giant, deep fried potato wedges? I'll do that I'll day long. Enjoy!

I used to go to Milanos all the time but the last time I went there I was very disappointed! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and the bread it came with had mold all over it! I brought it to the attention of my server who got the GM. The manager didn't apologize but offered to take 50% off the dip... Seriously?!?! We couldn't even eat it! She brought out stale tortilla chips for us to use. That's not what we ordered or wanted. Isn't Milanos supposed to be known for their fresh baked bread?

Services sucked had to get our own drinks from the bar!! Food was dropped and did not know till the new food came out .... 50min wait time.. No apology

Arrived to a 25 min wait, it was a Friday night so I understand. Skylar was our waitress, and her service was outstanding. She was very attentive and hospitable, I can't say enough at how welcome she made all of us feel. The food was great at usual, we ordered the appetizer sampler, which is awesome because it has something for all of us. My kids like the potatoes wedges and fried mozzarella, the wife likes the nachos and I go for the onion petals with horseradish dipping sauce. The pizza is delicious, easily some of the best in the area. We had a large deluxe with no mushrooms, sub black olives. Really good. I recommend. To finish it out we ordered the Tiramisu and shared it. It was creamy and fresh. We started eating it before I had a chance to take a picture, luckily there was a small piece left. This was an outstanding dining experience, thanks to Skylar and great company. Enjoy good eating!

Always love their AC sandwiches and baked steaks. Never disappointed with their subs. They are a good place for lunch.

BBQ chicken pizza a 2 thumbs up! Heavenly delicious I recommend trying this. I like to get it as a kids meal which comes with a side and a drink since everything at Milanos is so expensive . It's plenty of food for one person at a decent price of 5 dollars ;) they'll charge a few Extra cents for the specialty kids pizza but def a cheap tasty way to go

Great atmosphere! We were able to get a seat right away and were waited on really quickly. They have a great drink menu, and 24 craft beers on tap! We had pizza; it was really good - next time we visit, however, we will be trying the subs. If you are ever in the Beavercreek area, this is a great place to stop.

Atlantic City Not, but it is a sub and pizza place! FOOD: Milano's is an ok sub place that has some other pasta and calzone dishes that do not wow. I have tried several items here, calzones, salads, sandwiches and pastas. I wish the quality was better, but after trying several items, it just lacks the pizzaz. The calzone was good, but the sauce lacked flavor. The chicken cheesesteak was a bit greasy. ATMOSPHERE: Great place for kids and friends. Good selection of beers at the bar too! SERVICE: It was good. Very personable servers who wish the food wowed more folks :-)

This place was ok. I went in because the facade made it look enticing. The inside was nicely decorated but we sat outside on the patio. Sub was ok, too much mayo. Probably won't go back.

This was a stop near a prospective client. Location is good, food was okay, but the pricing was a little high for lunch. I just happened to be in the area so I stopped. If I worked near here I wouldn't stop regularly.

*Tapping fingers trying to think of something witty to say* I just can't come up with anything. Milano's isn't bad, I've just had better. The Saturday afternoon that the boy and I went it was empty but it still took a long time to be served and even though this was only a couple of weeks ago, I cannot for the life of me remember what I had... Not a good sign for me. The boy had a Philly Cheese Steak. He didn't like it. I remember mine had so little taste that I had to put salt one it which I normally don't do for a sandwich. What capped off the decision for 2 stars is that the other day whilst looking for a place to eat, we drove by and he remarked that he wished we hadn't eaten there in the first place. We kept on driving.

Food and beverages are good. But, if you are looking to watch some sports on HDTVs, you can end your search. Milano's (Beavercreek) recently upgraded their TVs with big screen HDTVs and it truly enhances the dining experience. Many sports bars promote their flat screens, but they don't carry HD feeds...beware of these restaurants/businesses! Obviously, it gets pretty crowded during football season, but it's worth the visit!!! BTW, Milano's should be recategorized as a Sports Bar.

They are know for their great subs, but the pizza is outstanding too. My fav is the Italian Meats pizza. By far the best in Dayton!
(5)Joshua P.
Everybody I know kept saying how amazing this place was, I was not very impressed. But the food was pretty good ( not amazing ) and the service was the same. I don't think that their pizza is that good but their other food is pretty good.
(4)Brandon S.
I love the pizza, and it's almost enough to dethrone Joe's as my favorite, but not quite. Still a solid second place though. Seems to have just a bit of a kick(not sure if it's the sauce or the sausage) and I love the crust. The thing that's keeping it from getting 5 stars is the subs(and subs is in the name). They're not bad, maybe even above average, but not quite five star. I would five the place 4.5 stars if I could.

I've been eating at the Brown St. (original location) for over twenty years and have always loved their calzones. In fact, when I was in the military and came home on leave, Milanos calzones are one of the first things I wanted to eat. I've eaten at this new location in Beavercreek a few times and haven't been disappointed, seems as good as the original location and fewer rowdy college kids from UD, much quieter (if you're into relaxing during a meal that is!). The service tonight was great, our server was friendly and prompt, was always there when we needed attention with hovering, good job! The food was as good as it always is, can never go wrong with their calzones! Check out either location Milanos has to offer, good food in my opinion!

Got take out on a Sunday night. It was fast, and food was really good. Fried chicken tender salad and pepperoni pizza were delicious. Prices aren't too bad either. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice.

I eat at this Milanos atleast 2-3 times a week. I love it. One of my favorite places to eat. Pizza is A+ same with their Subs!

I had lunch at this location today. This is my first visit to the Beavercreek restaurant (I dined at the Brown St. location many years ago). The dining room was spacious and relaxing. My party of three was seated at a gigantic booth, however, but was better than being seated at a tiny table. Our server was very attentive and checked on us a few times during lunch. We ordered the Spinach Dip appetizer--meh. I've definitely had better. I ordered a French Bread Pizza (bread, sauce, and cheese only), which was tasty and pretty cheap. My friends seemed to really enjoy their pizzas, also. Decent menu selection, as far as I could tell. Not overly crowded for 11:30 a.m., which was a surprise for sure! I will definitely return.
