Burgers
Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Most burger restaurants in the United States often serve hamburgers with French fries and other condiments. If you have a liking for burgers in the United States, then you won't be disappointed. You can easily find the best burger restaurants in your city on our Restaurants Listings directory. Place has a bar with happy hour. Best burgers at the greene. Good spot for happy hour.

The first time we came in the food was great. My husband and I went back recently and the fries we very greasy and the burger wasn't as good as it was the first time. Would still prefer EO over Smash burger any day.

You twist your way up to the counter. Not unlike Burger King. I ordered my burger and fries and found a table. The place was nice and clean. I love the way it opened up to let the fresh air in. The burger was just average at best but very, very dry with not much taste. Hand cut fries, but they were not freshly cooked. Paying $17 plus for my food I expected salt and pepper mills or shakers not in small packs like you would find at BK. Average not great, burgers and fries. I'm going to stick with smash....

Hadn't gone in with expectations for extraordinary but I don't know if I got great or even good. The burger wasn't horrible but the lone burger I got didn't have much taste in terms of their "special sauce" and was horribly oily. To include the oily onion rings that weren't worth having in the burger. It's bad when the tastiest thing was the garlic fries we got.

When I entered EO Burgers, or Extraordinary Burgers, I noticed how much it is set up like a diner, a bar, and a restaurant. I visited during an afternoon, ordered the regular burger at the counter, and picked a table to wait for my food. Since I am into hamburgers, I figured that I would try out some burger places to get a feel of what is around the area. I was surprised that this place wasn't as busy during a weekend lunch hour, but I think that's a good sign because I wouldn't have to wait long for the food. After 8-ish minutes, someone from the kitchen placed the red plastic basket containing the burger in front of me. The burger tasted natural and beefy: with no salt and not much oil. I find this comforting, especially since these things can pack on the saturated fats and high calories. So, after dining here, I would have to give this place 3.6 stars or maybe 4 because I enjoy hamburgers, but I wasn't tasting the beef's flavor and tenderness. Maybe if I visit another time, I might have a more enjoyable experience. Personally, if an establishment markets how flavorful their food tastes, I would expect it to happen if I dined there. The positive part is that if you're on a diet or trying to cut back, do visit! I would visit if I'm in the area again. Much thanks for the great service!

EO Burgers stands for extraordinary burgers and the name fits! I came in yesterday afternoon and just got the regular cheeseburger and garlic fries. The burger was the juiciest burger I've ever had and you can definitely tell the difference in their house made sauces and fresh ingredients compared to those other burger restaurants. It was slightly more expensive than other places but its worth the quality.
(5)Steve G.
Tried them for the first time tonight. Heard the burgers were really good. I'm underwhelmed. The burgers taste good but not the price point they have. My fries are greasy and less than impressive. I don't imagine this location will survive for long. It's Saturday night and barely a third of the tables have patrons. Slow service with such a light crowd dining in.
(2)Dave R.
Good food and service the only problem here is waiting in line to get a drink. Need another drink station installed . No one should have to wait 10 minutes in line to get a drink refill while the good food is getting cold.
(3)Michael L.
Good food, OK service. Highly recommend the Santa Barbra chicken style. Staff and friendly but the one soda machine makes for a long way to get a drink
(4)Karen P.
Love EO! Burgers are great and the open area for semi-outside seating is great! My only complaint is the soda machine! There is a backup because NO ONE can read the directions! For Gods sake people- if you can't follow directions just get a regular Coke and be done!!!
(4)Tim M.
The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is the somewhat high prices. The quality of the product is VERY high. Because of this you pay a premium price. Also food is ordered a la carte ( add a side of fries for $2.5) (however 1 side can be split between 2 people) If you want a cheap burger and fries I highly recommend 5 guys. If you are ok with paying a bit more for a quality made from scratch burger then it's hard to beat e.o. Burgers. I honestly like their chicken "cluck it" sandwiches and portobello sandwich better than the burgers. Everything is always flavorful and juicy and consistently delicious. You have 2 service options when coming here which I think is nice. You can order at the cashier and have your food brought to you (similar to chipotle etc) or you can get full service at the bar (remember to tip at the bar, no tip if ordered at the cashier). I prefer the bar because the service is always casual but professional and very friendly. Speaking of the bar they have an excellent beer selection and some great wine and signature cocktails for those who don't prefer beer! Overall this is a great place to eat on a casual date, for a quick lunch, for some drinks after work, or for a family outing. It's like a mashup of high quality restaurants (great product and friendly service) with quick service restaurants (lower price point, serve yourself, more casual etc.) Just be aware again the price is higher than fast food because the product is very high quality and always fresh from scratch.
(4)Paula B.
The burger and hand cut fries were delicious! The sauces were amazing too. The wait staff was excellent and very helpful. I especially appreciated your allowing dogs on the patio. We will come again soon! Paula and Teddy

Meh. Ordered the Kobe burger with just lettuce and tomato, side of herb fries. Burger was average, needed more seasoning. The fries were ok but a little greasy. The burger had so much grease and fat dripping off of it the bun was soggy and I had a pile in my basket. Pic attached Needless to say I only ate half.
(3)Bernard M.
Extra price for Ordinary burgers, by no means extraordinary. I got the Kobe Burger (Kobe beef, sautéed onions, tomato, lettuce) and was underwhelmed. The beef was burned/crispy. Somehow despite this, there was an extraordinary amount of grease pouring out of the burger. I don't know if they added extra oil to the onions to cover up the burned beef, or the hamburger just had that much fat in it (abnormal for leaner Kobe beef). The burger itself is deserving of a 1 star, no question. The burger made McDonalds look extraordinary and gourmet. I could have saved a few dollars too! Maybe the first time in my life I wish I had gone to McDonalds instead... The only reason they earned two stars was the garlic fries. They had lots of garlic, enough to have a little bite.
(2)Dara R.
Had the Santa Barbara and and Lone Star with large combo fries and onion rings. It was so filling for two that I might suggest just getting the regulat fries and onion rings combo. The Santa Barbara, I had last time and it is definitely clean cut and juicy. The Lone Star has lots of flavors and texture going on. With the crunchy onion rings in the burger with barbecue sauce, it is definitely a more unique burger. I really liked both and of course the fries and onion rings were really good. It was especially fun trying with all different kinds of condiments- sassy sauce, smokey mayo, cholula, etc. best sauce in my opinion is the sassy sauce!
(4)Ryan M.
Can't say that I had the same experience as the other yelpers below because EOs has been consistent serving up some righteous burgers and PHENOMENAL fries. Although their prices are a little high, I do believe it is on par with other gourmet burgers and fries. If you consider 5 Guys gourmet, or are looking for a less expensive burger similar to In-and-Out, I can see how you'd be disappointed in EOs because I don't believe the burger or dinning experience can be compared to either of those establishments. I'll excuse the price of a slightly expensive burger that's both tasty and filling. Additionally, their fast and friendly service, combined with those tasty burgers, outdoor seating and closeness to the movie theater and bars earns them the four star nod.
(4)J W.
Pretty good burgers and other options for those who don't like beef (chicken and portobello sandwich options). Hand cut fries are better than any fast food burger joint. Overpriced in my opinion: $14 for a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. To me the taste isn't amazing enough to justify the price.
(3)Chad M.
First off....very pricey! Burgers only around $8-9 but with fries and sodas the price jumps BIGTIME! The burgers were pretty good, onion rings were very good, and fries were ok. It was all pretty greasy though. If given the choice in the future I will pick 5 guys instead.
(3)Nitin S.
This tender Chiken Lone Star Burger had NON CRISPY bacon with lots of fat; with little hint of BBQ sauce. The crispy onions were good but made my burger more oily. Great whole wheat bun. This burger doesnt win over McDonald's Bacon Clubhouse Grilled Chicken Burger. But I support local business...might come here again.
(3)Kevin B.
I'll sum this place up for quickly. Decent burgers in a great location with lousy pricing. I could eat a steak for what you pay for a burger & fries at this place!
(3)Jeffrey R.
The atmosphere is a bit too much like a bar for my taste, but not enough to push me away. The food is quite good, but not good enough to justify the prices. It is a little expensive when a burger and fries (the regular size, not large) can run you $12 easily. The hamburger buns don't seem to hold up either, which can result in a bit of a mess. And the onion rings are nothing special. More like onion tangles as a side, though the fries are good. I like that the side can be opened up to the street when it's warm enough and its conveniently across from the theater. The price and the bar feeling are all that keep me from giving more stars.
(4)Colleen R.
I really enjoyed going here. I got the gobble burger, parmesan fries and a chocolate custard shake. The turkey burger was super flavorful, moist and the cranberry mayo was tasty. The parmesan fries were also delicious. My boyfriend got the Kobe burger, and he said it was really good. The chocolate shake was good but ended up being too rich for my taste. I noticed people complaining about the price, but I did not find it to be that terrible. We both got fries, burgers, a beer and a shake for $28 dollars. This is obviously more than you would spend at Wendy's or McDonalds, but it is much better than fast food. This place is comparable to Five Guys, but I definitely like EO much better. They also have an awesome patio. It was great weather today so they had the doors open, and everyone was sitting outside. Bartenders were really friendly and helpful! Overall, it was a great experience and I am looking forward to going back,
(5)Dillon H.
I first took in a burger at EO at the Greene after seeing a movie there a couple weeks ago. I enjoyed it very much! I got the classic Bacon Cheeseburger, and it tasted amazing! I also got garlic fries, and they were absolutely soaked and dripping with garlic sauce. I don't know if they were supposed to be like that, but I had to eat them with a fork so my hands wouldn't smell like garlic. They have one of the Coke Freestyle (I think that's what it's called) machines, which lets you add whatever flavor to your coke product. That makes it really suck if you get behind anyone over the age of about 40. They take like an hour to figure it out.
(4)Nijole T.
Great lunch at a descent price in my opinion! The location and service is great, if a bit slow. Everything is made to order and that takes time. 6 oz burgers will run you $8 and 9oz for $10 My portabella and the kids meals are $5 each and with that the best deal! My son got 2 sliders, a heap of fries, soda and a HUGE ice cream cone! Considering the sliders are usually $8 this is the way to go and I was super jealous seeing the xtra large freshly made waffle cone with fresh vanilla custard, yum! If you are trying to be healthy the portabella is not for you, if you like sauteed veggies you'll love it as I did. Sauteed onions, peppers and a fat mushroom on a perfectly toasted bun and I got BBQ instead of mayo which was great. They offer 6 sauces, 5 of which with mayo, I tried them all, not bad. They have 3 different kids of fries, parmesan, garlic and herb, we got them all and I loved all of them, garlic being my favorite, my husband liked parmesan and son liked herb, the onion straws are good as well but the fries better. All that and a 9oz bacon cheeseburger for the man was $30, beats 5 guys and most others anyday!
(4)Mike L.
This hip and happening burger joint looked good on the outside, but however when it comes to the food it's not so great. I had the kobe burger and it was plain without taste, for 6.99 for a regular size burger I was expecting a burger better than five guys or red robin. However, EO burger is an extra ordinary disappointment. On the plus side, there bar selection was not too bad.
(2)Bobby H.
Horriable if I wanted a fast food burger I would have went to 5 guys also felt very rushed and they had the temp at about 40 in side.. Will no be returning
(1)Tieu M.
The customer service provided by Dakota was perfect. His level of customer service he provided to my pup and I should be what everyone in customer service provides. He immediately checked to see if my pup and I could dine on the patio. After confirming with his manager he showed us the gate and took my order from the patio which is above and beyond. He made she my pup and I had everything we needed to enjoy our experience here. He is someone that should be kept around as an amazing example. Finally thank you for allowing pups outside, it will be a returning customer. Thank you!
(5)Cory C.
Too expensive for ordinary burgers. Go to smashburger instead.
(2)Michael L.
Ordered a large Kobe and Parmesan fries. Topping were flavorful and so were the fries. The Kobe didn't seem any different than regular beef. Should have asked for medium. Prices are reasonable. Would come again.
(4)Seth R.
This is one of my favorite of not very favorite burger joint in Dayton. Burgers are great...service is always really good...& the parmesan rock!
(4)Mike B.
I went here because they were advertised to have "The best burger". I don't know who voted but they should not have even been in the race. I ordered a burger and onion rings. The food was greasy and would nor suggest anyone order the onion rings. The place was clean and the atmosphere was decent.
(1)Jeneane B.
I drove past this place several times before giving it a try. Knowing it was going to be a heavy meal, I wanted to go one day for lunch (so I could walk off some of the calories shopping). When I walked in and told the server it was my first time in EO Burger, she was very excited and immediately began to walk through the menu. She repeated a few times that I could get any burger and "gobble it" - get the style burger with turkey instead of beef. She promised it would taste just like a beef burger. I got the Bourbon Street burger (and I "gobbled it") with spicy mayo, grilled onions, and hot peppers. I also got a side of half parmesan fries/onion rings. The burger was fantastic - and I would really never have guessed it was a turkey burger! The side dish was enough to satisfy a few people. The fries were really nicely seasoned, and the onion rings were really light and crispy. What really made the fires/rings were the dipping sauces - I liked the horseradish and chipotle mayo sauces the best.
(4)Dan R.
Very good burgers and price was pretty good too! If your going to eat here, sit on the patio it's nice to watch the people go by!
(5)Michael R.
A lot of other reviews here slam the prices, and though it is a pretty darn good burger, I have to agree. $10 is just too much for a bacon burger (doesn't even include fries!), even if it is a big patty. That said, this place has one thing I greatly appreciate and wish more places would do - interesting custom sauces. The smokey mayo is understated and really tasty, and I really liked the "sassy", which was basically a horseradish sauce. Honestly I could see myself coming here and just getting a large fry and eating all the different sauces. The burgers are pretty good, but they're not THAT good.
(4)Jed M.
Extraordinary Burgers: Where they serve ordinary burgers. This place is good, but the burgers are pretty average and a little steep for what you're getting. Please don't get the impression that the burgers here are actually bad; I was just expecting a lot more. The fries are pretty good. The ranch is very good. I don't know if it's made there or not, but it wasn't your average ranch.
(3)Kali H.
Absolutely LOVE the Portobello Mushroom Burger. And I'd love this place even more if they'd offer sweet potato fries all year around and have buns that wouldn't fall apart in your hands. I won't lie it is very overpriced but the food is good. And I recommend the Custard Shakes if you can afford the obscene amount of calories. Yum yum!
(3)Emily S.
The burger I had here was good! I don't know why people are complaining about the prices vs. what you get. I didn't see a problem with how much the burger was. I got the turkey burger and I shared the mixed onion rings and fries with my friends and I. If I go next time, I would probably just order the onion rings. The fries were kind of soggy. What I like about EO Burgers was that there were a ton of sauces you could get to have with your fries and burger. The burgers weren't extra ordinary, but they hit the spot for burgers. The only bad thing about EO burgers was the sticky floor.
(4)S B.
Our visit was close to terrible. It gets two stars because the fries tasted decent. It's like a fast food joint at sit-down restaurant prices. Worst of all was the line you had to wait in to get a fountain drink and condiments. Just a completely horrible experience.
(2)Stephanie W.
Drove to the Greene outdoor mall from Cincinnati to dine at E.O. It was crowded, service was quick. Everyone enjoyed their burgers. Our party tried the garlic fries and parmesan fries both were delicious. They have a full service bar with reasonably priced drinks. This was my husband and I second time eating here and definitely won't be the last.
(5)Herb V.
First need to rethink the whole line thing Monday night and not busy but still people standing in the vestibule. And agree - get a second soda machine. And then waited over 15 minutes for dinner. Which is the only reason for the three stars. A very good Turkey burger and herb fries. Might not be extraordinary but not too bad. Certainly better than the chains and on par with the fancy burger joints.
(3)Danielle C.
Very good high end burger place, and their chicken sandwich was very good too. Fries and onion rings were yummy. We enjoyed sitting outside and people watching.
(4)David H.
Not worth it. Despite Dayton's lack of ethnic food, the variety of delicious classic bar eats is amazing in Dayton. Why you would come here for an overpriced burger is beyond me. Sure there are some "gourmet" burger types but its nothing the crimson avian franchise couldn't produce. The flavors here were okay...but when it comes down to cost benefit with respect to what is avail in the area I have to give it two stars. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy fine cuisine, but this didn't cut it.
(2)Bradley B.
Burgers are Over Priced and are not worth it at all. If this place was not in the Greene no one would ever go there and it would have been out of business a long time ago. The garlic fries are terrible. The only cool thing about this place is the Pop Machine that lets you pick any coke-a-cola drink you want and its touch screen. However you get a 7 year old or an old lady that spends 25 minutes looking at every single option and you end up unhappy. Go some where else and enjoy a burger and fries.
(1)Michael H.
$18 for a burger and fries...served in a plastic basket...on wimpy little bun that immediately fell apart due to all the water on the iceberg lettuce. Cheese sauce? Cold fries? It's pretty and the patio was nice for people watching, but if I want a real burger I'll stick to Tank's or Dublin Pub or Trolley Stop.
(2)Cobra K.
Ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Very average tasting burger and their secret sauce is just thousand island dressing. The dining room is nice, but I'd rather have Five Guys instead.
(3)Dennis M.
We met the owner, he was simply put, awesome. We felt like we've been in his circle forever. The burgers and fries, best I've ever had. Can't beat the bang for the buck. We are only passing through and will stop bye on our next trip.
(5)Libby V.
If you follow me, you know I'm not a burger lover but Hubby is. In my quest to please him, we headed to EO Burger Sunday for lunch. Going in, it's your typical Five Guys and a burger type chain. Except there's a huge bar! I mean big. That makes this martini bandit happy! We didn't drink but I know it's there if we ever want to go for dinner (which makes this a possibility). I ordered the Santa Fe burger with avacado and pepper jack cheese, Hubby got their signature burger and we split a small order of the combo onion rings and fries. Glad we got the small cause it was oversized! The onion rings were the tiny ones (like you get at Outback) and the fries were good. We couldn't finish half of them. What about the burgers? Hubby LOVED his (big surprise). I actually liked mine. Just like that Mikey kid...I liked it, I really, really liked it. Color me surprised. Two burgers, two soft drinks and the combo basket - $20. Tummies full, we headed to the Art Museum for the afternoon. Life is good.
(4)Gregory B.
EO Burgers was one of those places I went to when I was house hunting in Dayton and since then has been my most visited establishment. I was expecting nothing and got way more then I bargained for. First and foremost I think a lot of people would classify this as a "gourmet" burger place however I hate calling it that. When I think of "gourmet" burger places I think of red robin, max and ermas, fudruckers, etc places where you pay too much for what you get. The gourmet word is a ploy, not a description. However if you think that any place where you spend $10 on a burger is gourmet, well then I guess it is. First of all the atmosphere is amazing. They always have on news, sports, and various other channels on the tv. All this on top of their music selection is a pop-alternative which is what I like. As far as food goes I always get the Kobe Beef burger which is extremely juicy and flavorful without needing a bunch of ketchup / veggies on top of it. The burger gets its flavor from the meat, not what goes on top of it. This is what makes the burger better than one from five guys or Wendy's and is worth the couple of extra dollars. If you decide to get some fries those are also thin cut and go well with any of their multiple choices of ketchup. Finally their bar will make you alcoholic milk shakes, what more do you want? All in all EO burgers has been a hit with my friends that I've taken there however know that you are going to spend 10 bucks on a cheeseburger when you walk in there and you will not be disappointed.
(5)Neko C.
Came here with husband and husband's friends. I got an order of the sliders with bacon. They were decent- meat wasn't overcooked, the onions were well-done, and the bacon was chewy. It wasn't anything special though. I did really like my husband's parmesan fries though haha. Overall, I'd say this place was an average burger joint- nothing I would go out of my way to either eat at or avoid.
(3)Amanda A.
I was pleasantly surprised the first time I tried EO Burger. I am not normally a beef eater as I do not like the taste of it and the fat but EO is one of the very few places I will go for a burger. The meat is juicy and the cheese is melted perfectly. I like that they give you the option of different buns and would recommend the skinny bun. They are a little more expensive then a normal burger place but I feel like for the quality of the meat it well worth it.
(4)Hawaiian O.
It's a burger and fries. Nothing extraordinary, but everything was cooked well. Not sure my family and I will return, but we were happy to try it. There are better places, even within the Greene, to get a burger. One place has it on their happy hour menu and it's phenomenal!
(3)Leslie L.
The burgers are good. But the prices is pretty high for a burger. Really nothing special, but, hey, its a burger.
(3)Jonathan E.
not impressed. and certainly not "extra ordinary". it's rare that i hand out a two-star rating, and i believe it to be justified. +1 for quickly accommodating our group of 15 on a saturday evening. -1 for strange restaurant layout. the drink dispenser area is awkwardly laid out. +1 for decent atmosphere. +1 for having 9-ounce burgers available. -1 for near-absurd prices. i paid $13 + change for a 9-ounce basic burger, regular fries, and a small soda. tip not included. -1 for no table service. order up front, fast-food style. -1 for having the audacity to ask me to sign a receipt asking for a tip, immediately after ordering. i concede that this is a pet peeve of mine, however the only people deserving of tips are those who wait on tables. -1 for getting my order wrong. i specifically asked for no onions on my burger. +0 for a decent burger. i've certainly had better. my burger tonight was very messy, and didn't hold together well. +1 for friendly bus staff. -1 for the bus staff constantly clearing our table in front of us, making us feel rushed to leave. my money is better spent at five guys. i don't plan on returning. not recommended. save your cash and head elsewhere.
(2)Vincent S.
Turkey Burger was the best Turkey Burger I have ever had. This is a must go place! Great service.
(5)Mye N.
I think the food here is awesome. It's a fun sports bar to go for the evening/night. I had the chicken fingers and ranch dressing. My guy had a burger and he liked it. Oh yahh, you gotta try out the garlic fries! It's for defending against vampires.
(4)Olive D.
I know that this is really odd, but I would return to this place because of the onion strings. I have been on an eternal quest to find a restaurant/fast food place that is not a steakhouse that has onion strings that are actually prepared right. This is one of those places. God I love onion strings so much. Plus you can get a combo of onion strings and french fries. Btw the burger with bacon and cheese was pretty good. Oh and they have a coke machine that has like 100 flavors. I'm an iced tea fan so I didn't try it out, but it looked pretty neat.
(4)Alex S.
Really underrated burger. Lots of options, and really one of my favorite places at the Greene to eat when I need a good burger, and the lady friend wants to do some shopping.
(4)Nick M.
I make the drive down to Dayton several times a year to visit college friends. They live near The Green, so we always walk around the place, what else is there to do in Dayton? Anyway, we have gone to EO Burgers the last couple times and I'm a big fan. It's perfect in the summer to grab a burger and beer and people watch. They have interesting burger selections and killer shakes. The fries are hit or miss with people so try some before ordering. Cap a great burger place off with a full bar with flat-screens and you've got 5 stars. I hope they open one in Toledo soon.
(5)Jenn S.
Wow! Finally a good burger place! Went here for the first time this evening and our experience really set the bar high. Hopefully our subsequent visits are as good as this one. We are regulars at Five Guys, which we like and recently tried Smashburger, which we weren't overly impressed with. I think this may top Five Guys, but they are so different. Although a burger is a burger, I feel these aren't as greasy and artery-clogging (boy am I delusional!). Seriously though, my bun was not saturated with grease the way it is at Five Guys. My husband and I both got the regular EO Bacon Burger and split an order of Garlic Fries (we got the regular size and it fed both of us). It is made to order, so as previous reviewer stated, the food takes a little while to come to you. But, mmmmmm, everything was SO good! While the burgers weren't dripping with grease, it was still juicy and flavorful. My burger was piled so high that I couldn't even fit it in my mouth. It was also piping hot. I burnt my tongue in fact, but no big deal. The toppings were ridiculously fresh; crisp fresh green lettuce, thick cut, pickles..... :) I was majorly impressed with the bun. It wasn't a typical sesame bun, it was more like a soft roll. VERY fresh and perfect for the burger. The fries were delicious, we ate every last one in the basket. I think we will try each of the 4 varieties (regular, garlic, Parmesan, and herb-rubbed) on future visits to try them all and see which we like best; they all sound good! One of the other little pleasant surprises was the sauce selection! So many choices! We went with the homemade BBQ and the mango. I didn't even think I would like the mango sauce, but I thought it was intriguing so I wanted to try it and I'm glad I did... it was DELICIOUS! They have a fancy new soda fountain - the Coca Cola Freestyle. We had them back in Northern VA.... they are a touch screen and you can choose from limitless combinations of Coke products (Vanilla Sprite is amazing). Nothing negative to report here from our visit. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Possibly our new favorite burger joint?! We will see! It is a little expensive, but on par with Five Guys prices. We are willing to pay a little extra for burgers and fries this good.

I know it's a burger place, but I ordered their salad with grilled chicken which was nicely sized and very tasty. Chicken grilled to perfection, avocado chunks thrown in with crispy bacon bits and blue cheese crumbles. (OK, not the healthiest salad in the world, but dang, it was GOOD) Took a few of my daughter's french fries and they were perfectly cooked, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Would definitely return to try burgers next time.

High end burger place and it's worth every dime. Comparable to In n' out.

Expensive!! The food is darn good though. I am a HUGE garlic fan so when I saw that the garlic fries were nearly coated in it, I was very excited. My sister who is not like me gagged at the smell though. She enjoyed her own french fry choice though. Also highly recommend the chocolate shake! One strange thing- the atmosphere doesn't make a whole lot of sense. When I was there, it looked like it was supposed to be old fashioned diner-ish which was cute but they were playing country music loudly and Nascar was on the tv- those two things didn't quite fit. That might be a bit nit-picky of me but it was just something we noticed!

I would like to buy a hamburger. youtube.com/watch?v=GbTg… If you watched the movie that went with that clip you may actually like this place. Burgers are not hard to find, seemingly not hard to make, and relatively inexpensive to sell. So why is it that it cost me almost 13 dollars to have a hamburger, fries/onion rings, and a drink? four possibilities: 1. the meat comes from a herd of golden cows shipped in from Tibet after being blessed by the Dalai Lama himself. 2. the fries come from a potato field in Ireland that was fiercely guarded by Leprechauns. 3. Arnold Palmer himself comes in every morning and makes the Iced tea and hooks up the minute maid lemonade so that I could make my drink. 4. There may actually be silver dust embedded in the tables like with those Infiniti cars. Well until I'm told otherwise I'm going to say none of that is true. I've been here twice. tried the lone star burger, bacon, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, and onion rings. The second time I had the Bourbon street burger, grilled onions, hot peppers, and spicy Cholula mayo. Sounds spicy. Actual ingredients grilled onions, banana peppers, red bell peppers and mayo. not spicy and a mess. Picture picking up a sloppy joe without the bun and thats how I felt. The onion rings were crispy, salty, crunchy good. I had no trouble with the service. They have a great outdoor space and open sliding glass doors for fresh-air throughout. A nice bar with an actual bar-tender. It was nice to sit and have a good breeze to blow on my face and keep me from falling into a grease coma.

OK is a good description of this place. The food tastes good but we can't understand how the bill for this small family of three was almost $40! We ordered three burgers, fries, and drinks! We couldn't tell the difference in taste/quality compared to burger joints with a lower price-tag. I think people eat here more for the atmosphere than the food. It would be an ideal teen/college date night location with the movies across the street.

The Portabella burger is great. The "skin" on the mushroom is a little tough, but the marinade is awesome. The cost is a little high for a burger, but I definitely don't mind splurging now and then for a good Portabella. The fries are good, with toppings, but the up charge is ridiculous.

I had the "Lone Star" Burger. It had Tillamook cheese on it - I know that people out here in Ohio don't really know too much about that, but I grew up on Tillamook Cheese and I Loooooovvvveeee it. The burger was perfectly done, not overly drippy, and I got my choice of a bun. The onion strings were kinda greasy, and the garlic fries were just ok, but the cheerful, helpful service made up for that. I would totally come back here!

I think EO burgers are for people who can really differentiate the taste of good meat. This company reminds me of the real fresh good meat that I used to get in Texas. The burgers are excellent, and it is accordingly more expensive than others (say, McDonalds.) The fries and custards are just ok.

Good but overpriced. It cost $25 for a kid's meal, two burgers, one large fry, and two cups of water. The burgers were very good - not angus, but good. The fries were decent - Five Guys fries are much better. The food took forever to come out even though there was no line when we came in. The large fry was HUGE. Too much for two people to share. The kids meal was large - two sliders and a TON of fries. The kids meal would have been enough for me, but it's only for 12 and under. So we had a mound of fries leftover, and wasting food does not make me happy. Could have spent less if I had known upfront... Their name may be extraordinary but not sure I would go so far to say anything else was. May give it one more chance and revise my review later.

Ordinary, at best. Just nothing special, I'd take 5 Guys over them any day.

Tasty food, slightly overpriced.

The burgers weren't terrible, but the quality definitely did not match the price. The burgers were a bit dry and seemed a little overcooked. The only thing this place has over Five Guys is that you can get a beer with your burger, but I would just assume to go to a bar to get an equal or better burger.

The food has been excellent, but my latest experience at EO has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. During a busy Saturday evening, I expected them to be busy and this was the case. What was unexpected was how inefficiently the front of house operation was conducted. With only two registers to place orders, the lines are long. When one of the registers is closed and reopened intermittently, chaos rapidly emerged. When the 2nd register is reopened, a group would jump line to it. When it would be reclosed, the customers in that line would complain about losing their place in line and would be sent to the front of the other line by staff. I stood in line for over 20 minutes while only advancing in line from 4th to 2nd. When the 2nd register was closed again and people who had entered the restaurant after I had already been in line for almost 15 minutes were inserted in line in front of me, I had enough. The reply of management was that they "don't jump people ahead in line". I beg to differ, you need to find a more respectful way to treat your customers during the busy times.

I wasn't all that impressed with this place. It has an odd combination of self-service with waiters. The area to get your own drink is really small and it is right by the ordering area so there was always a "traffic jam." They had a couple different sauces that you could add to your sandwich, but only one had anything in it...they others were empty. The burger was okay, the fries were good, but you don't get very many. I will go to Five Guys instead.

This has become one of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat. The atmosphere is relaxing. You can either order from the front counter and grab a table (the servers bring out your food) or the best place to sit is at the bar. Bar is full service, don't have to wait in line to order and the bartenders are great. The burgers are moist and tasty and the fries are nice and crisp. But the onion rings are to die for.... Cant' wait for the outside dining- it will make for great people watching

Came here with high expectations, seems like there's a rash of these non-fast food burger restaurants being built in the Dayton area, 5 guys was great but atmosphere was chaotic, EO seemed like it might have what we wanted. First impression was good, nice seating, clean overall, and friendly cashier. I ordered the Kobe burger my wife had the santa barbara (with guacamole) and we had the Parmesan fries, sounded great! We were prompted to tip as we paid (up front), when they brought our food out the "waitress" asked if we needed anything else and we requested salt (none on any tables) and more napkins, she informed us that we had to go back up front and get them (wondering what my tip was for at this point). The fries looked as if they were undercooked, very soggy and not crisp, not good at all. My buger was topped with what looked like the butt of the lettuce, a really pathetic tomato, and the beef was really pretty small (for a $10 burger), the meat was overcooked and dry, lacking flavor in my opinion. My wife felt the same way about her burger, she said the guacamole didn't taste fresh and the burger was bland (she actually said she would have preferred Wendy's believe it or not!). This sounds like I'm just slamming them, but we've had some great burgers (Thurmans in Columbus, Pine club burgers, etc) and honestly this place was way overrated. I patiently waited as the manager (later identified as Glen) made his way to our table and asked how everything was, I was honest with him and he seemed a little shocked, he apologized and that was about it, I would have been happy with my money back but was not offered and was not going to ask. As for the fries, Glen said that they were supposed to be a little soggy as that was a part of their "flavor profile", really? If the flavor profile they were going for was bland, soggy, and average, they hit the nail on the head. We will not return to EO burger, they should change the name to just O burgers because extra ordinary they were not. Hopefully I can save the next person a wasted trip.
