I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express a couple of times while in the area for business and I have not been disappointed. The service is good and the rooms are cleaned daily. They provide free wifi and cable tv. Also, they put out a pretty good breakfast spread; certainly a lot better than other hotels where I have stayed. FYI, they provide business discounts which is really a great perk for small businesses!

I did not expect such an updated hotel in the small town of Ashland. Furnishings are dark, muted and contemporary --nearly Hilton-esque. Free wifi, decent breakfast with pancakes, eggs, sausage, bagels/english muffins, cereal and juices. Downside: they're keeping the lobby a tropical 80+ degrees -- not great in humid Ohio summers, which makes it more, well, fragrant. All in all a nice surprise.

I've stayed here on several occasions, different times. Every time has been terrific! The service is friendly. Checkin in quick and easy. The pool is clean and well kept. The room have been extremely clean, smell nice, and I've never been horrified by anything. This hotel is nicely updated. It tends to cater to business folks so it generally is quiet and not many noisy kids and commotion. The breakfast is pretty darn good for free. Hot eggs, bacon, biscuits. They also have yogurts, cereal, milk, and breakfast breads. They also have an amazing pancakes machine that pops out fresh cakes - my mind was blown by that! I'd highly recommend this location! The showers are the best!

Stayed here while in town for a business meeting and our company Christmas party. The rooms were clean, large and very comfortable. The bed was really comfortable and the assortment of pillows was nice, too. Breakfast is offered every morning and was really pretty good. All the regular continental offerings, along with some warm options like eggs, some kind of breakfast meat, biscuits and gravy, make-your-own pancakes, and warm cinnamon rolls. My only complaint was the volume of the heater. So loud. And there were no temperature controls in my room. Just a knob, so you only options were on and off and low and high. I ended up sleeping with the heat off because it was so loud all the time! Luckily the heater worked well enough that when I woke up and turned it back on in the morning, the room was warm when I got out of the shower.

Stopped here for the night on a drive from Columbus to Akron in blizzard like conditions. Nothing to complain about here! Fast check in, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, fast WiFi, an indoor pool, workout center, continental breakfast...All you would expect from a 2.5 star hotel! The only complaint would be the lack of parking in front of the hotel, which also happens to be the only accessible entrance into the hotel. Not sure if the mounds of snow took up some spaces that would normally be open, but we had trouble finding parking anywhere on the front side of the building. I guess you could always unload bags while under the car port! But other than that, I got what I hoped for out of this hotel!

Wasn't a bad experience. Seemed clean, the room was decent. The staff was a bit unprofessional and lacked friendliness but its a holiday inn express so I had low expectations to begin with. And the breakfast was gross.

Holiday in Express Hotels are always nice. This one is no exception. Check-in's are always efficient and the staff are always nice and helpful. This particular hotel doesn't have a lot in the way of dining. There is a fair variety of fast food nearby and it is down road from Goasis, the most magical truck stop ever. I always sleep through the night at a HIE because the mattresses are so firm and come with two different types of pillows. Most other hotels have lumpy old beds, but not these bad babies. The hot breakfast includes cinnamon rolls and the soap, lotion, and shampoo you get in the room is designed to match the smell of the these cinnamon rolls. How awesome is that? There are no refrigerators or microwaves in room, so be prepared to make a ghetto cooler (ice in the sink) if you have any drinks. Although the TV's are new flat screens there is no channel listing anywhere which is a small annoyance. Otherwise this is like any other HIE. Comfy, nice, and pretty.

Internet is unbelievably slow. There is nothing more annoying then spending a night in a hotel room with terrible internet service. Unless of course, you have to spend two nights there.
