Here's the thing about this place. In the middle of nowhere, on main street USA in Archbold, OH. My sister had this great idea that we all (20 of us) go to Sauder Village in Archbold. The kids loved Sauder and it was clean and nice. Upon exit, we missed the window of the early breakfast (which honestly? kind of sucked anyway). Enter Carol Ann's City Cafe. We showed up with kids and old people in tow, at 10:45 am to eat breakfast. They stop serving breakfast about 10 I think. Anyway, instead of turning us away, Carol Ann and her team put us in the banquet room and provided not only a good meal, but smiles, patience, and service. Go just because of this story. Patronize the locals. And, there's a great little park around the corner to walk around in after breakfast. Note: if you have 5 year old nephews, don't put them on the tire swing after breakfast, unless you want a call 30 minutes later that they threw up in the car.
