We went to eat there for dinner and our waitress informed us that the menu is about to change do to a new chef.I had one of their specials pork chops with a bourbon sauce with bourbon flavored mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. It was excellent.

We have been here 4 or 5 times now. The service is mind numbingly slow. Drink orders taken and brought out one at a time for a large group. Dinners brought out one at a time 10 minutes apart, and incorrect. Problem is that the food is way way too good. I don't know how many more times we can settle for service that by all rights should put them out of business. It's almost like no one there has ever worked in the food industry. Maybe they only have one cook or something. Every time we have been we say "this is the last time" but the food brings us back. It's a catch 22.

Popped in for lunch on a snowy Saturday. It was pretty quiet so we sat in the bar. Our server was a gem and took excellent care of us. Had the chicken & sausage gumbo and a chicken salad sandwich, both of which were good. The gumbo was perfect on a cold day, had just enough kick to warm me up. The chicken salad was good and was made better by the crisply toasted crescent role it was served on. Lunch made a good impression... We will definitely be back for dinner soon.

Wow, the cabbage roll soup is amazing! For entrees I had the 6oz filet, cooked perfectly, medium, with the garlic mashed potatoes. My husband had the halibut with risotto. He said everything was prepared and seasoned perfectly. Our (adult ) son had prime bone in strip steak. He said there was no question the cut was the highest quality. For dessert we had the apple pie creme brule and cheese cake sampler. We WILL be back!

My friend and I were eager to try out Wise Guys after being regular customers of Nick Anthe's for years. Frankly, I'm not sure why the new restaurant, purporting to be fine dining, named itself Wise Guys. As for being a fine dining spot, I'll say "yes" to the food but "no" to the service. We had a sautéed calamari appetizer, which was well prepared. My friend enjoyed the seared scallops as his entree, and I had a rib-eye steak, which was quite good. The tiramisu dessert we had was excellent. But... There were no silverware or napkins in our booth when we were seated. When the server finally brought our bread, there were no bread plates. When the appetizer was served, we had to ask for the silverware and napkins. The salad that came with the dinner was served before we were done with our appetizers. When the entrée came, we had already used the two forks that came with the silverware (for the appetizer and salad), and the server didn't notice we were lacking that utensil, so we asked "what are we missing?" We had to tell her the answer. Not good. The server was pleasant and well-intentioned, just inexperienced. We'll probably return, just for the sake of the good food there. If this restaurant wants to establish itself as fine dining, it needs to train its servers much better.

Third time here. Good selection of spirits and beers as well as wine. First time I had a 6oz filet, broccoli and a caprese salad. Everything was dead on. Second time, halibut with broccoli and oysters on the half shell. Everything was great. Only minor negative was the hogwash had almost no herbs. Third time my friend and I had oysters, tuna tataki, fruite dimare(sp), caprese salad and lobster bisque. Bisque was pretty salty which I've had happen at many other places. Tuna tataki wasn't bad. I would get rid of the cashew crust and somehow drizzle the sauce on the cucumbers on it. Friend said the fruite sauce wasn't great but the pasta and seafood was good. Overall I'd go back. Owner and staff were nice. Cooks seem to know what's going on. Good experience for a newly opened establishment.

I was very impressed with the food quality and the staff. One of the best dirty dry martinis I've had in a while. Highly recommened!

The best Scallops ever!!! Atmosphere is very nice and calming. Been there at least 5 times and have never been dissatisfied.

Steaks unevenly cooked and definitely not prime or properly seasoned. The kitchen was very slow especially for only 3 tables seated. The waitress was pleasant and I cannot blame her for the kitchen performance. I will blame her for over charging on a few of the dishes. I have worked in the restaurant industry before and I really do not like to give negative reviews to a restaurant but this one thoroughly earned theirs. Take the extra time and make a reservation for Ken Stewart's Lodge, Ken Stewart's main location, or the Diamond Grill.

Love sitting on the lounge side of the restaurant. Lisa the bartender is amazing and she makes great drinks. The food has been consistently very good. This is our third time dining here and I've had the filet every time and it cuts like butter! The wines are priced insanely low so this is a definite plus as well. This is going to be a regular dinner spot for us. I highly recommend Wise Guys.

Very good. Almost 5 star. I was surprised at how slow the restaurant was on a Saturday night. There were very few people there. Missed the mark on steaks. Still very good, but not 5 star. Very friendly staff!
