Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Had a wonderful visit. Don't know what these other reviewers are talking about or what they expected. It is a chain restaurant. The service was wonderful. The food was excellent. We were a party of two and had the wonderful salad bowl for one and the dumpling soup for the other. The bread sticks where good but a little salty. We tried the appetizer combo with calamari, zucchini and stuffed mushrooms. It was wonderful and plenty for two. The entrees we had were the tour of Italy with chicken parmigiana, fettuccini and the tortellini. The other entree was the chicken with shrimp. The portions were large. The server was attentive. They have this interactive device on the table to call the server, order drinks, food, etc. The one put off it they try to sell this game app for $1.99 that is not needed. Service: 5 stars Food: 4 stars Value: 4 stars

Got the 12.99 but 1 take 1. Got the ravioli.. It was good. But the waiter brought our get 1 when he bought our food. Guess he wanted us to hurry up an leave. Kind of strange.?never had that happen before. Guess if you get the special they want you to leave quickly.

Seems to be quite a few nice people here working. Salad portion was low not even enough for two people to have half a plate. We had three guests sitting at the table. Our server seemed like a good listener just not very responsive. Complaints: after coming in for a meal together after moving all day we were ready to eat. He only allowed us to other drinks and appetizers but we were ready to order upon arrival. He kept reaching over us without saying excuse me. He didn't really have a personality. Our bill was about 60 bucks and it was probably one of the weaker servers we have ever had dining across the country. He seemed agitated and annoyed. Not sure if he didn't want another table, had a long day or just was not a fan of Families. We still left 10.00 for the tip in cash but we will never come back. My parents live in Fairlawn and never go out to eat so when we do we like to feel good spending money. The meal was mediocre but it is olive garden. He did replenish our water and salad and warned us of the hot plate. Overall 4/10 service. Not worth the money.

Soup is great! Dessert is great. Pasta and lasagna are disaster. Be careful what you order.

Awful visit at this location. Our waitress was great but the food was so mediocre. My wine glass was just so foggy and covered in water marks. It was gross. Silverware had food on it. Breadsticks were inedibly hard. Dropped it on the table and it sounded like a rock hitting the table. Husbands trio was not the portions they used to serve. Sad really for the price. In the picture is the clean wine glass I requested.

I like and always have liked Olive Garden...consistent..good food. Service was great and our waitress was awesome. My cuzo got a calzone and I got chicken parm and soup.....cant go wrong with that! Its always nice to go to a place and get something (especially if its a fave) and its always how you remember and always good. Thank you Olive Garden for you awesomeness and endless soup, salad, and breadsticks!

Went for dinner Thursday night at 7 PM. Ordered Sausage and Peppers Rustica and the peppers and onions were uncooked and crunchy. I felt that these should be sauteed and tender given the "Rustica" name. Service was professional and friendly. I mentioned my issue to the server and they were very kind and apologetic. They offered to recook my food, but I chose not to have redone.

This was a very nice place to visit and will visit this one if we are in area again! Very neat and clean with fast and friendly service. We arrived at lunch and didn't even have to wait for a seat, although the place did fill up quickly. The waiter was very attentive and patient as my husband and kids took their time to order. He explained the day's specials and was quick with our drinks. Always had them topped off! I can't complain about this place and loved every minute of it!

You've all been to an Olive Garden - you all know what the food is like... so yeah I'm going to gloss over all that and get down to brass tacks. You've never been to an Olive Garden until you've been to one with Mike Carlson. He really knows how to treat a woman well, knows exactly what she wants when he orders for her from the Olive Garden menu, can dish out an appropriate amount of salad and chooses just the right breadstick from the basket for her. I especially enjoyed sharing an Italian soda with him - I believe it was the orange kind but I wasn't paying much attention to the flavor cause I was too busy staring into his soulful doe-like dreamy brown eyes through his slightly smudged glasses. Another pleasant surprise to the night was when he guessed my age as 23 ... no honey - I'm 30 but thanks for making my night... in more ways than one. **wink**

We have two location choices when we want to eat at Olive Garden. We usually pick the Montrose (West Market St.) location because we like the food and service there (here) better. Today was no different. We arrived 20 minutes before 4pm but still had to wait approximately 20 minutes to be seated. I believe we were in the midst of a shift change because we saw many uniformed people go in an out as we were waiting. Our server, Kathie, was very attentive and friendly. Our food arrived quickly and it tasted good. I ordered my favorite, Chianti Braised Short Ribs, and my spouse had the Never Ending Pasta Bowl (with Linguine and Pizzaola Sauce). We were both happy with our entrees. This dining experience was very pleasant and we were happy.

I don't know if it's just this chain that has gone downhill, or my hometown OG was just particularly impressive. I have visited three or four Olive Gardens west of the Allegheny but have not found what I am seeking: unlimited crisp, cold salad w/ tangy dressing, warm breadsticks and a delicious lick-your-plate entree. Here, it took a long time to get the salad (other tables seated after us had their appetizers & salads before we did) and then the entrees came out right away. It was decent - salad was not particularly crisp but the dressing was good. Breadsticks were warm but I miss the actual bread basket and not the plastic sleeve that just seems to cheapen it a bit. Entree was OK but the sauce was already starting to separate which is weird because it literally came out right after the salad. Server was friendly but rushed....I'd rather go somewhere they are willng to take their time and do a good job.

This meets the franchise's requirements and then some. Sometimes good to go with what you know...you cant lose here.
