Gionino's is without a doubt one of the best pizza places around. They are more expensive then most but completely worth it. Very heavy on the cheese and grease. If you don't like greasy pizza go elsewhere.

Food is great service could be 1 million times better I ordered a chicken sub and asked to have extra sauce on it and when he got here after a hour and a half wait the sub literally has no sauce

The food here is fantastic. I am only rating on the food. The food is usually always good. However they are a busy place and sometimes the food is thrown together pretty quickly. The service is horrible. If you are ordering delivery then expect to wait at least an hour. The people who are taking your order are never friendly, and if you have a problem with you food (too cold, not what u ordered ect..) Don't expect them to care. We had a pizza that we waited over an hour for and it was cold like it sat out the whole hour. When I called about it they said my next order was free (of the same value of course). When I tried to redeem it the man on the phone said I must be lying because there is nothing that has my name that says it free... So food is good but I would pick it up if I was to order again that way its not as long a wait and the food will be hot. Not sure I want to deal with someone who called me a liar though...

I have lived in Akron all my life and to me this is the undisputedly best pizza I've ever had. They have a great selection of specialty pizzas and toppings to choose from and a great taste to back it up. Fiesta Pizza is the only other place that I have tried that is in the same league as Gionino's. And I believe both places surpass other well known Akron-area pizza parlors such as Luigi's. Note: Sheet pizzas must be ordered 24hrs in advance.

Alway great food. I'd rather spend a few bucks extra for a good quality pizza. This family is not a $19 pizza family. That stuff tastes like garbage. This shop has been around for 13 years! Gotta try the honey mustard wings well done w extra sauce!! So good!
