They won't be winning any Michelin stars, but they do cheap Chinese fast food the best in the area. I don't really recommend it for a sit down dinner, but takeout is super fast and the food is really good for the price. Oh, and all those hygiene complaints... they give the place character haha. I'm doing just fine after eating their food several times.

Inexpensive, excellent Chinese food. I rarely give 5 stars, but this is the go-to place for Chinese in west Akron. If someone can find better food for the price, let me know. There's great "fine dining" Chinese in west Akron to take your guests and loved ones. A Wok is the perfect place to call on the way home after a long day and pick up excellent Chinese food for family night. The service is super courteous and kind. A gem.

I go to school not too far away from this place and I like to go there like every other weekend. I went there is past Saturday and ordered their peppered steak. It was good but was somewhat under seasoned. Their lunch combos come with soup instead of an egg roll. And for that reason I find them to have the BEST egg drop soup ever. I can eat that for breakfast, lunch and dinner its that good.

Essentially a take out place. Good food reasonable prices. They put Chinese 5 spice seasoning in the egg rolls. Genius!!! My only caution is don't order anything with shrimp in it if you are taking away. They must start out somewhat overcooked, because we live ten minutes away and the shrimp is unilaterally mush when we get it home. They also occassionally allow individuals who really don't speak English well enough to man the phone to take orders. I have had some very interesting meals that I most certainly didn't think I ordered. If you happen to get one of these individuals just hang up show up in person and wait ten minutes for it to be cooked. You can just point at the number on their menu and it eliminates frustration on both ends. One could call and complain, but if they can't get the order right, to what avail?

Food is cheap but very salty. But no other chinese food around the area to compete. The kitchen looks really messy too. My coworker told me a story where the cook's sweat dripped into the hot and sour soup. No wonder its so salt. Not going there again.

We discovered A Wok after our favorite Chinese restaurant closed last year. The prices are very reasonable and the food is very good. I have to admit that the Chicken Chow Mai Fun is the best I have ever had. I would not eat in the restaurant because of the size but for takeout its great.

This is a mainstay on the Chinese Express places itinerary. It's all about the flavor and A-Wok are masters at what they do. Nothing bland on this menu. Hardly "standard" Chinese.
