They have great food. They know your address when you call and they are really fast. The personal pizza are the best and they will pretty much make whatever you want. On a side note to the chick who gave one star for the gluten free pizza do yourself a favor and don't eat pizza, go shop at trader joes or something. If you want good Italian then this is the place.

Came in to Rocco's tonight with the family, this was our second time here. The first time was great! We sat in the back (the restaurant area) and experienced great service and good food at reasonable prices. However tonight was the exact opposite. We sat in the same area as last time and waited quite some time before the waitress came up. Me and the lady ordered an appetizer and two entrees. From the time of the order to the appetizer hitting the table... 20 minutes. From the appetizer to the main entree 45 minutes. There was only 4 other tables and they seemed to be experiencing the same slow service. Finally the food came out and it was not the same as our first visit, watery sauce and undercooked pasta. The waitress never touched any of the tables after bringing the food. I had to be the designated voice of all the other tables when we all got fed up in unison. When she finally arrived I asked for the check, she apologized for the poor service and gave every excuse in the book other than herself for why it sucked. In my opinion nothing she could have said would have justified the shitty service with only 3 other tables. Rocco's it may be time to just stick to the Pizzeria, if your not going to have a manager to oversee the restaurant operations you are going to fail. On a side note, Bring a jacket every time the front door opens the temp inside the dining room drops 25 degrees. I would have had better service from the Domino's across the street!

Love them!!! I think they make the best pizza around! They also do a great special with some 1/2 tray choices monday-Thursday you can feed your family a real dinner for the price of 3 people eating at Mcdonalds. Everything I have eaten here I enjoyed and they are super friendly too!

We always order from them. I love their pizzettes, delicious and super fresh ingredients. They also made me tortellini soup and it wasn't on the menu. Great hometown place.

I am not from Long Island, but was here visiting for a couple weeks with my husband while he worked on his new album out of a studio in the area. The studio has a runner to pick up all the food orders, coffee, etc. And we ordered out from Rocco's almost every single night. This place has such great pizza! That is one thing you New Yorker's do right, PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA! Well, I have absolutely no complaints about this place. The pizza is some of the best I have ever had. I had baked stuffed shells one night, and baked ravioli another, also really good. We love the craisin salad, lots of yummy goat cheese, and an incredible raspberry dressing that is perfect for dipping your bread in (really good bread, too!) I also love their house salad. It's packed full of fresh veggies, and is served with the most wonderfully delicious balsamic dressing I have ever, ever had. It's so lovely, it looks like milk chocolate syrup. It tastes divine. The toasted ravioli appetizer is delicious, too. Oh, and the chicken francese! Everything here is amazing!!

Good dishes, great pizza for reasonable prices. Garlic knots are a bit too light on the garlic for me.

If you're looking for gluten-free pizza, skip this place and keep on driving. An insane $18 for a small, personal-sized, ONE topping pizza. And it wasn't even good. Next!

I've only eaten specialty slices here and never been disappointed. The dough, slices and ingredients always seem fresh. They have some very typical specialty slices, but also some pretty creative ones. Service is good and the place is clean.

the grilled chicken and broccoli rabe are to die for. even though its a healthy food the seasoning was perfect, chicken was tender and broccoli rabe wasn't undercooked like a lot of other places tend to do. we often have pizza there, im glas we had a sit down meal!

I have visited here several times for dinner as I work nearby and if I'm on a break and need a quick bite to eat, it's a fast, convenient, and good quality place to go. When it first opened I did not hear such great things about it but once I tried it I didn't agree with what I heard at all. I LOVE that they give you the option of making your pizza whole wheat as not all places do that around here. Their crust is not thick and doughy especially on their whole wheat grandma slice which has a thin, crispy crust and the sauce and cheese do not ooze over like some grandma slices do. Their buffalo chicken slice is a bit heavy and could be lightened up a bit in both weight and flavor. My favorite slice of pizza is their alla vodka slice which uses vodka sauce in place of the traditional marinara sauce which gives it a smooth and creamy flavor that is delightful. Additionally, I have also ordered a personal size whole wheat salad pizza which is enough for 2 people as they provide plenty of salad. The dressing that accompanies with it is their version of creamy balsamic which is quite tasty. The place is usually never that packed as it's in a quieter shopping center but if you do stumble upon this place I'd highly recommend it!

Went to Roccos for lunch yesterday with the girlfriend. Sat in the Dining room. it was 90 degrees outside and there was no AC in the dining room, one solitary spinning fan which made it bearable but not comfortable. The dining room is strange, it's almost like it's an island of disinterested high school kids, no management or organization to be seen. The booth directly behind us appeared to have kitchen staff lounging. We ordered House salad and cheese calzone for her, Craisin salad and slice of white pizza for me. My girlfriend was pleased with her's. house salad was a decent side, she liked the house vinagrette. Calzone was the fried kind, decent size for the price. The problem was with my meal. I added chicken to the craisin salad, and I could immediately tell that the chicken was cooked long ago, it had a dry, grayish look to it. It hadn't gone bad, and was edible, but not what I had hoped for. The white slice had definitely been sitting around. There were difference sauces on the edges of the slice, it appears almost dirty. It was not visually appealing and taste-wise was lacking, especially when compared to Colosseo, Brancinellis or Renzos. I hate to say it, but I enjoyed the pizza there more when it was Paradiso. You only get one chance as an Italian eatery on Long Island to make an impression. Rocco's fell short, unfortunately. And for the love of all that is Holy, please stop playing that hackneyed "moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie" type music. A million italian restaurants have played that. No one enjoys listening to it, it adds nothing to the establishment.

Hold up, wait a minute. I was already fabricating this review in my head as I was enjoying my slice of pizza. Ok, I may have even had two slices. I usually like to visit a place a few times in order to write a fair review, but sometimes you JUST KNOW. This is one of those times. Some of the things I still miss when I moved to Long Island from Bayside, Queens a few years ago -- great, highly seasoned and garlicky Americanized Chinese food and wonderful pizza. I know everyone has a different idea of what great pizza is, but here's my criteria: Thin crust, sauce that isn't bitter or that tastes like the jar (or can) it most likely came from, and a good sauce:cheese ratio -- I don't like over cheesed pizza globbed with sauce. Sure I've found good places out here -- places that are popular and lots of people recommend, but I haven't found "THE ONE". Well today I found what I consider a slice of heaven at Rocco's. I ordered an 18" Neapolitan pie for delivery. The delivery guy was very pleasant and he even closed the gate after himself when he entered and also after he left -- way to go delivery guy! I have 2 dogs that are little escape artists so if that gate is left open they can bolt and that's obviously not a good thing. I am looking forward to trying other things on their menu. I actually wanted to order a grandma pie, but I couldn't see spending $21.95, that seemed like a bit much. Now that I know I like their regular pies I might splurge for a grandma next time.

Been here many times, strictly for take-out. Pizza is decent about mediocre for this area. The staple Italian dishes (chicken parm, eggplant, penne vodka, etc.) is definitely above average for the prices and portions. Do like their sauces better than a lot of places. The family special for $36 take out is a pretty solid deal with enough food for 4 or 5 and tasty.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
