I've come here twice in two weeks. I work across the street in the WFC complex and this is a nice place to take somebody out to lunch that is reasonably priced but better than any of the fast food choices in that general area. I have a lot of food allergies so I'm limited in the kinds of things I can eat. Both times I came here I had the grilled chicken and sauteed vegetables. It was good both times. The chicken is juicy and well cooked. The first time I came here for lunch my friend ordered the saltimbocca - he liked it. The following week I came here with another friend for lunch and he ordered the penne vodka and he liked that as well (the portion looked small to me but he didn't complain or say anything about it. maybe it's a lunch sized portion). Anyway, I would come back here again.

I go here all the time before catching a movie next door and the pizza and pasta dishes/appetizers are always really good, servers are friendly, cold beer on tap & good wine selection, generous portions, prices are very reasonable for the area. If your in the area it's worth trying!

Strangest delivery experience EVER. We were with some neighbors who ordered a pizza from Harry's. They told us they order here regularly. They were giving Harry's a second chance, because people are human and mistakes happen. Apparently, the night before - the order arrived incorrect (despite the fact that they order the same thing most of the time). They called to tell them that they had received a totally different pizza and were told by phone that a replacement pizza was coming and to keep the incorrect pizza. The replacement pizza never arrived and our friend waited a long time and finally just ate the other pizza. When they spoke to Harry's again that night, they were told their order was refunded. We were with them when they called the following evening having received the wrong order AGAIN. They were told the replacement pizza was coming. We waited a long time and then started to eat the wrong pizza, even though it was cold, because at this point we were getting very hungry. An hour after the call, the delivery guy DID arrive with the corrected order. We had tip money we had gathered up for him as he came to the door even though the mistake was no fault of ours. The delivery man asked for the original pizza BACK at which point we told him that we had started to eat it. Without hesitation, he said that he could not leave the corrected order and walked away - we asked him to come back and he didn't. WE WAITED AN EXTRA HOUR for the CORRECTED order and he didn't even wait for us to call to see what was wrong or what happened, because we WANTED the right pizza - we simply followed the same protocol as the night before. When we did call Harry's back, Bill, who had been helping us by phone offered to correct the problem yet again. Unfortunately, that was the last straw for our friends and no offer of correcting the problem could make it right at this point. Who can blame them? A pizza order should be fairly simple, ESPECIALLY for regular customers. It was really such a WEIRD experience for a business with a regular high tipping customer - we were very surprised and in effect they lost TWO customers and our other friends and neighbors that we will be sharing our experience with.

Pretty decent. So, I go here all the time, even though I don't love it. There are seriously limited options in the area though. The pizza is pretty good - nice and hot and fresh. The salads are decent. And, the do a good job of giving you lots of bread as you pick your meal, which is nice. The atmosphere is good - the seating area is L shaped to make it feel slightly smaller. They have these high top tables, perhaps to make it appealing for happy hour (?!) I'm not sure though, they are annoying for lunch. The wait can be annoying, but there are not many other options, so that's understandable. Service - slightly unpredictable, but fine. I've had them get a pizza wrong before, but we just ended up with 2 which worked for us!

Meh. I went here as part of a team lunch and got to sample most of the appetizers on the menu, the pizza and the chicken arabita. The pizza was the best part of the meal -- the crust was very thin and they offer a large assortment of toppings. The full size is enough for 2 to share. The appetizers were pretty standard, there wasn't anything wrong with them but if I'm going to break my diet and order fried food they need to be outstanding. My chicken dish was strangely spicy, the artichokes on it seemed like they came out of can. The servers did a good job at handling our large party.

I was there around 1am to get desert, and the bartender was only helping the customers for drinks. I waited there gor good 15mins and still did not recived my order. I was super annoyed so I decided to leave. When I told him I want to leave then he tells me its only gonna take two minutes. Horrible service!!!

3.5 STARS This latest offspring of Harry's is located in the breezeway between Murray and Vesey Streets in Battery Park City. It's sandwiched between the Shake Shack and Regal Cinema. Perhaps owing to the location, this is a much noisier and trendier version of their Gold Street location. They don't have their liquor license yet, but they're cool with you getting your wine from across the way and don't even charge a corkage fee! Maybe because they're working out the kinks of opening, but service was a little lax. The bread they served was a little stale and they have a pared down version of the menu at this location. However, the quality of the entree was good.

The pizza is pretty good and fresh. It reminds me of Adrienne's or Inatesso, both high-end pizza places in the area, and perhaps the same owners? I also liked the fried calamari. Our server, however, was very aloof and fairly rude. Oh and FYI, the bar area serves free pizza to patrons buying drinks. Good to know. Noted for the future. The bar area is quite pleasant, with finance-types, of course. This is Goldman territory, people.

Great service here-- staff were super friendly. Very neighborhood pizza-place feel. Pastas are fine, and the pizzas look good too. However, I wouldn't recommend getting the baked clams here.

Review is based purely on the Hangover pie (white square pizza with pepperoni, fries and hot sauce), which you can only get at night on the late-night menu. All other pizzas very average, regular Italian food is below average. Again, 4 stars purely goes to the hangover pie - absolutely amazing pizza

The pizza is good, delivery is bad. Go in for best service. DON'T order the tiramisu. It's a poor excuse for one at only ONE layer of lady fingers. Maybe the owner should google images of tiramisu and realize his is entirely wrong.

Excellent food and service!! I enjoyed the dinner from start to finish. The garlic bread was perfect. For a healthy choice I recommend their mixed green salad with blue cheese. We ordered several dishes to share and all were great. Let's get one other thing out of the way: the pizza is delicious. However, my personal favorite was the Chicken Marsala. Best homemade cannoli crust and filling! Great atmosphere and highly recommended.

Food was pretty good. Service was horrible and when we let the waitress know, she couldn't do anything to change our experience. Usually they would give a certain drink or plate on the house but nothing from them! Rude. Won't be going there anymore!

Been here once. The calamari I had as appetizer was a little chewy, but the pasta I had was ok. Buzy place during noon, but service is fast paced and still friendly. Nice place if you are around to grab a quick bite at lunch or before going to the movies in the same block.

I've been here on two occasions, the first one was for a quick lunch break with some coworkers. I was surprised that we actually got drinks, and food within the tight hour we had. The service was prompt, but not rushed. Our waitress was really helpful with suggestions, and quick! Three of us got the Old Fashion Square, for about $20 bucks you get a ton of food. The pizza was tasty, crunchy and perfectly baked. My only problem was how salty the pepperoni was. Not normal salty, but slightly painfully salty. A few napkin swipes got rid of that, and left me to further nom nom nom away. The second visit was for brunch, it was surprisingly empty for a sunny Sunday Tribeca afternoon. The brunch is cheap, 16.95 with unlimited Blood Mary's or Mimosa's. Challenge accepted, Harry! My gentlemen friend and I guzzled mimosa after mimosa while waiting for our food. Which strangely took a while, for how empty the place was. When the food arrived there were no complaints, mostly drooling and gentle grunts of pleasure. I had the frittata with asparagus and prosciutto, my eggs were so freaking fluffy! Like "Despicable Me" fluffy! Tasty, and perfectly cooked, paired with roasted potatoes. But way to much food, it was kind of a mission to finish it (Failed, def an item to share). Speaking of way to much food, the gentleman got the Eggs in a Saddle. Its fillet Mignon, two eggs and like a loaf of bread, he was in heaven! I can't wait to go back and try the nutella french toast! This place is filled with surprises! Surprisingly cheap for Tribeca, Surprisingly quick (its all snails pace in this 'hood). This place is a must try! Great for brunch, a quick lunch, or even a late night dinner after a movie. I love this place, and you will too!

Great pizza but the service wasn't great. We got into NYC late last night and were staying at the Conrad downtown. There wasn't much open but we found Harry's Italian Pizza luckily and it was open. We walked in and I asked this beautiful girl if they were open because the lights were off on the outside. She just looked at me like dud, don't you see we are open? She sat us and we ordered drinks and a margarita pizza. She never said hello, goodbye, nothing. The pizza was excellent and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I am usually a 20% tipper but I only gave our server 15% due to her lack of interest. If she put a little more effort into her job she could make a lot more money!

I went with some co-workers for a drink at Harry's and it was an okay spot. The wine list ranges from $7-12 and they have a full bar. However, even on a Wednesday night, the bar is PACKED with similar office dwellers and it's hard to find a place to stand/sit, as many tables are already reserved for corporate groups. It can get extremely loud in there. BUT the reason they get 4 stars and not just 3 is that they give FREE PIZZA during happy hour. When exactly is happy hour? I have no idea, but they gave free pizza to everyone and it was very good. They even gave us a second and third pizza without prompting and the group enjoyed it. So... if you can muscle your way in and find a place at the bar, don't miss this delightful bar snack!

This is one of my favorite pizza places in New York, having frequently visited the FiDi restaurant prior to the opening of this location. I know "favorite" is a bold statement in NY, but these pies are awesome. I always get the old fashioned square with various toppings depending on my mood (pepperoni is the favorite). While this location gets quite busy at lunch with the work crowd, there's usually not too long of a wait to get a table. Salads are also good to start with as they come in family size if you're there with a group. Not a bad spot to come at night if you're in the area with a bigger group as they can probably accommodate you. They have other entrees, pastas and sandwich options as well but I tend to stick to the pizza because it's delicious. Quick service and reasonable prices. Definitely one of the better spots in this area.

Harry's Italian Pizza bar is a the fraternal twin of it's namesake on Gold Street. The decor is more sleek and upscale. There are outdoor tables situated for excellent hanging out and people watching. The dining room is handsome. The crowd was all over the map, ranging from tablefulls of suits to families with small children. The service was really good, especially for a newly opened restaurant. The waitresses were very proactive. We started dinner with a thin crusted pepperoni pizza. It was properly scorched and light, with strong fresh basil overtones. The baked clams were OK. We shared a bunch of entrees. The chicken godzilla was my favorite- thin fried breaded chicken topped with salad and mozzarella. Veal arribiata was good and spicy. The orchietta with sausages and broccoli rabe was very good. Coffee was excellent and the desserts were good- cannoli and tiramisu. The prices are moderate. It's more than a by the slice pizza place, but more low key than a formal Italian restaurant. Harry's Italian is a good low key place to go for Italian food. It's a great place to sit outside, order some dishes and watch the world go by.

Disappointed. Pizza was great but we never received the appetizers we order. They were out of decaf then we ordered the cannoli only to be told later that they ran out as well.

I work in the area and this place is conveniently near my job, however the service is not good. They are always really slow and not very nice. I always have to make sure I tell them I need to leave within an hour for them to show any kind of urgency.

here's the thing: there's not a lot of options down here in this food wasteland, and Harry's does the trick and does it well. you can go in for a sit down lunch and get out within the hour. cheap, standard italian fare. nothing to write home about but that's why it's so good. SOLID. STAPLE. pizzas taste like pizza, the pastas taste like pasta. iono, for a work lunch or a casual outing, my standards are not high, and that's why harry's get my vote.

Warning. Do not order take out. I live right down the street from Harry's ordered food 2 1/2 hours ago and still waiting. They keep saying the order is out for delivery. Still waiting......

I love this place. Since my favorite italian place FOCACCERIA closed recently i started having other places besides the pep square pie, which is to die for! They have great food, salads are great.. ! There is sometimes a wait time, but its worth it. I had 1 delivery nightmare, my square pie arrive a mess. It looked like it had been to war and back, it not only was flipped but like twisted? I would have rather heard that the poor delivery guy got hit by a truck and only then would i have understood why this would've happened. When i called back they said they would send me another but it would be an HOUR wait time and i had to give them this one back. Odd? And not to mention annoying! Other than that i love this place. Small, crowded, but its worth the wait, every time.

I generally only write a review when something is amazing or something is so awful that I feel I should advise others to stay away and also hope the owners/managers actually read it and take it to heart. Unfortunately this falls into the latter category. I'm certain their shrimp are frozen. Huge no no to use frozen food EVER. I'm also sure that someone needs to train their staff how to serve guests. Entree and salad mediocre at best. If Blue Smoke hadn't been pretty packed, I would have gone there for sure. Just because options are limited in that area doesn't mean it's alright to serve that to people.

  • M L.

The bread, pizza, and salads are all decent, but the pizza is in my opinion overpriced. The ingredients don't appear to be of special quality and yet a pepperoni old fashioned square is $21.50 when it doesn't taste much different from take-out pepperoni. They also don't allow slices, which makes sense for them since pizzas are custom, but it's still annoying for someone who wants pizza but isn't going in a group and isn't interested in eating a whole pizza by him or herself. However I did really like the old-fashioned white. The cheese was really creamy and satisfying. Hence, a bump up from two to three stars.

Ordered Harry's from Seamless recently and was pleasantly surprised. The gnocchi and salad were great, but the chicken was near inedible. I will not be ordering that again. But for a simple pasta and salad dinner, it's a fantastic option!

This is a chain? Didn't know. From the way the staff was informed about the menu, I would have thought it was a first-night at the mom & pop shop. That said, it has a nice feel and the bread was great. They forgot the meat on my pasta though, and brought the wrong dressing. Pretty disapointing overall, but still ... good bread.

Several delicious restaurants have opened up in recent months in Battery Park, Harry's Italian Pizza bar is not one of them. My husband and I live in the neighborhood and decided to try it out even though we had a sneaking suspicion it wouldn't pan out too well. Our suspicion was well founded. This place is just plain bad--marginal food and terrible service. We had 3 different waiters during our hour long dinner. All 3 were very pleasant. The waitress who sat us took our drink order--2 Peronis-- and an appetizer order of tomatoes and mozzarella and disappeared. About 5 minutes later a 2nd waiter swung by and asked us for our drink order, which we said we had just placed. We waited 15-20 minutes to get our beer. We were less than 15 feet from the bar. Waitress #1 eventually came back and took our food order. The drinks and appetizer were then delivered by the 2nd waiter. We never saw the first waitress again. The beer was good--hard to go wrong with Peroni on tap on a really warm day. The tomatoes were fresh and the mozzarella fine--nothing to write home about--but fine. About 15 minutes after we got our drinks our main courses arrived. We ordered as basic as we could go after looking over the menu. We went with pasta which may have been a big mistake since it is a pizza bar (Although I now remember I had their pizza at the Gold Street location and was unimpressed). My husband got mussels and clams over spaghetti, which came with the high praise from our waitress, "People like it." I got the rigatoni with tomato and basil. How can you mess up a dish like that? Apparently with ease at Harry's. Use cheap pasta prepare it very shy of al dente and top it with watery sauce and overcooked, stringy basil. My husband's dish, seafood linguine, was swimming in the same watery sauce that was in my entree. It came topped with 3 clams and 3 mussels at a price tag of $21.00. He described it as edible. He ate 3-4 bites before suggesting we go to dinner somewhere else. He was sort of kidding, sort of not. By this time the 2nd waiter came by to check in. We were polite and gave the food an unenthusiastic OK. The waiter appeared psyched to hear this and went away. Since it was 95 degrees out we decided to get another drink rather than heading over to our usual cocktail spot. on the water. A 3rd waiter wandered over and took our order. Fifteen minutes later my beer arrived. The whiskey sour my husband ordered never materialized. Finally the 3rd waiter came back and asked if we were done with dinner. I said yes and to cancel the whiskey sour order--which was apparently never placed. When it was all said and done we paid $81.00 for a meal for 2 that was worthy of the Olive Garden. Actually it cost us more because my husband ended up going next door to Shake Shack and getting a hamburger. If you are in Battery Park and looking for great Italian food walk over to Inatteso. On Sunday Nov 11 we went over to give the Battery Park City version a try. We were seated and got menus. Then over 30 minutes went by with our waiter ignoring us and not coming over to take our order. No one even came by to give us water or take a drink order. I was too hungry to wait any longer so we got up and left. The restaurant was less than half full so it's hard to guess why we were so disrespected other than the staff's total incompetence. At least I got a laugh when on the way out the hostess cheerily said "thank you come again!" Completely oblivious to the fact that we just spent 30 minutes sitting at a table with no one making any attempt to serve us food or drink.

Ordered a prosciutto and mozz sandwich and asked our waiter for a side of balsamic vinegar. After informing me that they don't have balsamic (weird, right?) he handed over a shaker of red wine vinegar. Before examining it, I poured it on my sandwich. As I lifted the shaker upright I was shocked to see that the vinegar jar was filled with dead bugs. Think this was my last trip to Harry's....

Great little stop between flicks at the Regal cinema. Good beer and wine selection and fantastic pizza. Momma K had half a red-sauce with mushrooms and I had the other half white with mushrooms and lots of thinly spread ricotta cheese. The pizza was quickly prepared and very tasty. This is the place to go during the TriBeCa film festival if you have a number of films to check out! I will be back to this lovely spot.

The Positive:Chicken Godzilla is killer... the calamari was spectacular! The Negative: Annoying kids outside since its right next to a shake shack and a High School, lots of kids go there and it ruins the atmosphere, and my friend found a bug on his food.

Had a great dinner here tonight.Spent a lovely cool evening here after walking Hudson River park and visiting the Freedom Tower. Had a delish portobello salad to start. Got a nice basket of foccacia bread too. Entrees we tried were penne and meatballs and chicken marsala. Both were outstanding. Excellent sauce and the meatballs were plentiful.Portions are large and you may have enough leftover to bring home. very nice service and I will go back anytime I;m in the area.

Having a brother that lives next to this place can be pretty convenient sometimes. Harry's is our go-to Italian place whenever we are craving it. They have a quick delivery time on seamless and are very consistent with quality. I would definitely recommend in case you are in the area and want some great pizza or pastas.

Visited on a Sunday night. Was seated immediately (there's indoor and outdoor seating). The menu offers a good range of common Italian dishes. I narrowed my choice down to the manicotti, penne vodka, and spaghetti and meatballs (though the seafood linguini looked amazing, and the party beside us ordered a pizza that also looked great). I went with the spaghetti after hearing our waiter's suggestions. The serving sizes were pretty big. My friend and I probably could have split one plate. Neither of us were able to finish our meal, but then again, we did stuff ourselves beforehand with the focaccia and olive oil. I personally would have liked a little more sauce on my pasta, but it was still good. When heating up my leftovers the next day, I mixed in a teaspoon or so of olive oil and it tasted like new.

It's in a great location, next to Regal cinemas and Bloomfield mall. You might jump on the wrong line, since Shake Shack is next door, but look for the lounge-like dimly lit restaurant to your left. I think Harry's is probably good for lunch, but for dinner, it's just okay. This is the place you go to when everywhere else good is completely full and you're starving and your girlfriend is hangry. The food is something you can expect from your local diner, though the portions are huge. With the good options you have at the Bloomfield mall food court, why settle for just okay? Plus, I was pretty grossed out by the filthy bathrooms. Let's just all move on...

Caesar salad is good but huge. The sausage orecchiette had a ton of rabe on top. The sausage was pretty tasty but the pasta was bland and flavorless. The dish was served in a bowl and there were several cups of the liquid, whereas it would have tasted better in a heavier sauce versus watery. Service at the bar for dinner was mediocre.

Our party of about a dozen made a reservation a week in advance -- this place isn't exactly Per Se, so one expects that bookings will be honoured, and settings will be fairly prompt. Unfortunately, we were left waiting for an interminable amount of time while they scrambled to put something together. Food was mediocre and somewhat overpriced. Pastas were simple and slightly overcooked, while appetizers were fairly greasy. Service was spotty, though blessedly not overbearing.

The square thick crust pizza with prosciutto is delicious!! The house white wine wasn't bad at all! And the Foo Fighters playing My Hero overhead made it an awesome atmosphere. Great place to grab drinks and a bite! Open late and right outside the Conrad hotel whose restaurant closed at 11.

Solid thin crust pizza at this location. You cannot go wrong here, but it is just a little pricey. Also, I find the pizzas to be just a bit on the salty side for whatever reason. Not sure if it is the toppings, sauce or whatever. It is not unpleasant, and perhaps attributable just to a personal preference.

Stopped in here for dinner with the Princess before seeing Inside Out at the Regal. We elected to sit inside as I am not a fan of outside dining, always feel the passersby are staring at me eat. The decor is pretty sleek, Ive been to the one on Gold st many times and thats more rustic where this one is more Battery Park chic with all the black and candles. The service was not good, they were friendly but not on point. First off the bread came out well after our app came and since that app was Baked Clams we were left there looking at the delicious cooking liquid and nothing to sop it up with, after it had all congealed the waiter was like "did I give you bread?" I was too nice to say do you see a damn bread basket?? Ok so now on to the food. For an app we had the aforementioned Baked Cams and they were quite good toasty, little bivalves. For mains I had the chicken francese which was good if a bit too buttery and eggy and couldve used a bit more lemon to cut the richness. The chicken breasts were pounded thin and were nicely tender. The Princess had the shrimp oreganatta and she was in love. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, not mushy or mealy, the topping was garlicky and delicious. It came with a nice salad, potatoes, some fried onion strings and potatoes. I think next time I may have to go with this dish as well.

Don't be scared off by the trendy vibe and location on Goldman Sachs Row. I've passed by here multiple times thinking the prices were too exuberant for what it was. Trick is to come with a group and share a few pies and salads. Their crust is chewy and perfectly salted. The best toppings are prosciutto and mushroom. Square pies only! The staff is friendly but service can be slow during peak lunch hour. Comes out to about $15-20 per person for a group of 5.

A pretty longstanding fixture among the bars/restaurants on Vesey St/North End Ave. This was one of the few lunch options before the arrival of Hudson Eats, where you could avoid the exorbitant prices of Wei West and the never-ending lines at Shake Shack. My co-workers and I typically come here for after-work drinks, and while they don't have any real happy hour specials, they do have a decent beer selection and free cheese pizza at the bar which ain't half bad. Just make sure to hover around the bar, so that you can catch the half-hour intervals when they bring out that free pizza to the bar. (Note that it's only available at the bar, and not at the tables in the bar area.) The bartenders also do pour pretty strong well drinks, so you'll never be lacking in the drink department. The crowd is mostly finance bros and the occasional yuppie Battery Park family. You can usually snag one of the tables by the bar if you get there right at 5pm and put your belongings on top to secure your placement. As for the food, it's actually pretty decent and filling. The pizza is good, but they don't sell by the slice, so you have to find someone willing to split with you which usually isn't a problem. I have tried the lasagna here, and it's pretty smashing. The service can be spotty at times when it's busy, but overall, it's hard to pay attention when you're enjoying a drink. Overall, a decent place for drinks if you work in the area, and a serviceable option for a casual, quick, sit-down meal. It's pricier than most bars in Tribeca (which is saying something), but less expensive than El Vez, and more convenient than the pubs near Church Street/West Broadway.

Good Food, Great Beer selection, Fun location, Amazing service. Count me in! My friends threw a birthday party for their 2-year old over the weekend. The staff and management at Harry's let us block off most of their outdoor seating area for the event. Let me start by saying the entire staff could not have been more friendly, helpful, and attentive. They didn't seem to mind a bunch of rambunctious toddlers running around...complete with the mess that can entail. The food was great. The fried calamari was crispy on the outside and the squid was tender. The Caprese salad was fresh and tasty. The pizzas were fantastic. The peperoni was crispy and not the least bit oily. I would definitely recommend Harry's for a quick, casual bite to eat or a night to watch the game at a nice bar.

Waitress here was so attentive. Prices can be a little pricy. 6 of us shared a pitcher of Sam Adams for $21, it provided a glass each. If you want a good deal for your money, order the large square pizza, it's what they're known for and it's very filling. My friend and I shared a pie of pepperoni with 10 slices, tasty and filling. My friends' dishes looked just as great. So everyone was satisfied. P.S. We were also surprised to have a celebrity siting at the restaurant. It was nice to know, no one bothered the celebrity while he was with family.

Excellent pasta and bar selection. Spaghetti & meatballs were devoured by the boys. My shrimp pasta was fabulous. Visited after spending time at the 9/11 memorial and museum. Easy to find.

Awesome informal Italian spot close to World Trade Center - trendy chic outside seating and Cozier trendy inside seating. Been here a few times and service has been attentive/ great. Food has been great and served relatively quickly . We had spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Marsala and my fave this time - bow tie pasta with shrimp and asparagus . Wonderful and third time was a charm. Great for business, friends or solo dining at lunch or mid day .

Came here for Sunday Brunch. I had the broccoli rabe and pepper frittata (excellent) and my husband had the Eggs in a Saddle (excellent). The Unlimited mimosas were a great addition. The servers were more than happy to refill. The pizza looks authentic Italian!! We didn't have any but we watched it being served. Crust looks super thin and all are square pies! I would have given it 5 but it is located in a high traffic area. It's right next to shake shack. But overall, we would 100% come back.

While waiting for our room to be ready at the Conrad, we dined here for lunch. It's directly beneath the hotel, in a shopping corridor with other restaurants, theater, etc. Very basic Italian. It's conveniently located, priced well for the size and casual service. Portions are average. My husband and I shared a pizza and spaghetti. Both good, not spectacular. Nice place to have a drink at the bar or grab a casual meal while in the area. Service was kind.

This pizza is gooooooood....I live in south BPC so not close at ALL. It did take 50 mins. at 7:00 at night. If I want PIPING hot out of the oven pizza I will take my PHAT AZZ over there and get it. So, yeah, it was warm, but not PIPING HOT. That's not physically possible with delivery pizza. So, GUESS what I did? After inhaling 2 pieces I threw another 3 in the oven and voila it was WARMER. Ate the leftovers for lunch today. SO good. I got pepperoni and garlic square. I want to order another one RIGHT NOW

I'm a big fan of the Harry's restaurant family - they have my fiancé's favorite pizza, and they always give the royal treatment to their loyal customers. This spot made no exception. Wonderful experience here with a neighborhood vibe. The service is excellent, extremely personable and genuine. I grabbed a seat at the bar during lunch on a Friday because the place was packed. I was promptly greeted with a smile, and had an ice-cold beer in front of me only 20 seconds after I sat down. A prompt 10 minutes later my mussels arrived, and they were incredibly delicious. I had a short conversation with a couple who lives in the neighborhood and comes in frequently. They shared the same sentiments about this place. If only I worked in the area, I'd frequent this place weekly. The guys at Goldman, BofA/Merrill and BNY Mellon sure are lucky to have this place on their front porch! It's removed from the hustle-bussle that is the new Brookfield Place, so it's quite refreshing. I will surely return. It was a bit cold when I was there, but I imagine the outdoor seating is great come summertime.

Born in Brooklyn and that was the best meat sauce I ever had. Nice vibe. Pretty place. Service very good. Four stars restaurant generally but the meat sauce gets that fifth star.

Good place to go for lunch if you work near the WFC. I wouldn't say they have the best or cheapest pizza in New York, but beats eating cafeteria food. They probably marked up the prices because they are located right next to the Goldman Sachs building. Their pizza has good crispy crust. It's very oily though but so are most pizzas. The pizzas are good if you add an assortment of toppings. Favorite pizza I've tried so far is their white pizza with broccoli and olive toppings. It's less oily and the ricotta tastes really good with the broccoli. It gets especially crowded at lunch time, but they do take reservations and have takeout. Usually you can reserve an hour ahead of time.

This place is a lot better than you'd expect. There's not a lot of great pizza in TriBeCa/bpc/fidi, so this place feels a real need Pies are overall solid, and the spaghetti and meatballs is a sleeper. The place is pretty noisy at night, I prefer takeout.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was there with my work team and was forced to leave because of over booked reservation. I work across the street for a very Large company and they treated us as if we came in and orders waters. We spent hundreds of dollars for awful service, weak drinks and no pizza. I will never be returning to this poorly run, inadequate establishment. I can't express my displeasure and feel they should reevaluate there practices.

When I come to NY for work I stay at the hotel in the same building...so this place is super convenient. I was even more excited when I had the pizza and it was delicious! Good happy hour and also a good corner off the side of the bar to get work done. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. I'll be back when I am in NY next month for work. Cheers!

I ordered scallops, and they were overseasoned. My friend ordered pizza, and it was too greasy for my taste and wasn't all that good. Service was slow, too, even though we were there at 4.

Harrys is one of the better pizza's in NY, however my service experience at this location was poor. Firstly there were probably only 4-5 table occupied and it took a while for us to get service, all the staff were busy having a chat at the kitchen. When we finally did get someone attention (and our waiter was a nice chap) we requested a round pie and was told it's only available after 4pm whilst their menu clearly states round pies are available all day on Saturdays and Sundays, (I was there this Saturday - 7/18/15). We had to settle for the square. We also ordered penna vodka with shrimp, the portion that arrived was half of what it normally is (usually order this from the gold street location or take out) and there was like 3 shrimp in the pasta. To top it off they forgot to give us any bread! Have to say this has spoilt Harry's for me and it will be a while before I consider revisiting this location, if ever!

We came here for drinks and a bite before watching Furious 7. The bar service looked very good and quick but my friends and I wanted to sit on a regular table. Our waitress was a little slow. She recommended good drinks for sure but she was not around that much. I think it took her more than 7 minutes to come with the bill after we requested it. Overall I liked the place and I would probably come here again. They just need a little of improvement with their service and it will be a master piece.

I can't get enough of this place. I've tried most of the dishes they have in the menu and nothing ever disappointed me. Also, the staff knows you when you come back so you feel really welcomed. They're just phenomenal! This is THE place for brunches: their little pizzas and fritatas are just to die for. Plus they serve you REAL mimosas and bloody marries. Not just cheap stuff. I love the white pies there, specially if you top them with pepperoni. For the brunch menu, my favorite are the hang over pizza (spicy) and the asparagus omelet. Always try to taste the Canoli: it's addictive! Over all just a great place! :-)

Fun brunch spot in the FiDi (or battery park city but who's counting) - here's why: 1) They don't take reservations, but they also easily sat eight of us at noon for drunk brunch 2) $25 (with tip) for 90min unlimited mimosas/bloody marys/coffee/tea and a LARGE entree 3) clean, tightly packed (but not as bad as the popular spots!), and efficient service 4) FRITTATA and MIMOSA: I ordered the Asparagus and Proscuitto frittata, and it was a perfectly sized (6-8inch diameter) frittata. The seasoning was on point. The potato hash and bread that arrived with the fritatta were filling. The mimosas never stopped during service, and that was the best! Harry's is an unexpected fine brunch choice!

We came after a Winter garden concert. Yea Shanghai restoration project! We sat down; the apps came out fast, ordered a bottle of prosecco (light, crisp, delicious by the way) and chatted until the entrees came. Great service, personable waiter, delectable Italian food at this pizza bar/ sports bar. The gnocchi was chewy, cheesy; the stuffed mushrooms were flavorful and moist with a crunch on top; broccoli rabe and sausage shells were buttery and addictive; and veal godzilla had perfect combination of bitter and sweet with veal. The latter crowd were screaming at the Knicks game, but we didn't mind because we were laughing so loud. Good times.

I have a lot of happy memories of post-work happy hours here, and they've been mostly paid for by other people (i.e. work or colleagues), so I'm more than a bit biased (you might want to knock off one star for that). They have free delicious, fresh pizza at the bar during happy hour (literally, only at the bar and not at the tables in the bar area). There is no happy hour deal apart from that, which seems like a ripoff (don't call it happy hour then!) but also perfectly understandable at the same time (there are not many alternatives nearby). The drinks are consistently pretty stiff. The bartenders are friendly and the crowd is, as you can expect, mostly corporate folks from Amex and Goldman Sachs. Most of the time, the bar area gets pretty crowded (like the 4, 5 trains on weekday rush hours), but if you only have a small party (3-5), you can always find somewhere to awkwardly stand for a bit and then swoop in on open seats. It's not as competitive as finding parking at the mall during the weeks leading up to Christmas. This is a good lunch option too. The pizza is definitely the star of the show, but the pasta is fairly decent and satisfying. I noticed that people seem to come here when they want to eat alone or when they want to have scandalous, private/non-work related conversation... just an observation. So in short, good people watching, great pizza, stiff drinks at the expected eye-gouging prices (okay, not exactly eye-gouging... really "fair" New York prices).

This place is definitely on the upper level of pizza options in this area. I popped in on Friday by myself for lunch and was quickly seated at the bar. The entire staff here is friendly and they go out of their way to make sure that you are enjoying yourself. I opted for the half square pizza with a few toppings. This pizza reminds me exactly of Adrienne's over on Stone Street, so you already know that everything was fresh and EXTREMELY tasty! I will definitely make this place my go to before work from now on. Cheers!

Hungry tourists, loud kids, all kind of people who wondered hungry around World Financial Center and found Harry's. Yours truly and co. included, sadly. Wine list is pretty good, and Merlot was perfect, but food was just OK. It is very traditional, and while I did not expect anything super-creative, everything was a bit forgettable. We shared stuffed mushrooms with breadcrumbs - which really lacked seasoning. My orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage had same problem, just a bit bland and uninteresting. Service was very prompt, and portions are huge, tho.

AMAZING brunch place! Between 12pm and 4pm on the weekends you can get an entree (on a special list) and unlimited mimosas or blood Mary's for 2 hours for $25 (w/ tax and tip)! The food is delicious and they serve good portions. There is a good vibe and a solid playlist. The staff are attentive and the bartenders are very personable.

Stuffed mushrooms and fried calamari to start! This place is great for groups and you can't go wrong with anything that you order. I recommend eating family-style, so you can have a little bit of many dishes if you're coming here with a large group of people. You cannot go wrong with the pizzas!

Amazing! Came in for brunch and the food was great! I had the Nutella French toast which was simply amazing. Also tried the Hanover pie which was great as well. The unlimited mimosas were strong but sweet. Our server angel was amazing as well. Def would come back.

If you work in the area you've definitely tried this place before. If not you're missing out on the delicious pizza. I came here a couple of times for lunch with coworkers. The first time the experience wasn't so good because our food took forebee to come and we had to check with the waiter multiple times. The food took over 30 mins and there were tables that were seated after us got their food before us. The little plus side about this is that the waiter told us that the meal would be ok them since we were waiting for a long time. Other times the experience was much better. I tried ordering out or dining in and didn't have a problem with either option. I love getting their pizza with pepperoni. It's so good. If you dine in they give you yummy bread with oilve oil to start off your meal. Their pizza is on the high end side for the amount of food you get. I have tried other foods on their menu like their pasta and chicken dishes which are good but if you come here you should really try their pizza. Even if you weren't planning on getting pizza when you see the tables around you with the pizza you'll be tempted to.

This is a great place for happy hour or dinner on any night. The pizza is delicious, I have also had the fish, many different pastas and the eggplant... I have been greatly satisfied with all the food. It does get a bit crowded during the week with the financial crowd, but it has a really great atmosphere and a great outdoor section for summer days/nights. The staff is super friendly and they always remember you. I really like this place. Try it.

If you're in WFC and want a decent free pizza happy hour, go to Harry's. If you're in WFC and want some extra crispy pepperoni on your awesome thin crust pizza, go to Harry's. It's a post-work go-to because its within close proximity to work so we stop in probably once a week or so. Friendly bar staff and prices on par with the neighborhood. Luckily by the time I'm leaving work, most of that Goldman/AMEX crew has departed for whatever suburban enclave of Jersey they retreat to, so there are plenty of barstools to catch up on whatever exciting gossip happened during that day's shift.

This is a pretty good option if you are limited to the Battery Park City area and are sick of Shake Shack or the line there is too long. The pizza actually is really good here, but it is a little overpriced and the service can be pretty bad, especially during the lunch rush. Also, the menu makes no sense - in the list of toppings for pizza, the same toppings are repeated in different sections under different prices. I was in a large group when I came so nobody bothered to check, but I'm sure they just charge for the more expensive one. I would probably add a star if they worked out some of these types of kinks. It is also nice that they offer outdoor seating when the weather is nicer (though it hardly really feels like you are outside with the massive overhang of 200 West that is looming over the restaurant and the entire alleyway of stores in its shadow). I have only tried the pizza so far and it has always been delicious - I highly recommend getting a sausage and pepperoni pie with extra garlic. If you have a large group and are too lazy to walk up into Tribeca, this is a great choice.

In between 1 and 2 stars. . . We came here because it was one of very limited options nearby the Goldman building. The restaurant location is nice and has great outdoor seating. But the food was passable and the service was pretty bad. Mussels appetizer: we were excited about getting mussels. Another party had ordered this dish and it looked delicious. But we were disappointed when we got ours. . . they were not fresh. Most were passable but I had to spit out one that was definitely not fresh. Spaghetti with shrimp: tasted like what we would cook during college from a can. The spaghetti was just alright and the sauce was mediocre. Pasta with prosciutto: not much meat at all. We had to really dig for it. The sauce was also a red sauce and was also passable. We were hungry when we sat down but we had leftovers because we just did not want to eat them anymore. Service: our server was kind of rude. Maybe because it was pretty late at night and maybe she had a long day, who knows. Passable. Should've walked down the block to go get Chipotle instead. Better value.

Not the most impressive Italian place I've ever been to. A bunch of people in our party had the pizzas and thought they were great. I had the gnocchi which was woefully non-seasoned. It just tasted of dough. Maybe needed some salt? Something? It was swimming in sauce as well. The service was fine and they accommodated our slightly raucous and large group late on a Friday night, so that's a bonus. I'd give it another shot.

Great pizza and I loveeee yes loveeee the calamari sooo friggin good! Great spot to go to afterwork if you sit at the bar you get free pizza with your drinks. Can get a bit crowded so try to hold down a spot early if you can. Try the margaritas they are great.

Went here for lunch today with a friend. They have a pretty nice space with a wide bar in the middle, couple of flat screen TVs playing various sports, tall tables to sit at in front of the bar, nice breeze flowing in from the doors that opens up in the front overlooking the outdoor seating. We decided to order the half square cheeze pizza and a ceasar salad with chicken topping to share. When I ordered that pizza, I wish I was aware of the size. 6 slices of pizza between two was a little too much for us. Only cause it was good, we were able to finish four slices. Our ceasar salad wasn't of the size we expected either. They ran out of the small size plates, so served us extra salad with extra chicken and extra parm in a huge plate. I didn't like the salad that much, didn't taste as fresh as the pizza did. And I was barely able to finish more than 2 spoons. I will probably go here for lunch again only if i don't really have a choice. Else, I am not a fan.

I totally forgot I had ordered from them in the past. The cheese on the baked manicotti was burned, the manicotti itself was overcooked, and was a very small portion. My friend described my fettuccine alfredo as "really similar to what they serve at Applebees". I honestly don't know if that's accurate, but I can tell you I wasn't a fan. The $10 stuffed mushrooms were soggy and....I'm not sure to describe how this tasted. It was sweet, like dessert sweet. I was picking up notes of chocolate, my friend got hints of brown sugar, but we couldn't figure out exactly what had been stuffed into our mushrooms. We had asked before ordering if there was any cheese in them, and they said no, but other than that it's a mystery.

Lousy Service. Staff was snobby and couldn't care any less. A friend & I arrived around 3pm and decided we were going to split a half pie to go (Since they don't offer personal pizza or sell by the slice) The place was EMPTY with several staff standing around doing NOTHING. We asked the host how long a 1/2 pie would take he said about 8 to 10 mins. When we told him it would be to go his attitude completely changed and he waved us to the girl in the back taking orders over the phone. We waited for her to finish but she was on the phone for more than 8 mins. The other staff members standing around doing nothing offered NO assistance including the VERY RUDE Host at the door. So we walked out. I would have understood if the place was jamming but to get that type of attitude while there is nothing going on, was completely unacceptable. I work in a high profile position in the office building next door. Give suggestions on local businesses all day long. I WILL relay my negative experience as often as I can.

Ate here twice while in NYC. I didn't have the pizza but my buddies said it was excellent. I had the chicken parmesan sandwich one day and it was very good. The next visit I had the chicken masala. It was a little different than the traditional marsala that I'm used to but it was good none the less. The staff here actually got them the fourth star. They were very accommodating and their overall service was excellent. Definitely worth a try.

This place is great for groups and brunch especially as it is not very crowded on the weekends in this area. So, we came here for International Women's Day brunch with 10 women-yep 10 women and could not have been treated better. The prices were unbelievable 18.95 / person, which included bottomless mimosas. The portions were huge and while the food was not out of this world, it was still better than most- 5 start it was more about the experience. The staff was attentive and patient as our group came in for the first 45 minutes all varying times and in different numbers. Being a former server-I would cringe if I saw 10 women sitting in my section for brunch, but seriously they were awesome. They even surprised us with a free dessert. Our tab for 10 women came to around $200 and we each threw in $30. I would go back again.

The pizza here is very good. Like I ended up getting the half-square with meatballs, sausage and pepperoni (which are small in size and not floppy but perfectly crisp) and it was a very good pizza. There was just something about the olive oil infused dough and crust that made it absolutely delicious. Almost as good as Adrienne's pizza in Fidi and presented in that same square shape all sliced up. The half-square is like six rectangular "slices" and perfect for two females I would say. They'll box you up any leftovers. They also give you delicious bread and olive oil beforehand as well. It is on the high-end price wise for pizza and amount you get, but they are trying to sell more of the gourmet pizza experience here (each topping is additional and they have white cheese as well). They have other food here but if you are going to come here, you should really get the pizza (was even told this by my waiter). The establishment has a front bar portion with a sports bar kind of vibe (with sports playing on the three tv screens) and then the interior portion is more of the restaurant with the seating.

I've been to Harry's for happy hour before, however I have not tried their pizza - until recently. I went there for lunch and tried their pepperoni pizza, and boy was it good! The dough was baked perfectly and the pepperoni was nice and crispy - just perfect! It was a really good pizza. We tried the baked clams and they were delicious as well. The staff was attentive and friendly. It does get really crowded at lunch, so if you can get there a few minutes before noon, you will hopefully avoid a long wait to be seated. If you're in Battery Park and would like some really good pizza - Harry's is the place for you.

If i could give 3.5 stars i would. I thought the pizza was really great! Loved the crust. The prices for toppings are strange, i think it should be like one standard price for each topping. The calamari was good, not great.. I would come back if i was in the area. Nice selection of beers

There are food options in Battery Park City - WOO HOO! I mean that alone is worth a Star and if you're rating Harry's Italian Pizza Bar against other dining establishments in the area then it's probably 4-stars, but I'll rate against overall expectations. The food is good. There are a few tables outside and inside is the main dining room and the bar area. Very spacious bar area and good spot to meet for drinks, especially if you work down here. Alright wine list - the house white and house red should be avoided, they do come in carafes but are barely drinkable. While the bar is spacious, the main dining area is quite small and feels cramped, especially when it's busy. All in all, I like Harry's Italian Pizza Bar and in this neighborhood I think it's a much better bet then PJ Clarke's or Merchants for a quick bite or to meet friends after work.

    (3)
  • Chris W.

The chicken marsala is more soup than chicken entrée. The mushrooms are not fresh, probably canned and the gnats are very annoying. Otherwise the food seems ok, the service is also just ok, fairly quick. The bar looks to be well stocked. This place is nothing special. Nice location, looks classy, but gets loud due to neighboring places and pedestrian traffic.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30 with a group of 7 for lunch during a bachelorette weekend. We sat right down and were immediately given menus and asked our drink orders. They serve brunch until 4 which we ended up getting because they have all you can drink mimosas and bloody Mary's and clearly we were in the drinking spirit. Good was good but nothing overwhelmingly delicious. They have a "hangover pizza" on their brunch menu which is crazy with fries on top. All in all a very good experience.

  • Kris B.

Conveniently located in the Battery Park City area, but not much else to say. Stuffed mushrooms contained a relatively flavorless combination of breadcrumbs and cheese, not to mention undrained and soggy. Prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich was ok, but (and this sounds strange) there was too much prosciutto and not enough mozzarella.

  • Vic-Crys W.

Pros - good price for pasta, very good considering the area, good bread (has herbs), good portions Cons - expensive toppings for pizza ($5 for prosciutto) Bottom line - it's decent for a quick pasta hit, and I'd come back for mine.

  • Dave F.

Four star food with a two star value... I really think that kinda sums it up here. Came here after work on a Wednesday, and it was packed, but we were still seated immediately. Had the mussels in white sauce and a pizza. Mussels were good and a good size portion. Would have appreciated some more bread, which strangely, showed up at our table after the mussels were comsumed and left over broth taken away. Went with the large round pizza with sun dried tomatoes, cherry peppers, and pepperoni. This was an excellent pizza. I mean really tasty. The crust was crispy throughout and the dough had a very rustic / artesinal flavor to it. Up there for one of the best pizzas I have had in NYC. Now... here is my issue. The cost. The base cost for the pizza was $19... and $3 / $4 for each topping, so we are looking at nearly a $30 pizza. Little overboard if you ask me, regardless of how good it was. So would I recommend this place or come back? Yeah, I would... generally I am ok spending money on good food, it has outdoor seating, and it is convenient to the office. I just wish it wasn't a $30 pizza.

This place was very convenient to where I was staying at the Conrad. The service was great and the atmosphere was festive. I was impressed that the server was able to provide a Arnold Palmer with sweet tea. It's my experience that most restaurants in the North/East don't serve sweet tea. It was great. I tried the chicken in the oven with Broccoli and it was fantastic. If I am ever in BAttery Park City again, I will stop for dinner.

Don't get any actual entrees here - just the pizza. Preferably to-go or on seamless for delivery, unless you're a family and/or you enjoy being swarmed by screaming babies and children running around. The pasta dishes themselves are pretty puny in serving size, and crappy in quality. I made the mistake of having lunch here once with my parents, and I honestly felt embarrassed for even choosing such a terrible, inauthentic Italian place. Pizza though is good - especially if you get lots of stuff on it (sausage, mushroom, onion, peppers, etc.).

    (3)
  • Avi J.

Pro: Good food Cons: Your order will NEVER be right, so don't order via seamless. It's as if they don't even check the orders that come in through there. The girl that answers the phone to take orders is beyond rude and incompetent. So your order will STILL be wrong. When you call back to get the proper order you will be told that they will send out a replacement right away, but in reality it will take over an hour to get (we live a block away from there). Needless to say, after countless wrong orders and rude conversations with the girl that answers the phone, we will NEVER EVER order from Harry's again!!!!!!!! The food is good, but not good enough to endure the headache that is accompanied with every order.

This pizza place boasts something that makes it unique, wether it be the unusually soft but cooked crust, or the savory sauce there is something making this one of the top pizzas in New York. Being a pizza lover, and having eaten the voted best three pizzas in the east coast, (Harry's being one of them), I can assure that Harry's deserves to be on the list. Though I feel it is not the best, their sausage and pepperoni pizza is breathtaking with pepperoni having a soft center, an crunchy wall. Only one problem I foresee is the lack of a thin crust pie making it heavy and harder to finish. All in all an amazing pizza, though still in 3rd place because some pizzas can only be mastered by one place.

This past weekend was my second time at any Harry's, but specifically the BPC location. On both visits, we actually tried the FiDi locale first, but both times were turned away for different reasons (renovations, massive lines). On a Sunday around 2, a group of 7 of us walked in for brunch and were seated immediately, no questions asked. We all ordered the (now) $18-19 brunch, which includes an entree and unlimited mimosas or BMs. I ordered the prosciutto egg pizette and split it with my boyfriend who got the Ham n' Egger frittata--both were delicious. As are the home fries. The food is good--but I'd probably give it only a 3 based on food alone. The service we received is what pushed it the extra notch. A young man, I think named Israel, was one of the nicest waiters I've had in NYC.

Loud. Food is OK. Nothing too special. They've messed up my takeout order a few times. And they don't have sparkling water. I only go there because I work in the area.

Great happy hour! Free pizza and cheap beer. Corporate crowd, particularly after work. Can get loud, but there is usually a table. For lunch and dinner I love the old fashioned pizza. The pizza and pasta dishes as also great. Great takeout and delivery.

Ordered at 8:00 P.M. on seamless with a 30-45 minute delivery time. One hour later when I called the restaurant promised the food would be at my door in 5 minutes. Ten minutes later I called back and the delivery person delivered the pizza to the wrong address and the restaurant didn't offer an apology. Very annoying as they made a mistake 5 days earlier on another order by forgetting one of my entrees. Not happy at all.

I'll start with the good - the pizza is really good here. It's similar to Adriennes - the large rectangular pizzas which are great for sharing. They don't have set types, you just choose your toppings. The pasta is pretty good as well. The problem is the service. It is truly awful. I've been here quite a few times as I work nearby and there aren't many options, and it has never been good. All of the following have happened - taking too long to take our order, bringing the wrong drinks, forgetting to bring us bread, not being attentive with bringing us water... But the final straw recently was when I called to make a reservation. First he said, no they don't take reservations, and when I was about to call him on it and point out that the last time I'd tried to go they said all the (empty) tables were reserved, he asked how many? I said 5 and he said, no they only take reservations for 8. This isn't unusual, so ok, I said if we come in at 12 will we be likely to get a table - just trying to figure out how early we should come if we were walk-ins. He said, no, they basically would have no room between 11:30 and 4:30, so it probably wasn't worth coming! He told me not to come the restaurant, unbelievable, and he didn't apologize or suggest we just give it a go and be prepared to wait - nothing, just said basically don't bother coming. Ok then, I won't.

Decent pizza, decent service. Wasn't blown away by either, despite being told the pizza was one of Manhattan's best. Nice outdoor seating.
