The Blauvelt Coach Diner has been on a downward slide for the last couple of years. The food is bland and the wait staff leaves something to be desired. I have been there several times over the years and have never left feeling impressed. In addition I have had to send dishes back a few times. There are many other better choices for diners in Rockland County.

I started going her 2 years ago with my boyfriend. We love this place because of the great atmosphere and the food is great and for a very reasonable price!! This diner is where we go to reminisce about good times because it has has good vibes. Although, it is under renovation, sadly we can not go here at the moment but we are very excited to see the brand new diner hopefully the staff has not changed!

Went to my old haunt last night for the first time in years. I grew up in Blauvelt and it was our go to place as a family and later on as a late night after bar staple...The server was very sweet but the food was HORRIBLE! I ordered a Greek salad..NO feta no nothing even resembling a Greek salad except for the God awful Greek dressing The place looked dismal.. dirty and falling apart..I used to go there all the time in the 70s and 80s and even about 6 years ago once and it was good but now it's a shambles .Duct tape covering holes in the bathroom doors??? The Greek omelet had NO meat..and NO feta..again..NO feta?? A few tomatoes and onions ..It was dry and the potatoes were mushy and greasy..... Never again SO sad.... It used to be such a great... shiny clean place to go...The dessert case looks pitiful and dirty..I am really sad..That was MY diner..

Call me crazy, but I love this diner. Why? Because I don't forget one very important detail: it's a fricking diner!! It's not Per Se, people! Excellent breakfast and and even better Monte Cristo sandwich. And seeing as I am a connoisseur of home fries, I can confidently say that theirs are some of the best around. Service is diner style: friendly, no nonsense, and fast.

The quality of the dinner is back! A terrific pkace to have leisurely cup of coffee or meal. Staff is friendly, place is clean, food is good diner food. Amd they really bake their desserts right at the diner! It's time to return to the Blauvelt Diner!

This place has gotten worse and worse over the years...I remember coming here as a little kid and loved their "fish pond" with a bridge over it, but now even the breakfast is kinda gross which is a sad for a diner...they have recently tried to diversify the menu and offer "sushi", which well if you're ordering sushi at a diner you have other issues! This place used to be packed...I don't think they have opened the other side in years as business has steadily decreased.

There's a reason this place has been here forever. It's not bad at all, contrary to the 2 previous fools who have rated this place. It's just another diner, but they don't rip you off. why would i pay 11 bucks for what costs me 7 here?? you get your food quick, hot and your outta there. But im usually sober when i go there, so maybe it's worse when im a drunken fool! give it a shot...it aint bad.

I agree with Tee -- why pay more elsewhere? The Blauvelt Coach may not be perfect, but you'll find standard diner fare at very reasonable rates. The numerous times I've swung by for a quick dinner on my own or a lunch with coworkers the service has never been anything but prompt and courteous; they're not gonna fawn over you, but you won't feel ignored. The food comes out fast and hot -- exactly what you want from a classic diner. Sure, you could go to the glitzy new place a little further down 303 and shell out twice as much for the decor, but at the Coach you'll feel right at home.

this doesnt even deserve any rating. this place has terrible service. and i remind you we were there like at 2 in the morning when there was like 3 tables of customers. the water was nasty it had a weird taste and the food wasnt even that good. never the less it was the only place open near by after drinkin the night away. i plan on never coming back here ever again!
