There was a bug in my iced tea and my fork had food on it. There wasn't even an apology. Says enough, no? Avoid this place!

I grew up in Jersey, so craving diner food is in my genetic makeup. New Jersey is home to more diners than any other state (over 600); there are more diners in New Jersey than any other place in the world. Because I've probably been to about 100 of the 600 diners, I consider myself a diner connoisseur. I was interested to try Eldorado West for two reasons: 1) Can NY diner food be as good as NJ diner food? 2) Prove to my boyfriend that NJ diners are better than NY diners. It's hard for me to believe what I'm about to write, but if I closed my eyes and pretended I was in Jersey, I would think Eldorado was a NJ diner. That's probably the highest compliment a diner can receive. The food is great, and the waiters are very friendly and remember you when you return. I'm big into ordering breakfast food at diners, and I must admit that the eggs served at Eldorado are among the best diner eggs I've had. The turkey sausage is also a feat of deliciousness. Once, I decided to step out of my cozy breakfast food orb and try the chicken salad melt. That sandwich was a delectable orb of it's own; an open-face chicken salad sandwich on rye topped with cheddar cheese, and served with fries. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm absolutely ordering that sandwich the next time I go to Eldorado. The decor of Eldorado is the classic American diner look: big leather booths, a teal/salmon pastel color scheme, long laminated 7-page menus, waiters dressed in black. It all fits the bill. One issue: the iced tea is strange - diluted almost, flavorless and maybe even stale if beverages can even be stale. Not a fan. To answer my aforementioned questions: 1) Yes, in particular instances, NY diners can be as good as NJ diners. 2) I can't prove it, but I will continue to try! Maybe Eldorado's proximity to the border of New Jersey (16 miles) is what makes it so great. Or maybe it's just THAT good.

I gave it five stars because the burger was awesomely grilled (grill is clean and they use charcoal), the sweet potato fries were twice cooked I think (it was so good). Husband ordered grilled cheese and it was done so well. This is my new favorite diner. They cook good food. The pickle and the slaw was really good too. Can't wait to come back and try everything else.

Good food with excellent service! The owners and wait staff are very friendly and attentive. I've been here many times for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Pancakes, French toast, Greek salad, veggie burgers, fries... Food is always good and I leave feeling satisfied.

Great Philly cheesesteak. Good fries and tasty cole slaw. The decor is super dated and service is slow.

dammit! i wished i yelped before i ate, oh well, so is life. here i am in diner county and its just ok. as they have said, prime location, kinda dirty, yea, i saw a few fruit flies hovering behind the counter. so scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, 9 bucks. when in rome... the bacon was not bad, kinda fatty, the eggs were good. home fried came loaded with onions and a few peppers, totally my least favorite thing to see when i stare down onto my breakfast potatoes. i shant be back, but i tried...

The food was ok. I've had better diner food. The soup was extremely salty. The place definitely needs a face lift! It's very tired looking. I would not recommend this diner at all.

Horrible. Another example of how some guy who knows nothing about food just decides to open a dinner and worry more about making money in the front of the place while completely paying zero attention to the production in the back room! You have to train your kitchen staff!!! I ordered a medium burger with fries. I got a plate of dog food. The bread was old and stale. The first burger was super well done when ordered medium. The 2nd burger was simply well done. I should have kept the first order of fries. The second plate had fries that were not even cooked! They gave me lettuce- nothing else. Then I paid almost $16 bucks for this crap being served by a nice, albeit no English speaking, guy. Skip. Don't waste your time. My wife got some other plate of eggs crap. Horrible. Not even an apology for the horrible mess I complained about.

My sister and I were staying across the street at the DoubleTree Hotel for a conference last Summer and rather than drive and search around the area this looked like an easy place to have a late lunch/early dinner. Although they were busy we were seated right away and our order was taken promptly. A nice basket of various breads that had been baked on-site was brought to us. My sister had a steak and seafood dinner which she liked. I had the Club Sandwich special, an ok Roast Beef club. It was the only Sandwich to come with fries and it was still pricey. The food was good, just fairly expensive for what it was. I would expect to pay these prices in NY city, but seemed a bit high for Tarrytown.

I liked this place until today. I went to eat there, and ordered my lunch. When I used the restroom before the food came, I noticed the water wouldn't work. They said they were doing work on the street and had to turn it off. I didn't think that was good but I figured the kitchen would have water. After we finished the waiter for another table said "Sorry we can't make that because we have no running water"!!!!!! WHAT! You sick people! They were serving food with no running water in the Diner! How are you not shut down?!?!?!?!? Never again will I eat there. I became sick to my stomach thinking about it. They choose money over diners safety!

Waiting for the overheated and dry Chicken Pot Pie (a Monday night special) to cool sufficiently to eat. Zero gravy in this thing, microwaved way too long. Bleah.

I wanted to enjoy it but the terrible service ruined it. My choice was baked macaroni and cheese with chicken breast. It was cold and tasteless. They sent me a new plate which was hot and tasteless. I have enjoyed breakfast here in the past but, tonight was awful. And no one apologized about the cold food. Never again.

Last stop before the wilderness of Rockland County. This is a great diner. I've been here a few times over the past 5 years or so and have always had a delicious meal. The burgers, chicken sandwiches and breakfast are all great. It's the kind of place you don't think about going to, you just end up there. That's not a bad thing. It's a diner. Usually late nights or mornings are the best time for these places. The coffee is good and bottomless, the waitresses are very nice, and the food is really good. You cannot ask for much more.

Basic diner food, which is good. However, everytime I go in there (which is usually early mornings) server will walk over to my booth once I have sat down and ask me if I would like to see a menu. When I respond "yes" they walk back and grab one then bring it to me. Common sense would dictate that you bring a menu over on your first trip to the table. This has happened every time I have eaten there and it is annoying. Of course I want to see a menu! I do not make a habit of memorizing diner menus. The food is good, hours are convenient and the service is adequate.

Three of us had a late breakfast on a Saturday. The service was indifferent. The food was so so. One if us had s bagel "deluxe," a giant doughy bagel they didn't bother to put cream cheese on; you got one of those tiny containers like you get at an airport. The tomato slices were leaden & tasteless. Our omelets were okay but the home fries were as dry as cardboard-- they even looked like cardboard, light brown and inert! On the us side, the coffee was good and hot and the one slice of cocoanut cream pie we split was big, juicy & delish.

The waitress brought us the bill when we had eaten only half of our sandwiches. She came back about 5 minutes later, looked at the unpaid bill, and asked if we wanted something else. She kept coming back to see if we had paid. Finally, we were done and paid at the register while she watched from the side. The food was average diner food. I got a chicken wrap with fries and it was good, but the wrap was pretty small. Around $20 for a meal with a fountain drink and tip.

My latest trip to Eldorado West was great. We stopped by here after a very trippy Allman Bros concert at Jones Beach. Eldorado West is one of the better diners in the area because they're open reliably late, it's clean, and has many nice booths to sit at. We were all very loud and possibly obnoxious, but the employees didn't bother us about it, perhaps they're used to dealing with hallucinating kids. The food here is better than Eldorado's and so is the service. Just nicer all around. Lots of parking too. Note: I hate the Allman Bros.

El Dirt Rot O (Mystery Meat..What meat is it really?) I read through some of the feedback just to make sure I was not in a nightmare but someone needs to say it... Basic Diner Food is an understatement. I am not sure how a diner of this size in such a great spot can screw up 0/3 orders for all 3 guests and I normally do not knock local spots as i am a fan of local independently owned businesses but in this case what is going on? We were staying at double tree and went across for dinner. We ordered: 1/3 Grilled Chicken Salad -chicken was pink and raw, had to sent it back to cook, it came back ok, the best out of the 3 2/3 Open Turkey Dinner- it was cold...I mean really cold...I sent it back and asked the server to heat it up. At $15.99 I paid for a microwave dinner. 3/3 Lasagna-My co-worker ordered this and it looked good but he took a few bites and then just stopped eating..he said something was weird about it. Since I was waiting for my cold dinner to "heat up" I decided to take a bite and understood immediately why he wasn't eating. The meat had an after taste didn't taste like ground beef or ground chuck. Took another bite and the consistency was chewy and was greyish. It was a mystery meat-we think it was ground up gyro or lamb as that was what it tastes like...but it's not fun thinking about it...The server took it away as if this was a far too common occurance. Lack of responsiveness from the owner/manager, he obviously knew there was a problem as we were sitting 10 feet away from the register where he stood. He saw the server obviously irritated with what was coming out of the kitchen and our feedback yet the manager never approached us or apologized. He let the server take the brunt of the abuse-which wasn't abuse at all -we let him know it's not his fault and he even comped the lasagna off the bill. I felt bad for the kid. The manager has absolutely no pride for the restaurant, the business, the patrons or passion for the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen. Whoever the owner is NEEDS to read DANNY MEYER'S book to learn the basics of HOSPITALITY. Overall, this is a great opportunity for an experienced diner owner to move in and make an offer for a sorry and dying establishment in a really great location- the signs are obvious.

Never again. First time I order take out from this place, nothing crazy, just fried calamari. They were dry chewy and not flavor at all, I didn't check the paper bag and when I got to my job I realized they "forgot" to give me the marinade tomato sauce , just a plastic container with lemon wadges. Almost $11,00 gummy and tasteless calamari.

I grew up on NY diners, so whenever I get a chance to come back to the state, I always make sure to hit one of the local places. El Dorado West is one of the best. For El Dorado West, its not just the food - standard, solid diner fare - but the service. Hit the place in the morning and sit at the bar and you will meet Sue; funny, friendly, engaging and hyper efficient to you every need. That coffee cup never gets to the bottom with Sue around. In the afternoon, look for Billy. He met me once when I asked for a specialty sandwich that had been taken off the menu, and he never forgot me, greeting me every time after. He cannot do enough to make your visit enjoyable. El Dorado West is a local place, and you get to see the best of NY when you are there. Take it all in and enjoy.

I'm always super bummed to leave poor reviews but alas, here we go... Post wedding festivities, upon our return to the doubletree across the street, we decided to cave into our drunchies. The typical New Yorker in me was ready to sink my teeth into some quality diner food, anticipating the also typical warm and hospitable waitress type. JUST KIDDING... When myself and half of our 8 person group arrived, we were clear that we were waiting for more. In our five minute wait for the rest of the group, in this ghost town of a diner, the waitress stopped by and asked if we were waiting for more and we told her yes (obviously). She dropped off waters and didn't return until about 15 minutes after the rest of our group arrived (we were sitting probably 25 mins overall). We all had small/snacky orders, which seemed to annoy her? My mom wanted the fries with gravy and cheese, asking for them on the side, and the waitress rudely argued with my mom over it. "What am I supposed to do, melt it on the plate? This isn't the movie theatre, this isn't processed cheese." Obviously there are more polite ways to go about explaining cheese on the side isn't an option? Additionally, a person in our group was literally FROM GERMANY (this menu and diner concept was unfamiliar) and changed her mind after ordering but before the waitress left the table, which also seemed to annoy the waitress? I never realized how difficult it was to draw a line through a word and rewrite a new word? Our plates came pretty quickly, they were all mostly cake slices and fries. I had the carrot cake, which I enjoyed, but I was also drunk and probably would've enjoyed no matter what. However, in lieu of the sweet man who seated us (I assume was the owner), I'll assume it was actually pretty yummy. Overall, it looked like typical diner food and had my phone not died I would have demanded that I take photos of all our food because I wouldn't be a yelper otherwise. The experience was super mediocre, and I understand it was late night at a 24-Hour diner, but it is part of the job? Don't work someplace, customer service oriented nonetheless, if you're going to be miserable. We want to enjoy the meal as well as the service, they're kind of a package deal. We had the opportunity to return the next morning for breakfast, but I insisted we avoid the diner and instead brought our money else where. I'll go ahead and say, maybe under different staff the experience may be entirely different. But I would definitely recommend just heading into town, if you have the time, to one of the nicer restaurants. There are way better options in the surrounding area, which is cozy and pleasant!

They serve booze bonus other than that I can't really think of anything that's overly special about this diner. The food is typical diner food the portions seem to be sizable and acceptable albeit slightly over priced.

Holy cow over 8 bucks for 2 eggs. While eggs are still under two bucks for a dozen at the store.. come here if you're filthy rich and lazy. Sandwhiches go upto over 10 bucks.. the prices of this diner is worse than in the city.. I don't mind paying the amount but the quality doesn't match it's price. It's your average Joe diner food with fancy prices.. expect to spend about $30 breakfast for 2 people.

Average Diner. Decent room for seating and tons fo choices on the menu!! So many, it was hard to make a decision. The food was good, but nothing special. The prices were definitely high for me; but maybe this location commands that. I would stop again, but would not go out of my way for it. We had a gyro and some pancakes. The gyro was nothing special, but was not bad. The cakes were actually very good. Also, they have a ton of deserts, but we did not have room for them after dinner.

I used to be an incredibly frequent diner patron, but as I've moved through my teenage, college and now post-college years, diners have become a breakfast and post-midnight spot (when I would most likely order a waffle anyway) almost exclusively. So, as unfairly as it may be, this review is based entirely on breakfast. And for breakfast, this is a quality diner. Yeah, I'm a bit of a stickler, and El Dorado manages to satisfy all of my stickler issues. Number one issue I'm a stickler for: a high pepper or onion to potato ratio in my home fries. El Dorado nails it. Stickler issue number two: Not enough cheese in my ommelette. Not a concern here. Stickler issue number three: bad coffee and slow coffee service. At El Dorado, I get more offers for coffee refills than I know what to do with. I've recently been on a road trip to and from Texas from NY and along the way I discovered loads of regional fast food joints, which led to me asking: Why don't we have these in NY? The answer my friends gave me: we have diners. Thank you friends! I have no qualms bringing anyone to El Dorado West (East is another story) for breakfast or a late night snack.

A rather typical diner, though I could see if it were my local diner, how I might display some affection towards it. But I'm from Jersey, dude... I crush it when I diner. I had an $11 brunch special consisting of a Bloody Mary, coffee, two (2) wheatcakes, two (2) links of turkey sausage and egg whites with (orange-type) American cheese. That is an impressive volume of food at that price point but the quality of the food reflected basic economic realities i.e. not so great.

This was the worst experience I've had at any food establishment. Take my advice and do NOT go here! French onion soup look liked it was tossed upside down. Mixed veg returned as they were so overlooked it was hard to identify what they were. My fries were cold, green and reheated many times. The chicken wings were so covered in burnt batter it was hard to find any chicken which was BLACK! So I complained to the manager who more or less walked away and didn't apologize. I was asked what item I didn't want to be billed for by the waiter and I said you go ask the manager. My bill was reduced by $12 but it was not the point. The manager is totally incompetent and I noticed he was arguing with his staff in front of us and all the other customers. The staff all seemed really agitated and looked like they were burnt out and had no patience! But after I confronted their manager I now understand where all their hostility comes from! If I had to deal with him on a daily basis I would have an attitude too!

I am one of those people who could eat breakfast food at any interval in the day. I ordered a belguim waffle close to midnight and it was made just fine. The only thing I have issue with is that they didnt have any good pancake/waffle egg combos. I personally like sausage and eggs with my waffles/pancakes but everything was extra here. I think I will stick with the diner in Dobbs Ferry for my combos. For what I got, it was good and no complaints.

The food was fine, actually pretty good for diner food. However our experience was ruined by the apparent refusal of our waitress to wait on us. We were there for a good 15 minutes and no waiter. I went to the hostess desk to ask what happened, and they were having an argument about serving us. Apparently the waitress (an older woman) assigned to our section for some reason refused to wait on us. In the end another waiter did, and he did a fine job. Not sure what we did to put off the first waitress. Almost hope it was something we did. In this day and age, you would hope that being Asian is not cause to being refused service is a diner. We were definitely not scruffily dressed or loud. Just a couple with a seven year old daughter, who is very well mannered.

Been going here for over 11 years and its become a staple of this area. Being open 24 hours a day, it is a great place to go to when you want any kind of random food your heart could desire at any hour. This is great for those late drunk nights. My favorite food here is their baked ravioli, regular ravioli, and their caesar salads. Great milkshakes as well. Sometimes the service is really bad, but over 11 or so years a couple nightmare stories are just blips on the radar for me.

Was with the family looking for a Diner not far off on I-287 so we chose here. I had my kids order from the children's menu and my wife had a wrap. Nothing fancy here, standard food on the bland side and every item was a couple of bucks more than average. I guess it's the location.

I will never go to this diner again. My husband met a client there a few weeks a go. During breakfast, his client passed out and had to be rushed to the hospital. That day, the restaurant staff acted appropriately, calling 911 and dealing with EMT. When my husband tried to pay the bill, they rightfully declined. Two weeks later, my husband and the same client, who is thankfully doing well, met there again for breakfast, at which time the waitress handed him two bills... including the $13 from the day of the emergency. I imagine that you will agree that this is disgraceful. As I said, we will never go there again.

What a horrible experience! How does a diner mess up breakfast so badly? Went there today for a quick Labor Day breakfast...we asked for our bacon to be extra cooked and they burnt it to the point that it was black and hard. To make matters worst I found a hair in my food. Now I understand why this diner was practically empty on probably the busiest day of any given restaurant. Overall, the taste of the food was bland and prices are not cheap. What a shame that such low quality food is served in such a nice neighborhood like Tarrytown.

I go here mostly late nights- the location near the Tappan Zee bridge is very convenient. I pick up a cheeseburger deluxe for me and a Greek gyro for my wife. The custom started back in her 2nd pregnancy 7 years ago, so it has been a while. The fries are always good, the gyros are fresh and tasty, and the burger has always been substantial and cooked the way I ordered. I'll also come by occasionally to sit down with a friend. The chocolate shake is great and the desserts are as good as they look- jello, pie, etc. Breakfast is always on the menu, and that is good too, particularly the omelettes. One important point: this is a "DINER," and in my world that means that when here, one orders diner food. Ordering Italian, fish, or something better suited to another sort of place is antithetical to why you come here, so we are rating the diner on diner food. Imagine that.

I stopped in around 7 PM on a Sunday for a quick dinner. It was very quick and served its purpose, but that's about all. I had spaghetti and meatballs, which the menu said came with salad, but my waiter brought out soup instead. The soup (Chicken and Rice) was actually the most delicious part of the meal! It also came with two rolls, which were pretty standard. The spaghetti and sauce were good, the meatballs were a little bland, but standard fare for a diner and I was happy enough. I'd say that it was OK for a quick bite to eat, but I probably won't go back during the rest of my stay.

I am very easy to please when it comes to diners, alas, too many leave me with something desired now a days... This place, at both Tarrytown and Elmsford locations, satisfy. What I want from a diner: * Big, juicy burgers - turkey and veg a plus * Golden, thin fries.. Soft, mushy, fat-cut fries are NOT fries, they are what we call "wedges" ( which are also good, just are not French fries ) - disco fries * Great breakfast spread - egg-white omelettes - corned beef hash - home fries - cakey pancakes & large, crisp waffles * Various salads * Wraps * Fresh desserts * 24 hours And all except wraps and desserts ( that haven't been tried yet ), they meet all the criteria to rank. The Elmsford location even delivers! Home fries made me very happy, soft and tender with a good, crunchy crust underneath. Calamari was good and not done to rubber, corned beef hash was, I think, from a can, but it was still good, fries were perfect! Skinny, crispy, and golden. I usually get delivery from here, which is usually 20 min to a half. xx

I stopped by Tarrytown on a business trip, and this was the only place open in the area at 12:30am that wasn't fast food. I had a turkey burger and a Sam Adams. They both really hit the spot, with decent food quality and service. However, nothing stood out as truly impressive. They have jukebox machines installed at all the tables, but unfortunately they were all non-operational. This is not a place that I'll be returning to because of its taste. It's a place that I'll return to because of its hours and decent food/service.

There is absolutely nothing in the world that is worse than a bad breakfast to-go. You've already left the establishment and can't point out that everything has gone to hell in a handbasket, and the overly generous tip you left on the counter has already been undeservedly taken. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment because this isn't the first, second, or even third time that I've had a crappy experience at El Dorado diner, yet I still came back with a small glimmer of hope that their food would be edible. Don't get me wrong -- if you just want a muffin and a coffee, they can usually handle that, but be sure to state clearly, at least 3-4 times, that you do NOT want any milk in your coffee, and please, no butter on the muffin. There is still the 50/50 chance that the nice Latino man will misunderstand your order and give you extra milk in your coffee and extra butter on your muffin, but that's a chance I'm occasionally willing to take. This morning, however, was just beyond deplorable. It was a relatively simple order for my boyfriend and me: - two hard boiled eggs with turkey bacon (I'm low-carbing) - a plain bran muffin - a small coffee with skim milk (no sugar) - small plain peppermint tea (no milk, no sugar) I should have been warned that things were going wrong when part of the order process sounded like this: Boyfriend: ... a small coffee with skim milk, no sugar, and a small peppermint tea, nothing in it. Server: Two small coffees, milk and sugar? Boyfriend: ... NO. I thought we'd straightened everything out, especially because we went over the order details numerous times, but when we got into the car, with a false sense of triumph, we opened up our greasy paper bag to find the following problems: - the muffin was floating in mounds of butter - my two hard boiled eggs had the consistency of porridge and tasted rotten - they left out my turkey bacon altogether - the small coffee had milk AND sugar - the small peppermint tea also was loaded with sugar As someone with sensitivities to sugar and an allergy (and lactose intolerance) to milk, I was left with nothing, and my boyfriend was left with a greasy muffin and a cup of coffee that tasted like candy. This place is the worst and even though it's right across from where we live, I will never return because it's like throwing money straight into a garbage can, then lighting the garbage on fire.

As far as diners go, this has not met any expectations. I'm one of those people that believe that just because you're a diner, you should still have quality food and service. While I've never been to El Dorado for breakfast, I can only comment on their lunch/dinner meals. Like the ratings say - Meh. I will say that I have had the WORST veggie burger in my entire life. It reminded me why I like meat. I'm not against veggie burgers, I've had some very tasty veggie burgers but at El Dorado, DO NOT GET THE VEGGIE BURGER! Unless you want mush between a bun with absolutely no flavor. I am so traumatized by the disgusting veggie burger that I can't remember the other meals I've had at this place - which isn't a good sign, I must have not liked them either. No, I do not plan to go back, it's also easier since I do not live in the area anymore, I don't have to resort to it. Do yourself a favor, take the extra trip down Broadway and get a delicious meal at Bella's instead.

Maybe it's 'cause it was late at night, but really, the fries were just. so. good. And gyros was great -- moist and tasty. Service was right on, friendly and quick.

See my review for the one in Elmsford. Same deal, except I prefer the seating arrangements at this location - more elbow room.

I'm not a regular diner diner, so my standards/expectations may not be properly calibrated, but...when it comes to simple food, shouldn't it be simple to make taste good? Maybe i went on an off day (the waiters were rushing around, when it wasn't even that full, so maybe there was more traffic/less staff than usual) I don't go to diners often, so I wanted to hit my cravings. They didn't have any egg and pancake combos that didn't also include bacon and sausage, so i ordered a Spanish omelet (peppers, onions, and an intriguing sounding 'zesty Spanish sauce) and a short stack of pancakes. The zesty sauce turned out to be julienned carrots, peppers, onions, and celery in a watery salsa sauce - and there was about two cups of it on my omelet. Yuck. The accompanying home fries were terrible - tasteless and lacking any crunch. The pancakes, in comparison, were good (but in comparison only). They made a decent sponge for the maple syrup. One friend got a bison burger with waffle fries. The fries were a hit, the burger a bit tasteless. Another friend enjoyed her veggie omelet, but the accompanying fruit salad had clearly seen better days. Service was practically nonexistent (i had to stand up with an empty cup in order to chase down a coffee refill) and the jukebox ate my quarter. So disappointed was i that i actually decided against a to-go muffin that was roughly the size of a dodge-ball. If you knew me, you'd know that's pretty bad...

Just OK. Waiter had a tough accent. Large potions like you'd expect in a diner. Fast service for a late lunch.

I would rate it negative stars if I could. My husband just related his experience this morning at this diner. He drank his coffee and found something stuck to the bottom of the cup the size of an eraser. He called this to the attention of the staff and they told him it was a cup imperfection. Since he was able to scrape some of the material from the bottom of the cup, i don't think it was an imperfection. He requested a new cup and asked that the coffee be poured at the table. He ended up with a comment, "If you're going to be like that...". The server left the table, snickering, and continued with the person at the register. Customers are not jokes nor should they be the butt of jokes of the diner staff...the server should have looked in the original cup before pouring. The fact that someone does not want to open themselves up to potential illness and pointed it out to the staff benefits both people and is not laughable! I took them five minutes to ring up his drinks, still dealing with the staff's rude, ignorant attitudes. He left, never to return and hopefully anyone reading this will not bother either.

I really wanted to like this place because they sell bison burgers - and the burgers there are relatively good, but I AM concerned about the cleanliness of the place - I went there in Dec 2010 and without going into details or length, the utensils had food on them and the water smelled funny - i had a quesy feeling in my stomach after eating there. I would suggest people AVOID this place @ all costs until they change management - sad because it COULD be a great place, but right now this place STINKS!! I would use this place more because I work nearby and I ran into a David Letterman staffer some months ago, but they need to check the kitchen for cleanliness!!

we always frequent this diner when visiting my grandma. its her favorite. props for the extensive salad menu (baby spinach, portobellos, grilled chicken, and sundried tomatoes....so fancy for a diner!). more props for the super yummy matzoh ball soup. and thats coming from someone who makes a mean homemade matzoh ball herself. and the turkey burger review (because what's a diner without a review of the turkey burger deluxe?): nice and juicy, flavorful, and a good size. not massive, and not skimpy. the fries were nice and crispy too. the pickle was s tasteless green spear of disappointment. nonetheless, i will order this burger again, hands down.
