I had my brother run out and get a spicy beef, chicken, and mid beef jamaican patties for the road. We were so excited to bite into these Caribbean goodness. I made sure to squeeze into the mini parking lot. Shortly after, my brother came back with the patties. I would like to say that the chicken patty defeats the original. Next time, I am going to try the almighty jerk chicken. I stepped out to check the dining area and all I saw was a cute space for a young couple to eye gaze away. I would recommend this place to a interested pair of young freethinkers trying to dazzle their day away with something new.

To be honest I prefer the old school deli patty's, when u open it and add a slice of cheese &/or pepperoni, but the choices at all the golden krust including this allows for ur taste buds to enjoy other types of pattys.

I stopped in this morning because I just started a new job at lij and was craving a patty. I should of took the advice of some people on yelp because it was gross and still frozen .I just threw it away and will never come back since it's not worth it to argue because it was so cheap

Wow, just had the breakfast sandwich, delicious! Never thought I would like fish and spinach for breakfast but I am sold! I only knock golden krust 1 star for the small portions for the lunch specials.

The mission statement of Golden Krust "is to provide Consumers with authentic, tasty Jamaican patties and relevant Caribbean cuisine in convenient settings and size." That is what they do! This is the cleanest Golden Krust I have been to. I didn't take pictures of the actual patties we ate them too fast but they look the same as the others I have taken. I got Jamaican chicken and Jerk chicken patties. My hubby gets the Jamaican beef patties. The 3 stars is only because the ratings are for patties. It is hard to rate on a 5 scale system. But when I want Jerk chicken patties I get Golden Krust. They are always reliable.

I've been here for lunch about 3 times but only ate once. the one time I ate the food was okay. but the other 2 times I walked out after waiting on line for 20 to 30 minutes with no end in sight. service, at least during lunch, is ridiculously slow.

I am blessed to have a wonderful Jamaican aide for my ailing mother so when she asked me to stop at Golden Krust to get her some of her favorite goodies, I told her, "no problem." Unfortunately, all I had was problems. I showed the person the list given me by the aide and the woman behind the counter said, "is this for someone who works for you?" I said, "Yes, she takes care of my mother." Then she told me that they didn't have anything on the list. I then asked if I could purchase something else that my mother's aide would like and I was given an offhanded wave toward the food that was displayed. There I saw what was specifically listed on the paper I had shown her - chicken patties and meat patties so I asked for them. Then I asked for a spice bun which was on the menu but was told they didn't have any. When asked if they EVER have any, I was told "sometimes." Then, when I was ready to pay the bill of over $25.00, I was told that the credit card machine was "down." Luckily, I had the cash, paid and got out of there. I will make it my business to find these items elsewhere.

I was driving by and I noticed that Golden Krust had a special, Jerk Chicken Patties for 99 cents for the month of August, because of Jamaican Independence Day (August 6th). Mmmm. I love beef patties, so I figured, what the heck, how much different can a chicken patty be. Let's give this place a chance. I walked in around 12:30 pm and the place was pretty packed with about 7-10 tables inside. I stood in line for all about 5 minutes (with 4 people in front of me) and ordered 2 Jerk Chicken Patties. The lady went to the back, I'm assuming because they ran out from the counter in the front. She came back in about a minute with my two patties and threw them in a brown paper bag. The patties came out to $2.00, no tax. That put a smile on my face because I hate leaving restaurants with change almost totaling a dollar. I took them out of the brown bag and they were average-sized, a bit peach/beige in color, different from the familiar mustard yellow we have all known to love. They also seemed a bit flat near the center, meaning they probably weren't stuffed with a lot of meat. I took a bite into it, and it was steaming hot. The pattie flaked perfectly, though the chicken inside was a bit odd. I did not really see chicken, but more of a dark brown curry-like consistency with shreds of chicken here and there. There was a nice kick (spice) to it, which put smiles across my face. The jerk chicken patty was decently good, but I think I like the typical beef patties more. In all, I'm a bit curious as to what other foods they sell here, and I may have to come back to check it out one day.

I wish I could give this place no stars. Horrible service and the food isn't as good as the other golden krust.

Excellent food. Spicy beef party but especially the curry goat. Food was cooked perfectly though the curry could benefit from skimming the fat on top of the sauce. A bit greasy for my taste. Otherwise perfect.
