I love it here. Korean bbq is great, so since its right by my job I can't help but go in. I always get the 3 tacos for $10. They give you free water with your food which is cool, I could do without the cucumbers though. I love the fried chicken taco. I have a feeling the wings are great, but I haven't tried them yet. Great spot by the train.

The food is great! Very affordable and tasty. I love the Korean chicken wings and the Bbq nachos

This was one of the single worst food experiences I have ever had. he tacos arrived cold. The fresh fires were inedible --- fried in old oil, soggy, and a totally unappetizing. I had everything delivered and was shocked at how bad things were given the reputation of the truck. The food may be better if you eat in and don't get it delivered.

Shit is the first word that comes to mind. IT'S apparent Nobody here knows what is KOREAN food. They Have NEVER EATEN Korean Food, I received CRAP! I would recommend closing for a few weeks to learn how to cook Korean. Korean food is clean and elegant, Not this SHIT.

First visit - pretty great little lunch spot. This neighborhood has limited great taco options - Calexico being the only one, basically - and zero Korean taco places. I had the short rib kimchi bowl. Serving size is modest - that's good - with pickled carrot, kimchi, cabbage on white rice. Bowl cost $9. Service is super friendly. I'll go back later this week to try the tacos and burrito.

Just had my first taste experience. I had the Kimchi Bowl with BBQ and multi-grain rice, which is a tastefully arranged composition of your choice of protein over sauted cabbage and carots, fresh kimchi, cucumber kimchi, pickled daikon, on a bed of rice (white, multi-grain or fried kimchi rice), lettuce and pico de gallo. At $9 for a portion it left me satisfied but not stuffed and feeling I, for once, had a healthy lunch. In this neighborhood this is hard to come by unless you are willing to spend much more money. I was only surprised that the rice was luke-warm, but other than that perfectly cooked. The kimchi is not too spicy either, so it's definitely been adjusted to a western palate.

The arancini rice balls are not what I remembered them to be. They were too small and too heavily fried. The short rib burrito was delicious. It was so filling we took the other home for lunch.

I wish I could give a good review but I ordered tacos from them which I didn't receive after more than an hour and a half wait, although I'm really close by. The second time I had them on the phone about it I canceled the order.

Awesome. The food is excellent new and interesting. Plus vegan and gluten free options.
(5)Joanna B.
I had the Korean bbq tips with white rice black beans. Food was awesome so much veggies and fresh. They have great customer service too! Great ambiance and nice music!

I happen to like this place and the Kimchi Taco truck as well. The spicy pork with kimchi taco was really good as was the fried fish taco. The Korean BBQ short rib was my least favorite because it was a little chewy. The place is new and clean and I am hoping they stick around. The three tacos for 10.00 is a great deal.

What a great spot at the edge of Carroll's Garden. Great food, neat and clean interior. Good price, even considering I had to order two dishes to get enough. Very friendly staff and fast too. Definetly a huge upgrade to this corner of Brooklyn.

my fav go to for my short lunch break in this new work area 4 me love the staff the ladies always make me feel like I'm family which is awesome ;)
(4)Kwen Y.
It takes one and half hour to have the food delivered. They arrived cold and tasted nothing like korean or mexican.
(1)Alejandro S.
Amazing tacos As a Mexican, did not know what to expect from a place selling korean style tacos, but gave it a try and they are simply delicious! I would go out of my way to eat at this place again
(5)Andrew J.
The two veg. burritos are really good with the roasted veggie being the best. the taco version with roasted veggies has pomegranate seeds as well which makes it even better. i've eaten there twice and the people are as nice and friendly in person as they are on the phone when ordering delivery.
(4)Austin A.
Got the wings, fish taco, pork taco and beef taco. Thought the meet was a bit dry in the beef and pork, but other flavors were great. The wings were good but a lot of breading.

fusion food is just yummy combination! I love bothe spicy asian food and mexican food. The chef successfully combine both special taste, also they added a lot veggie in the meals. If the customers prefer the warm food, they may choose the slider or meal tend to the Korean flavor. If the customer prefer cold and fresh salad as the side, they may choose the maxican food. Although this is Korean-Mexican food, it cover wide range of customer needs. I like this restaurant, we could bring the all our friends in different age and different culture

WOW this place is delicious. Ordered lunch. The korean bbq taco, the fried chichen taco, and freid fish taco. Also ordered chicken noodles soup was feeling a bit under the weather but It was delicious. Def a must try the favors and fusion of korean with mexican is sensational. Def a must try. Unique and very tasty . The prices are great and fast delivery. I was feeling summery with heat wave today and decided to try out this place. Great choice.

Great customer service, fast service, and quality food for a good price.

This is my second time coming here and I am very impress. nice customer service, food and drink was delish. my and my friend came here a month ago and wanted to try this place out. my friend ordered Krispy fish taco and I ordered the sago drink. customer service: customer service was exceptional. a nice kind lady name Valerie was very sweet and warm hearted. she do everything with a smile. she gave us attention and showed a great deal of effort to make sure all our needs was met. food; was great, my friend describe the Krispy fish as delicious and very crunchy. he describe it as very flavorful which is a huge plus in my book . the sago drink was very refreshing, not to mention that the drink is homemade. price, is very in expensive we paid below 6.00 for all our food which was a huge plus. lets face it why go to a restaurant or establishment and pay lots of money and the food is horrible the décor is a Mexican and Asian fusion which I believe is very nice and unique so our over all experience is very nice and I would be taking be coming back here again.

So I had to take a trip to IKEA and found this place! Kimchi?! Did not expect any korean foods to be iut there in brooklyn. Had to try it with curiosity. The tacos were greater than I expected! Eventhough I really did not like the texture of fish taco. Also the cashier was the best! The girl made sure everything was alright and kept checked on each customer! I am going to visit this place again!

Korean gnocchi aka ddukbokki is good: crispy and chewy rice cake with a spicy sauce. Kimchi fries are spicy but lacked cheese. Korean fried chicken, short rib and ssam short rib were all good, grilled chicken not so much. All of the tacos need to be eaten pretty quickly as they get soggy fast due to lots of watery toppings (pickled vegs). Hibiscus agua fresca was delish!
(3)Qi G.
I really appreciate the friendly and quick service here. The interior was also very clean and spacious. Krispy Fish Taco- The fish was a bit overfried, but the toppings were great and I enjoyed it. It was very small portion however and personally, I feel that it's overpriced. Korean BBQ Beef Short Rib Burrito- It was too wet from the vegetables. I don't think the burrito would have lasted as to go order, but since I ate it fresh, it was very enjoyable. Seared Spicy Pork Kimchi Bowl- Was tasty, but I was a little disappointed with the small amount of meat. Overall, it was delicious and I would definitely reorder this again!

UPDATE 3: I ordered again and it was really great. Thinking maybe I had a fluke that first time, I ordered again tonight. Here I sit, over an hour after I ordered dinner, sans food. I called and the nice woman on the phone offered me a refund, which, while lovely, doesn't feed me dinner. It's 9:40pm at night. I didn't want to be figuring out what to do about dinner at 8:30pm when I got home from work and I really don't want to be figuring it out now. Just because you're nice doesn't mean you can have such teeeeeerrible service. Get it together.

Fish tacos were great. Taste of summer. Far better than the beef ones, and the "spicy" pork, which was the worst ones. Tried the bowl with beef, it was a pretty small portion. Slightly more meat than you get in the taco, for the entire bowl. I had it with the kimchi rice, which only lines the bottom of the bowl. They ask you if you want the kimchi rice regular, spicy or hot, I tried spicy and I must say, my mouth was burning when I finished eating that bowl. So watch out. They mean it when they say spicy. Again, the portion was odd. Not here, nor there. Not enough for dinner, but too greasy and caloric for a snack. I doubt I'll be trying any of the other bowl options. Also tried the basic kimchi to go. It was nice and fresh. Little pricy compared to a store bought kind, but was worth it. They have a few options I'm looking forward to try in the future, but the basic one was great. My order didn't take long at all, but I walked into the shop, didn't do delivery. Took them less than 10 mins to get it all set up. They're super friendly inside. Perhaps a little bored, but that's ok, clearly customer service is a priority. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu, mainly the burritos and this soup special they have posted separate from the main menu at the moment.

I have been hearing quite a rumbling of this place by my friends so I decided to check it out on a Saturday evening. Place was near the Smith-9th street train station on the F/G line. The area is pretty creepy at night but nothing a native new yawker would be intimidated by. The place is on the corner and it's nice looking. The staff is friendly and the menu pretty much gets to the point. We ordered Spicy Mexican Korean soup. Spicy pork taco, Krispy fish taco and a quesadilla. Spicy soup was pretty dam good though for the life of me I could not help to react to the spice that would stick at the back of my throat. Once I passed that I would go at the soup again! the tacos were pretty tasty. I wish they would deliver to South Slope. Good experience, good food.

I've ordered twice from this place because the concept sounds amazing to me. Both times my food was overly mushy and WAY too salty (one order was a kimchi bowl and another was a platter). I love salt, but this was not really edible/healthy and I ended up throwing the rest out. I won't bother ordering again, sadly.

It is really great that Kimchi Grill took over this dead wasteland of a corner. Restaurant is really cozy with several big picnic size tables with a nice reclaimed wood and steel look...place has a great look and feel for a gourmet taco stand. Staff was super friendly and prepped my to go order really quickly. We tried the Korean BBQ short rib big belly burrito as well as the Seared spicy pork version. Guac is actually a very reasonable $1 add on (unlike most places that charge $3) so go for it! They offer a variety of spice levels but after guidance from cashier went with extra spicy which was def the right choice....gives a nice kick but not over the top hot. The seared spicy pork burrito was definitely our favorite...really great flavor balance and lots of kimchi to to punch things up a notch. The BBQ short rib was good but hard to compare to the flavor of the pork. The short rib was a bit too sweet for me, but in fairness description tells you it has apple and pear slaw which of course will add sweetness. It was still very good and addition of guac really helped but I prefer the pork. They give you the option of white/multigrain/or kimchi fried rice (+75cents) and black beans or refried beans with infused kimchi. We just went with standard white and black just to give the basic setup a fair shake. Def didn't need any more flavors with the pork but bet the BBQ would be could with the fried rice. Portion size is what you expect for a burrito proportion wise; however, when you lift these 1 pounders you realize it is a really good value...you won't leave hungry. As noted in my tip, these are perfect for downing before hitting the Other Half Tap room a block away (or to bring with you). After this positive experience I will have to give their tacos a try. Years ago I had them from their truck in Soho and was not impressed but that was a long time ago. I am really bummed to see they don't have the Kimchi-cheesesteak they used to have at their truck...it was phenomenal and what really made them stand out from the dozens of other Korean fusion options out there these days. They would make a killing with it here as nothing like that in our hood. So in conclusion I would say a solid 4-4.5 for Kimchi Grill burritos. Give them a try!

Super solid. Friendly, very clean, food was awesome (I had the chicken burrito, bf had short rib bowl) the short rib was so amazing and my burrito hit the spot. Hard to imagine anyone coming here and being disappointed. Their media coverage speaks for how many people like their food. Their food truck won a 2014 best NYC food truck award. This location is awesome too, easy to get to from the F train and lots of parking too.

Came here on my lunch break with my coworkers.. The abuienience is really nice , order not sure what I was getting but the cashier told me that the kimichi bowls was yummy! And if defiantly was ! The fried kimichi bowl consists of fried Korean chicken, a pickled carrots and other vegetables slaw, white rice , and guacamole! Everything's made as you order! And if your not I into trying something new you can always get tacos, burrito or fried chicken! Its right on the corner of smith street !

Saam burrito with tofu was awesome. The tofu is so perfectly coated and fried. All the pickles and kim chis were great too.

This place just opened about a week ago and is I believe the second one, the original is in Prospect Heights. I tried the 3 taco special. My favorite was the fish, very crunch fried fish, tender with no bones.Dont laugh I got a fish taco about a month ago from one of those Mexican places run by Chinese folks and I nearly choked to death! The taco had a great mango salsa on top and the sweet and salty mix is my fave. The second best was the fried chicken, also very crispy but moist chicken with kimchi and spicy sauce,it was also pretty good. The third was the Short Rib taco which was short rib meat with pickled onions and creama. It was good but a step below the other too as the meat was a bit dry and gamy. I also got a side of Kimchi (it being the name and all,..) and it was a fiery dish indeed and I only asked for spicy not extra spicy, I imagine the extra spicy just eats through the container. It was very fresh tasting though and spicily addicting even if I know Im gonna pay for this later. Delivery was way faster than the Grub Hub estimate (dont you love when that happens?) Update: After a very good delivery start the delivery has been longer and longer each time. Many times going over an hour and last time girl admitted that he had "a few more in the area" and since food arrived cold I assume they are waiting to get a few orders before sending him out. The food is great but it has gotten put on our back burner or we just place order at like 11am. Sad and deducting a star from original review until they get their act straight.

Korean fusion seems to be a the rage now and this place does Korean/Mexican very well. Absolutely love the food here. I usually get the three for ten dollar taco deal. Beef short rib, BBQ pork, edamame falafel, fish and the chicken. All great! Had the nachos which are very good and the quesadilla which I highly recommend. Initially I didn't think it (quesadilla) was for me, I'm not a big provolone fan but mixed with goat cheese and topped with kimchi, takes it to another place, I always suggest people try it. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. There's an extensive gluten free menu and they make fresh drinks which are really good.

We had ordered almost 60 dollars worth of food... never again. The food came in very ungenerous portions, the food was bland and flavorless. The chicken wings reminded me of a bad chinese take out general tso's chicken. This place has lots to learn, this is a sad knock off to the Korilla BBQ food truck.
(1)Tina M.
First ate at their food truck last year and it was delicious, so when I saw the restaurant on a random Saturday trip to Ikea, I knew I had to stop in. Love the 3 for $10 taco deal. You can't go wrong with BBQ beef or the fish tacos. Great service too- they have some really nice people employed!
(5)James O.
Ordered the beef short rib kimchi bowl, pork kimchi bowl and some tacos. It felt pretty cold by the time it got here and they forgot to put everything in the bag, I called them to tell them and they guy said "oh well I'll speak to my manager and we might send it out".......... The tacos were good but the kimchi bowls were pretty bland and the amount of meat we got with each one was very small. Probably won't be eating here again.

Ok So I have mixed feelings on this place. On one hand, I really enjoyed the food. i've never really had anything "kimchi" before so i was really excited for the experience. The food was super yummy. On the other hand the delivery took over an hour to get to me and it was sort of warm when I got it. I am less than a mile away and the delivery person drove, so I am not quite sure why it took so long. Also, when the delivery arrived he called me instead of getting out of the car and knocking on the door. When I got to the door he sat in his car for a good minute while i looked at him and waited for him to get out and bring it to me. I would definitely eat there again, but next time I'll probably go in or just pick it up myself.

We went to the outpost in Gowanus. The casual small eatery of the famed Kimchi truck. You know it screams hipster when there is vegan and gluten free options. The bright and friendly girl at the counter took our order and they bring it out when done. The spicy Korean 'gnocchi' was really just fried rice cakes. The Korean Arancini is fun take on the Italian one. We shared the krispy fish, spicy pork and tofu $10 deal. It was a good enough portion for a light lunch to share. I like the battered fish(not too greasy). The pork needed more spice. The Tofu was probably the best of the three. While the name may say Kimchi. I found a lack of Kimchi in any of the dishes to my disappointment. I love Kimchi and missed it.

The worst I've had yet... We literally threw it out and I was hungry from not eating all day..plus it smelled like garbage, I'm not exaggerating. I wish o can get my money back..never again
