Getting in was a little weird in my mind (have to go in the side door into the bar) but the food was the best I've had in a while, prices weren't too bad, and the service was pretty good.

It can be hit or miss. Some nights the food is really good and others the food is sloppy and poorly made. The pizza is always pretty good. I much prefer take-out rather than sitting in the noisy bar room. Overall, it's the closest and most decent place to eat in Dryden besides the Chinese restaurant.

Meh. Very difficult to find a vegan or vegetarian option. First the up side. The fried pickles were enjoyed by everyone at the table. My partner had the grilled prime rib (they grill up the left over prime rib from the Sunday special) and he thought it was great. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was excellent. The cook got a couple of orders wrong, and they had to be sent back to the kitchen, but the waitress dealt with it graciously. Everything else we got was kind of ordinary diner food. I got the Turkey Reuben. The meat was clearly processed, not cooked on site. There was very little sauerkraut and it was pretty under whelming. The iceburg salad was one of the worst I've had. The lettuce was kind of yellow and chopped into unwieldy chunks.

We've always enjoyed the breakfasts here but dinners have been inconsistent until recently. They've revamped their menu and even make an effort at presentation now. The paninis are particularly good.

I tried this place when I was staying up in Ithaca. Ate here with my boyfriend, his friends, and their wives. I got the turkey melt, which was delicious. The drinks were good, and although we were sitting in the restaurant section, there were TVs everywhere so my boyfriend could follow the football game. Even though there's a large bar section, and it got very crowded at one point, the noise level wasn't having me raise my voice to have a conversation (one of my constant gripes about bars in NYC). However one member of our party ordered a burger, and they brought her out the wrong one. Twice. That's a kind of big oversight to make, even if the place is crowded. But their onion rings and their turkey melt panini tasted great, so I can't complain any further than that.

Great watering hole. Most of the bartenders are friendly and attentive. Food is great 90% of the time. Prices are a refreshing alternative to Ithaca sports bars.
