I love both the food and the people that own this place. They always give me a warm welcome when I stop by and are lively conversationalists. Their rotisserie chicken (Pollo a la Brasa) is consistenly tender and juicy and I would especially recommend it with their spicy green sauce. I would also recommend the Salchipapas appetizer. But the best by far is their Peruvian specialty Lomo Saltado - juicy sliced steak over seasoned rice and vegetables. It's a very small place so not great for eat-in, but service is very fast so it's great for take out!

This place must be under new management based on the reviews because my food was half assed. I ordered a lamb gyro cajun fries and garlic knots. Theres a ten dollar minimum plus an extra delivery charge. The lettuce on the gyro was wilted and black around the edges. The fries were not crispy or spicy but they charge four bucks for then. The white sauce was rancid. They need to revamp their menu and cook only what they know how to cook which is Peruvian food not italian or greek. Oh and the garlic knots were just balls of hard though no oil or garlic. I'll give them one more chance if they actually serve something worth eating.

I Love this little place!! They have great food and inexpensive choices. The Chicken is one of the best of NYC and the other peruvian dishes are amazing!! (Lomo Saltado, papa a la huancaina, anticuchos, ceviches, chicha morada). I understand they started as a pizza place, but the family is peruvian and they decided to add some peruvian dishes in the menu and I'm glad they did. Their pizza is very good too, but I think the peruvian dishes are taking over of the Pizza. Come and support this little place in heaven and get to know the owners, they are very nice and friendly people and any time I come here to eat just leave with a big smile in my face. :-)

I ate here almost every day. Great food, large portion and cheap. The people working here are very nice and friendly. I think their Roasted Chicken and the green sauce is the best in hood.

I agree. The peruvian food here is really tops. I had their papa a la huancaina and it is authentic and delicious. The aji is spicy and fresh. I will definitely be coming here to satisfy my peruvian food cravings.

We went here based on Junot Diaz's column in Grubstreet, and I'm glad we did. I never would have known it served Peruvian food. The Lomo Saltado was perfectly seasoned, with salty marinated strips of steak, thick cut fries and onions over rice. It was the best thing we ordered. The servers were friendly and efficient. The only seating consists of window ledges, so this isn't great for groups. They deliver as well.

This is my second review of this great little place. I originally wrote my review and really focused on the pizza more because i am so happy that i don't have to go on a hunt for some good tasting crunchy pizza. That said i have been sampling the peruvian dishes that are made there. What can i say? It is just like visiting my Peruvian Grandma right around meal time. OK, I dont have a Peruvian Grandma or any Grandma any longer. I love the variety of flavors in their peruvian chicken and rice. I feel good after i et it too. "Not bloated like Ray Liota. The truth is that there is so much good food in the city and that is all great. Personally i would rather have the same quality/tasting food locally and i don't need the fancy decor. Simple, good, fair price, and i like the fact that i am supporting a local family owned business of which i must say- The owners are Awesome people! Now Go... run... hurry before it's all gone!

I don't know how this place can have both delicious pizza and delicious Peruvian food. This is the second time I've ordered pizza from them and it's been fantastic both times- cooked perfectly, thin crust and not greasy at all. The ceviche was outstanding!!! Seriously, it's some of the best I ever had and you can order it as spicy as you like. The green sauce is a must too. They're very friendly over the phone- I don't speak Spanish and typically when I call other local places, I get a lot of attitude but not here. Very helpful and friendly. Call about the lunch specials.

Moved to the area in April. Came across this place and haven't looked back. I was unsure what to get when a pizza joint advertises for Peruvian food also. I'm a foodie, and like to eat well. Honestly, I have had pizza, burgers, roast chickens, and a variety of Peruvian food. Wether it is pick-up or delivery, the food always taste amazing. The owners are super friendly, and just want to make good home cooked food for the public. These people know how to make food taste amazing! Next time you are in the area, your choice is clear.

this place is ok. got the roasted chicken. it was kind of salty. i think pio^2 is better but this is a good option if you're pining for chicken in this area. service was fast and friendly.

Since the delivery guy was nice and fast, I will give this place 1 star. I ordered a cheese pizza. In one word: gross. It tasted old like it'd been sitting there all day; there was hardly any sauce and the cheese was hard like government cheese.

I've ordered takeout from here several times now. Delivery is consistently fast and somehow each time I order rice, my go to dish, they manage to pack in more than the previous time. Tonight the top was literally bulging.

I got the lomo saltado and the papa a la huancaina. I ordered through seamlessweb and received the order very quickly. The food was delicious! I have eaten lomo saltado dozens of times and this one was one of the best. The papa la huancaina was decent. I will definitely try some of the other dishes, like the ceviche and the chicken. I'm not sure why the pizza is part of the restaurant, but it seems like the Peruvian dishes are the main attraction.

The food is great, the prices are great, and the people are great. Their pizza is excellent, but check out their soups and Peruvian dishes as well. They have some very delicious and inexpensive choices. This is a great small family establishment well worth supporting. The owners are very friendly and happy to accommodate. Come get something to eat already :)

4 stars for the pizza and chicken rolls. Really good and solid. 5 stars for the Peruvian food so I rounded up... I think they made a mistake calling it Best Lexington Pizza because their Peruvian food is delicious. I usually get a chicken w/ rice or french fries. They have that yummy spicy green sauce you find at other Peruvian places. I like it as much as Pio Pio. And it's really inexpensive. Half chicken w/ rice is $8 total. 1/4 chicken w/ rice is like $5 or $6 I think. They also have a dish called Lomo Saltado which is grilled steak/beef slices that rocks and could make for 2 meals. There are lots of other dishes that I still need to try. The place is really small with a few stools by the window. Good for a quick bite of quality food. I usually get takeout though since I live 2 blocks away. Please try this place. The owners are really nice and I'd like to keep this awesome food option to continue to be available to me. It's my go to place to refuel after my central park runs and is down the block from the 103rd Street 6 train. It's in between El Aguila and the Lexington Social. I love how my options in the hood continue to get better and better :)

I order Peruvian food from this place a lot and always wanted to try the Papas a la huanicaina. Finally today I did, and I gotta say I was very disappointed. It looked so good in the picture, but it's basically boiled potatoes with the yellow sauce on top and half a boiled egg for $7! I could kill for some salt and pepper right now, it's so bland! And they forgot to put the bed of lettuce underneath the potatoes, which would've made it look nicer. I'm not sure if this is the authentic way to have this dish in Peru but I think considering the ingredients it shouldn't be $7.00. I hate giving bad reviews, especially because this place is on point with their chicken! And the owner is as nice person, but I won't be getting this dish again :( I wish I could only review this one dish I'd give it 0 stars, but like I said they have amazing other dishes like the chicken and green Peruvian sauce. So this 1 star is only for the papas a la huanicaina.

This place is very small but they have very big menu. I love their burgers, they are amazing. Real beef and delicious flavor. Will be back for more.

GREAT PERUVIAN FOOD! You would never guess this place serves great peruvian food because it looks like a hole in the wall pizza joint. They should honestly quit making pizza and american food and just focus on what they are good at! I only ever order the roast chicken (pollo braso) with green spicy sauce, the sauteed steak dish (lomo saltado), and the sauteed brocolli. All very good. But I do want to try their ceviches which I heard was good too. The business is run by a local family and they are always so nice and friendly with customers. Highly recommend!

Yo-Yo-Yo,the burger was sooooo Fxxking good. Gonna go get it again.love it so much.and the steaks was good too.

Got half a chicken with rice and greens. This was a huge portion and very tasty, especially with their green sauce. Also got their buffalo wings, which were kind of oily and not really worth it.

Now THAT'S what I call a hidden gem. The name of this business gives absolutely no clue as to what it does best: Peruvian food! The whole chicken is the best we're had, juicier and more flavorful than Pio Pio and Flor de Mayo. The delivery person has one of those insulated bags so the food arrived incredibly hot. The Peruvian fried rice was also delicious. My wife thought it was a bit too salty, though. The green sauce that comes with the chicken is a little thicker and spicier than what I've had previously. I have no idea if their pizza is good, but really, who cares?
(5)brownie c.
Probably best pizza in the hood and best price...but the real gem is the chicken ...try the chicken soup when it's cold and roasted chicken and rice
(5)Brian M.
If you come here for the pizza, you must be one of those complete IGNORANT (despite the name of this place) idiots who think Pasta rules the world (NOPE it DOES NOT).Don't come here for the Italian dishes, but DO come here for the Chaufas (Peruvian-style Fried Rice) and the Pollo a la Brasa (Peruvian Roasted Chicken)!! Prices are CHEAP and the food IS GREAT. Service is friendly and down-to-earth. You order from the counter, sit down by the window and wait for your food, and food is brought to you. They have Inca Kola and Chicha Bruja (Purple Corn Drink) as well. Will definitely be a regular here soon along with El Aguila Taqueria which is literally right next to this place!! YUM!! Credit Cards Accepted!!

Best, most tastiest, fresh fried rice this part of town. Really can't beat this yowwwsas. I'll def be ordering from here as my local go-to spot ;) - egg & chicken peruvian fried rice - peruvian roasted chicken - garlic toast - wings

The full name of this place is "Best Lexington Pizza & Peruvian Food". I did not try the pizza, but the Peruvian food is actually not bad and authentic. I chose the Tallarin Salteado, which I'd never had before. It was similar to Lomo Salteado (which I have had) except it has spaghetti instead of rice. It was very tasty - pieces of steak stir fried with onions and tomatoes. It had a nice strong garlic taste to it. The portion was a little smaller than I would have liked but that is because I am a pig. It was great washed down with an Inca Kola. They have pollo a la brasa too.

I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but if you want a peruvian-style roasted chicken meal, Pio Pio is your place, not here. The chicken itself was comparable to Pio, but more bland and skimpier pieces. The green sauce is not even close to how good Pio's is. Pretty disappointing. Also, my order took an hour and 20 to arrive.
