This was the first place I went to once I moved to Pearl River, and it is the place I visit most here. The bagels are excellent, lots of variety, and great sandwiches, too. Also very important: they make great coffee! They have a line that looks crazy at times but it moves quickly, even for the morning rush.

One of the best deli's in pearl river! They have a huge sandwhich selection that is very cost affordable. Make sure to go early if you are going for lunch because many of the high school students hang here and it can be a zoo!

Great place to have a quick breakfast, the bagels were hot and tasty.

I thought the hand-sliced nova option was gimmicky... until my first bite. The salmon is rich, velvety and delicious. Bagels are boiled on premises and are equally good. More than good. I will definitely return. Coffee is good but the tea is old school. By that I mean they serve Lipton and Lipton only, a not-so-charming throwback to the 1870s or the Soviet Union. Guys: get some flavored teas to wash down those excellent bagels and you'll have a perfect combination.

Nice guys, good bagels. Can get quite busy at times, and the price isn't always a bargin. You can do better, I've learned, if you're willing to do some of the work and you're feeding the crew. (Or just the ravenous vampire you picked up at the gin mill last night...) in other words, you want "everything" bagel with scallion cream cheese (or lox spread you high roller) you're up into the 4-5 buck range. BUT, get a half dozen various bagels and a half pint of spread; now you've only spent $11. Not exactly sure how the new math works, but it does... as long as you have a knife or a spatula and a toaster or oven or microwave. Youz want one bagel? You're covered. Youz want a feast for your hungover house guests and the neighbors' giraffe? Also covered. Plenty of other cooked sandwiches and other menu items... but I've never gotten that far. Buy in bulk and toast your own; the quality and service is there.

Best bagels in a Rockland & better than any in Bergen County for that matter. Look forward to going to PR and stopping at Zimi's for a dozen every time I'm In the area.

Best bagels in town. Their muffins and coffee are also outstanding.

Bagels are awesome. Best around. Great fresh cream cheese options. For sandwiches I prefer Luigi O'Gradys.

Great bagels and sandwiches! The bagels are big, fluffy and fresh! If I lived closer this would be my bagel place of choice! Its impressive that the have maintained their great quality over so many years!

My favorite bagels in the county. I love that the sandwiches come with a cookie. And their chocolate chip muffins are to die for. (I clearly have a sweet tooth) I only go to Zimi for my bagels. Whenever I go elsewhere, I'm disappointed.

Zimi in Nanuet has great food and the staff is nice. The only real problem I have with them is that they always get my order wrong. When I order right off the menu, they always forget something that is listed. This usually happens with breakfast platters. Today my southwestern omelet did not have the has browns and there was no cheese on the omelet (yuck). Without fail, every time I order something, there is an ingredient or piece missing. I just paid 9 bucks for an egg and a bagel. Not cool.

I am not a fan. Perhaps I'm spoiled because I live in NYC and have access to better bagels (hello Brooklyn), but these bagels totally fall short! Whenever I come here and get a flat bagel (you guys call them flagels) it's always very doughy and super chewy, even while toasted. When in Rockland I'd prefer to make the drive to Nyack Bagels or Bagel Boys in Nanuet.

Tasty bagels especially with the red onion and bacon cream cheese.

there is nothing exceptional about the appearance of this place, but they make magic inside..the magic? their bagels...i've been to absolute and oasis, both 4 1/2 stars...ess-a-bagel.4 stars...h&h & david,3 stars...but zimi is unequivocabally 5 stars...i only wish it were closer or they had a version closer...love-love-love their bagels....if you're ever out that way,so will you...

Been here dozens of times to pick up bagels. Compared to what many places call a "bagel" Zimi is head and shoulders above. A little on the larger size with a good taste and "chew." Generally speaking the staff is extra friendly, although today I had a counterperson who was -- no other way to put it -- a jerk. Maybe the guy was having a bad day but to cop an attitude with a customer who asks for 6 bagels in a bag is bad for business. I'll go back but one more encounter like today and I'll find a new place for bagels.
