Service:: I called to find out about take out...I told the hostess I was double marked and just wanted to know before looking for parking. She told me to stay... She came out with the menu..and took my order!! Soooo awesome!! Food: I went with the steak quesadilla and shrimp tacos! Double awesome!!! I will most definitely go back!!

It was a great and simple dining experience. The service was excellent. We went on a groupon and only paid $35 which included sangria, shared appetizer, and 2 entrees. The sangria was sweet and delicious. The food was very good and filling. There were only 2 servers that we could tell but they were very attentive. They have a great happy hour as well! Will def revisit :)

I've actually been to Cabo a few times already, at this point. What are the pros & cons? PROS: - Plenty of parking: If you're coming by car, this is a great neighborhood to grab a spot. You can even grab one right out front! - Service: Whenever I've stopped here, for dinner usually, I've had nothing but great service. - Food: I think the food is AMAZING! Even though I tend not to eat pork, I had the Gordita de Carnitas recently. The pork was succulent, the masa cake was EVERYTHING, and the ranchero style beans are the way beans SHOULD be done. CONS: - Public transportation: The only way to get out to Throgs Neck is via bus or a taxi. - Menu variety: I wish there were more variety on the menu, in terms of entrees. I think it might be a bit limited. However, less choices might be great for others. - The tortilla chips you tend to get served once you sit down aren't always all THAT fresh. Overall, a great place to dine out whether alone or with friends!

Ugh, this place was such a huge disappointment. I recently went out with the girls and we just weren't digging it. First off, I am short and the table which they gave us had very tall stools and apparently no other tables were available. I literally had to ask for a stool from the back which were the only ones with a backside in order to sit. It looks ok, nothing special at all, what I did like was that we sat by the open doors in the front. Our hostess was very nice, very attentive so kudos to her. The drinks SUCKED!!!!! SMH No, liquor in them, we returned drinks and the next ones sucked too. We had the sangria which tasted like an apple fruit drink, my mojito ehhh, coconut tasted old. I forget the other one we tried. We tried appetizers first. The guacamole with pork belly, ummm that's not chicharron as they told us, it is literally pieces of bacon on top of guacamole, honestly nothing special. The guacamole relleno, hmmm it was literally an open guacamole with grab meat in it that was difficult to eat because everything kept coming out of the guacamole. It tasted ok but nah. After tasting the appetizers we opted to not eat dinner there. We had fun because it was us girlies but honestly I wouldn't return, just didn't do it for me.

Walked in on a Thursday during happy hour. I asked for a happy hour menu and the waiter said they didn't have one yet which was cool but the waiter wasn't sure what drinks were half off during happy hour. I ordered the house Margarita and a white sangeria and it was all juice. I ordered a frozen margarita that wasnt on the happy hour list and it was watered down. I ordered guacamole with chips and the guacamole was not fresh and a little black. The look and the taste of the guacamole was enough for me to not order any more food and just get the check. A friend told me about this place and said it was decent. Now she owes me.

I went to Cabo yesterday 8/9/15 with my bff and her mom for brunch. I must say we had a wonderful time. The food was very good and the staff was very accommodating. The only issue I had was the somewhat cramped space. We had the unlimited white sangria and it was the best I've had any where. The tres leche was so good we ordered some for home. I definately will be back.

Oh, where to begin. My friends had a voucher they purchased that was about to expire, so they invited us out for a midweek dinner. My husband and I have never been here before and I'm quite reluctant of the businesses on E. Tremont, just because of past experiences with service, food, etc. My girlfriend made reservations for 7pm and when we arrived, I was pleased to see that it was pretty busy. Usually, the restaurants we have visited in this area are dead AF. My friends arrived before and were already seated when we arrived. We sat and it took quite some time before anyone even gave us water. The sole server for the entire dining room came and finally took our drink and food orders. My friends shared the Aguacate Relleno, which was decent. Hubby and I had the Empanadas de Limito which was stuffed with filet mignon and cheese. It was tasty and was paired with a cilantro crema. Our appetizers took about thirty minutes to arrive to the table. It was crazy. The place got packed within minutes of our arrival and let me reiterate; there was only ONE girl taking everyone's order and working the tables AND host podium. My first drink order was wrong but my friend took it and I got a corrected drink. We waited equally long for our entrées and even longer for our next round of drinks. My girlfriend ordered the Carnitas which she enjoyed, my husband and friend ordered fajitas which were also good. My Skirt Steak Tampiqueño, on the other hand, was abysmal. It is one of the more expensive dishes yet the amount of food did not reflect that. The amount of meat on the plate could not have cost more than four dollars, retail; I just bought a fifteen dollar skirt steak to cook at home and it's enough for three people to eat, for two filling meals. My steak was supposed to be served with a Shrimp Guacamole which translated to a tablespoon of guac with a single cooked shrimp, perched atop. There was more rice and black bean pureé on the plate than there was meat; it was a true disappointment. Had it not been a voucher meal, I would have sent it back and left right then and there. By this time, we were still waiting for our second round of drinks and we finally had to ask the server why, on such a busy night, were they so understaffed. We really could not blame her because the problem was an obvious lack of preparation on the part of the managers/owners. She explained that they aren't usually that busy on a weeknight and that this particular night was an anomaly. At one point, as we waited for our entrées, my friend had to get up and find the manager to complain. At the same time, another table got up to retrieve their bill because it was taking so long to have it brought to the table. An owner finally came by to see how our meal was going and we were very vocal about how disappointing our dining experience was. I offered him a suggestion, of having ample staff, especially when the expiration of a voucher is approaching. He apologized and at least, our guys finally got their second round taken off the bill. My friend had given his phone to the server so that the discount could be applied to our bill and he waited for her to return his phone for, just as long as we waited for our food. We paid the bill and still had not had his phone returned to him. He had to get up and retrieve it himself; the server found one phone which was not his, and had to search for his phone, out of a small collection of five patron's phones. It was a cluster-f*ck. By the time we finished eating, it began to clear out. Another friend of mine arrived for dinner with her boyfriend and I gave them tips on what not to order and warned them they would be waiting for a long time. Later in the evening, she texted me that they were waiting just as long for their food. Very unfortunate. Maybe having drinks at the bar would not be so bad but TBH, I probably won't go back.

Got 2 carry out burritos for lunch, one chicken, one pork. Both burritos were tasty, filling, and a good value for the lunchtime price. The burritos had a generous portion of well seasoned meat, black beans, rice, avocado, and sour cream on the side. I'll go back for the burritos. The one thing keeping this from being a 4* review was the side salad which was included with the burritos. Served with a tasty raspberry vinaigrette, the salad could have been delicious, but most of the greens were very wilted and inedible. Get fresher greens and Cabo will be a real winner for lunch in the area.

Honestly, I really don't like writing negative reviews. I make it a point to go into an establishment with an open mind hoping to get the absolute best experience. But in this case the absolute best did not happen. I have been to Cabo on several occasions for their bar scene, which has never disappointed. When ordering a drink I keep it simple, and most times I'll have a glass of wine so there's never any problems there. The decor has a little of that purple neon Don Coqui-esque lighting that almost every new restaurant I have been to in the Bronx or Westchester area seems to have, which is fine as that hued lighting provides a nice ambience. On this one particular Sunday morning, we decided to try out their brunch. Upon arriving, the hostess, that looked all of a mere 18 years old, just didn't seem happy to be there. Her demeanor wasn't pleasant at all. No smile upon us entering, no welcoming hello, just a look of unhappiness. Maybe it was too early at 12:00pm or maybe that's just how she looks. Now, on the other hand, and what gave this restaurant their two and a half stars was our waiter Ryan and the other servers. Ryan was the complete opposite of our 'resting unhappy face', hostess. He was pleasant and attentive, as well as the other servers/managers that constantly checked on us and kept our mimosa glasses full. Ryan took our orders, mine was the Camarones de Benny, which was described as a sweet cornmeal muffin, with grilled shrimp, poached eggs, topped with a salsa verde sauce. The menu description showed a great spin on the original eggs benedict, and I thought what an interesting combination!? My beau ordered the hamburger with chorizo. After a pretty long wait, I received my order and the Camarones de Benny that arrived was nothing compared to the menu description. It arrived lukewarm and consisted of not a sweet corn muffin, but a cold, untoasted English Muffin. If you're going to revert to an english muffin then at least toast it! What a disappointment! In addition to the missing corn muffin, the salsa verde sauce was on the verge of cold and started to congeal on top of the poached eggs, yuck!! And to add to the unpleasantness one of the poached eggs had a hard yolk and the other egg had no yolk at all!!! Where did the yolk go?? What a mess!!! My beaus hamburger had a smear of chorizo, I guess you could describe it that way, as the chorizo was similar to maybe a pate. The hamburger was warm and not hot, but was pretty tasty with the added chorizo. It would've given this place an additional half star if it was at least hot. It seemed they held our plates back waiting for the french fries, that came with the burger because the fries were piping hot. Though the restaurant has been a great addition to the neighborhood, and is a great spot for a quick drink, on this particular brunch Sunday, the food presented did not impress and was mediocre. I won't be doing brunch here for awhile, but may try their lunch when the kitchen shouldn't be too overwhelmed. Ambience: 2.5 Food: 1.0 Service: 2.5 Cost: 4.0 (with online promo) Rating: 2.5

OMG!! The Service, the food, the décor, the ambiance... and the waiters/bus boys were HOT! Too..just a little extra...

Great new place!! They have a variety of Mexican beers and $5 happy hour on select drinks including Margaritas and Sangria. I tried the Jalapeño Margarita and it was just the right amount of spiciness level. They have interesting cocktails! I was here on a Sunday but missed their unlimited brunch which ends at 4pm, so I'd like to return to check that out. I love the modern decor and color changing lighting all throughout the restaurant. It had a beach-like feel to it. I originally wanted to come here bc they are affiliated with Havana Cafe which I love! They did not disappoint. In addition, the crowd was classier and more mature than the place next door. FYI, they have TVs so no worries about missing any games. I do not venture to the Bronx often but def returning to come here. Thumbs up :)

Our server Alyssa was really good. We had the Livingsocial brunch deal for 4 people so we got 2 apps, 4 entrees and 2 desserts. Food was decent although some things were a little over salted. Churros were a bit dense. Overall not bad for Throgs Neck.

The bx is just full of surprises! When i saw that this place recently opened up I immediately knew that I had to check it out and I don't even live in the bx. Luckily, we visited this place during their first weekend serving brunch. Score!!! Then we were informed that they offer unlimited sangrias or mimosas for 2 hours and it is only $8 as part of their brunch deal. Um ok, best deal ever! Afterwards, we looked at our food options and everything seemed appetizing, it was hard to decide what I wanted to eat. Our bartender suggested the french toast and she knew what she was talking about. I tend to go for the burger or the huevos rancheros but this slight change was not disappointing. I left this place extremely content and know that i will be returning at some point. The staff also helped create a welcoming environment by being attentive and holding a top notch service. The space itself is very fancy and cute, perfect for any special occasion. I do have to point out that the sangria was not the best sangria I've ever had but it went well with my meal. It would of been extremely disappointing if i could not have taken advantage of their unlimited sangria option. I have left other establishments dissatisfied over the lack of their sangria skills. That was not the case here, but it wasn't a memorable to die for alcoholic drink either. Overall, nice addition to the bx and will hopefully be visiting them very soon.

Been here twice for brunch and have loved it both times.. The staff is very polite and helpful... They have a DJ playing music which was cool... Food is definitely on point... Probably my favorite brunch spot in the Bronx now

I'm happy to say that Cabo met and exceeded my expectations. Cabo is more than a beautifully decorated restaurant, it's excellent dining with attentive service and moderate price tag. We arrived for dinner early Saturday evening and was immediately seated at a booth. Then had glasses full of cold water and salsa and chips within a couple of minutes. Our meal: 1 Perfect Margarita (Fruity & tasty) 1 Cabo Margarita (Pretty purple drink but strong. A Must try for the ladies & gents!) A guacamole plate ( very tasty!) 1 carnitas plate ( I did not share=) 1 Steak plata with beans, rice, guac and much more Everything we ordered was fresh and well prepared. I highly recommend the margaritas. It's hard to find well mixed margaritas; these were a wonderful even blend of tequila & other delicious ingredients. The steak and pork were cooked with the right amount of seasoning and very tender. Service was on point and made sure we were happy with our meals. Kept our glasses full, gave plenty of salsa and very pleasant to interact with. I hope Cabo keeps up the great work and maintains a beautiful dining spot in the Throgss Neck area. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu!

Food and service was AMAZING! small spot with great food. We purchased a Groupon deal for brunch and an additional $8 per person we rcvd unlimited delicious Sangria's. The waitress asked for our order and said if we were not satisfied with our eals they would be more than happy to switch our dish( very nice of them).
(5)D C.
Such a disappointment! This is from a Sunday brunch. Pros: Alyssa (waitress) was extremely nice. Decor of the restaurant was really nice. Bartender was very friendly. Cons: Mimosa tasted alright Sangria tasted like sunny d *how sad* The food was ehhh, Spanish restaurant but it needed some flavor. But for real, I had higher expectations for the food! Sorry guys, I was not impressed at all. I will NOT be coming because the food was a let down and the drinks were watered down, by a lot.

Came here on a random Monday to try a new place and it was close to home. Ordered the mixed fajita platter and my husband ordered a special which was the churrasco. The fajitas were ok. Nothing to rave over and my husband didn't finish his food which is telling. At the recommendation of one of the owners we tried the Rum Punch Sangria. He said it was his favorite drink and really good. It tasted like a sex on the beach with no liquor. Just pure juice. We took one sip and didn't bother finishing the drink. We got two coronas instead which they gave on the house and also removed the sangrias from our bill which was nice. The waitress was nice and the owner was super attentive but overall not sure if we would return here.
(3)Alex M.
Charles will most definitely take care of you. There night time service is the best in Throggsneck. Their drink are what everyone needs at the end of a work day. The food is great. So stoked to have this place around the corner !!

Great Cinco de Mayo at Cabo BX! You can pick from a pre-fix menu for $35 for complete meal with many choices or what we did, I opted for the $2 tacos, which I ordered the chorizo, chicken and carnitas each one was spectacular, and seasoned just right!! My partner had the shrimp Tostados that was so fresh, so good and satisfying! Of course we had to take advantage of their $3 drink special and had a couple rounds of frozen lime Margherita and the Tamarindo Margherita! These were like a fiesta in our mouth! The great food along with our awesome servers, appropriate music and Mexican ambiance we are calling Cabo's the 2015 "Best Cinco de Mayo" fiesta in the Bronx!! Make sure you get over their tonight!
(5)Angelic P.
Came to Cabo with my boyfriend on a Saturday for brunch. Only 8$ for unlimited mimosas or sangria. I had the churrasco quesadilla with was great. The staff overheard it was my birthday and came over n sang. Waitress n busboy were both very attentive. Overall, had a great birthday brunch.
(5)Dariana M.
Amazing food, excellent service, and beautiful decor. Went there for my cousin's birthday dinner and she had an amazing time. Will be going back!
(5)Charles S.
The staff was so attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the decor was beautiful. Will definitely be back!!! 6 stars!
(5)Nelson N.
The place is great food and drinks are awsone the only down fall was that the waiter was taking a long time especially after I pay just to get the receipt waiter to long but its not her faults imagine there was more then 20 ppl in the restaurant and she was the only waiter poor girl but besides that little incident I'll recommend this place ohh and there group on deal is fabulous take advantage.....
(3)Abe C.
Friendly staff... Prompt service. Came for brunch and food did not disappoint. Good place for a quick meal.

The BRONX has been home for me for the past 40 years and I've eaten just about every cuisine The Bronx has to offer and Mexican is one of my favorite foods. I took my sister for a Sunday birthday brunch here at Cabo Restaurant Mexican cuisine after reading the reviews and checking the place out. I ordered a steak quesadilla mixed with scrambled eggs...Simple but really tasty. The mimosas and sangria are included and are unlimited for the brunch menu. Although we sat at the bar for our brunch we enjoyed the food and the deco ambiance. We will be back for dinner next time hopefully at the dinner table.
(4)Misha E.
I visited Cab on 5/8/15 for after work drinks and appetizers with co-workers. Happy Hour is 3-7pm. They had $5 margaritas and sangrias. The red sangria was really good. I also had the white sangria which was not as good as the red but good nonetheless. My co-workers had the cabo margarita which they enjoyed. However, I did not enjoy it because there was way too much salt on the rim which fell into the drink. Next time I'll ask for it with no salt. I had the shrimp quesadilla which was delicious. They also served complimentary chips with green and red salsa. The green salsa was great. The red salsa was bland. The restaurant is slightly small but a nice space. Our waiter was nice and attentive. I really enjoyed Cabo and will return.
(4)Walter M.
Gotta love the Bronx. I heard this place just opened up and its so close to home that I had to check it out. Arrived in time for their brunch which I believe is 8$ unlimited mimosa and sangria for two hours. I opted for their specialty bottled beers from Mexico (not sure what their draft selection consist of). Started it off with their chili devil beer which had a jalapeno in my glass giving it a nice kick to it. To go along my beer, I had the burger from their brunch menu and it was very tasty. The fries however were a bit too salty for me. The decor is very modern with colorful lighting, but my favorite is the shaved ice along bar. Perfect place to have your pint of beer rest, keeping it nice and cold. Plenty of TVs near the bar but not too many to take away from the loungey atmosphere. A great addition to the bronx, will be coming back for more.
(4)Andy P.
Food: 3 Ambience: 1 Service:4 We entered and ours were assaulted by club like levels of music, my girlfriend was next to me and I could not hear her telling me that our hostess was showing us our table. Our waiter was polite which was good. The appetizer which was the chorizo nachos were pretty good but the entrées were bad my steak was dry and sweet plantains were too greasy, not to mention my margarita was horrible. Left with a headache and some hearing loss...would not go back.
(2)Lisa A.
Had lunch here on Saturday, Tortilla Soup, delicious and beautiful. Camarones a la Diablo - amazing!!!
(4)Maurice L.
What a party? Spent almost four hours at this joint. It was the most pleasurable relaxing mid-week experience. The manager Oscar is very friendly and I really enjoyed Irma's perfectly poured cocktails. There was a live DJ ALL night.

Great Pineapple Margarita ... Quick date night turned into romantic night ... Music & atmosphere on point

It Breaks my heart to write this negative review of Cabo. I was the first to review this restaurant back in July and yes, it WAS a GLOWING REVIEW! Unfortunately, the same can not be said about my recent experience there. I feel the need to update this review as my Valentine's Day experience was TERRIBLE. I thank the heaven's for my wonderful boyfriend so at least his company made this date wonderful. Let me make it clear.. we did not go for dinner. We went for BRUNCH. This was our first time trying their brunch and we were excited and optimistic! We started with the Empanadas... as we have in the past and the disappointment began... the pastry was too thick, the empanada was not hot, the meat inside was very dry and over cooked. I wouldn't be surprised if they were pre-cooked and microwaved to order. Although we were disappointed we didn't send them back. We ate them. I also ordered a frozen lime margarita.. the waitress warned me that it may be bitter and I was ok with that. I mean isn't LIME a little bitter? Well, that was not the problem... It was SO OVER SWEET IT WAS BITTER! They used way too much sugar and the color was artificial green?!?! I have no idea what happened to the delicious frozen margaritas I've had in the past but THAT WAS NOT IT! The worst part was my dish. I ordered the Churros Cabo. It was described as "sweet and crispy churros, fried eggs, double cut smoked bacon, tequila-maple syrup". I GOT NO SUCH DISH! My churros weren't crispy... my churros were ROCK HARD and DRY! My eggs weren't fried... they were WELL DONE and DRY! I imagined warm, crispy churros with egg yolk running down them... DIDN'T HAPPEN! There was NO TEQUILA MAPLE SYRUP! Seriously people... this dish was as dry as eating a fork full of SAND and it had ZERO FLAVOR! I took one bite and had to send it back! Thankfully, the waitress was kind enough to bring me burger in it's place... I mean how can you mess up a burger right? Well, it was better than the egg atrocity they originally gave me however, it was also mediocre. Nothing special at all. The service has also slipped. We were seated in a slated table so literally everything was slipping into the slats in the table. I don't know why they didn't just buy the same reg table for the rest of the restaurant but, I guess these were cheaper? It was not practical at all. The waitress took long times to come back to our table. The bus boys would take some empty plates and awkwardly leave other empty plates as if they don't know how to clear a table. Oh and even the chips were disappointing. They were over greasy, the dips were watered down! I don't know if their early success has inspired greed and corner cutting but this was NOT THE SAME RESTAURANT I reviewed in July. I would not go back for brunch and honestly seeing such a drastic change in service makes me extremely hesitant to go back ever again or to recommend to anyone ever. So upset that this restaurant has changed so drastically in such a short time especially when good food like, Reina was forced out of the neighborhood by the competition. Thanks but no thanks, Cabo.
(1)Richard R.
I can only review a little bit since I left before the water came. I walked in, no hostess in front. turns out some silly girl finally decided to stop her conversation with someone and asked if we wanted to sit down. really?? after sitting and looking at menu noticed dusty glasses and plates so we decided to leave.
(1)Ivana P.
Amazing food, amazing service! I walked with a party of 30 expecting nothing but chaos! The staff was more than accommodating. I would recommend Cabo to anyone!
(4)Luz M.
I really like this place. My favorite dish to eat are the chorizo nachos. I love all the margaritas. The service every time I've gone has been excellent. The pineapple margarita and the house margarita are the best. Great happy hour deals.

1st time - I had a brunch groupon for 2, arrived at 11am. The music was blasting. I asked the waitress to turn down the music 2 different times. Felt like it was 2am and we where at a night club. We placed our order. The waitress repeated back our order. Than I decide to order a martini. That didn't go well. I had to have the waitress bring it back 3 different times. The first time the glass had lip stick on it, 2nd time a hair froze in the ice cube and the last time again the lipstick on the glass. Like really !! Finally the food arrived but she got our order completely wrong. I just ate the food since it took a while to get to our table and complaining about my drink & the music wasn't already enough. We paid the check and left. 2nd time - This time I decide to go for drinks & appetizers. Sat at the bar with my friend. We ordered the cactus pear Martini, pork tacos & the wings. The Martini was a glass of ginger. No alcohol & pretty disgusting. The tacos where cold & very salty. As for the wings I eat them but I told the bartender that the dipping sauce was not tamarind BBQ instead it was balsamic vinegar. She said that it's made with vinegar. I said well this one was made only with just vinegar. Instead of her offering something else she just took my plate and wrapped it up. This place is not kid friendly. It is not good for large crowds. It's a small tight restaurant. Should just get rid of the tables & make a lounge.

Me and my husband went on my birthday. The service was really good and i ordered shrimp quesadillas, they were beyond awesome !
(4)Joel S.
Not only is the food fantastic but Cabo is the only establishment in the area with Craft Beer from Mexico & a cider from Spain! Chili Beer-Refreshing Lager with a spicy kick from the Gourmet Serano Chili! Day Of The Dead Hefeweizen-Unfiltered wheat beer with hints of banana & clove for fans of Blue Moon & Allagash White Day Of The Dead Pale Ale-Slightly hoppy with a great balance of malts and a bitter after taste. Mexicali Pilsner-Pale lager, super refreshing, paired well with big portions of food Maeloc Sidra de Fresa-Hard apple cider, slighty sweet, with hints of strawberries. Gluten-Free with a dry finish. I highly recommend pairing these brews with the dishes of your choice! Cabo + great drinks=making the Bronx better!

This place is a hidden gem, the atmosphere is great, staff is amazing and friendly. The food was fresh and full of flavor. The drinks were delicious. This was just an great overall experience. I am definitely coming back.
(5)Fatima G.
I made a reservation for New Year Eve's early dinner whoever answered the call was very helpful & nice . The place was empty because it was 7.30pm but the server were nice , music was good and love the nice decor, hip kind of place. Once you are In you don't feel like you are in Bronx. I have to explore all the bronx restaurant because we have so many nice places here instead of going to Manhattan all the time. Anyhow food was Amazing. Definitely its a perfect place for couple's. We will go other again and will use Groupon may be.
(4)Michelle K T.
Really enjoyed the great service. Everyone was very attentive and food came out fast and delicious! Had the gordita di carnita and it was beautifully presented and such a huge portion for a great price. White sangria was amazing
(5)Robert V.
I tried the pork burrito and it was amazing. The ambiance was quaint and really enjoyed it. Will refer it to friends.
(5)Rafael S.
Great food and service the quality of the meals and drinks are upper echelon and very fairly priced...the manager Oscar works the room makes everybody feel as if there home... He gives it a real family vibe highly recommended....
(5)Laura V.
Me and my husband wanted a late bite, we love Mexican food we took a short drive and pulled up to Cabo. From the outside it look like we were going to wait club with the neon lights and the Bachat music playing. We wanted to get some apps so we looked at the menu and pick a few things. We got the chicken tacos, the Cabo nachos the chorizo on the side and shrimp quesadilla. The chicken tacos were good but the nachos were soggy oily and too much cream.
(2)Diana B.
I feel like this place was better when it first opened and is slacking now. The food is pretty good, but quality is lacking a bit. The brunch drinks are a bit cheap with the alcohol but it's a local spot that you grab a drink at and has a cool vibe
(3)Summer S.
We all have been there: dressed up, went to a nice restaurant, and spent good money on a horrible experience. The server forgot about you, the restaurant was dirty, or the epitome of bad restaurant experiences-- the food was terrible. Many people's first choice would be to bash the restaurant in every way possible. I won't be doing that. Instead I am going to point out everything that is wrong with Cabo because I happen to think the food is excellent and I'd like them to succeed. First impression is best impression. Your hostess... Well, let me just cut to the chase. She Shouldn't be your hostess! She looks miserable and tired. Not a single smile. No professionalism and lacks in communication. Pick up a phonics book and learn to speak! Slide the bartender a twenty and you pretty much drink for free. Wish I learned that the minute I arrived. Since I sat at the bar I cannot comment on service. I'm not sure who the little guy is. But by the way he puffs his chest, I'm assuming he's your manager. Word of advice, unless you want to catch a law suit. Tell the little guy that it is inappropriate to touch women the way he does. It was disgusting to watch. Good luck to you.

Decided to stop in (Friday Halloween night) since me and my boyfriend were in the area and we had never been here before. The ambiance was nice. The place looked pretty. The employees had painted faces for the night. The music was ok... Mostly techno music which reminded me of being in Miami/Cabo or an island somewhere party-ish. Fun and upbeat. The food, on the other hand, was not so great. I had a steak quesadilla. The steak was less than tasteful and not flavorful at all. It seemed to have more cheese than anything. Don't get me wrong, I am a cheese fanatic so I often order quesadillas but this was the worst quesadilla I have had in a restaurant. My boyfriend order the skirt steak which came with rice and beans and a side of shrimp guacamole, which he failed to read off the menu. When his plate came he saw the shrimp and said to me "uh oh, I'm going to die!", as he is allergic to shrimp. Haha! Needless to say our waiter was very nice. She happened to see the way he was staring at the plate before he mentioned anything and asked if there was a problem. She quickly removed the plate and brought him back a plate with regular guacamole. As soon as she placed his plate in front of him I stole a piece of his skirt steak as I often order churrasco as well. It was pretty good. Full of flavor and a bit of a spicy kick to it. He said the food was ok as well but did mention he thought the portions were pretty small compared to other restaurants. I also had a pineapple margarita. It was made well. Just the right amount of alcohol and sweetness to it. Overall it was okay. Nothing to rave about. Food was not out of this world. Nice spot but doubt I'll be back any time soon.

This place is Amazing. Not your topical Mexican restaurant. The ambiance, the music and the decor are very hip. The Service is also top notch, and for me service is everything. Definitely a place to take a first date or your girlfriend for a chance of scenery.

I've only been here once, so I might update this review at a later time.... But this was probably the best service I've had in the Bronx. A manager (maybe owner) checked on us a few times, the waitress was extremely pleasant, busboys were quick and friendly... The ambiance is fantastic with a row of TVs above the bar, music at a level that you can enjoy but still have conversation at your table, and cool decoration... I had a salad with a medium-rare skirt steak that was grilled perfectly. I will definitely come back to try more on the menu.
(5)Stephanie H.
Came Friday night at about 11:30. Waited 20 mins for a waitress to come after I had to get up and ask the hostess to get us a waitress. The appetizer sucked, the sauce tastes hot and oily I said to take it off the table I didn't want it. After I got up to ask for a waitress about 7 different people I including the owner came to us and asked how it was which I understand 2 people coming but it got ridiculous. Then I asked for the bill 2 times and still waited about 25 mins for the bill. The service was horrible only reason I gave 2 stars was bc I ordered a chicken burrito which was realllyyyyy good! But trust me, next time I come will be just to get that to go.

The Sunday brunch is great. It does get crowded at times but that just goes to show you how good the food and drinks are.

Came to the restaurant over the weekend. I was referred by my co worker and wanted to check out this hidden gem, as she referred to it. I must say, at first I was weary about this place as it is small. The vice is what instantly drew me in. The bat set up was neat. Although I couldn't sit at the bar as it was packed I enjoyed the bar table until a seat was ready for my guest and I. The servers, are attentive. Sweet, down to earth and helpful with menu selections and my inquisitive self. The manager was a doll. Danielle conversed with my guests and I and had a bubbly personality. The drinks were delicious and on point. The food, was amazing. The Pulpo and quesadillas are amazing!!! For my entree I enjoyed the steak dish which was cooked to perfection. The dessert was pretty good as well. I was informed by One of the other managers Charles. They have Ladies night every Saturday. I will take them up on the offer and enjoy the free drinks. The place is nice, ambiance is great makes you feel like you are not in the Bronx at all. The staff is so down to earth you feel like you are being served at home. I will definitely be back and I'm bringing my friends too. Best of Luck Cabo!! Pics of food don't come close to the taste of the food!
(5)Dee B.
The place is a decent size and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, the service was slow. We had a party of 8 and it took nearly half an hour for our drinks to come and once they did arrive the order was wrong.
(2)Angie F.
Love this place. Food is delicious. Hostess and waiter were so friendly and polite. Would definitely go back.
(4)Alexa D.
Great place. Very attentive staff. My glass was never empty. If you're not satisfied with your food they will do their best to accommodate you without a hint of attitude. Music is awesome. Very clean. Good food and presentation. My only complaint is the seating. The whole big booth seat with tables very close to each other. I understand they're just working with the little space they have. Yet you have to squeeze in to your seat and apologize to the person sitting in the next table for putting your butt in their face as you sit down.
(5)Maria P.
Had a blast with my friends for my 30 birthday brunch the food and drinks were great. The service was great I was late for my reservation but was still accomodated the management made sure we enjoyed ourselves definately recommend went with a groupon to try it out but will return.
(5)Stephanie N.
I've been here a handful of times. I went for dinner today and had the steak fajitas which were delicious! I was so full after but it was a great meal. The staff was so nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place!
(4)Robert A.
Visited Cabo for brunch with 5 more people and we all were really pleased with the restaurant. Delicious food and great service. Definitely coming back !
(5)Vanessa C.
We had made reservations for brunch and upon our arrival, we were informed that whomever took the reservation placed our reservation under another date and therefore we would not be allowed to be seated guests at a table. We were further informed that the only option we had was to wait for another half hour and hope someone cancelled their reservation so we can have their table. The hostess did not seem to understand why we were upset that because of their employees mistake-not ours, we would either A. Have no reservation, B. Sit at a bar (when my mother does not drink alcohol), C. Hope someone cancels or D. Just leave. The attitude and dismissal of the hostess was completely out of hand. Furthermore, I will not be returning.
(1)M Q.
Came for brunch with a Groupon.. There is street and residential parking available. I must say the service was great and very attentive from start to finish. We were seated within five minutes. They had a good selection of music but was little too loud for our liking. Food was okay. We ordered the habanero wings for appetizers which was a little salty but good. They had unlimited sangria for eight dollars and five dollars margaritas for brunch which was a plus, plus, plus. :) Refills also came in a timely manner. For the main dish I had the poached egg with grilled shrimp on English muffin. It was an interesting and delicious combo. My date had the steak quesadilla which he said was also good. He finished 3/4 of it. For dessert we had the chocolate flan which was a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, we would come back again but would prefer to get another deal. The appetizers and entrées were a little pricey to pay full price for the quality and quantity of the food you're getting.
(4)Sonia V.
Good spot for Mexican in the Bronx, if a little small/understaffed. Went for a birthday dinner, and there was a long wait to be seated and to get some drinks. Qhwj we did finally get them, they were yum (lookin at you, cabo mojito). The apps were good - crabcake, empanada, and guac. I had the fish and chorizo tacos - good fresh ingredients and toppings. Didn't taste like your tired old fish tacos. Would consider coming again if not for the wait and area
(4)Geraldine N.
Food was delicious I wish I could shake the chefs hand.... Them epanadas.. Omg sweet baby Jesus!!!! Definitely returning.
(5)Bernadette R.
Revising this review because Cabo's weekend brunch commenced. Finally a good Modern Mexican spot in the area. Aesthetically, the place is pretty. It's bright lights catch your eyes if you're cruising by on E. Tremont Avenue. The bar is probably the nicest in the Bronx. It has the ice strip on top so all of your drinks and beers stay chill. Frozen margaritas, spicy and sweet and some of the best beer selection in the area. Their fish tacos are pretty damn good! Carnitas as well. The octopus appetizer is delicious. The guacamole packs some heat and is creamy. Ingredients in the food and the drinks are super fresh. The service is great. Even the bus boys get in on the action. As for their new brunch which just kicked off today, the French toast dish is ridiculous. It's encrusted in fine pieces of multi colored tortilla chips with a homemade cinnamon whipped cream. You don't want the plate to end. I also had the churros and egg dish which was just as good. The apple smoked bacon was cooked perfectly and the churros combined with the fried egg in maple syrup hit the spot. They had a live DJ and it was the perfect early Fall day for brunch. If you go anytime soon, you must try their Chili Devil beer and Jalapeño Margarita.
(4)Suzee Q.
Good, interesting food and decent service. We got the Empanadas de Lomito, Torta de Pollo, and the fish tacos and shrimp tacos. Prices were reasonable. Decor is cool. We'll be back!
(4)Giovanni O.
Our first experience at Cabo was all-around beyond excellent. The first thing you will probably take note of is how everyone on the staff from the hostess to the bus boys are noticeably friendly, accommodating, and well trained. Everybody asks if everything is going well and offers do anything to make your dining experience better. Our waitress, Liz, was awesome too. The drinks are great, the perfect margarita was definitely perfect and unique. The food is extremely good. We ordered guacamole to start which was chunky and tasty. We ordered three different tacos and a chicken fajitas for dinner. The tacos were all different and delicious, with the carnitas being our favorite. My chicken fajita was served on a sizzle platter. The flavor was amazing and the sauce on top of everything was outstanding. I would describe it as a kicked-up sazon/fajita seasoning. The churros for dessert were hot and crisp and the white chocolate sauce set it apart from any other. Aside from that, the setting is beautiful, the presentation is top notch, and the atmosphere is fun and friendly. We rarely give 5 stars but what more could you want? Check this place out, it's worth a trip. The owners just really have it right here. Oscar was even there greeting every table making sure that everyone feels welcome and satisfied.
(5)Erica V.
Absolutely delishhhh! They accommodated my very picky vegan self! I sat at the bar and they have an ice lining so my drink can stay cold! How cool is that!!!!! Will definitely be returning ASAP!
(5)Jason B.
Like many other people around the area I was very excited for this place to open up. A modern cuisine Mexican place. The wait was sort of worth it. Ive been here about 2 times since their opening and it doesn't disappoint. My first visit we sat at the bar because of their cool feature which keeps your drink cold and prevents the ice from melting and ruining your drink. Me and my friends had a few rounds of their perfect margarita, and they were great. Bartenders are all friendly and great conversationalists. Second visit was for the dining experience. I brought my girlfriend here because It seemed to have a great decor for a date night. Service was great, our waiter Jonathan I want to say was his name was, is very conversational, great attitude and fully knowledgable about the menu. He suggested the Latin turnovers as an appetizer which are great and filled with churizzo. My girlfriend got the steak fajitas and I got a marinated steak dinner. Both great dishes and a recommendation accept maybe to substitute the rice for greens, the yellow rice seems a little bland. The experience was excellent, between our waiter being attentive, the busboys were spot on, refills, bussing tables and clean utensils. The staff here is really great, another waitress named Christina approached our table thinking we needed help but we were really checking out the place, again great attentiveness. The best part is that the manager approached our table and asked about our experience so we gave our honest feedback. I wish this place great in success and hope to see it grow like the other local businesses. I will definitely be returning with family.
(4)Florence C.
Very good upscale Mexican cuisine. Food is all made in house and has a lot of taste and flavor in it. I had the camaromes Benny and was so surprised to have eggs Benedict on a corn muffin ...it was beyond amazing. I will definitely go back o try more menu items. My friend ha the Mexican burger and the chorizo on it was sooooooo tasty and I don't even like chorizo. Pineapple margaritas was sweet and strong, and the mojito has a nice twist with tequila in it.
(4)Jasmine J.
Came to this place for the first time this past Friday. Came for the restaurant aspect not the lounge. The restaurant itself is very small and intimate but has a nice modern decor. We were seated very quickly the staff was very attentive despite the place being very busy, our food came out really quick and the food was soooooo good. Our waitress had drink and entree recommendations and was very friendly the entire time. The manager and owner made conversation with all the guests. I would definitely come back and recommend it to other people.
(5)Tiana P.
Decided to drop by for lunch had a shell steak and rice I must say it was the best steak I've had since a steak house .I plan to return I wish the menu had more options but I was able to find something which I enjoyed
(3)Sarah D.
A friend and I came here for some food and drinks. We happened to come during happy hour, which was awesome. It was a nice day and the storefront was open, it was really pleasant. The place is small, you feel more like you're somewhere on the Upper East Side as opposed to Tremont Avenue in the Bronx. We honestly kept forgetting we were walking distance from home. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Not a huge selection but we still had a hard time choosing what to eat because everything sounded mouth watering! The margaritas: perfect. The frozen margarita tasted like candy. Might be the best frozen margarita I have ever had. We had a few on the rocks as well and they were also excellent. Even better that we got them for $5 happy hour. The prices were.... Eh. I felt like the prices were high for somewhere in the Bronx, however, this place was a lot nicer than anywhere else you can go in the Bronx. Overall, it was well worth the price. I will certainly return here, hopefully soon!
(4)Dan H.
I had the Salmon and it was wonderful. Drinks were generous sized. The Guacomole was good, but would have been nice if they did a table side prep. Service was impeciable. Great place to visit.
(4)Dominique M.
I had the chicken tacos and thy were to die for. I was dying for this to open already. The atmosphere is great and so is the staff. Everyone is so accommodating. I live a block away. If you have not been here you MUST make it a point to visit. You will love the food!!!!!! Can't wait to go back!!!!!!
(5)Winston F.
So my experience at Cabo was not the best. I was greeted promtly and seated right away. The waitress was nice and took our drink orders and food orders. The drinks arrived quickly and were great. The food however was not great. We waited an hour for our food and it wasnt great. The steak was not cooked to our liking and the shrimp was like rubber and not to mention I mean 1 shrimp thats all I got. All in all our bill was 75 bucks not a deal at all and not the kind of money to spend in this place. Will not be returning there....
(2)Marcelina M.
Excellent service! Prices are great! Atmosphere and DJ were PHENOMENAL! I had the mexican hamburger and though it took a long time to come to my table it was great!
(5)Taina C.
From the ambiance, to the outstanding customer service to the delicious food options you cannot go wrong coming to Cabo. The fajitas are amazing! Great for dates nights or birthday celebrations..
(5)Roxana B.
Went there 2 weeks ago with my man... It was okay. The waiters are very attentive here. The food is def not authentic Mexican, and taste bland. Also, they had a dish that came out twice where it was flaming. Whatever it was, it made everyone cough. It's such a small place to have a dish like this. Ambience is okay, but I don't think I'll go back.
(2)Angie B.
Really awesome spot. The service was very, very good and the food was of the same caliber. Our waiter Christian was very attentive and we consistently had employees come to our table to wipe up fallen food or wet spots. I ordered the salmon and my boyfriend ordered the chicken enchiladas. I was very pleased with the quality of the salmon. The skin was crispy and well seasoned and came on a bed of fresh sauteed vegetables. We were a little confused about the enchiladas because they tasted like pork, but the owner came over and told us that they were actually made with dark chicken meat. That was the only disappointment we had with the meal, because my boyfriend actually doesn't like pork or dark chicken meat, and we assumed it would be white meat. We finished our meal with a delicious guava tres leches cake. All in all, this is an amazing restaurant and we will be back soon!
(5)Mel R.
Nice decor and ambiance. The food is good but not amazing as it is small portions and not what you expect for the high price and what you expect from the surroundings they portrayed. Also the hostess made me a drink that was Un drinkable. You guys could be great you need to try harder and staff better.
(3)Jeannette G.
I went to Cabo last night with my mother. Now I'm not really crazy about Mexican food so my desire to eat at Cabo was not high. However, my mother was in the mood for Fajitas and thus Cabo was the place to dine. I must say the decor, the staff and service were great. The food and the drinks OMG! absolutely delicious! The steak for my fajita was cooked just right and the perfect Margarita that we ordered well... it was perfect! Hence the name. I will definitely return to Cabo as I had a lovely experience.
(5)Michael M.
I'd like to compliment all of your staff and service reps for the excellent service. They provided me with last week. Danielle helped me to sort out my menu drinks and a big business event that was a blast! I have always been pleased with the service I receive at! I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE GREAT DRINKS & FOOD! Danielle GREAT JOB Michael
(5)Carol C.
I've been here twice for dinner.... Their guac is to die for ... Very creamy and tasty! I've ordered their tacos (carnitas and chicken) and both were equally tasty! The staff were very attentive and friendly. Love the decor and ambiance. Love that this place is located in the Bronx :)
(5)Rob M.
So I been up and down e tremont to every bar lounge etc etc this place cabo instantly made me feel like family so I started going there almost 4-5 days a week the food is slamming coming from an old school Italian the staff will do anything for you with pleasure and the music is great as well as the decor all around an amazing place to do everything Oscar and Charlie are great people always aiming to please and great at it
(5)Rosa S.
This is my 3 time in cabo unfortunately this time my experience was very different and unhappy , our surprise was when the manager received us when BAD energy and negative attitude , we was waiting in front door for maybe 3 minute she saw us and she don't even ask us for a minute to give us our table , our food was as usually Delicious gorditas carnitas so yummy and my salmon so delicious , advice front face is the first impression ,probably next time my experience will be better I hope so and try do not chance to many faces in front house , hope its the same administration from Havana , I love that place and ambient always is energetic and friendly.
(2)Cynthia R.
Have had several meals here and have never had a bad experience. Food is fresh, flavorful and appetizing; staff is professional and friendly and ambiance, welcoming. Just celebrated my son's birthday last week and everyone was raving about the food and drinks. Thank you, Oscar; Brian and the rest of the staff for making our dinner at Cabo on of the best in a long time!
(5)Anthony D.
This place is awesome! Some of the best chorizo tacos I've ever had in my life, although the last time I was there, they were out of chorizo. HOWEVER I got the carnitas tacos instead and somehow they were even better! The empanadas were great too. Cannot go wrong with the house Margarita either. Service is usually really good, but they're occasionally under-staffed. Overall, I can't complain. This place is one of my new favorite places, and totally reasonable pricing. Killer happy hour drink specials too
(5)Nicole E.
This place did not disappoint. From the vibe to the food to the amazing! Service, I give it a 10 all around. I walked in to be greeted, and seated with hardly any wait and it was a busy Saturday night. The music was great! A little bit of everything and just loud enough that you could feel like you were having a night out without having to feel as if you were yelling to your friends over the tables. Service was impeccable. Not once did I ever feel like I had to flag down my waiter, he was always near by, but not in the annoying way where they ask if you're okay every five seconds. The food was great. We had appetizers and I had the steak for my main course. It was the perfect serving size, you still had room for drinks !!!!:) I had sangria that Night and they were made perfect! Not watered down, but not too strong where you can't enjoy it! They kept the drinks coming!!! It was really a great night out. Me and my friends will definitely be back for more. Thank you so much to Danielle, the manager, for stopping by the table so we could tell you how great the new addition to tremont is! Can't wait to go back!!!
(5)Patricia T.
The spicy margaritas are amazing. We loveeee the chorizo empanadas. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu (only had apps so far). Our waiter was Joshua both times we went, and he is awesome. The only thing I was not too pleased about was the music. Not everyone has an ear for loud Spanish music. I would suggest something a little more broad for different groups of people. Everything else was good.
(5)Manny B.
The food was good, the drinks were strong, and the staff was super friendly....What else can you ask for. This is a great place to take a date. And if your into spicy stuff try the Chili Devil beer, it's a beer with a chili pepper in it.
(4)Jessica L.
Great food with good service. Staff is very welcoming and courtesy. So many different options but I love the quesadillas and they have really good drinks. The prices are okay too. Would definitely recommend this place
(4)Jovanny L.
Went here with my wife a couple weeks ago. Had appetizers and a few drinks. The apps were served kinda cold and nothing extrodinary. The drinks were overpriced but pretty good. Not to many options though. Spent over $100 including tip. Oh and you practically sit with the other people at other tables. Guess they push the person's limit at this location. Better off at tgif or applebees. At least more drink options.
(2)Debra V.
100% Satisfied. Great food, great drinks..awesome service. Especially, Oscar the manager. Clearly, customer service is high on their priority list. We will definitely go back!! I believe they will be successful, just as Havana's.
(5)J M.
Nice ambiance, food was hot and tasty. We did wait what felt a bit longer but since the food was great, I guess it was because of being freshly prepared. Loud music.
(4)Angela R.
A great mexicen restaurant to the bronx..food is amazing and drinks as well.. I defiantly will refer to others as well.
(5)Moe V.
Great food enhanced by great service! The menu offered a variety of appetizing options, which made the selection difficult so I'll definitely return again for more. The drinks were well made and promptly refilled without hesitation. This is a Bronx gem and I'm looking forward to the next brunch.
(5)Liz S.
Came here for brunch one day, had a reservation and still had to wait a while to be seated. When I complained, manager offered us free drinks which is always awesome. Problem is, the drinks were horrible. Tried a few different ones and all were equally bad. Other problem was they ran out food. I tried to order several different plates and "they just ran out". Sorry, but I would not return.
(2)Melissa L.
I went there for lunch yesterday. The ambiance is lovely, the service was great and the food was delicious. They have a great lunch special and the desserts were delicious.
(5)Sheena M.
Excellent food! Ugh I'm in love with their Guava Tres Leches.. Its Sooooo gooooddd. Mmmm...
(5)Ruth F.
Ok, so I was looking for Mexican food and a friend recommended Cabo. I read the reviews and the 1 st review I read raved about the great service so I decided to give it a try. I was blown away by my servers knowledge of the menu and the staff was excellent. Most importantly the food was delicious. I ordered the shrimp appetizer (yummy) and the mashed potatoes. You must try the coconut flan ;) hope they continue the excellent service and the menu.
(5)Amanda S.
Excellent place. We traveled there from Westchester, and it was worth the trip. We went last night for my birthday. Had a groupon. We could not have been treated better. Service was outstanding. Plenty of delicious chips and salsa to start. I had the white sangria....WOW!! It's delicious and very strong. Appetizers were GREAT. I had the pulpo....it is VERY spicy and delicious. My kids had quesadillas and empanadas. Both were outstanding. Dinner was great, too. Best fajitas that I've ever eaten. Very spicy...which is how good Mexican should be. The owner brought out dessert for my birthday. We had such an amazing time, and were never made to feel bad about using the groupon. We will absolutely go back without a groupon. I don't understand any bad reviews of this place. WE LOVE Mexican, and this was among the best we've had. You should know that the noise level is very high, so be sure you know that before going.
(5)Hanger S.
I loved this place! It was a really great dining experience... Our waiter was super attentive & even when he was completely slammed, he made time to check up on us... I hated that they ran out of red sangria, but their white sangria was just as good... I came here on a Groupon deal & will be back again very soon!
(4)Omar J.
Great service, great atmosphere and great food my favorite restaurant. I recommend this restaurant to any one.
(5)Gwen R.
Hate to have to give a local spot a bad rating, but Cabo did not live up to my hopes. We sat for brunch and unfortunately were not impressed by their "brunch menu" selection. I ordered the churros which were tasty, but how can you mess up eggs & bacon?! My friends had the palomilla which they all unanimously disliked...nothing worse than tasteless steak. We had to ask for salt and a few minutes later a server asks us if she may borrow the salt and that she would bring it back (is the only one salt shaker in the entire place?!) On top of it all the music was so incredibly loud that when we asked the server if he could request that it be turned down he replied I'm sorry i can't hear what you are saying I'm going to ask that the music be turned down. Since when is there this notion that brunch has to be a club like atmosphere?! We were screaming across the table and the music was never turned down. Service was mediocre, food was disappointing and drinks were just ok. I doubt I would ever go back...I wanted to love this place because I am a huge fan of Mexican food..but Cabo, management has lots of work to do.
(1)Dina N.
We were so very happy that we couldn't find parking anywhere near our usual places on E. Tremont and Miles! I suggested we try this place, since I pass it by every day on the express bus and have been waiting for it to open and are we ever glad they did! I had the BEST tasting margarita. We shared empanadas with a dipping sauce made in heaven. i had the filet mignon over mashed potatoes and goat cheese and hubby had the steak fajita that was so beautifully presented and looked wonderful! I am emailing all my friends and we'll be back soon! I'd love to just have some margaritas and try a bunch of appetizers so ... we'll be back soon!
(5)annette l.
Been here twice. Great for the neighborhood Only problem is the weekends are very crowded and like a club atmosphere. If you want a little peace with your dinner come before 530 even during the week servers are very attentive and strive to make you happy. Sit and eat at the bar. Very roomie and fun
(4)Daisy Y.
Food is just ok, if you are allergic to seafood/shellfish there will be close to 0 options for you, appetizer portions are pretty tiny too (ordered pulpo and got 3 tentacles for like 15 bucks, come on now! this is east tremont not park ave). I didnt have any drinks there but honestly there just arent enough options. I am allergic to shellfish, I told the waitress this and was told that I couldnt order the beef empanadas because they were fried in the same oil they use for fried shrimp etc. That is just ridiculous. The atmosphere was nice, open, breezy, modern look but the lack of non seafood options/not enough oil to go around (what the what?) really put a damper on my dining experience. I will not be returning.
(2)John T.
Finally went to Cabo and had an awesome time. We tried the Empanadas de Chorizo and the pork guacamole with tortillas as an appetizer. Chicken Fajitas and some pork dish I can't remember its name. The food was very good. We sat at the bar and Amanda the bartender was very nice we tried the perfect margarita it had to be the best margarita we ever had. The entire staff made us feel welcomed. We found a hidden gem in the Troggs Neck section in the Bronx. We will definitely be back.
(4)Fatima G.
(5)Rafael S.
Great food and service the quality of the meals and drinks are upper echelon and very fairly priced...the manager Oscar works the room makes everybody feel as if there home... He gives it a real family vibe highly recommended....
(5)Robert V.
I tried the pork burrito and it was amazing. The ambiance was quaint and really enjoyed it. Will refer it to friends.

(5)Venice S.
The Sunday brunch is great. It does get crowded at times but that just goes to show you how good the food and drinks are.
(4)Dee B.
The place is a decent size and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, the service was slow. We had a party of 8 and it took nearly half an hour for our drinks to come and once they did arrive the order was wrong.
(2)Alexa D.
(5)Angie F.
Love this place. Food is delicious. Hostess and waiter were so friendly and polite. Would definitely go back.
(4)Maria P.
Had a blast with my friends for my 30 birthday brunch the food and drinks were great. The service was great I was late for my reservation but was still accomodated the management made sure we enjoyed ourselves definately recommend went with a groupon to try it out but will return.
(5)Robert A.
Visited Cabo for brunch with 5 more people and we all were really pleased with the restaurant. Delicious food and great service. Definitely coming back !
(5)Stephanie N.
I've been here a handful of times. I went for dinner today and had the steak fajitas which were delicious! I was so full after but it was a great meal. The staff was so nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place!
(4)Vanessa C.

(5)Sonia V.
(4)Jason B.
(4)Tiana P.
Decided to drop by for lunch had a shell steak and rice I must say it was the best steak I've had since a steak house .I plan to return I wish the menu had more options but I was able to find something which I enjoyed
(3)Dan H.
I had the Salmon and it was wonderful. Drinks were generous sized. The Guacomole was good, but would have been nice if they did a table side prep. Service was impeciable. Great place to visit.
(4)Geraldine N.
Food was delicious I wish I could shake the chefs hand.... Them epanadas.. Omg sweet baby Jesus!!!! Definitely returning.
(5)Erica V.
Absolutely delishhhh! They accommodated my very picky vegan self! I sat at the bar and they have an ice lining so my drink can stay cold! How cool is that!!!!! Will definitely be returning ASAP!
(5)Sarah D.
(5)Marcelina M.
Excellent service! Prices are great! Atmosphere and DJ were PHENOMENAL! I had the mexican hamburger and though it took a long time to come to my table it was great!
(2)Taina C.
(2)Fernando A.
Muy alegre tener in restaurante mexicano moderno el el area. Buena comida, un ambiente excelente, recomiendo el queso fundido y el lomito, muchas gracias a Luisito sus atenciones definitivamente volvere!!!
(5)Kitty P.
This place is a hidden gem, the atmosphere is great, staff is amazing and friendly. The food was fresh and full of flavor. The drinks were delicious. This was just an great overall experience. I am definitely coming back.
(5)Angie B.
(2)J.J A.
(5)Debra V.
(4)Amanda G.

OMG!! The Service, the food, the décor, the ambiance... and the waiters/bus boys were HOT! Too..just a little extra...

Our server Alyssa was really good. We had the Livingsocial brunch deal for 4 people so we got 2 apps, 4 entrees and 2 desserts. Food was decent although some things were a little over salted. Churros were a bit dense. Overall not bad for Throgs Neck.

(4)Richard R.
