Sunny Wok is a great place for Chinese takeout, located at The Shoppes at Wilton, two doors from Moe's Southwest Grill. I've been here several times, mostly during the track season when I'm hungry after sitting through several races. The layout is typical strip plaza takeout, order at counter with open kitchen and table seating. The typical Chinese dishes (with no MSG) are offered, plus Hunan and Szechuan dishes. The prices here are very reasonable, all items are priced under $10 (except for the Seafood Pan Fried Noodles ($10.95), which is one of my favorite dishes). They also offer 20 Weekday Lunch Specials (served with rice) $4.95 each and 20 Combination Plates (served with fried rice & egg roll) $5.95-$7.45. I usually get an order of roast pork lo mein, pork fried rice (yellow color), and some crispy chicken fingers. The food is cooked just right and tastes pretty good. The portions are good sized. The service here is fairly quick as I can see my food being cooked to order in big woks. CREDIT CARD (MC/Visa): $15 minimum

I came here and to start off the lady at the front counter was not welcoming. Her response was always "what?!?" Then she rang my wife's order incorrectly and refused to correct it after we received it. I should had read the reviews before coming here. Your better off going 2 doors down where they have excellent sushi. The chicken on the fried rice was bland and tasted like no effort in seasoning was put on. I've made better chicken boiled in water!!! Do not waste your time here. Take your money to another Chinese restaurant that will appreciate your business

Remarkable good for the Saratoga area. Actually could one of the best in the Saratoga area. Order and take it home.

The food here is mediocre, bland, bordering on disgusting. Had the General Tso Chicken. Made with white meat, bland, dry not enough sauce. The boneless ribs looked microwaved, with a sauce on it similar to the gravy you see on dog food. The spring rolls were the worst I have ever had, they were greasy and soggy. The fried rice was decent, but even that was tasteless. Not only that, I stood there 20 minutes waiting to place my order while the woman at the counter kept taking phone orders. Put the calls on hold when you have a customer in front of you. Additionally, the woman taking my order had a surly attitude. Saratoga needs a higher quality Chinese takeout. This place does not even come close to being decent. If you are craving Asian food, Japanese is a better option in Saratoga.

I haven't had Chinese take-out in a VERY long time. There was a local place that I went to near my previous residence that was outstanding...and since I moved to Saratoga, I haven't really experimented with much Chinese. I decided to try Sunny Wok since I pass it all the time. I guess if you're into semi-bland americanized chinese take-out, then you'll be OK here. I tried the steamed dumplings, dim sum and ribs. First - the only steamed dumplings that they have are pork - no veggie (which I prefer). They were just OK - same as the dim sum. The ribs weren't really worth the calories. The girl at the front wasn't especially welcoming, either - so that took away from the whole experience. They did get the order done very quickly which is a plus. Not rushing back.

Ehhh - it wasn't terrible, but we wouldn't go back! The rice had an over all burnt taste to it - and didn't give us forks and knives with out to go order.

Best takeout Chinese that I have found in the area! Fried dumplings are doughy and delicious; the General Tso and Sesame Chicken are not overly breaded and the sauce is lovely and the Hunan Shrimp is great! They are also always pleasant and polite and whenever they quote 15 minutes, I've always gotten there early and it has been ready and piping hot! Great food and great service! Prices are spot on as well.

Best Chinese food in the area. Always fresh and delicious. There general tsos is incredible all white meat chicken and they give you a ton. Lo mein is good as well, not greasy. Your rolling the dice with there ribs as they are sometimes fatty. Food is always prepared quickly and "ready in 10 minute".

Bland and water downed sauces! I ordered a few different pint sized dishes and it all tasted the same. Very boring blah and watery tasting, from the chicken with broccoli to a black bean sauced item. I would never think these americanized chinese places that serve the same thing everywhere could vary in taste so much.

Good take out Chinese food at reasonable prices. I like that it's very clean when you walk in the door and they're always consistent. The pick up time has never been longer than 20 minutes and the food is fresh and hot. Nothing sits around. My only complaint are the egg rolls or spring rolls. They are terrible, so save yourself on those, but everything else I've tried is really good.

Stopped in to place an order this afternoon just as the entire staff was sitting down to lunch. Was told to write down my order and it would be done in 20 minutes. I was somewhat skeptical, but the woman re-confirmed. Since I had nothing that I could do for 20 minutes and it was clear they didn't want me sitting and watching them eat, I sat in my car. When the time was up, I went back and they were just getting up from lunch. They hadn't even started my food... At that point, I just left. I don't think I've ever experienced such poor customer service and will never get food from there again. Made me angry to post my first Yelp comment. Even in the past, the food has been generally mediocre in my opinion. I'm waiting for my order to be delivered from Uncle Ming's as we speak. They've always been great. Should have never deviated...

They spat at me, yelled in Chinese and showed absolutely no kindness here. They deserve no stars. Do not go here in your lifetime. My friend ordered take out -- on a night that they close at 11. I get there to pick it up at 10:20 -- after the people viciously called my friend about three times yelling at him for not getting it yet. I am only passing through Toga for two weeks at this point, I am not a resident. I had work until 10 and I couldn't get there until 10:20. It is a dark and rainy evening and when I get there -- there is a car with the engine running, empty and with all of its lights on. I walk up to the run down restaurant and there are about 6 employees -- Chinese family. The oldest man, in his 60s/70s starts yelling at me in Chinese and then spits at my feet. I am disgusted at this point. I go up to the counter and the daughters or wife, I assume is just extremely rude and they don't even have the courtesy to speak to me in English or even look at me. I told them -- you're open until 11 so please don't be rude to me. I take and pay for my order. I leave no tip. They start yelling at me in Chinese again. I felt threatened as I was leaving and walking to my car. The two men started following me -- to their car -- I was about to call the cops after I left. If the old man hadn't spat at me -- I would've tipped. The second spit at me -- by the younger man -- was OVER THE TOP DISGUSTING. I hope you all never go here. They show NO kindness here. It was the most disturbing experience I've really ever had. I was shocked.
