I was very disappointed by the tacos here. The chicken tasted extremely average, and the carnitas were super soggy. Both lacked the strong flavoring that I was looking for. The taco shell though was by far my least favorite part. They were thick and doughy and honestly such a distraction from the rest of the meal. I feel like I would have been more satisfied eating chipotle instead. The Gotham west market itself is adorable. It reminds me of a smaller and more comfortable Chelsea market. Choza however just did not live up to my expectations. I'll definitely come back to the market and try some of the other options next time.

Not sure what's changed.. I use to go there almost every day & would recommend people to go there but things have been horrible lately. Have gotten cold food twice in a row and customer service is not what should be in the market. Go to Taco Bell

Carnita torta: Amazing! One bite was all it took for me to wonder if Choza was available anywhere else in the city. Juicy, flavorful, delicious! Carne Asada torta: This was also finger-lickin' good! Saucy, delectable, tender! My mouth is watering as I reminisce... Fantastic lunch option if you're around the area. Grab a Jarrito with your meal and enjoy!

Chicken tortilla soup is amazing and each of the tacos are delicious.

Not bad at all. I had the taco set ($8 something). You get to mix and match, so I got two chicken and one with carñitas. The chicken was ok, but the carñitas were awesome. Very tender and full of citrusy flavor. Next time, I'd just get three of those.

I work around the corner from Gotham West and often venture in for lunch, forgetting how unmemorable the options are, then leave empty handed. Choza is one of the reasons I usually look elsewhere. Not sure how they manage to do it, but they make the most bland salsa I've tasted in my life. And the guacamole is even worse. The food, in general, is uninteresting and under-seasoned. Sorry Choza. I have to head over to Chipotle. Two stars instead of one because the staff has personality.

I really enjoyed the pickled vegetables the put in their food. I had a carnitas burrito that was outstanding. Beans, rice, delicious pork, and pickled veg. I am happy to hear they also have breakfast burritos which is exciting!! And they deliver in the area!! And the Gotham West Market is a really cool spot to have some beers with friends, grab some food, do some work, etc. Cool vibe and very New York! Good for a Mexican fix :-).

I WISH I COULD PICK THIS PLACE UP AND PUT IT IN MY BACKYARD. SO. CHEAP. SO. GOOD. SO AUTHENTIC. I come from a Mexican family and finding authentic Mexican food that tastes how I remember when I was little is really hard. The tamales were definitely homemade. They tasted exactly how I was dreaming they would. The flavor was amazing. I also ordered three tacos; chicken, carnitas and chorizo. The chicken and carnitas were my favorite. The chorizo was kind of sweet and I wasn't expecting it. Not bad, though. My boyfriend for a chicken burrito and it was HUGE. He loved every bite. This place is located within a market and it's really cool. You can sit wherever and grab a drink from one place and food from another. Great concept and amazing food!

I was coming to Gotham West Market just for the Jeni's Icecream Pop Up, but my husband and I decided to have dinner there as well. I had never heard of the Gotham market before Jeni's showed up and its a fun place but too out of the way for us coming from Queens. I've been on a taco kick lately so I chose Choza and ordered the three tacos, mexican coke, guac and chips and my husband ordered the chicken burrito & a bottle of water. I was slightly stunned when our order came to $28.00. But I was in Manhattan so I pretended like I didn't care and handed over our credit card. We only waited a few minutes for our meals. I grabbed the tacos and was in a bit of disbelief at how small they were. The tortillas were about 3 inches in diameter stuffed with just a little filling. While the taste was pretty good, the beef was slightly cold and again, the size was so tiny. I had ordered a similar meal at another taqueria a few days prior (I told you I was on a taco kick) and for about the same price, I received much bigger tacos. My husband's burrito was good and the chips were crispy and greasy (yum) and the guacamole was okay. Its hard to get good guac at a place that makes it ahead of time but it was decent. I would not come back here, especially to this location, but probably not to Choza in general because I do not feel the amount of food you get is worth the price.

Choza is a new Mexican take-away place inside the buzzing Gotham West Market. This is a welcome addition, IMO as I go there often and want a quick meal, not a sit-down sort of thing. They have a fairly broad menu of tacos and burritos, etc., but they also have tortas, basically a Mexican sandwich. Everything is very fresh and perfectly prepared. I have ordered the chicken tacos and they are fantastic. They also have chips and guacamole or salsa. The chips are made frequently, so they are often warm when I get them. I think word is spreading quickly about Choza, as the line keeps getting longer every time I am there. Go forth and stuff yourself at Choza.

This new outpost of Choza replaced the lackluster Little Chef with a just-as-empty-counter but friendlier service. The ceviche were either new to the menu or exclusive to the Gotham West location, but the pasion packed a nice punch regardless. Seemed pretty tossed-together to match the more upscale Gotham West location, and the flavor and texture suffered as a result. Speaking of punch, forgot my Macdougal punch card though doubt they would've honored it anyway. CEVICHE -$9.50 TOSTADAS - pretty solid, and super-friendly staffer -$3.00 $0.50 SOUP - chicken tortilla, pretty good flavor-wise but needed a WHILE to cool, rendering the chips soggy, also huge scraggly chunks of fatty chicken, so eh $4.25 1 $4.25 SubTotal $4.25 Special Offer -$4.25 Churro - 2 churros...really? 2? for $4? I'll take the ones under the 7, thanks $4.00 1 $4.00 SubTotal $4.00 Special Offer -$4.00 Total $0.00

Yeah, they aren't very good. I don't know what happened but they really took a looooong time to process my order. And I had the simplest order ever. 3 chicken tacos, and everyone who ordered after me got theirs first and I got it very late.

I've recently been on a Mexican crave, and was so happy to find a brand new Choza that just opened inside the Gotham West Market! I got the 3 tacos with chicken, carnitas pork, and steak + corn elote on the side. The tacos aren't huge - in fact they're very cute size (about 3 inches across) - but they're packed with flavor and the meats are very well braised and marinated. Like most soft shell places, the tortillas are double layered which I find a bit unnecessary (I just eat one layer), but the key is in the mix of meats, cheeses, salsas, and toppings. Perfect balance and blend of spices. What really stood out was actually the corn. Most taco joints don't have corn on the cob, and the mix of sprinkled cheese and sauce on sweet corn made it high addicting and unique! Glad to have a taco joint near my apartment!

This is an awesome taco shop. The barbacoa was the best taco we had. We tried an assortment but the lamb was different and tasty. The carnitas was also good but I would much rather have had 3 barbacoa tacos. Anyways we also tried the corn and a ceviche. The ceviche was unique but a little too sweet for my taste. Wish I'd selected another option or the tamales. SInce this is so close to where I work I can't wait to come eat here again.

Breakfast was terrible. Egg burrito tasted like grease left over from the grill . Tamale with poached egg was missing the egg. Baked egg had terrible seasoning the potatoes were mushy have too much chili powder or something. Threw the entire breakfast in the trash. Will not come back

There are a lot of hole-in-the-wall taco joints dispersed throughout Hells Kitchen, but I'm glad that Gotham West Market decided to include Choza into their variety of purveyors because it's just a little more trustworthy, in my opinion, than some of the other options I had to choose from, before I discovered Gotham West Market. Another taqueria option would be in Chelsea Market, Los Tacos No. 1, but you're bound to wait on a 5-10-15 minute line, depending on when you go, and you won't even have a place to eat it! Choza Taqueria is one of the few vendors in Gotham West Market and their tacos are good. They hit the spot, for when you're craving a corn flour tortilla taco. We ordered a platter of tacos- chicken, fish, and carne asada. We also ordered a side of rice & beans, chips & guacamole. One downside of the chips & guac though, were that they definitely didn't give us enough guacamole for the bag of chips. The guacamole is served in a small plastic saucer, more suitable for dipping sauces. The rice & beans are not pre-mixed, thankfully, so you will get two containers of black beans and white rice. You order your food, wait for the kitchen to put it together, and either take it to go or grab a seat at a bench indoors. You can also eat it outside, on one of the patio tables. Choza Taqueria also offers tamales, breakfast tacos, ceviche, rice bowls, aguas frescas, and juice smoothies. I have yet to try any of these, but I definitely will be back to do so!

I have gotten much tougher on my taco and Mexican ratings. I think this taco/burrito stand within Gotham market is just ok for NYC Mexican (caveat that nothing beats Mexican or west coast US Mexican). We shared the guacamole (which I believe was missing some flavor/spice) and the fish tacos (which were just OK). Wasn't blown away and probably will try something else within Gotham Market next time.

Fish tacos! Very fresh, very delicious! You have the option to get each taco a different meat, but definitely try the fish, especially since you're paying a little extra for it. Fast and friendly service, I would definitely come back.

What a terrific find this place is! The food is great and the service is really nice. We had the following tacos: Lamb shoulder Fish Garbanzo Bean Chicken Pork Steak All were delicious. My favorite was the fish, the hubby liked the lamb and the girls loved the steak. Our least favorite was the garbanzo bean, but it was still good.

If you want their breakfast menu make sure to arrive by 10:30. We had hustled over with a craving for breakfast tacos to discover that the staff randomly decided to clean everything up and stop serving breakfast at 10:50.

Located inside Gothem West. Great open space with lots of seating. Ordered chips and guac - good portion of chips and flavorful guac. Carnitas Burrito - was good size, didn't like that half of it was cold (from salsa and wtv other cold ingredients) but was okay. I feel like my standard for Mexican food in new York is much lower. In new York this place is pretty good. In California, I would not recomend this place! Overall with the indoor experience of Gothem West I would recommend thus place to others

Im a corn on the cob fanatic so when I saw that yummy pic of it I had to immediately go get some. Yes the spot is a lil ways from the train station but so worth it. Its located in a building with a whole bunch of other restaurants etc. All the staff and owner were very friendly. On this visit of many more to come I just ordered corn and rice with beans. The corn was tasty and had this oh so good sauce on it. The beans I thought were good but could have used a lil seasoning. I'm looking forward to tasting their tacos and other items on the menu. All of which are under $10.

I got an assorted order of double wrapped corn tortilla tacos (3). 1) Chorizo 2) Carnitas 3) Beef Brisket -Believe it or not! All 3 were a burst of delicious Flavors :) The staff was very nice & helpful -Thx! Gotham Market has lots of available seating & if you're here with friends who want other choices in food, this might be the place for a quick meal or snack. Music is eclectic & loud. Not too loud though. I liked it. Fun spot in Hell's Kitchen. Caution: The restrooms downstairs are interesting. But, it could be easy to walk into your opposite sex's restroom..... Women to the right & men to the left.
(3)
JL K.
Tacos are MINISCULE! Also, DRY & FLAVORLESS. The pickled onions on the Brisket taco had MORE flavor than the meat. Tried the Fish, Chicken & Carne (the worst!) All protein was OVER DONE & DRY. No Elote available. Thankfully, I had some Spanish Cava from El Colmado to wash it all away. Service was attentive but won't eat at again.

Solid burritos, though nothing special. The flavors in them are quite good, and they give Cholula hot sauce packets that are really good. My one complaint would be that they seem to roll the burritos in a way that minimizes mixing, so you can get 4 bites in a row of straight rice, followed by beans, followed by guac, etc. I'd say this is the best Mission-style burrito in west Hells Kitchen.
(3)
Megan V.
I used to really like this place, but for the past several months the food seems to get consistently worse. My most recent experience here resulted in a flavorless and cold meal. Do yourself a favor and eat at another vendor in Gotham Market West.

A better version of Chipotle, without the whole assembly line process, but still not that special. Food is fresher and tastier, prices seem marginally friendlier, and preparation takes a little longer. But they have way more options, such as shrimp and fish as meat filling in entrees as well as tostados at $3-$4, which is surprisingly big enough for 2 to share. The barbacoa meat here is super soft, juicy, and flavorful and the staff here is friendly. Lots of seating unlike other mexican places since Gothan West Market doesn't get that crowded (or maybe I just got lucky).
(3)
Krista M.
Good flavor tacos, but on the small side. About $8 for 3 tacos, but depending on which kind you choose it could be an add'l $1-$3. Fish taco: Flaky fish with a nice chipolte crema and some fruit salsa Carnitas: Very flavorful and super tender pork topped with some picked cabbage Barbacoa: Lam was super tender topped with corn; could have used some spice. Nothing had much, if any, spice to them, but there were bottles of hot sauce that you could use. Overall very enjoyable.

I tried this place last week and the chorizo tacos were my favorite. The only thing I was a bit turned off by was the filling for the tacos was a bit cold. I had 2 orders of tacos, one with 3 assorted (chicken, chorizo and garbanzo/hongos). The fillings were a bit cold. I still went back for he chorizo cause the flavor was intense!

Came yesterday and had some tacos with a friend. Not impressed by the flavor or quality. Better off going to dos Toros or chipotle. The staff were friendly though and the atmosphere in the market is nice.

Fantastic! I loved these tacos. Everything we got was great (which was only the chicken and the steak!) But I ate 6 without trouble. Amazing. Tacos in NYC are very hard to come by, and I highly recommend these. Would only be improved if they were served with lime on the side.

Delicious, fresh Mexican -- for the price of Chipotle, you can get something so much better here! Their meats are well-prepared (the chicken was nicely charred/juicy, and the chorizo wasn't too greasy), their salsas and sauces are on point, and even their rice is somehow much tastier than your average NYC taco place. I highly recommend the 'pollo' option for a bowl/burrito/tacos -- it comes with a pineapple and buttermilk topping that sounds odd but is such a nice acidic foil for the meat. Their elote (grilled corn on the cob) is not bad, either.

ARE YOU KIDDING? Move over, Chipotle! (Sorry, I ate at Chipotle twice and was never a fan and can't understand how or why people need their oversized bland crap). (Sorry, Chipotle fans). This is really real, authentic, insanely delicious mexican food. Boutique, even. The staff is sweet and knowledgeable about the product. The food is SUPER FRESH. Like, as fresh as it gets, seriously. I ordered the beef bowl. Over rice. The rice wasn't heavy - it was perfectly cooked and it was the perfect serving size (though I still couldn't finish it all). The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. Ridiculous. The guacamole has a perfect, swift little kick to the pants, it bites back with a zesty spice to it and that's all I could ever ask of guacamole (except for it to be super fresh, which it is). DO NOT MISS: they have these drinks on the menu that are called something I will never remember. Fresco something? We ordered the hibiscus flavored one AND NOW I DREAM ABOUT IT AT NIGHT. So just walk straight up to the cashier and say "i want the hibiscus flavored something-or-other drink". There's only one thing that's hibiscus flavored so I'm pretty sure you could even just say "hibiscus drink thing" at the register and you'll get it. And then YOU'LL dream about it at night.
(5)
Jeff F.
Chorizo tacos was clearly the winner with the Carnitas coming in a close second. There were some misses with the Pescado, the Shrimp and the Barbacoa. Chicken was average. Ultimately 2 stars given the Ceviche was terrible and none of the tacos were warm. Think about that. Serving Tacos on cold tortillas. Brutal.

Live upstairs, so we've eaten here more than a couple of times. Food is great every time, and the service is always friendly. My favorite dish is definitely the tostadas with pork. Amazing!! Definitely don't miss it! Choza is inside of Gotham West Market, so you get your food and can sit anywhere and enjoy drinks and food from any of the other places in GWM. They do movie nights and have ping pong on certain night. Definitely a good place to come with a group since everyone can eat from wherever they want.

love it! they are so nice and friendly, just open a few days ago and the food is pretty good it takes pretty Mexican and is so fresh. the carne asada tacos yummm, the chicken ones have a hint of pineapple, the barbacoa one not so much but the corn sauce it's great. in addition they do have a pretty good carnitas bowl and a long enough menu to choose from. Good luck guys!!! will stop again in my next visit to NYC.

Ceviche was delicious however it was quite watery and needed to be drained. The fish was fresh but one feels he did not get him money's worth. Chips and guacamole great. Should've had the tacos everyone was raving about

The tortas tasted good, but for its price it should be fuller. It especially needed more guacamole. The salsa and chips suck. Don't order it. The people were nice.

Great Carne Asada Burritos and Tacos. I hope they develop a fresh salsa bar soon. Bottled hot sauce is a disappointment....Best Fast Food Mexican in NYC !!!

The carnitas breakfast burrito was amazing. Substantial, filling, and most importantly, delicious. I went back for lunch later in the week, and while for the most part the food was still tasty, I do have a few gripes. First, the burrito bowl was pretty much cold- mostly from the salsa and pickled vegetables. Second, the tacos are *tiny* (albeit flavorful). I was still hungry after eating all three. Third, they use white rice. In terms of taste, everything I've had here has been great, with the exception of the burrito bowl. Partly because of the aforementioned temperature issue, but mainly because the plain white rice really took away from the flavor. The usual seasoned Mexican rice would have made it so much better!

I love a well prepared taco, and Choza makes them correctly, with two corn tortillas. The pollo taco had juicy chunks of chicken, with an interesting chile de arbol salsa, while the carne asada was topped with a flavorful guajillo salsa. The standout, however, was the pescado -- a true Baja-style fish taco served with a beautiful mango salsa. The chips and pico de gallo salsa were definitely worth ordering as well. To drink I had their hibiscus agua fresca. The pricing is incredibly reasonable.

Delicious authentic Mexican tacos! Small in proportion but big in flavor. Worth the 8$ for 3 tacos. Guac was also delicious

Very good burritos and looking at others plates I can say I did not pick the tastier! I had a Chorizo Burrito which was already a great deal. This Gottham West Market seems to have a lot of nice places to eat but I might just go back there next time around there.

Avoid the breakfast! We are here this morning, and ordered 2 orders of the egg tacos & an order of the baked eggs to eat at Gotham West. The egg tacos came to us stone cold and we had to request that they actually be reheated. While we were waiting for them to be reheated, we were served the baked eggs. I'm all for baked eggs with runny egg yolk, but this had completely raw eggs inside a mound of meat. The egg whites were not cooked at all. We returned the baked eggs and after the experience thus far, decided to give up and not give them a third attempt to cook baked eggs. If your at Gotham West for breakfast - it's a safer bet to go to Genuine Roadside or Court Street Grocers.

To be fair, I'm no taco aficionado but I like this place. It's my go-to taco spot whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Their tacos are great, their salads are okay. But honestly you can't go wrong with this place.

So good my wife and I had to Yelp review it! Carne asada, carnitas and Barbacoa all good! They add a few veggies to the mix which is alright -not necessary but they add nicely. I'm from New Mexico and I loved in El Paso, TX for awhile so I know what a taco should taste like:).

The food here is delicious. I had a very tasty Ceviche and some delicious Tostadas, but my favorite were the tacos. The chorizo and lamb ones were the best! It is located in Gotham West Market which is a really nice place with a bunch of good vendors, but I would recommend trying Choza Taqueria first.

The tacos at Choza actually look pretty good, but I left the place still disappointed and searching for good Mexican food in New York. The pricing for the this place is kind of strange. They say 3 tacos cost $8.04, but then they have some tacos that cost extra. I got the carnitas, pollo, and carne asada for $9.25. Carne asada for an extra $1 makes sense, but pescado for an extra $3? Imagine a scenario where you get the carnitas, pollo, and pescado. Comes out to about $11. The first two don't cost extra, so you pay about $2.60 for those. That means you're paying about $5.80 just for the fish taco. I've had good fish tacos at cheaper prices. The tacos tasted ok, I think they look better than they taste. I would probably have it again if I came back, but I didn't leave feeling I just had to come back to eat here again. Mercadito in Chicago was one of those places, and I really wish New York had one.

I enjoyed my first visit here so I came back for a quick lunch. Got the same tacos as last time but after one bite in, I realized it wasn't what I had ordered. When I went up to ask them about it, the girl who took my order insisted it was correct and I must have said the wrong thing. Yeah, no. I know what I said and I know what I do and don't eat so this was irritating to hear. Turned out my order was switched with another girl's, who also came up shortly after me. No apologies. I understand mistakes happen but placing blame on the customer before you have all the facts of a mishap won't do any favors for the business. That, combined with the cold, bland tacos, is little incentive for me to return. P.s. Girl who's order was switched with mine, if you ever read this, sorry I took a huge bite from your taco. I hope you didn't have to wait long for a new order and also I liked your dress.

Tucked away inside Gotham West is a sweet little Mexican express shop. It's quite unassuming, but the Carne Asada Burrito is solid. Beware: some days, the line is long- like 20 people deep with only one cook manning the grills. I'm not sure why they staff in this fashion, but if you're there on an off-hour, go and enjoy!

The food isn't anything great and definitely overpriced. But what really bothered me was how rude the blue-haired cashier was. I'm a New Yorker and don't expect anyone to kiss my ass, but this person was especially unpleasant.

Ceviche Pasion = 1 star Nice, new location within the shiny Gotham West Market with actual BRs, btw. However, the Ceviche Pasion ($9.50 total) was truly disappointing - mainly fruit juice and a clump of red onions, sprinkled with maaaybe 10 tiny pea-sized bits of ahi ahi. The ceviche, which is served only at this location, is the one item you can't order to-go. It's for dine-in only, maybe to maintain the dish's visual presentation, which is all it has going for it. -Large Chips & Guac ($3.25): Good guac (lots of lime juice!), but the amount of chips is the same as the Small. The cashier confirmed the only difference is the amount of guac. ++Chicken Tortilla Soup ($4.25): Really good and LOADED with chicken shreds. My bowl was too salty though. They also don't accept the Choza Taqueria loyalty card here. Blehhh. I'm only giving them an extra star because I've tried other items at their Greenwich Village location, all of which were 2-3 stars. This location does offer a Breakfast menu, however, unlike the others.

I work in the neighborhood and was excited to see that they opened this in Gotham West Market. The setup looked good and the prices were relatively reasonable. Unfortunately I left very disappointed. It was around 6pm on a Monday, a good time to go to Gotham West Market because it is pretty empty. I ordered a chicken burrito with Guacamole (which cost $1.25 extra to add). I was the only customer there. The cashier was on the phone when she took my order (maybe someone was ordering pickup?). When I got my order and took the first bite, I realized there was no guacamole. I went back to tell them this and the man who prepared my burrito kind of smirked as if he knew he forgot it or something. They just handed me a little container of guacamole and a woman (maybe the manager) started yelling 'THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE TO READ THE TICKETS'. Though I was happy to have a container of guacamole, I was kind of disappointed that they didn't offer to remake my burrito for me with the guacamole inside. I was the only customer there and they had time. It was annoying to have to spoon the guacamole onto my burrito in between each bite, especially because I had to pay extra to have it included in the first place. Sadly that wasn't the only issue I had. The burrito was the most bland burrito I've ever had in my entire life. The rice was flavorless. The beans were flavorless. The cheese was weird... I dont even know if there was pico de gallo in there cause if there was I didn't taste it. The chicken had some flavor but the rest of the bland burrito covered it up and the whole thing just tasted bland. For the price and aggravation I was very disappointed. I won't be going back. If you have a burrito craving I suggest walking two blocks to 9th ave and 44th and going to El Rancho instead. Those are the best burritos in the neighborhood. I knew I should have stuck to my favorite place!
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

(2)Andrew S.

(4)Harry H.
(3)Jeremy R.
Yeah, they aren't very good. I don't know what happened but they really took a looooong time to process my order. And I had the simplest order ever. 3 chicken tacos, and everyone who ordered after me got theirs first and I got it very late.
(1)Sean L.
(5)Laksen R.
(4)Maria P.

(3)Gina P.
Fish tacos! Very fresh, very delicious! You have the option to get each taco a different meat, but definitely try the fish, especially since you're paying a little extra for it. Fast and friendly service, I would definitely come back.
(4)Jaimee A.
(4)Kevin E.
If you want their breakfast menu make sure to arrive by 10:30. We had hustled over with a craving for breakfast tacos to discover that the staff randomly decided to clean everything up and stop serving breakfast at 10:50.
(1)Klarissa L.
(3)Avalyn J.
(4)Jim H.
(3)JL K.
(2)Pat L.
(3)Megan V.
I used to really like this place, but for the past several months the food seems to get consistently worse. My most recent experience here resulted in a flavorless and cold meal. Do yourself a favor and eat at another vendor in Gotham Market West.
(2)Lucy C.
(3)Krista M.
(4)Edgard G.
(3)Cristina F.
Came yesterday and had some tacos with a friend. Not impressed by the flavor or quality. Better off going to dos Toros or chipotle. The staff were friendly though and the atmosphere in the market is nice.
(3)Vicky L.
Just about average, nothing special really.
(3)Daniel P.
Fish tacos were so small. More tortilla than fish. Not worth the price. Guacamole was good.
(2)Julia K.
Fantastic! I loved these tacos. Everything we got was great (which was only the chicken and the steak!) But I ate 6 without trouble. Amazing. Tacos in NYC are very hard to come by, and I highly recommend these. Would only be improved if they were served with lime on the side.
(5)Claire O.
(4)Shelly S.
(5)Jeff F.
Brutal.
(2)Junot F.
(5)Lina J.
love it! they are so nice and friendly, just open a few days ago and the food is pretty good it takes pretty Mexican and is so fresh. the carne asada tacos yummm, the chicken ones have a hint of pineapple, the barbacoa one not so much but the corn sauce it's great. in addition they do have a pretty good carnitas bowl and a long enough menu to choose from. Good luck guys!!! will stop again in my next visit to NYC.
(4)Robert G.
Ceviche was delicious however it was quite watery and needed to be drained. The fish was fresh but one feels he did not get him money's worth. Chips and guacamole great. Should've had the tacos everyone was raving about
(3)Caleb R.
The tortas tasted good, but for its price it should be fuller. It especially needed more guacamole. The salsa and chips suck. Don't order it. The people were nice.
(2)David B.
4 stars. Ordered the Carne Asada Burrito which was large, filling and delicious. Also tried the Guacamole and chips which was good, but a bit expensive for the portion. The service was very friendly.
(4)Patrick M.
Great Carne Asada Burritos and Tacos. I hope they develop a fresh salsa bar soon. Bottled hot sauce is a disappointment....Best Fast Food Mexican in NYC !!!
(5)D. K.
(4)Jack H.
(4)Tiffany M.
Delicious authentic Mexican tacos! Small in proportion but big in flavor. Worth the 8$ for 3 tacos. Guac was also delicious
(5)Steven R.
Good, quality tacos and tostada. Ordered on grub hub and they forgot to deliver the chips and guacamole in our order. Replaced very quickly with a complimentary double order, overall very pleased.
(4)Fabrice L.
Very good burritos and looking at others plates I can say I did not pick the tastier! I had a Chorizo Burrito which was already a great deal. This Gottham West Market seems to have a lot of nice places to eat but I might just go back there next time around there.
(4)John L.
(1)Robert S.
To be fair, I'm no taco aficionado but I like this place. It's my go-to taco spot whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Their tacos are great, their salads are okay. But honestly you can't go wrong with this place.
(4)J.W. B.
(5)Hank Y.
(5)Nina K.
Perfect spot in the neighborhood if your looking for delicious mexican food! I had the chicken tortilla soup which was very good. Great service and inside it was very nice. Will definitely be coming back!
(5)Felicia M.
I finally made it to the Gotham West Market and it was worth it. Choza's fish tacos are delicious and I was able to wash them down with a Jarrito strawberry soda. I'll be back!
(4)David K.
(3)Kelly C.
(2)Jonathan Z.
(4)Hillary T.
The food isn't anything great and definitely overpriced. But what really bothered me was how rude the blue-haired cashier was. I'm a New Yorker and don't expect anyone to kiss my ass, but this person was especially unpleasant.
(2)Cece Y.
(2)sokdo l.
Food was average but service was good. If your looking for a quick bite of Mexican food in nyc this place will fill your needs. I really liked how it was in a little restaurant hub with about 5 different choices.
