On our way to the Q train to head back to Manhattan from Brighton Beach, we popped into Beyti Turkish Kebab for what was supposed to just be a bathroom break. That quickly turned into afternoon ginger-lemon tea and baklava. I never liked baklava until then. It was a perfect balance of flaky pastry, nutty goodness and just a little bit of sweetness. I would definitely come back for a casual meal next time I'm in the neighborhood.

The best gyros (doners) in Brooklyn. However the staff, especially the owner (the bald dude) have no understanding of customer service. The staff look miserable.

Consistently excellent food. Well prepared authentic tasting food. There hasn't been anything unique in Brighton in the last 10 years and I'm glad to see this place is gathering a crowd. Falafel platter is excellent and the babaganoush is smokey and creamy.

Ok, in terms of getting a good kebab or a gyro in the brighton beach area, this restaurant beats any competition. There is another Turkish place along the "Avenue" if you're walking east, as well as mobile service from food trucks but the taste and quality is better at Beyti , so is the freshness of ingredients. This is a really good spot if you want to meet a couple of friends for a quick meal, or as a take-out. The reason I did not give them five stars is because the customer service seems a bit spotty.. I called once to place order for delivery and the call was disconnected for some reason.. I think they take order via a cell phone? I call again, and the person taking the order did not acknowledge the dropped calls as if its bau (business as usual). There are some workers there who are super friendly and love what they do, but as with any fast food restaraunt in nyc, there is no consistency with the service, although they are much better than some. Overall, I do recommend this place if you happen to be in the area.

this place is in my neighborhood, so sometimes when i get the craving for turkish i come here but it wouldnt be my first choice. the food is good, but ive had better. prices are decent, but i took away 1 star because service is inconsistent. the guys are always nice and friendly, but the last two times i ordered they forgot to include my bread in the bag. so i come home unpack my food just to find out there is no bread...and i rly like bread. once is ok but this happened to me twice, so im disappointed and will avoid this place unless im really craving it and dont feel like traveling elsewhere.

I work near by this kebab place and it really improved! I wasn't crazy about the food from the beginning because of the taste but me and my mom wanted to give it another try. We normally order from them about 3x a week? Crazy isn't it? I normally would get are chicken chops on a rice platter with Turkish bread and a salad or I would simply get a chicken gyro on bread. The ingredients are so fresh and everything is grilled to perfection. If you want to keep your weight down, trust me, you can pig out with their dishes and you wont gain a pound. You will feel so satisfied, not stuffed, but satisfied.

Bad Service but good food ! The Shepard salad was great as was the Boreggi . Lamb kabobs were awesome and the rice was good also . Almond pudding was nice and creamy like I had it in Istanbul . So even though there is bad service ( waitress did smile , just disappeared) and alot of noise the food makes it worth the trip , just dont come looking for ambiance . Actually the bad ambiance actually gives it some ambiance :) well food is good and cheap what else do you need :)

This place is always packed..amazing shepard salad..don't leave w/o eating it..food is solid too

Nice basic Turkish: not as good as Istanbul Fast Food but much better than a halal cart. The doner is tasty if not as brown or crisp as I like. Rice pilaf with chickpeas is good. Red cabbage is a nice addition to their salad garnish. Good lentil soup. The large kebap platters, starting at $12, are enough for two, with an appetizer if you like.

Great food. Fresh ingredients. Fast and friendly service. A very pleasant surprise today. I have passed this place many times but today was the day to try Beyti Turkish Kebab and I'm very glad I did. Excellent experience. A++

WORST Turkish food ever! and I'm not picky about take out. I decided to try it based on good reviews on seamless. not sure what all those people are smoking or maybe they never had good Turkish food before. spicy ezme appetizer was bitter. i tried it and threw it out. the gyro plate came without lettuce onions or tomatoes. in all other Turkish food restaurants a gyro plate ALWAYS comes with lettuce tomatoes onions. it was just rice and meat. the meat was terrible and it didn't smell so good. shepherd salad was tasteless. basically a waste of money. I ended up throwing everything out. never again. and I ordered at lunch time when food is supposed to be fresh and good..

  • Lisa F.

Boy have they gone downhill in the past month! Their food is still delicious, but their portion sizes have been cut in half, and the last time I ordered delivery, the baba ghanoush I ordered was missing. Had to wait an additional half hour for them to bring that after waiting over an hour for the original order, *and* when I finally got my baba ghanoush, my pint sized order arrived as a whopping 1/4 cup portion! Doubt I'd go through the hassle of ordering from them again.

  • Martin G.

Great turkish food, can't go wrong with the chicken kebab and shepherd salad. They are also opened until 11 PM so great for the late night runs. Quick on preparing the food as well, out the door in less than 10 minutes.

We ordered the large app platter and a falafel to share. All were really good and fresh and plenty to bring home.

  • Bulent A.

Beyti is one of the best Turkish food you can get. Their shawarma (doner) is pretty good. Meat is very juicy on the kebabs and also their portions are huge. They lean on inexpensive side. I would`t recomment if you looking a fancy restaurant but it`s very good for everyday lunch or dinner. Also i can vote for their lahmacun. it is the best so far. Beyti.. All day every day ..

You ain't getting top design in these joints, but they do know how to make food. Throw in some sexy (though she didnt know it about herself) kazahk looking girl with nice knockers and a tiny round ass and I'm a happy camper. Oh, and the price is right, too! Enjoy!

I ve been there about 7 times. Always the best food and great prices. It gets crowded , so you might have to share a table with others. Fresh food and a really good cook .

I like their falafel sandwich and hummus. Delivery didn't take very long.

It was like eating in Istanbul and then going over to the Black Sea after dinner. The restaurant is in Brighton Beach Brooklyn. We were the only non Turkish people there! The website doesn't seem to be working in spite of the restaurant menu saying it does. This is a download of the entire menu. whereyoueat.com/Beyti-Tu… I went to a Turkish restaurant in Manhattan called Sip Sak (see my pictures) and they advertised on the menu that they have Turkish chicken wings. But when I got to Sip Sak they said it is only a special and they only have it on occasion. We found this in Brighton Beach and they do have Turkish chicken wings! They have a special oven where they make special Turkish dishes often called Turkish pizza and Turkish bread. They make it fresh daily from 3:30 PM -5:30 PM Here at Beyti Turkish Kebaob they have Lahmacun Portion.. Sucuklu Kasarli Pide, Karisik Pide, Kasarli Pide Kiymali Pide. Their Turkish pizza is the largest we have had and was delicious and addictive! We ate like animals and made a mess! Several of the Turkish restaurants we have been to do not have this oven or these dishes. But if you have not had Turkish pizza do yourself a favor and try it especially if you are lactose intolerant. There is no cheese on it! They make their own Turkish bread or Pide here too! They give you as much as you can eat or ask for! I heard from someone Turkish that I know that they are known for Kebobs. But we did not have any Kebobs. I think the highlight of the meal was the Turkish pizza and the Turkish chicken wings. They were marinated and super juicy! We also had "chicken chops". I have never had that before! It was like a pork chop cooked on a grill but it was chicken! It was slightly dry but came with 2 sauces. But the grill taste was really good! yummly.com/recipes/turki… I have looked on different Turkish menus outside of NYC and they have that. It tastes kind of like chicken Kebabs without the stick. The sauces that it came with were really good! But the wings were the highlight. We had a vegetarian combination platter. It was okay. Not bad not great. But it is nice to have a vegetarian platter. The service was really fast and professional! We ate like animals the portions were a good size and the price was in expensive. They had a good list of desserts that we did not have room for! Turkish Kebab is very casual, more like a take out with a few tables. The restaurant was doing tons of take out business. And the tables were all full! The restaurant is within walking distance to the beach as well. So if you are looking for great food at inexpensive prices near Brighton Beach, this is it!

This was the first place I had gyro maybe around three years ago, and now I'm the gyro queen of the universe! I walked in with my then boyfriend (now my husband, aww) and his guy friends, they all order gyros and I sit there and order a Snapple, refusing to eat this manly strange food. He starts eating, remarking on how amazing it is and that I must be insane not to give it a shot. "You eat everything inside of it, whats the problem?" he said, and he was right.. Chicken.. check! Lettuce... yep! Tomatoes... that too! Onions.... check! Cucumbers... Yum! RED CABBAGE.. My favorite! He made me take a bite, and that's where it began, we started to come to this location at least once a week for the next year or so, besides from its symbolic meaning to us, their superb chicken gyro had red cabbage inside, a real treat, because till this day other places do not include that in their sandwich. We then discovered Memo Gyro on Kings Highway. We took a long break from Beyti on Brighton. We liked Memo's setting a little better, and the all over experience we found to be a little better. Maybe 6 months since our last visit, we ventured back to Beyti. It was under new management. Orange walls.... it was kind of a red flag, yikes! The food at this point was was really sub par. The chicken gyro was really bland, and basically had no flavor, the added some kind of orangey flavor to the entire thing, pretty gross, and it was extremely oily. We didn't go back for another 6 months. My last time there, new management. Beige walls this time, more my forte. That relaxed me a little bit, and we began to order. The wine glasses we were given for our Snapples was pretty hilarious. I was laughing for a good five minutes straight! The food came, and i wasn't as disappointing, it was edible, but not as amazing as Kings Highway. We haven't been back since. It used to be the best, and it has just fallen down the chain. (review #200, yay me!)

Nice place to grab a bite on your way back from Brighton Beach. Their bakalawa is to die for too!

I have eaten here about 3 times, 2 when they first opened, and once this week.. I have to agree with Rosanna; this place has really improved.. I usually eat at Anatolian on Sheepshead bay, but i think i have converted.. Everything was very fresh (and i came in at 9:30 pm) and tasty. I got a chicken gyro wrap (opt for this instead of pita sandwich; it hold together better and can feed 2 for about $7) I got the works inside the wrap with humus, some creamy white sauce that i can only compare to cacik, and i also got feta cheese inside the wrap.. they also have fresh squeezed juices.

REALLY delicious fresh Turkish food. The ambiance doesn't exist, this has nothing to do with the interior. This is ALL about food. I am raving about this place to everyone i know that sets foot into that neighborhood. Very generous portions.

  • Gomar H.

This place isnt as good as Istanbul or Sahara, but it's centrally located in the Russian hood I frequent. It is a bit too noisy for such a small place, and tables are packed too tightly for my tastes. Prices are about average, service is slow. I am glad they dont blast silly Russian muzak, or have a TV set to Russian mobsters chasing each other. The waiter did not call me when my order was done, I had to pick it up my self. The food was just ok, but atleast the gyros are real, not the fake ones served in that chicken/pizza place 2 blocks away. Overall, for quick bite, or take out it's ok.

Brighton Beach Ave. is an absolute wonderland of culinary delights- until about ten o'clock, that is. After that, it's dead, and if you want any hot food, you're basically out of luck. You can head over to Surf Avenue to go eat overpriced french fries in the summer, you can keep walking towards Sheepshead Bay, or you can stop in at Beyti. My boyfriend lives in the neighborhood, and usually, if we're hanging out in the evening by his place, we end the night at Beyti. It's open til around 11 on weeknights, and later on weekends, which is pretty much unheard-of for the area. They don't mind if you BYOB, they have excellent coffee and tea, and are very clean and homey. They're also a good place to bring a crowd earlier in the day or after the dinner rush. I almost always get the same thing- a falafel sandwich on 'homemade bread', which is to say, on a fluffy round of Turkish pide, soft and crusty and dotted with seeds. It's amazingly hearty and delicious and comes heaped with fresh vegetables and creamy, tahini-heavy hummus, and with yogurt sauce and amazing hot sauce on the side. I can also recommend their french fries, ezme salad, and bean salad, and my father says their lamb kebab is very good. Also, they have great Turkish sodas in the fridge. I definitely recommend this place as a healthier, more economic, vegetarian-friendly way to round out a day at the beach.

I had their food delivered, and even though the delivery was relatively quick, the food was not worth what they charged. In fact, it was the worst kebab I've ever had, and it was overpriced. Both chicken and lamb were so tough & dry! Even the chicken! I couldn't even finish a half of it. What a waste of money!

    (1)
  • Biana Y.

Atrocious. Quality of food im absolutely arrocious. The lamb gyro tasted worse than street carts' gyros. The guy behind the counter was super unpleasant as well. Never, ever, ever again. Gross

As other reviewers mentioned, the neighborhood is home to a plethora of Turkish places, as well as many other types of cuisine. This family-run cafe is a welcome addition to Brighton Beach. Delicious, authentic Turkish food, at prices that can't be beat. I've ordered different gyros and desserts from there. Always fresh, hefty portions, and other Turks walk in and order from there, so I know that they appreciate the authentic taste as well. On a side note: if you are out drinking at one of the outdoor bars on the boardwalk, most places on Brighton Beach close around 9-10pm. I ran in there with a friend a few minutes before midnight, and the owner was the last person there, he was happy to serve us. It closes late, so make it your go-to stop after a few or many beers with friends.

  • Lindsey M.

LOVE their falafel wraps and for $5 you can't beat the price for a meal. I'd eat here all the time if we lived in the area. Great unassuming spot for grabbing a bite and walking over to the Brighton Beach boardwalk in the summer time. The service is usually just average which is why I haven't given it 5 stars (plus parking can be tough to find). We pay for the beach parking a street behind since it's not too expensive and way less stressful than searching for street parking with such impatient drivers in the area.

  • Cine M.

My one and only place when I am in Brighton Beach. The portions are huge and the prices are unbeatable for what you get! The owner is also the chef and while he works at 12 hours shift, he's always happy to serve you. If you go, a must is the kofte kebab (wonderfully seasoned juicy beef patty pita style sandwich), mixed appetizer (get the yogurt/garlic/cucumber omg it's so amazing that for three of my five choices I get three choices of this) and the sheperd's salad with feta cheese (culinary orgasm!). Ingredients are fresh and they hook you up with delicious warm homemade bread.

this place is well worthy of four stars and i'm going to tell you why every single item is hot and fresh off the grill, I have never ever seen this place serve frozen items some items that are worth trying here is the shepherd salad , they are generous in feta cheese and it has tons of flavor, its not too heavy either but it hits the spot, the portion is large enough for two the cigar rolls were airy, fluffy, not too oily, and thick the wraps are excellent, im a huge fan of their falafel wrap which is plentiful and of the adana [the chicken had a nice spice to it] wrap too, once again so much flavor in all items the eggplant salad was a bit smoky but it was unique and filling, tastes good with the fresh pide bread, you can also opt for hummus with all orders the lamb gyros are solid, they put it on hot pita bread off the grill, its a challenge to finish it, they aren't stingy on the amount of meat they give the fries are amazing over there, super crunchy and addicting, not too salty or oily, that pile of fries is well worth the wait the lahmacun is huge, that is one of my favorite items that I cant resist, it mimics a pizza with all types of meat and spices on top overall the service is very good, they all are friendly and know the menu by heart so they can answer all questions, the food is decently priced, you'll probably spend between 10-20 at most since these portions are large enough to share, you can sit down and chill or take it to go, and they do deliver as well, the smells alone in this place will probably excite you there is a home and cozy feel to this place, very casual and laidback, you feel like your sitting in your parents house, they bring the taste of Turkey to you only thing that holds me back from giving 5 stars is the bathroom which was gross with no proper soap and toilet paper dispensaries , seriously they need to renovate and clean it.

**Take Out Review Only** Tried Beyti Kebab back on 7/12/15 while spending the day at the Brighton Beach with a small group of family and friends. One of my beach buddies recommended it so we decided to give it a shot. The place was two blocks away from where we were set up on the beach so it was very convenient to get to. Since we ladies stayed behind we took the order to go. While I was waiting to order, I happened to look around the restaurant and noticed that it was clean and pretty busy. That was a good sign. For my group, I ordered two Chicken Gyros, two Lamb Gyros (served in wrap bread), and a large order of fries. They were both out of this world. Not only were they absolutely delicious, but they were tremendous too. The girls in the group took 1 look at the gyro and were shocked at how big they were, so they decided to split one in half and share. Here's the best part...the gyros are $7 each. $7!!! A sandwich this big and this good goes for double in Manhattan. (Beyti..don't go jacking up prices now after reading my review haha) The reason I am giving this place 4 stars and not 5 is because of 1 mistake with my order. My gyros did not have any sauce on them. Luckily the juices from the marinated chicken and lamb gave the sandwich some flavor, but it wasn't enough. Also, the fries came without ketchup. No one likes to eat fries without ketchup. If you're every in the area and have a taste for Turkish/Mediterranean food, I would totally recommend this place to you. I know if I'm ever back in that part of Brooklyn I would go back.

This was perfect authentic and.... at the risk of being redundant, for a good cause, delicious, simple, and amazing. You get what you pay for in a good way. First timers might want to try the lamb kebab dinner and baba ganoush. Five stars for the food! The smile of the server and the cooks that thanked me on the way out just made it unquestionably a 5 star-er.

    (5)
  • Nasim S.

The food was amazing but the service was beyond horrible. The two stars was for the horrible service because the girls were extra bitchy. As for the food it gets a 5 star. One girl was nice.

  • Anthony M.

This place is great and the fact that they are willing to deliver all the way up by me makes it even better. The lentil soup is top notch and the kebabs always have the perfect char. They have never messed up my order and have never delivered without a smile. I could easily walk down the street and go get the same food but I would rather give this place my business.

One of my favorite things about traveling in Europe (particularly Germany) is the prevalence of Turkish doner kebab stands, which are far more delicious than our beloved halal food carts. I'd always been really frustrated that I can't find any kebab in the US that tastes like the stuff you get in Europe, until I found this place. The chicken doner sandwich here is AWESOME and is served with remarkably fresh tomatoes, cabbage, and lettuce, with the red and white sauces just like they serve over the Atlantic (these are not the same as the "hot sauce / white sauce" of halal food fame). If I am ever in Brighton Beach (not often) I make it a point to stop here. So good.

Great Turkish fast food joint, serving all the classics at diner prices with big portions. Worth a visit when in Brooklyn and craving Turkish. I would give it a 4th star if it were a bit cleaner and the ambiance a bit more refined, but all in all well worth it.

I have eaten here a few times, this time I ordered the lamb shish rice dish. It was fine, the lamb tasted good the rice was very watery. I asked for some water and they gave me a bottle of water. I just wanted some tap water and they told me they don't give tap. This is not true since I saw ppl with glasses of water and no bottles. I thought restaurant have to give patrons water if they requested, I need to look up the law. I recommend the sandwhichs.

I have gone to this restaurant plenty of times. Not once was I not served water. This time they refused to give me tap water. My friend with us needed to take medication and needed water. After ordering we asked 3 times for water and the waitressess ignored us. We ordered coffee and other drinks never got them. We spoke to the owner. He was rude and said "this is fast food" "we dont serve water! you can buy it" Since when now do we in NYC have to be forced to not be served tap water. Along, with this poor service, we received our food late. Others around us got their food sooner. The waitress ignored us the entire time. She wouldnt even give us our check even asking and waiting 15 mintutes for it. I'll never go to this medicore food establishment again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is some of the most delicious Turkish food I have ever eaten!! We ordered in a feast: including the combination kabob (with beef and chicken kabob), ground chicken and lamb kabob, Shepard salad, vegetarian combo platter, tabouli, fresh homemade bread, salad and rice pudding. Wow!! The food was so deliciously flavored and light and fresh!! We all overate since it was so flavorful!! We will definitely be ordering from here again!! Thank you fellow yelpers for writing about this wonderful gem of a place!! Thank you for making such delicious and fresh wholesome food for my family (across 4 generations) to enjoy together!!

When I travel to New York City, I take the Verrazano and Belt Parkway route just to stop at this place. Close your eyes and you're in Adana, Eskisehir or Bursa. As good as Turkish grub gets with a complete and comprehensive selection including must haves such as Iskendar Kebab (yummy thinly shaved lamb covered with Tomato sauce and thick yogurt on pieces of fried pita...), excellent Pide, Cigara Burek and the fifth star is given because their Manti is outstanding (that is if you're lucky enough to come in when it's available...). The best Turkish cuisine can get - this "ethnic" restaurant truly reflects its ethnicity and authenticity.

Judging by delivery order only (never had dinner at the actual restaurant). The place seems to have pretty good reviews and prices aren't bad so I decided to order through Grubhub ... Called after about an hour and ten min (20 min past what the expected delivery time was on grub) and couldn't really get a straight answer about my order. Finally got it about 20 or so minutes later. I must say - it was absolutely not worth the hour and a half wait. The mixed grill we ordered was pretty dry, not much of a flavor (aside from salt) and completely lacked that smokiness you'd expect from grilled meats. The chicken kebab was also quite dry ... I guess someone hasn't mastered the art of preparing chicken without drying it out ... They charged $1.75 for feta on the Shepherd salad, would have been nice if there was actually $1.75 worth of cheese on the salad. The sigara boregi is greasy and .. Plain greasy, didn't like it. Well, at least babaghanoush wasn't half bad. Blah, how disappointing and frustrating ...

I love to have lunch there after I go to the beach. Very nice people and tasty turkish food all the time. I love to order delivery from them as well. After they renovated their dining room, it became more enjoyable to dine in. Good job, guys, keep that way.

This place makes great kebabs. Salad and veggies are always fresh (maybe the other reviewer was there on a bad day.) The babaganoush and hummus are so good. Not gritty or overly fibrous. I also really love their falafel, it's crispy on the outside, delicate on the inside and has a nice flavor. The service is very friendly and I love that they deliver. We order from them once or twice a month. Eating in is fast if you need to. If you get a gyro sandwich/pita order it on their homemade bread. it's a little extra but it makes it so delicious. The portion is so generous it'll make two lunches if you cut it in half. This is my favorite fast/cheap place in the neighborhood.

  • Zeynep A.

The lahmacun there are good, i would order again just for the lahmacun but they tell me that the delivery takes 45 minutes and i get my food more than an hour later FROZEN. There is absolutely no point in eating Lahmacun if it comes so cold. I dont want to have to heat it in the microwave again, in my opinion, takes the taste out. This happened multiple times. Every time i order my food, it comes cold. I tell the lady on the phone EVERY time that my food comes cold can she make sure its warmer this time but nope, every time it comes cold. Its so unappetizing. Could you be more careful? You'll lose customers that way. Like me and my family for example.

This place is great. We live a few blocks away and eat here at least once a week. I have not had anything from here that isn't delicious, and their hummus is the best I have ever had. I have never had any problems with the service. everyone has always been friendly, which is rare when it comes to restaurants in this neighborhood.

Food quality has gone down. Greasy meat and soggy salads when you order. I love their hummus but it seems everything else is old or watered down. Like the lentil soup.

  • Tabatha K.

Every time we go to Brighton Beach....we stop here for lunch. And I stop off again....before we go back to Manhattan....to get salads to bring home. The food is delicious. Just one critique. You don't give "free water" any longer. Go back to the small paper cups...so if someone just wants a sip or needs it to take a pill...they don't have to buy a bottle. (I'm not saying to give an 8 oz glass with ice.) I do understand the reason for not giving water....but when we spend about $50 for 2 people...I think a drop of water should be included. That's why you lost a star.

Went here late one evening recently when in the area. We were walking down the avenue trying to find a quick meal before hopping the subway, and couldn't find anything until we walked past this restaurant and could smell it from across the street. We stopped and went, "that smells amazing. that's where we will eat tonight!" We ordered 3 dishes between us, the falafel, the lamb gyro, and another similar platter. Honestly, we would have been fine with just the one platter between us! The food was all good (and the bread, fresh baked, is to die for), and the portions were huge. They asked if we wanted dessert, and while they looked fun to try, we were honestly too full! Will definitely return in the future with friends.

Review for delivery to my parents' place in Coney Island for a semi-epic Meet-the-Parents dinner: -Fast (maybe 25-30 minutes tops). -Very good food -Friendly prices (as I would expect from a Brooklyn Turkish place). The baba ghanoush and hummus were the real deal, as was the eggplant salad (reminding me of Odessa-style eggplant salad). The pide bread was OK but not transcendent. I like it just a tad fresher, even on delivery. Everyone enjoyed their mains, including the branzino, salmon and chicken kebabs, doner and adana, and the iskender (doner gyro with yogurt). Plenty of salad, too with each dish, in separate containers! One word of advice: small (as in portion, because ordering large will just increase tomorrow's lunch leftovers). No complaints!

Walked 15 minutes in the rain and saw this place via yelp. Well.. great spot. Big portions. You can order appetizer and 1 main and be full. Taste is tender and nicely cooked.. No negatives found. Enjoy your meal!!

Food is always good but COMPLETELY overpriced. I ordered delivery for a one person meal at it was $28!

I ordered the Gyro and was greatly disappointed. The meat was salty and dry. The pita was nonexistent. They gave me a roll on the side to put everything in. I mean WTF is a gyro without pita bread -_-

I do love getting the salmon kabob here along with their fresh baked bread which is done on premise. The lamb is very tender and at times get combination plates with lamb gyro. I took a friend here for her first time and she couldn't wait to come back another time. It can get crowded at times with warmer weather because beach crowds going to Brighton Beach. Which with that said if going to the area one can stop by to eat prior to going to boardwalk or walking towards Coney Island which is bit further but less expensive than eateries out by Coney Island. I have not eaten the chicken kabob or chicken wings, have tried the chicken gyro which was good but wasn't as great as the lamb gyro. When I have eaten the lamb gyro I tend to ask it a btoa ore toasted and they really give a nice hefty amount in your sandwich. At times you need to get your fork and eat away at it to be able get a mouthful, not that I'm complaining, just that good and that full. Plus you can ask for it in a wrap or in their baked bread which when out of the oven makes it taste that much better. Granted a few people gave low ratings but a person should just go and judge themselves

My rating and review is based on customer service experience only. I can't say anything bad about kebabs or those who makes it. It used to be my fav spot for a quick lunch. I even brought my friends there a couple of times. But sorry, never again. Never. When someone comes in and REQUEST, BEGS the waitress/cashier to get chicken kebab (not lamb, not lamb and chicken, not beef but CHICKEN), please make sure you bring your customer the right thing, okay? We request certain things for a reason right? Somebody hates onions, somebody has nut allergy, I happened to hate red meat. I can't stand the smell, the look and everything about it. It is phycological and connected with my past. I didn't choose it. I don't eat it since the age of 6. I don't know why. What I do know is that meat freaks me out and disgusts me and I cannot control it. When I got my kebab, I asked the girl who works there if that was a chicken kebab, she said yes. When I got back to the car I knew there was something wrong with my kebab. Yes, I smelled meat. Red meat doesn't smell like chicken. And yes, it was meat. I don't understand how can someone make such mistake when I asked her 20 times please make sure there is nothing but chicken in my kebab. Of course I expressed my dissatisfaction. The manager or the owner happened to be there and he changed kebab to a chicken one saying something like 'oh it's not a big deal'. Seriously?! I lost my appetite and gave my kebab to someone else and I was really upset for waisted $9. If you are like me ALWAYS check what your kebab consists of, especially if you are getting it in Beyti Turkish Kebab. I am not too hard to please and usually don't write negative reviews but this is unforgivable kind of mistake.

I just spent a day working on the ASPCA's mobile spay/neuter van, which was parked right in front of this place. Being a lover of gyros, souvlaki, and middle eastern food, I instinctively went in. The guy at the counter was super nice, and informed me that their gyros were great (although a display case full of all kinds of kebabs, skewered on mini steel swords looked tempting). I got a lamb gyro and a chicken gyro. Each came stuffed w/ delicious gyro meat and let/tom/onion toppings w/ a side of white yoghurt-based (tzadiki) sauce and also a side of Harissa type red hot pepper sauce. All I can say is yummmm!

we were originally just going to stop in and buy a bottle of water to justify running in to use their bathrooms...but the tractor beam of fresh baklava grabbed a hold of me! I CANNOT...YET I MUST! sitting right there on the counter are pre-packaged plastic portable platters of pistachio-y pleasantries (alliteration mode!). but, my friend, take a seat, and relax. you'll get a dish of 4 decently-sized pieces, slightly warmed up and brought to you by the friendly staff. the contrast of layers of dough, the slight crunchyness of the pistachio bits, the sweet-but-not-hurt-your-teeth-sweetness from just a bit of syrup...this was great stuff! we also had 2 large cups of tea. total was seven bucks. not bad for an afternoon dessert stop in Brighton Beach! now, just so you don't get the wrong impression - this isn't a bakery. they only have a few desserts; most of the menu is actually lunch/dinner stuff like doner, shish kebab, gyros, falafel, and other. I'm definitely going to give that stuff a try next time I am here, as the prices looked cheap and the other people eating these meals looked satisfied. atmosphere? it was actually very similar to the layout of your stereotypical New York pizzeria (glass counter, big menu, those standard wooden table/seat combos). in fact, I wonder if this wasn't a pizzeria back in the day. it was quite busy on Saturday afternoon but there were still plenty of seats (I want to say it seats about 30 people or so). tables and seats were very clean, and the staff were fast. I'll be back...but yo, when is Yelp gonna give us fat FUCs some officially licensed sweatpants?!

I finally found a turkish restaurant that is almost as good as Angora in Medford. Take the B or Q to Brighton Beach to find this gem in a most unusual neighborhood. The shepard salad is fresh and excellent. You must try it! The kebabs are pretty good, my only complaint is that the portion of meat is small, especially for 13 bucks! I usually order the lamb kebab and doner. They have both lamb and chicken doner. They are both nicely spiced and marinated. They are generous with bread as well. Don't expect fancy decor in this establishment. It has more of a pizzeria feel to it.

Beyti Kebab is a great spot for grabbing food to take to the beach! The vegetarian options are awesome, everything is super flavorful, and their homemade breads are warm and delightful! The hummus is SO flavorful and creamy - possibly my favorite hummus EVER which is really saying something. I can't speak to the meat, but all the vegetarian stuff I've had is delicious. It's super casual in there, though you can sit down and get table service if you want. I tend to prefer to take it home or out to the boardwalk though. Seriously superior place!

The lamb gyro pita is a perfect snack for two. It's full of flavor and only two blocks from the beach. For $5.75 it can't be beat.

What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, i've lived in Brighton for over 20 years and Beyti brings flavor back into the neighborhood. the waitresses are pleasant and the food is perfect, i can taste the adana and grilled shish as i write this, plus having ayran and tamek turkish drinks is a huge plus. I've always stopped by for some rice pudding when i want to satisfy my sweet tooth. The best thing about them is that i've witnessed that they aren't judgemental and cater to all the ethnic people of the neighborhood with the same warm demeanor; russians, italians, turks, tajiks, desis, latinos and arabs the same. Kudos to you Beyti, thank you for making me feel at home.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
