I'm working in the town of Greensburg all day and I'm hungry lunch time could not come any quicker so i dropped some paperwork at the greensburg water department drove by a little shopping center i saw a sign saying pizza by the slices so i walked in expecting a pizzeria but to my surprise very good looking restaurant so instead of a slice togo i got a table for lunch was greeted and seated right away, very clean even though the are working on one of the restroom anyway i order a slice and a pull short rib on a panini came with a soup and salad everything tasted good but not a big fan of the bbq sauce on the short rib sandwich next time I try something else

This is owned by the owners of the original pizza & brew. The place was upgraded with nicer interior decor. I would give this 3 stars as I don't think or may not have tried the dishes comparable to those in little Italy. The spaghetti bolognese was bland. The chicken Marsala and the calamari were delicious.

Good spot. The inside/ambiance is way better than it seems from the outside. Good service. Food was really good too, tasty & generous portions. Good option to have in this neighborhood as not much else around unless you go into White Plains downtown.

Neighborhood Italian Restaurant always serves really good food. Ambiance is very relaxed, the dining room is very comfortable. And prices are very reasonable.

Located in a strip mall, the food was surprisingly very good. I ordered the calamari which was very fresh, and all of our came out within a reasonable amount of time and hot. I would definitely go back. They also have a birthday special if you go in on the day of your actual birthday :-)

Solid red sauce joint that's been around forever. It does the job. You can't go wrong with the fried calamari or any of the pastas- large portions, too. I, however, have never been a fan of their pizza. But I am more than happy to come here and get anything else on the menu.

Love the elegant, new decor. I've always found the food consistently good and a bargain as well. The entree's are excellent, however the pizza can be a bit too soggy in the middle (which doesn't happen when taken out), but overall this is a reliably yummy place to take out of town friends and meet with old ones.

I've lived in the area for years and this always seemed like a low end bar time pizzeria.. I was really surprised by the quality of food and the prices are very fair. I go at least a couple of times a month now.

I was a once a month customer at P&B for about 18 years. I'm sorry to say that with the name comes a paired down menu, and a higher total meal cost. I feel that P&B was a great place to take the kids for a Sunday special Italian meal, or order a very decent quality pie but not at any of the Racanelli's locations I've tried. The staff is still friendly and helpful but, in my opinion, the prices have increased while the quality has dropped. I've read the other reviews and although Alex addressed each customers issue, I no longer patronize this location or the Central Ave location. I strongly recommend that you do the same.

I am surprised by my own review. Our group of four were headed to the Bow-Tie Cinema next door, and this was the closest restaurant to our destination. The Yelp reviews were positive, but none of us had been to a Pizza and Brew in decades...yes, that long. So expectations were not high. Lets move on to how this visit exceeded all of our expectations... We had called two other highly rated places to make our Saturday night reservation. No reservations for a party of four. Not at the Korean restaurant - not at the Italian restaurant. We had a movie to see, and we needed a commitment. So my wife calls here and the manager says - don't worry, we don't take reservations but we will make sure you are fed and get to your movie. We start to believe... We arrive and the manager greets us and states "you have the 9:00 movie." They have a table "set aside" for us. Wow. We take immediate advantage of the full bar, with martinis, prosecco and rum & coke. The ample menu offered a large "small plate" selection, as well as salads, entrees and nightly specials. Appetizers of rice balls and mozzarella sticks are both huge and delicious. The rice balls- Aroncini - were killer, and the cheese sticks were thick, rich and just the right amount of melty. Sadly there were cried of "we are full" after round one. Entrees of Sunday Gravy with braised short rib, bracciole, sausage and meatball wee good. The gravy could use some more garlic and richness, and the pasta was a bit overcooked, but it was otherwise solid. The Pork Chop Valdestano received raves and the triple play small plates were all good. We were so full and we all took food home. Service was prompt and efficient. Ambience was just fine. We all left happily fed, and pleasantly surprised.

We have lived in the neighborhood for 40 years and never had a bad meal at Racinelli's Pizza and Brew. The pizza is always a favorite with our out-of-town family, and we have ordered from both the luncheon and dinner menus for everything from panini to lobster or zuppa di peche. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is always delicious. This place is a perennial winner.

Stopped by for a afternoon meal after a little Christmas shopping we found this particular Pizza & Brew to be disappointing. The starter bread (with olive oil) was stale and dry. No doubt yesterday's leftovers - if not longer. Two Panini Sandwiches were ordered. The Smoked Turkey with avocado, cheddar cheese / bacon & sun dried tomato pesto and the Eggplant Parmigiana. Included with both were tasteless prepackaged tater tots (just like the ones Mom bought from the market - ugh.) The processed turkey was finished and - six hours later - the knot in my stomach still exists (you pay for your hunger). My wife's Eggplant was manageable as she ate half of the sandwich (no knot for her) while bringing the rest home. Service was quirky. Once seated menu's were given while soft drinks were ordered. Two other waiters then asked if we wanted drinks. Communication breakdown here. Similar issue when ordering our meals. Three different waiters asking if we're ready to order while I'm still reviewing the menu. Pressured I finally gave up and picked the turkey. The prices here are reasonable but in the end you get what you pay for. For large families ordering pizza etc. the experience may be better but for a couple stopping in for a quick bite after holiday shopping - venture to your local diner...

I really liked this place, and despite the fact that my life kind of fell apart after eating here, I'm giving it a good review. This doesn't look like the type of place that belongs in a shopping center, and the name implies a more casual ambiance than what it has. I loved the place. I loved the penny-tile floors, the booths, it's really nice. The service was great. We were asked if we wanted a rounded booth or a table. We chose the booth. They brought bread (great pizza bread) with olives in olive oil. Very nice. I had a sangria, he had wine. For dinner I had tilapia oreganata, and he had broccoli rabe in pasta. Both were delicious and huge. I wound up bringing more than half of my dinner home. Too bad I left it in his fridge when I walked out that night, but hey, I'm sure he'll enjoy it. Service is great, food is great, place is pleasant on the eyes. Nice. Loved it. Hated what came next, but into every life a little rain must fall. I do think it's a nice place, a good place for date night. Have some wine, relax, and enjoy the food. It's worth it.

Coincidentally I went to the other Pizza and Brew the same week and this one paled in comparison. While the atmosphere was nicer, the prices are significantly higher, the service was slow and the food wasn't as good. My panini came with a small side of potatoes. It seemed like an odd side for a sandwich and when I ordered the waiter refused to swap it out for a few lettuce leafs. The sandwich also came on soggy bread. My friends gnocchi with chicken was disappointing. The tiramisu however was great.

Dinner there tonight. Loads of small plate appetizers including delicious and generous serving of Mac and Cheese. I had a perfectly cooked cheeseburger w potato fries , tomato, lettuce onions. Very good. Perfect before or after the movie nearby with modest price bar. Cloth napkins , great service.

We went here as a group of four between 530 and 6 p.m. On this past Saturday night. we were seated immediately the post and the waiters were excellent all throughout the night . We had an excellent bottle of Nero d'Avola for $25....appetizers were large and excellent and although some might think a little pricey they were well worth it . Try the Arancini! I had the sunday gravy bowl with braised short ribs, braciole, sausage, & meatball with rigatoni in a fresh pomodoro sauce ... enough food for two served with for generous slices of garlic pesto crostini. Had more than my share and took home a generous portion. one of our other party had the veal and proclaimed that excellent When we are in the area we will be sure to come back . The pizza looks excellent as well as the calzones and I am sure in the future we will try all of that . The White Plains area has hundreds of excellent restaurants and we have been going there on business for over 20 years . We will make this place a staple . Parking is difficult at this strip center tucked in an entirely residential area due to the movie theater there that shows eclectic and artsy first run features .

I dined here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed myself. The restaurant was recently renovated and it's looking great. The menu has a great selection with reasonable prices and large portions. To start we had Grilled Garlic Jumbo Shrimp, Baked Artichoke Stuffed with Breadcrumbs (a special), and Roasted Brussels Sprouts. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly, with no mushiness to be found. The dish delivered on its namesake's promise, with plenty of great garlic flavor. I hadn't eaten artichoke in a while and this version made me regret that fact. Buttery artichoke bathed in a zesty lemon white wine sauce was just what the doctor ordered. Rounding out the appetizers were the brussels sprouts. I've had a lot of brussels sprout dishes recently and this version was definitely one of the top. The addition of pancetta and honey truffle oil added a really nice salty/sweet element to the dish, one I'm going to try to recreate next time I make sprouts at home. For the entrée's we chose the Fettuccine Bolognese and Chicken Milanese. The pasta was well cooked, with a bit of firmness still in tact. The sauce was hearty and full of flavor, leading me to clean the bowl completely with my bread. Chicken Milanese rounded out the meal excellently. The breading was crispy but not too greasy and the pounded down chicken inside remained juicy. Milanese is such a satisfying dish to me, especially when it's done right like at Racanelli's. So overall, a great meal. Classic Italian done right at a great price point. There are few things more satisfying.

I don't know what some of the other reviewers are taking about, this place was amazing. I had the Lamb Sliders from the Italian Tapas/Small Plates menu, with three lamb sliders cooked to my specifications (med-well/well-done) on top of polenta. It was delicious, juicy, fragrant, perfect. And inexpensive! I also had the Racanelli's House Salad, which is meat- and egg-free, and is a mountain of well-chosen greens, olives, tomatoes, homemade croutons, and more. The fresh cheese was incredible, as was the house dressing. We guessed it was a creamy balsamic, but could not tell. The rest of my table ordered: The Mac and Cheese from the Italian Tapas/Small Plates menu, which was a large crock bubbling over with different cheeses and goodness. The Gnocchi, which was a huge platter and also came with a Caesar Salad and Pasta Fagioli soup. The Pasta Pomodoro, also a huge platter, coming with a pear and walnut salad and a chicken noodle soup. The Chicken Parmesan, again a huge platter, with ziti, coming with the pear and walnut salad and the minestrone. We were all amazed by the new decor (updated in the years we had last visited when it was Pizza and Brew), the menu choices, and the prices. We would love to go again. And soon!

First and last time customer. We figured they were busy since they said the delivery would take an hour, however it ended up taking 2 hours for them to deliver and we only live 5 miles away. To top it off, they delivered the wrong pizza.

Wow. We had such an amazing dinner here I kept grabbing staff members to let them know how good everything was! Growing up in the area, we went to Pizza and Brew all the time (I had my 10th birthday here!) and they really upgraded the balls out of it. Its so nice and new and the food was so good! I had the chicken sorrentino (pic uploaded) and added cherry peppers to it. It was so bomb. Wifey had gnocchi and it was most definitely made in house which is the only way to eat gnocchi. The prices were just right and holy hell, the dessert was massive! You don't see affogato (pic uploaded) everywhere but its very Italian and very delicious. These guys know whats up so get up and just head over to Racanelli's and enjoy!!

I used to go to the Pizza and Brew there, and was a little shocked it is now Racanelli's but hey food is food! I went with a friend on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. the place was crowded. We had to wait about 15 minutes before a waitress came to us, but by then the manager had noticed that she was nowhere to be found so he actually took our order (Got it wrong but hey he's just the manager). Anyway, I don't want to bash a place for one night. The food itself was actually very good! I ordered the Pasta Alfredo and my friend ordered a couple slices of cheese pizza with a chicken parm. All of the food tasted great as of course I sampled them all! I really like the look of the place. Very comforting and makes you feel as though you're in an 'upscale' type of pizzeria with decent prices and portion sizes. I will be going back to try their pizza. For right now it's 4 out of 5 stars. PS- If Racanelli's reads these reviews, the young man who was the bus boy that night (Around 8pm November 27th) was awesome. He came with the bread fast, came with the food fast, cleaned off the tables fast, and was working hard. He's a keeper!

Had high hopes but this was a disappointment. Food was way too salty and we could not eat our entrees. So now we've eaten here 3 times: the first time, the last time, and never again.

This is the worse place for Italian food! I ordered shrimp scampi and it was pan fried, no sauce and no flavor. My first dish I had to send back because it was super salty. This place is over rated and over priced for the quality of food. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I had a back problem and asked for a booth seat. Owner said I would have to wait longer. I did not want to wait because I needed to sit. There was a seat available with a cushioned back, and was saved for a party that did not use it. My back was bothering me. Owner did not connect to that at all. I could of sat there the whole time, it was wasted on no one. I felt very uncared for and in pain.

Yeah this place is horrible. Not including the tip, we had to pay 85.00 for our food when they gave us such little amounts. I was with some family and my mothers cheeseburger was undone and she had to send it back. Good service, though. I think that I could do better.

I went with my daughter a couple of weeks ago and everything was great. We started with the Calamari and it was delicious, hot, tender and perfectly seasoned. I dipped in the garlic aioli and the marinara. Both were excellent. Aioli can be a bit overpowering sometimes, but not this. The marinara was like my grandmother's. My daughter had the Napoletana Pizza and I had the Grilled Skirt Steak sandwich. Again, both were perfect. The steak was cooked to my desired doneness and the pizza was delicious and authentic (of course I had to help her finish it). I thought the portion size and the value were there. My daughter who is nine said to me as we left, "Wow, Dad, that was good. Can we go back again?" There is no better review than that.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years. Definitely liked it better before the renovations. Smaller portions and higher prices are what you find now. With that being said, the food is very good and they have a wide selection of menu options.
(4)Jeff B.
I do not understand why the other reviews are lower, this place serves awesome food! We got eggplant parmigiana and my daughter got baked ziti with sides of brussel sprouts and spinach, gosh - the flavor was immense and delicious, had to go there twice after trying other italian places in the area. The prices are a little higher but it was worth the food! It got me five stars compared to Rocco's in Staten Island that I grew up eating!
(5)Christine K.
Before they revamped this place the pricing was a great value for the food. However new changes weren't good changes. We used to be regular customers of their family feast (take-out). They increased the price for the family feast but decreased the portion size by half for the pasta & for the salad that comes with the package. Meat portion is about the same but it is exactly feeds no more than five adults now Food tastes the same though - good.

I'm surprised to see the low ratings this place. I used to go to the location on Central Ave for many years. I started coming to this location after they renovated the Central ave. location to a finer establishment. In either case, I recall the large portions, and good prices and the amazing food. The quality of the food is still amazing and I do not mind paying an extra dollar or so for it. The servings are smaller, but the entrees are still bring enough to share or pack leftovers for home. The service and ambience is very inviting. I have come here many times and will continue to be their patron.
(5)Chris N.
Went there for lunch. Very attentive and friendly staff. I had linguine with clams.....delicious! Prices were fine. Restaurant very clean. Can't wait to go again!
