The customer service is touch and go depending on whose behind the counter. The pizza is good. All different toppings always delicious! They also have deliciously insane deep dish pizza! The entrees are pretty good! STAY AWAY FROM THE SEAFOOD! Everything else is good though.

Before this experience we were very good customers at Italian Affair. Since they don't deliver to Bayside, we placed an order for pick up. We drove 20 minutes to get our food and made sure the server repeated the order to us before we left. When we finally got home, an hour after we placed our order, we opened the bag and it was completely wrong. We called back and asked to speak to the manager, figuring he would immediately send us the correct order even though we are not within their delivery parameters. Instead he was rude and refused. He told us if we wanted our food we could go back and pick it up. We explained that we are loyal customers and settled for a store credit. Then, he hung up on us. TERRIBLE SERVICE. I work in the food industry and would never treat my customers with such disrespect. We will not be returning.

This place is an ok spot for a quick bite. Nothing fancy or special. The pizza is good and friendly staff.

Been ordering from Italian Affair for about 9 years. I often order their tray of baked ziti and grilled chicken salad for parties and it never disappoints. Best of all, they're courteous and always on time.

I just called this restaurant from one town over and apparently they can't deliver here because their delivery man doesn't know our specific address and can not read English. He also doesn't know how to use a GPS. Not very customer friendly. Can't say anything about the food though!

Started few weeks back to this. Buffalo chicken pizza and barbecue chicken pizza are my favorites.

Grilled chicken salad comes with mushrooms, red onions, roasted red peppers, black olives, tomatoes, & green peppers on a bed of lettuce. You can customize your salad to your liking. I add jalapeños and feta on mine! Make sure you get your dressing on the side because it can get soggy fast. Comes with bread on the side. Opt out of their house dressing, it's really vinegary and too acidic, get ranch or Caesar instead. Fried calamari is also good. This is my to-go place when I'm in need of a great salad.

Good place to get a good meal quickly. Prices aren't that great but the portions are large and the food is home made style, very well cooked. The staff and owner is very nice and they offer delivery for free.

Best local pizzeria!! I have been going there for years and it's still amazing. The ingredients are fresh and their chicken salad really is the best chicken salad.

My favorite thing to get here is the grilled chicken salad. I think it's the best ever! It's $13.00 but it's for a really big round tray. I normally can share one of the salads with a second person. You have many options on what you like. They have fresh mozzarella but sometimes it can be to salty for me so I stick to feta. Their pizza is good too not as oily as other places. They also have fresh pastas and baked chicken which is great as well. Whenever in the need of a great salad after a work out this is the place to go to! They deliver also though lol

I've been coming here since I could remember. I grew up in Bellerose/Queens Village and to this day I can say it's the best pizza in the area. The cheese and sauce is tasty, the crust is perfectly crunchy. Definitely recommended if you're in the area!

I found this resturant one day heading towards 7 eleven. I only ordered pizza at first. I work around the area so options are limited. I hate salad but one day I decided to try it. It was the best salad I ever had. The grilled chicken was tasty and juicy, they put spinach leaves and lettuce. It had all my favs olives, Mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomato & to top it off feta cheese. The pastas are great also and your moneys worth. My advice if you are ordering for delivery its better if you pick it up. Its a lot faster. My only regret is I wish they had a bigger menu.

This the pizza store that I grew up on. The pizza is great but to me that is not what stands out. The guys who run the shop have great personalities and do their job well. They also been there for as long as I remember. A great place to have pizza.

I've been coming to this pizzeria since senior year of high school and now I'm 22. NOBODY can beat this place, NOBODY! If you're wondering about their catering, act quick and get optimistic because the quality and quantity makes the money you're about to spend worth it! I've been to many pizzeria's in Queens and Manhattan, but this place is Daddy.. If you're new to this place, order a chicken roll with marinara sauce on the side or chicken Parmesan plate. The garlic knots taste great, just don't get the ones all the way at the bottom because it accumulates grease. Guess what happens when you're on a date and u have too much grease? Thats right, you erupt shit and will be self-concious about gettin laid, unless your lady likes a distinct smell. The menu is really comprehensive and I'd be surprised if you walk out with nothing in your hand or belly. The only con is that sometimes the employees deal with money and use their bare hands to pick up your pizza. (THAT SHIT GOTTA CHANGE!) Nevertheless, great place with attentive employee's.

Prolly eat here 3-4 times a week for lunch. That saying, its excellent! The best is the lunch special plate! Highly recommended

I've been going to Italian Affair since I was a kid, so I may be biased but this place has never failed me! Their fresh pizzas and chicken salads are so good, garlic knots and calzones, reaaaally good too. Always the go to pizzeria when I want classic NY pizza :) Oh and $2 slices after 8pm on weekdays... works for me!

We've had the pizza, raviolis, spaghetti and meatballs, ceasar salad and several other dishes and they're always delicious. It's not my absolute favorite pizza but it's pretty good. Mostly I prefer the baked dishes. Also they have a really good drink selection.

Walked into this place and then right back out. Place did not look clean and the pizza looked like it'd been there for weeks. You know how the cheese has that "look of old" in places that don't have fresh pizza. That was this place top to bottom. I saw all the good reviews and figured I would drop in but I could not believe my eyes when I got there. Maybe during the day it has a different look but in the eve, beware. No wonder they have all slices after 8pm for $2

I will preface this by saying I only ever have pizza here, have never tried anything else on the menu. This place is alright in a pinch, but take-out pies / slices seem to consistently be thoroughly greasy to the point where the cheese tries to dive off when you grab one. Also not a huge fan of the large / coarse grain size corn meal / semolina flour (?) that's on the crust to release the pie from the peel, I swear this is the only pizza spot I ever go to that I have a problem with the grains being big / hard enough to get stuck in my teeth etc.

The pizza is great and after 8PM, all the slices are $2! My favorites are the Chicken&Tomato, Buffalo and Barbecue Chicken, White, and of course, the plain cheese slice! While those are great, the main dishes are better. All the dishes are served with a mini-loaf of semolina bread which is the *real* Italian bread and they are covered with olive oil (not cheap vegetable oil!) and garlic! My favorite dishes are Pasta with Broccoli, Garlic, Oil, and Chicken. It's hearty, tasty, and relatively inexpensive. For entrees, the Eggplant Parm and Shrimp Oreganata are must haves. They just started offering Cheeseburgers, fries (REALLY GOOD, not cheap, tasteless ones), and a fountain drink for $6.99! That's a full lunch and a drink for half of what you would get at McDonalds and the actual beef is Angus! For dessert, if they have any left because they sell out so quickly, definitely get some zeppoli and a cup of coffee or a Cappuccino- they have a real espresso machine and everything! The staff are also friendly, courteous, and helpful and are more than accommodating for any preference and needs! The owners are friendly and real Italians so they don't try and cut corners on things American restaurateurs usually do. Overall, I think that Italian Affair offers quality food, a casual ambiance, and an enjoyable experience! I would never look to go anywhere else for pizza, pasta, or sandwiches! Oh! And the Grilled Chicken Salad lives up to the banner out front! Beyond delicious!

I've known and been to Italian Affair a few times growing up primarily during highschool/college because my boyfriend at the time just had to have their chicken salad. I would have a slice or two and it was tasty but nothing entirely special to keep me coming back. And I never tried the salad because at that age I'm not even remotely interested in vegetables no matter how you dress it up. As more time passes on, other pizza places are just falling to shit in the neighborhood and it has pushed me back towards this place. It can be easy to miss next to 7-11, a chinese food spot and a cleaners but it does boast a huge banner expressing that they have some of the world's best chicken salad. Now all places feel compelled to blatantly lie and spout that there place is the best to entice passer-bys so I never really took stock in it. Today, after many years of not eating here I had their chicken salad and was blown away. While the lettuce is simply layered on the bottom, it's the other ingredients that steal the show and they are plentiful. Lots of fresh red onion, roasted peppers, fresh green peppers, black olives, tomato, mushroom and a really generous amount of grilled chicken with a light amount of seasoning. The dressing is very light and doesn't drench the salad but just gives it a nice citrusy taste. My mom went to pick it up for me and told them to put the mozzarella on the side with the thought I was concerned about calories to which I was GREATLY upset because I was already 3/4 done with it. The mozzarella was also very generous and had a nice taste and was far from bland like other places. It also comes with a roll that has to have some sort of Italian seasoning on it and it's so nice that they both include it and bother to even give it any taste (most places around here just tear off a loaf of Italian bread and throw it in a brown paper bag). It's a perfect pairing for getting the rest of the oil and vinegar based dressing that's left on the bottom. All of it was just really surprising in the plethora of ingredients and in the generosity of each. I can't yet vouch for the pizza but this chicken salad may be living up to the banner.

Ive been going there since 2001 the food was amazing at first, they used to have the best grilled chicken salad and baked ziti. Lately their stuff has become standard. Sometimes the salad has just lettuce and barely any other veggies and the sauce has lost its umph. I really wish they would go back to the olden days and start making that amazing food I used to enjoy while growing up. Pizza is okay

Best Chicken Salad EVER! Period. :))))
(5)Michael P.
Good Pizzeria with quality food. They lay out a variety of hot food dishes side by side for lunch, although I've only gone for the pizza and the chicken cutlet heros. The sauce is robust and definitely a little on the garlicy side, but overall tastes very good. The service behind the counter is very efficient and friendly. The only drawback I see with this place is the single row parking, as it's at the end of a tiny strip mall with a 7-11, chinese take-out (Hot Wok) and a dry cleaners. Hence the spots are few and sometimes people make their own spots and block each other in during the lunchtime hour.

Great classic NY pizza. ** The best garlic knots anywhere. **Simple but sumptuous salads. Italian Affair,Hands down best pizza in Queens Vill. and Bellerose. I lived in neighboring Queens Village most of my life. I frequented the 7- eleven next door to Italian Affair for many years. Never once trying this place because I was convinced that Gaby's had the best pizza you could find in the whole area. I had tried many other places, & was always disappointed to say the least. I walked into I.A., on a sunny day 5 years ago, as a doubting Thomas, and emerged a loyal customer. Though I no longer live in the area, I remain so today. Here's why: The BEST GARLIC KNOTS around! They are buttery, soft and warm; with just the right amount of garlic, Parmesan cheese, and seasonings. Sometimes, I come just for the garlic knots. YUMMY SALADS that are fresh and filling, served with their house dressing. The dressing is a little oily but still okay. These are your basic salads, nothing fancy. However they are made to order with fresh ingredients, which keeps me coming back for more. There's not much in the way of salads to choose from o in the Queens Vill./ Bellerose South area. You won't find anything better in the nabe. My faves; the grilled chicken w/ fresh mozzarella, and grilled shrimp salads. Love the calamari salad, but it can be hit or miss ( but when it's good, it is a must have) Finally, let's talk about THE PIZZA! Thin crispy crust, flavorful sauce, good quality cheese. Adequate variety of toppings. They focus on quality more than quantity. Oh and these guys are consistent! Good pizza every time, unlike Gabby's ( where you'll have great pizza one day, terrible pizza the next) RECOMMENDATIONS Like spicy food?- Do try the buffalo chicken pizza Meat lover with a big appetite? -Try the Italian Affair special (pizza loaded w/ various meats & veggies) yummy but you'll"ll be stuffed! Grandma slice- Yum :-) What more can I say? Plain cheese slice- Ahhh simplicity at it's finest Don't forget- As stated above you must try the garlic knots, and any of their various salads. They also serve various pastas, sandwiches, and calzones. I haven't tasted them yet. However, I notice they seem to be pretty popular. Sorry for the long winded review. I just get carried away sometimes.

This is a great little find. I haven't tried everything on there menu, but I keep coming back for the chicken salads. They are great. There pizza is pretty good as well. I've only tried a few of there pasta dishes, and those aren't bad either. Good price for good food.

Just had the regular pizza delivered for the first time and i have to agree with all other Yelpers. It really was quite good, different consistency than Village or VI Pizza, our other two favorites ! This was very different and VERY good. Only wish they delivered with a take out menu! But excellent pizza !
