Food is mediocre at best. The wait staff was friendly enough but the manager/boss was nasty and arrogant not only to some customers but to his staff. Young women should not be spoken to the way he speaks to the girls working there. Degrading and derogatory comments. We will never eat there again and the manager/boss should have to take classes on proper workplace etiquette and sexual harrassment.

Good food, excellent service! We had the linguini bolognese (good) and chicken parmigiana (very good)--both we're huge portions. Our waitress was truly delightful, elevating this 3-star experience to 4 stars.

Anytime I'm craving a good slice of pizza, Mama Sbarros is where I go. And believe me, it's not for a lack of other options, because there must be at least twenty pizzerias around here. Their regulars slices are the closest thing to Brooklyn style pizza in our area. You know what I mean - a nice thin crispy crust, a good amount of cheese, and sauce that's just right. And my husband loves their specialty slices, like the Gorganzola salad slice, or the grilled chicken Caesar slice. And of course their Sicilian and Grandma slices are just as delicious as the others. But Mama Sabarros is not just about a good slice. We have enjoyed many delicious dinners there. The linguine with white clam sauce and the rigatoni siciliana with the eggplant mixed in is fantastic. My husband also enjoys their calamari over linguine. Even a quick chicken or shrimp parmangiana hero to take home is delicious and fresh. It's just a restaurant where no matter what you order, you just can't go wrong.

Mama sbarro is decent. I always eat in the dining area. I love the pesto and the rigatoni siciliana. The rigatoni come s with delicious eggplant, fresh mozzarella, and a really good fresh tomato sauce. I dream about it! They have nice salads and give a sesame bread basket.

Found this place last year on a pizza hunt. My wife is from NY and nothing up to that point was giving her the "fix". This fit the bill when we found it. Fold the slice of pizza, and you have to support the last inch. One bite, you then can one hand it, and it has grease running down the hand. That is perfect NY pizza. We had the white pizza, which was the best ever. The chicken marsala was outstanding as all. Every time we will be in the area, this will be a dinner spot.

I have been coming here my whole life and it's just as good as it was from day 1. Their pizza is probably my favorite on LI. The service has always been outrageously nice. We went last on a busy Friday night and while we waited for a table, they handed out little pieces of fresh pizza to hold us over. What a nice touch! Their Grandma pie has a buttery crust like Sicilian but is thinner and crispier. Their cheesy garlic bread squares are like like garlic knots 2.0. Even the bread basket they serve is piping hot and delicious. Everything else on the menu (pasta fagioli soup, salads, chicken parm, meatballs, etc.) are all truly delicious and very reasonably priced. Even their cappuccino is the best. I can't say enough about this place. Long live Mama Sbarro!

Good: tasty pizza sauce, averaged price , italian sausage was delish! Bad: burnt crust, over cooked garlic knots, hard to bite pizza Overall not bad but not amazing

Typical LI pizza place. Stopped in while shopping is the strip of stores located here. I had a super craving for a sicilian slice and to my dismay they were out. They said that another pie would be ready in ~20 minutes (and I would have LOVED a fresh slice) but didn't have the time. They suggested I try the Grandma slice which kinda of looked like sicilian but it had flat crust. I ordered it but was not very impressed with it. Perhaps if I hadn't wanted sicilian it would have been better.

I have been going to Mama Sbarros for years and always considered it better then most. However lately the quality or attention to detail has definitely slipped. As always the service is great however the constant changeover in staff has led to inconsistency. For instance, the pizza maker changes day by day and the flavor of the specialty pizzas change as well. An example would be the buffalo chicken pizza, usually made with white meat and a mild sauce. But on occasion, it will be made with very OILY dark meat chicken, that's gamey and tough, it's deep fried and the sauce is very acidic. It was inedible the last time we ordered a pie. When we called they were polite but unapologetic claiming that's how its always been...not true. Second, I once ordered a side salad for my wife and I watched the cook in the back, after he just moved some boxes and the garbage can, reach into the lettuce bag with his bare hands and finish the salad all without any gloves on, that's just disgusting. Also, on occasion they will have a counter person, who's not the regular, handle credit cards and cash, then handle peoples food without gloves or washing. Where did the management go, do they not care anymore!!! I was so disgusted with my last two visits that I no longer want to order from here, but because of years good food and service I will give it only ONE more try. Thats what stopped me from giving it one star. I was a manager at another pizzeria for years during my college years and have taken Suffolk County's health department course for food safety and handling and this place would not pass most of the tests. They need to revamp their image and make sure regular customers like myself don't end up going to another place. Please Mama Sbarro Staff, get your things in order.

Grandma's Pizza is the best in town. Everything my Arizona family visits, we get it at least 3-4 times a week. Yes, it's that good.

Still one of our favorite local restaurants! UPDATES: There is a new owner. They now offer free delivery. Pasta Night is now $10.99. There are several new additions to the menu including a delicious tilapia oreganata. It comes with shrimp and either roasted potatoes or vegetable. I highly recommend the roasted potatoes! New craft beer selection including Sam Adams Winter and Lagunitas IPA.

To go service, prompt and delivered hot! Delicious marinara pizza, with garlic knots. Not from the area, but glad I was introduced to Mama Sbarro! I guess this is authentic NY pizza!
