Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

What a wonderful place. I had a blt and my wife had an amazing egg salad wrap with avocado and bacon. Place was busy but food was served prompt. Menu is on a board behind the counter. All of the food is made right in the open kitchen. Highly recommended if you are in the area. Worth the trip if you are not.

We had breakfast here on our recent trip. We like the dishes they were freshly made. Small place not many tables, but we did get a place to sit after a short wait and before the food was ready. The eggs were good and cooked very well. Several baked goods that looked great. The menu is on the board behind the counter. You order at the counter and find a place inside or outside to sit.

This is an Yelp gem. We were traveling through the area (Bershires to Closter, NJ) so I pulled up Yelp in search of a breakfast/lunch/brunch option. When the stars for Back in the Kitchen appeared I knew I had a foodie destination. This is a small place just off of 22/343 -- the lower portion of a Victorian. You'll smell the deliciousness as you walk up to the building. The menus / offerings are printed on chalk boards behind the counter. I'm guessing much of the menu is home made and locally made and the coffee is strong and hot! We ordered breakfast (even tho it was noon) - so refreshing to order and omelette and select as many veggies as you'd like -- and to be asked if you'd like your onions caramelized! Yes, please. Hope we have an opportunity to return. I want to try the soups.

Family owned and operated, this is country breakfast at its finest with a splash of city sophistication. Intelligentsia coffee and fantastic baked goods make this small restaurant worth stopping for. The breakfast sandwiches make this place worth moving here. They also are great at catering.

Absolutely as good as it gets!! We met close friends for breakfast and had an over the top time here at Back in the Kitchen. Kathy and the rest of the staff were wonderful! Our breakfast dishes were exceptional and the pancakes, WOW! Give them a try, you will certainly be glad you did. This is a must go to breakfast place in Dutchess County! I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.

They were very kind to let us come in at 3:30 when they close at 3. I got a mixed berry rustic tort that was still warm. The coffee was good. The workers were happy to talk about the area. I liked the place.

This is a much needed addition to the area! The coffee is great, the food is delicious and fresh, and the decor is beautiful and inviting. An overall win!

YAY! This place is my favorite place to each lunch out of all options in NYC and beyond. Great sandwiches, excellent breakfast, such good snacks. My only complaint is that they do not use Harney Chai for their Chai Latte - they use a different brand which has grit in it and is not as high quality. But that is nitpicking, to say the least. SUCH A WELCOME ADDITION!!

The perfect egg sandwich. Try it on a croissant. Cappuccino was creamy and delicious and just the right temp. Staff was very friendly. Love the decor - a great mix of modern and vintage with an agricultural influence. Loved the nostalgic photos of farming and family life hanging on the walls. Want to go back for more.

Back in the Kitchen is a great boost to the quality of life in this part of Dutchess County! The Intelligentsia coffee is worth the trip itself, and the pastries, sandwiches, and salads are all winners. After breakfast or lunch here, pay a visit to Andrea upstairs for some of her fresh pasta to make for dinner - it's perfectly textured and maybe the best pasta we've ever had, other than what I've made by hand myself.

Charming breakfast and lunch cafe, featuring farm fresh local produce and dairy (including Amenia's Hammond Dairy yogurt), tasty baked goods, marvelous soups (love that curried butternut squash!) and an amazing cup of coffee. I had a proscuitto, fig jam and fontina panini that was fabulous. You can definitely taste the love in the food here!

Great spot for coffee and a sandwich. They serve delicious coffee or tea and the bacon egg and cheese is just about as good as it gets. Served fresh on a Chapati roll you can tell that alot of care and thought goes into each and every dish. All fresh and made here. And hey where else do you get to sit on a tractor seat when eating your meal. And I think they make one of the best Latte's around. Can't wait to go back. Enjoy!!

This place is a fantastic option for lunch. Delicious sandwiches and desserts (coffee and lemonade too). Highly recommend. Oh, and there were a few small tables outside. Really lovely.
