Excellent Pizzeria. This place is more like a restaurant than a true, local pizzeria. The interior is deceptively expansive and the decor is really nice. We went for lunch and had two of the personal brick oven pizzas. They were a quality size, we probably could have shared one. Their sauce and cheese combo really good, nice fresh tasting mozz and the sauce is well spiced. My wife got the eggplant and ricotta pizza, the eggplant was lightly battered and you could tell it was freshly fried, not sitting around in the back waiting for an order. A great combination of ambiance and tastiness. I may have a new regular pizza joint.

I went here and got Caesar Salad (approx 10 dollars on the menu) I wasn't trying to spend too much. I decided to add shrimp to my salad. I got my salad and it was basically 4 overdone shrimp on a bed of iceberg lettuce. I got the bill and my salad costs 22 dollars. I could not believe it. 11 dollars to add 4 shrimp that weren't even good. So overpriced.

I figured it's about time I wrote a review for Marinara. I've been coming here since I was a little kid. With Marinara, what you see is what you get. I'm not going to just come out here and say it is the best food you will find, as that is not the case. However, Marinara is a neighborhood spot that serves good food. The atmosphere inside oozes of local families and friends. This is truly the place to go for a slice around the area. Every time I come here, I see someone I know. I enjoy the familiarity. The food is pretty good for a local Italian place. I usually get either a couple of slices, a pasta dish of some sort, or a sandwich. Is the food out of this world? No. But what it is, is pretty good and it's certainly good enough to keep me and so many others going back for more after all these years.

This place is an excellent pizzeria...food is also great! Their sicilian is my personal favorite, and mirror's the traditional Gino's sicilian (or rather should I say the Original, traditional, Gino's pizza you would find at the Gino's in Elmont or Long Beach.) A bit pricey, and growing up a half a mile from this shopping center you'd better be prepared for a bunch of prissy annoying A-holes, but if you have the patience, (or want to park a few blocks South and walk) you will definitely enjoy your meal.

I went once with my mom and we actually sat down at a table. The waitress was rude, and the food sucked! We ordered chicken Marsala which was bland, no flavor what so ever. The pasta was cold. We also ordered chicken fettuccine, omg worst plate ever!!! And we asked for an extra plate for our salad and she literally set it down so hard that it almost cracked. Wouldn't recommend going there to anyone.

Come for the carbs, stay because they know you like family. I have been coming here for years, and while I may only have sat and dined in 3 or 4 times, the takeout doesn't take anything away from the place. Whether it is dropping by for a quick cheese slice while standing at the counter (well...maybe I'll take a second one), or getting a large pie to go, the pizza here is extraordinary. Try the Grandma slice, the chicken & cheese "francese" slice, the penne slice, and the ricotta. Leave some room for great garlic knots. If any of this stuff will aggravate your stomach, suck it up and take a Nexium before you go (don't eat a Tums afterwards...you'll want to savor the meal for as long as you can). The regular food is okay here as well, but I'd go so far as to say that this is the best pizza east of Brooklyn.

Been working in the area for a week solid so I took out from here a few times over the course of my time out there. (I had previously only grabbed a slice of pie on previous visits to the area). Strictly my take on the take out... da' pizza: solid, really good normal thin crust and really good Sicilian slices to go. The place is hopping busy most of the time but they motor to keep things moving. good cheese, slightly on the salty side (fine by me). I did not try any of the specialty pies (salad on top etc.) da entrees: I had a couple of chicken dishes, both had good portions and tasty. They keep the sides and the main dish separate (a plus for me, I hate having say a butter lemon sauce mixed in with marinara sauce etc). You get a decent portion of bread with the entree and it is quite tasty (good Italian bread, soft on the inside and slightly crunchy with a hint of the oven on the outside). The vegetables were not cooked to mush and everything was very good, especially for take out. The clams in the linguine dish I had were tiny but good, nothing great but not bad taste wise. da pasta: all the pasta was cooke al dente, so if you don't like that, then well you would be out of luck my friend. The side of penne was good with a slightly salty pomodoro sauce, pretty good size portion as well. The linguine I had with clams was the same, al dente, and the sauce had a nice bite as I asked for it fra diavolo (you know, spicy). This place stradles the line between walk up pizza joint and restaurant. You can grab a slice and sit in the standing room only type of area near the counter, take out, or sit down for a full blown meal in the dining area toward the back. Overall I was impressed by: -the speed of service considering the hectic nature at certain times -the attentiveness of the staff -the good quality on the full range of the menu -they almost always check the order vs the receipt when you are paying, this may seem trivial but think about the nice little extra effort just to make sure you don't get the wrong thing when you get home (especially if you ordered something a little odd/special) Definitely a safe place to check out if you are in the area. I doubt you will go wrong with anything here.

Definitely a local place, but can be a destination spot for their food! I'm a pasta girl, and theirs is always great! My favorite is fusilli pesto rosso, though I love their penne in brodino(?) sauce! Recently relatively renovated, the restaurant makeover adds nice touches, with a cappucino bar

I grew up around the block from here and somehow have only had their pizza. This is our regular spot to order pizza from and it's always good, probably the best in the five towns.

  • Rosemary F.

The constantly busy kitchen should say it all... outstanding, fresh & delicious. Price is reasonable for the portions.

Had good pizza here but the service on refills on the check was lacking. Although it was clean and seating was very fast.

Hands down the best Italian food on Long Island. Dont argue with me please until you've tried their Penne A La Vodka and Tortellini A La Panna. This is probably the ONLY thing I miss about New York! And yo, Hank, if you think this place is expensive, you need to stop hittin that bong.

I have been going to Mari nara's for over 20 years. Their house salad is always spot on and so is their Fried Calamari (appetizer). Often I would order the Shrimp Marinara and it was pretty good. The last 2 times I ordered (was their 21/2 weeks ago) the sauce was dry , deep red and no flavor (tasted like it had a lot of tomato paste). The shrimps were smaller and there were only 5 of them (This entrée has gone up in price every year and now it is almost $19 for 6 shrimp and linguine). A little over priced but I paid it because it tasted good. Not any more. Needless to say I asked the waiter what happened and was told they have a new chef. Well it is not an improvement. I hope they go back to their original recipe for their marinara sauce or they will start losing their regular customers. Unhappy with the changes.

Now this is pizza! Now this is pasta! This place is what it means to come home, and their food never let's me down.

Awesome pizza, and needs to be because this is NY after all!! I don't live in NY anymore so I go to (or take out) Marinara while visiting family. I don't favor Sicilian pizza, but Marinara's is fabulous. Regular pizza and White pizza were delicious as well. A little pricey and the ambiance is eh (crowded), but Marinara confirms that they are NY pizza at its best.

Hands down the best pizza I have had. Keeps me coming back for years now. Quick service and the pricing is decent.

I have been going here since before it was Marinara. Originally it was Willies Pizza and it was damn good back then. The owners bought out Willies and put in Marinara like 20 years ago or something and they have done a fabulous job! The pizza here is nothing short of amazing! I usually won't even eat a square slice but Marinara is the exception. I have been to all the top rated pizza places in the 5 boroughs and this is by far the best. I live in Jersey now but whenever i am on the Island visiting friends i make sure to grab a slice.

This review is wayyy overdo! Marinara is one of those places that will forever be near and dear to my heart. Throughout the last two DECADES of my life that I've been eating here, I've always been really happy with the food, service, ambiance, everything. The food is really very good and they have all the usuals that you'd expect from a pizzeria. Every slice is delicious - regular, grandma, buffalo, Sicilian, you name it. I also particularly love their chicken paninis and garlic knots. I have yet to try garlic knots that are better than Marinara's. I've come here for a quick bite to eat, takeout, or to dine in the restaurant section. Their kitchen food is delicious. I'd say Marinara is better than the Pizza Place (the other popular pizzeria in Hewlett) in terms of their kitchen food, restaurant atmosphere, and service. Now lets talk about their chicken parm........ oh my god it's good. Ingredients are always fresh. Their sauce is something else... *currently drooling* My parents aren't the biggest fan of Italian/American cuisine but when they are in the mood for it, it's chicken parm from Marinara. Only thing is they don't deliver which is unusual for a pizzeria.

Good pizza. We drive 15 minutes to get there because the pizza places near us aren't very good

Best pizza in the area. Amazing baked ziti and chicken parm as well. This place has expanded over the years because of its popularity.

  • Ester B.

The food is very good. It is New York - lots of competition, but when I am in the area I love to go to Marinara. The staff is very friendly.

  • Diana Q.

I was here once with someone from work before we were going to library class. It was really good and I loved the pizza. It's very similar to the pizza place and I have heard rumors that the pizza place and marinara are owned by the same people. I'm actually surprised I didn't come here too often while I lived here, and now it's too far for me to walk to on my lunch break.

  • Shaan N.

I love this place; 2 minutes from my house. The food and service is good. The owner is outstanding. It's a real local family place. The staff knows me and my wife by name. We come here at least once a month, with our 1 year old daughter.

I've been here enough times to know Marinara's is a solid (though overrated) staple of Hewlett and one of the more popular attractions in the Hewlett shopping center for locals. By around dinnertime, this placed is packed with people and can even get to the point of being uncomfortable. Thankfully the inside is spacious enough that you have a decent chance of finding a seat. It's definitely a step up from an ambience standpoint from your run of the mill pizzeria. Food selection is what you'd expect for a pizza place; however the prices might make you believe that you're getting something better than what's in front of you. Similar to the nearby establishment, The Pizza Place, this is another Hewlett restaurant with prices that make me question whether or not it's worth my business. Issues aside, the pizza and the few other items I have sampled are definitely above average (Though it isn't worth writing home about as some of the reviewers here do. Have you ever eaten pizza outside of Nassau County)? They do make a solid regular and Sicilian slice though that isn't too salty thankfully and though I don't come here frequently, I tend to enjoy whatever I've ordered. If you want to take in the local atmosphere of Hewlett then definitely pay Marinara a stop and order a slice or two. Just don't be surprised when you're crammed next to another person, checking to see if all your money fell out of your wallet or if the prices are THAT expensive.

I am from lawn guyland and I have to recommend this place for Italian food that really hits home. Long Island is pretty irreplaceable when it comes to pizza and bagels and Marinara encapsulates that seamlessly. Their sicilian slices are like no other. They have a pretty great chicken marsala slice, which I haven't seen at any other pizza joint. Their buffalo chicken slice is excellent. THE BEST: get a chicken roll! So good. Flaky, pastry dough-like crust with perfect chicken and cheese inside. You will not be upset with it.

  • Yvonne B.

Honestly not a fan of there pizza. It's okay. There actual meals are really good. They make a really good penne alla vodka. The focaccia bread is killer.

    (3)
  • Dmitry D.

This pizza place pretty good. I had the grand ma slice chicken roll, pepperoni pin wheel, pepperoni slice and everything had good flavor, good amount of toppings. The buffalo slice looked really good I'm try it next with the masala slice. The place looks nice. But just one thing the customer service could be a little better. The guys taking orders were rude to the lady next to me, the guy ducked his teeth and got an attitude when I asked to try the middle of the pie slice of the grand ma slice, and he snatched the credit card and just had a smart a mug on his face. Chill out guys your jobs ain't that hard.

Always a great experience and delicious meal. I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Real Italian flavor and one of the best homemade marinara sauces I've ever tasted.

Dine or Ditch? Dine... on your Italian momma's lasagna. I've been going to Marinara for several years and I've tried a number of things, most of which I've been happy with. They always start you off with some warm garlic bread that I tend to enjoy. After that I tend to enjoy more carbs. I've had their pizza (I tend to enjoy a fresh bar pie), the chicken parm, meatball parm, sausage hero, and lasagna quite often. All of which I truly enjoy and highly recommend. The tomato sauce is a great flavor and it's used on almost everything I tend to get. My only issue is that from time to time I've gotten bad chicken (it breaks apart kind of like awkwardly as I bite into it) and that tends to be a turn off to me. It can happen anywhere, but it tends to stick in my mind and will keep me away from the chicken parm for a while. Overall, I would definitely stop in for some solid Italian food for a good price point.

Tried the grandma, margarita and chicken marsala slices. The sauce isn't the best so probably would not be back for regular slices with sauce but the chicken amrsala slice was really really good. So far seems to be a recommendation for specialty pizza

Great pizza. Got a large with extra cheese and the chicken rolls are very tasty. Didn't do any of the entrees and such but would def come back

The escarole & beans and the whole wheat primavera bar pie are so amazing that I find myself craving them both too often. Every single time my husband and I visit his parents, we must have a meal from Mariana. This place is a total neighborhood gem and I wish they had a location in Arlington, VA!

We were a little skeptical at first to visit this restaurant but am I glad we took the risk! The restaurant is located in a small strip mall and I drove right past it looking for it. We went in and didn't realize it was a restaurant because in the front half is the pizza shop. Once past the counter, we were seated and by the look of things they're pretty popular. Once we had our bread, we were sold. Light garlic focaccia bread and Italian bread. The focaccia was great, my fiancé and I ended up fighting over it and taking some back to the hotel. I was worried about portion size as I've noticed in NY sometimes you pay big money for 3 bites of food, not a problem here! I ordered the Penne Madeira and my fiancé had the Rigatoni Fiorentina, BOTH were huge portions and absolutely delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with our incredible meals. The desserts are from a local bakery and were also fantastic! Couldn't have been happier with our experience! Thanks, Marinara staff!

They actually speak Italian! I wish I knew what they talking about. Place is a large sit down and take out place. Clean. Plenty of booth space. Make sure you try the BISTRO SALAD with grilled chicken. I made the mistake of saying just salad and they were nice enough to fix it for me.

  • Jerett G.

This restaurant is my wife's favorite pizza place in Hewlett. We practically order here every Friday night to make the end of the week easier for us. The food is great and the seating is a nice way relax and eat in. My only complaint is that the do not deliver.

  • Edmond W.

I've been going to Marinara for years. Food: The food is excellent for the price. You can take out or sit down for the restaurant experience. The menu options beyond the pizza are delicious and I have only been served fresh ingredients. Given the amount of customers that enter the place forces them to always use fresh ingredients. I would rate their regular a 4/5 with 5 being perfect 1 being bad. Service: Never had problems with the waiters or those at the front. Some of the men at the front are of the rough Italian breed but doesn't bother me. They speak Italian and I've heard Spanish as well. Interior: Not a fancy 5 star restaurant interior but definitely clean and aesthetically pleasing. There is a lot of room at the place. For a local pizzeria, it doesn't get better than this.

Stopped in here on Saturday while heading to Cedarhurst and was very plesantly surprised. I ordered two slices and a Coke, but when he told me the pie would be out in a few minutes, I quickly changed my order to a Sicilian and a Grandma. Both had great crust...and I mean great. It was good to the point that I actually looked at as a child might examine an exquisite booger they just picked. The Grandma slice had a tangier sauce - possibly a result of the cheese. The service wasn't overly friendly, though they were quite busy. I only found this place because I was lost on my way to Cedarhurst, but I'll be sure to get lost on my next trip as well!

Another great local pizza shop in the Five Towns. I remember the good ol' days when I used to stop in here for lunch with my friend after a X Day (1/2 day) at my middle school. Pizza quality has stayed the same. They make a mean Sicilian slice.

I absolutely love Mari Nara!! They have the best chicken parmigiana platter!! I go there every year for my birthday and I tell all my friends and family to go as well. They also have great baked ziti, ziti slices, and Sicilian slices! I highly recommend Mari Nara!!!

    (5)
  • Nick C.

Love coming here for take out. Usually get cheese calzone(huge portion) slices of Sicilian and buffalo chicken pizza. Most Guys in front are great, funny and courteous. Would give it 5 stars if prices were slightly lower and they delivered.

Are we really in Hewlett . . . . . if so WTF . . . . . AMAZING! - Excellent Pizza! - No joke! - I suggest that you try them all. I had the regular Pizza, just out of the oven - it was exceptional. Staff is a bit wacky . . . . . . . . That's OK - Excellent Pizza! I highly recommend this place, you won't be let down!

Said it once, I will say it again!!! The food is well made with fresh quality ingredients and tastes so delicious. Again I had the Penne Madeira and it was just as flavorful as the first time I ordered it. I really like this place. Penne Vodka was delicious. Their bread is so delicious. Their sauteed spinach was flavorful without feeling gritty. The house salad was really good too!!! But let's talk about the Grandma's Pizza...YOWZAAAAAAAA...yummy yummy and super fresh tomatoes!!!

    (5)
  • Shanese M.

ordered two slices while we waited for take out. the chicken Marsala slice was just OK, really runny. the plain slice was decent, nothing great. take out: HORRIBLE. I ordered penne alla vodka, had really no taste and it was loaded with scallions! scallions in Italian?? gross, and it was $14. my bf had eggplant parm, the sauce had absolutely no taste. tasted like jar sauce and the eggplant itself just tasted like cardboard . for $45(including the slices) it was WAY overpriced and definitely not worth coming back

We are regulars here, eat here at least once a week sometimes two. The food is excellent I've pretty much tried everything on the menu you can ever go wrong. The service is great! We love the staff Dave and Kristina. Always enjoy dinner here

  • Lu I.

This place has some of the best Italian food I've had. When I'm away at school I always find myself wishing I could swing by Marinara and get some pasta or pizza. I've never had an issue with the staff being rude or inattentive.

    (4)
  • Allyson S.

One of my favorite hometown pizzerias to stop in and get a slice! Being just five minutes away from home makes it that much harder to say no to my very frequent pizza cravings. On top of that, the salads are amazing (for those trying to stay on the healthier side/away from carbs). Ask for it chopped. I recommend the antipasto salad and whenever they have the gorgonzola salad it is absolutely amazing!

    (5)
  • Nicole R.

We come in here regularly for pizza and dinner. The pizza is delicious, they always have a wonderful variety of slices and other items available. The only item I'm not crazy for are their rolls ( chicken roll) they do it a bit different than I'm used to at other places and the dough is very thin - more like a wrap. I've had several dishes in the restaurant portion all quite tasty. I really enjoy their chicken Primavera when I opt for something on the lighter side.

    (4)
  • Jacob A.

I've eaten here alot. Pizza really is awesome. The Italian dishes that arent pizza are just mediocre. Employees are horrible to customers about 4 out of 5 times which kind of sets up an atmosphere where everyone is walking on egg shells. I carefully get my slice of pizza and try not to ruffle any feathers.

    (3)
  • Betty P.

Can't believe this place has a 4 star rating!! I was actually looking forward to the pizza and some pasta but was really disappointed in the flavor and especially the service there. There's one guy in particular that was really rude. He dropped the f bomb in front of me and a few customers when an employee in the back handed him someone else's bag instead of mine. He then proceeded with.. "There's a lot of f*ing Betty's and Bonnie's today" -- there is no need to say something like that. I could hear someone behind me say "excuse me?" I'm guessing she must be Bonnie. I also ordered some Garlic bread and did I get an garlic on my bread?! No. Plain bread for 2 bucks. I would not be coming back. Period.

  • L C.

Fusili pesto rosso w/chicken YUM and some of the best chicken parm I've had. Portions here are huge! I always have enough for 2 meals. I am excited to keep trying different things since I have so far not been disappointed with anything.

  • Marilyn M.

The food is great! I grew up coming here. Moved to AZ and came back for a visit and could not believe how rude the staff is. The pizza was still good but there are other much friendlier places you can go for the same LI NY pizza. Terrible terrible attitudes! It's too bad.

    (2)
  • Shanna C.

We had a great experience at marinara! The food was delicious and their service was great. Nothing was overly expensive. We ordered the marinara pizza and it was fantastic. I love all types of pizza and it was a pleasant surprise that it came on a focaccia loaf Sicilian style with tons of marinara. If you are a sauce fanatic this is the place to go. The only reason they lost a star was because of the layout of their place when you first walk in. It seems like it is take out only, but then you walk in a little further and a waitress will seat you. It took us about 2 minutes to figure this out. Either way, try it, you'll love it.

My favorite local spot! Sad, that I moved to FL but my family and I love it so much that every time we visit town, we come here. My parents just got back from a trip to NY and brought about $40 worth of pizza back for my brother and I. Can you tell we love this pizza? TOP THREE 1. Grandma - then but crispy, sauce is flavorful and delicious 2. Sicilian - thick and tasty. fluffy dough, crunchy crust! ugh its a staple 3. Buffalo Chicken - spicy and sweet and creamy thanks to the sauce and hint of ricotta ENJOY!

  • Linda L.

I went there yesterday, after many years, Now I know why. The Grandma pizza was room temperature, You don't need to be a genius to heat a slice. The gorgonzola salad had a few nuts and a sprinkle of cheese. 90 percent had nothing but boring greens right out of a bag. My husband's meatball hero was soggy and bland, Totally a lackluster pedestrian experience,,,,,,,we won't be going back, ever.

I have been underwhelmed with the sit down service. But the food is awesome. They make the best chicken roll, fresh perfectly cooked chicken and tasty sauce. Additionally the pizza is my favorite in the area.

  • Avi M.

I have been coming here all my life, and it is still my favorite restaurant! They have pizza for a quick slice and have a dining portion for those nights out. I usually order the penne all vodka with grilled chicken and it is to die for!!! The perfect combination of vegetables, sauce, chicken, and pasta make it the best! They also have very good baked ziti pizza and make a mean buffalo chicken. Though some reviews state that there is a huge rush, I don't really see it, and it's really my that crowded*. The prices are okay, but for food this good they are perfect! So come on by, stop by marinara, I'll guarantee you'll love it! *expect at about 3:00-4:00 pm on Fridays, that's when the middle schoolers come!

So this is my "home" pizzeria. It's the one closest to home and I couldn't be happier. I don't typically sit down to eat but the menu is pretty traditional but everything is just delish! They have the best Sicilian slices, thick and crunchy :). There are very few pizzerias I'll get my pizza from but Marinara always satisfies

  • Christina M. R.

Mmmmmmmmmm. Good Italian food at a good price served by a great waitstaff. Many a time have I been here with friends. Many a time have I been here with family. In all cases, it's been fantastic. Their menu offers a lot of different pasta dishes--all kinds of pastas, sauces, and veggie/meat choices--individual pizzas, and other meat or eggplant entrees. Almost everything comes with a salad and even that's so yummy. The dessert is to die for and the wine is served in large wine glasses for an extra bit of a special kick. The only problem is parking--seriously watch out in that lot because you could lose a bumper. Also, you can call in an order but they don't deliver. So one way or another, someone has to drive there and cross their fingers.

I am a frequent customer of Marinara, only due to convience. The food is ok,nothing great. The counter service most of the time are confused and get my orders wrong. The waiters and waitresses are friendly. My biggest complaint is that this a glorified pizza joint, not a fancy prancy restaurant as there prices reflect. Do not go and expect a cheap fast dinner. Also do not expect to go and get service late,,,,,,9ish they are trying to clean up and close. I was born and raised in Brooklyn NY, pizza shops didnt close till 2am,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or later.

I can only really review the pizza at Marinara, and they put out a pretty good slice. Definitely, one of the better pizzeria's on the South Shore. They have some excellent specialty slices. All the slices are pretty heavy, loaded with cheese and toppings. My favorite is the baked ziti; it comes loaded with ziti, red sauce, ricotta cheese, and spices. Seriously, I have only seen baked ziti pizza in New York and the rest of the US is seriously missing out. My biggest complaint is that the crust is not crisp enough, especially if you order whole pizza's. The crust is not crisp enough to hold up the weight of the toppings, causing either a mess or the necessity of a fork and knife (and who eats pizza with a fork and knife ... really just get messy instead). If you order by the slice the pizza is a lot crisper since they throw it back in the oven to heat it back up. Overall, its a good place to get pizza but not worth going out of the way for.

I went to this place with my best friend and it was really nice environment, nice staff, clean and fast seating... The baked zitti is great with real mozzarella cheese and lots of sauce. The garlic bread is really good.

Heeeelllllppppppppppppppppp!!!!! I am being smushed and pushed and shoved and stepped on and, ewww............ somebody should really give that guy a mint for that awful breath! Never ever EVER go into this place expecting to be able to breathe or move around at all. The price a restaurant pays for having absolutely AMAZING food (and amazing is really an understatement here) is having its customers shoulder to shoulder waiting for tables at ALL times. The food here is great. I've been eating here for years and have had nearly everything on the menu, never once tasting a dish I didn't enjoy. However, I will NEVER go in for a sit down dinner. Aside from the crowd waiting for tables, the service is super slow because of the volume of people dining there. Take-out or delivery is the way to go with Marinara.

I live within minutes of this place and we eat here every Friday night and get pizza once a week from here. The pizza is top notch. 9 out of 10 nothing unique about it just excellent in every way. Flat , enough cheese and tasty sauce. Good verall flavor and you always want another slice. The dinners are very good 8 out of 10. This place is not about presentation just putting consistently good food that tastes the same way almost all the time. My wife will only eat this places shrimp parm dinner. I have had their veal dishes which are above average at best but their linguini and clam sauce is a 9 of 10 very good and clams are never overcooked with real clams. Excellent place, excellent sauces and excellent cheese.

Honestly not a fan of there pizza. It's okay. There actual meals are really good. They make a really good penne alla vodka. The focaccia bread is killer.

This restaurant is my wife's favorite pizza place in Hewlett. We practically order here every Friday night to make the end of the week easier for us. The food is great and the seating is a nice way relax and eat in. My only complaint is that the do not deliver.

This place has some of the best Italian food I've had. When I'm away at school I always find myself wishing I could swing by Marinara and get some pasta or pizza. I've never had an issue with the staff being rude or inattentive.

Period.

Fusili pesto rosso w/chicken YUM and some of the best chicken parm I've had. Portions here are huge! I always have enough for 2 meals. I am excited to keep trying different things since I have so far not been disappointed with anything.

The food is great! I grew up coming here. Moved to AZ and came back for a visit and could not believe how rude the staff is. The pizza was still good but there are other much friendlier places you can go for the same LI NY pizza. Terrible terrible attitudes! It's too bad.

Hands down the best Italian food on Long Island. Dont argue with me please until you've tried their Penne A La Vodka and Tortellini A La Panna. This is probably the ONLY thing I miss about New York! And yo, Hank, if you think this place is expensive, you need to stop hittin that bong.

The constantly busy kitchen should say it all... outstanding, fresh & delicious. Price is reasonable for the portions.

This place has some of the best Italian food I've had. When I'm away at school I always find myself wishing I could swing by Marinara and get some pasta or pizza. I've never had an issue with the staff being rude or inattentive.

This restaurant is my wife's favorite pizza place in Hewlett. We practically order here every Friday night to make the end of the week easier for us. The food is great and the seating is a nice way relax and eat in. My only complaint is that the do not deliver.

Great local place, owner has always been nice. Food is very good- whether pizza, pasta or the specials. they can now accommodate larger parties on occasion, but not always.
