Enjoy there meals, love there lasagna I say it's a great place for lunch and dinner.

A nice pizza/pasta takeout spot near the ferry station! Restaurants in this area are mostly take-out friendly! Imagine wall street people! They don't have time to sit and eat. I don't work there, but am staying for a week nearby. Of course I got to try here! I got big baked ziti to go. How much? only $6!! And it came with a garlic/regular bread. For lunch, it was a pretty good deal! I wasn't really into the taste, but come on, it's a quick bite! You won't mind to pay the price! :)

At the office we love ordering from Pranzo because their delivery is always prompt. I've had their pineapple pizza, pepperoni pizza, shrimp parmesan, and chicken caesar salad. The only thing is, I do NOT like their pasta sauce. It always tastes diluted, even on the pizza. The service is pleasant but I wish the food was tastier. I've also never actually been in the restaurant.
(3)Downtown B.
Pranzo is a dependeble pie. Nice & thin with crunchy crust...the thin crust style that is. The pan pizza is a little doughy for my taste but people seem to like it. And the pastas get solid reviews and are consistently good with a nice variety...especially for the price. Overall, don't expect anything too special, just a nice inexpensive little meal to go. My personal favorite is two thin slices with one topping and a soda for about $7...you can't go wrong with that. The people are nice and the service is pretty quick, if you are in the area it is worth a try.
(4)Ed D.
Pranzo is my go-to place when I feel like having pizza/pasta in the FiDi. The food is always fresh and tasty and the service is quick. Ask them for their Lasagna pizza, its absolutely delish!
(4)Laur T.
Inexpensive Italian take-out (or eat-in) joint. Had the hugest stuffed shell craving and decided to head here for lunch take-out. Happy to see the huge selection.... guess I will be here more often. Though stuffed shells are offered as a special on Weds, they were able to whip it up for me in 10 mins for a mere $6. (considering that even the food trucks in the Fi Di charge $7 or more, this is definitely affordable in comparison). Verdict: stuffed shells was OK. wonder if it would taste better if it were offered as a special rather than it being whipped up on the fly. I didn't think the filling was all that flavorful and not sure if I was the hugest fan of the cheese. In any case, satisfied my craving and the sauce was pretty A-OK.

i went looking for this place and found it closed. damn that hurricane sandy...

Ok. I have two favorites here. The Friday only calamari over sphaghetti and their meat pizza role. For the price, you cannot beat either. The line moves fast, and the staff knows what they are doing. The only reason it is not 5 stars is beacuse everything else I have tried is just ok.
(4)Alice M.
For lunch, this place is great! Prices are reasonable, they are super fast and beyond friendly. A definite great place to go for a good lunch. I am shocked no one has yet to mention the Vodka pizza, which is DELIC! And if you get a pasta dish, be sure to have the garlic roll instead of the regular. True, your co-workers may suffer, but do you seriously want them that close to you? If you are that concerned about stinky breath, walk yourself over to Duane Reade, get some mouthwash and breath strips and it's all good.
(5)Becky B.
Love this place and its pasta! Usually go here about once a week on average for lunch. It is always tasty and cheap food with good and very fast service. Baked ziti is my dish of choice and one of my favorite zitis I've ever found! Friends have tried other dishes and say everything is very good.
(5)Harmony I.
Very, very happy with this experience. I ordered from Seamless web; I ordered the rigatoni ala vodka and a side salad. It arrived at my door in less than 10 minutes (not kidding) and I was skeptical that the food would be something that had been sitting out and just reheated since it arrived so quickly. I was very pleased with this dish. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the vodka sauce, just wow...seasoned! I always order pasta with vodka sauce from other places and it has zero flavor and not enough salt! This was spot on....creamy, fresh and delicious. The garlic knot was soft and the salad was also very fresh. This entire meal was only $13 and that INCLUDES a $3 tip for the delivery guy. I am going to be ordering from them tonight as well, because the food and the experience was so positive.
(5)James H.
I love Pranzo's! Good slices and killer Parmesan chicken sandwich. This place can get quite crowded at lunch time, but they move the herds along pretty well. This joint is very reasonable on the pricing as well. They do deliver which has been a blessing on those lousey rainy NYC I don't want to leave the office days.
(5)Anita J.
Quick, delicious and inexpensive by FiDI standards! It's about $7 for chicken parm, penne, and garlic bread (drink not included). Cheaper than the McDonald's down the street! Love this place. I come here for pasta and chicken parm mainly. Never had the pizza. Their meatballs are delicious and the galic bread is wow! Heard good things about the calamari too, but have yet to try it.

"Crunch" This makes me think if I ever want to have pizza in California again. This was the first place I ate at for the first time in NYC and from the first bite I fell in love. From the first to the last bite, the crunch was absolutely amazing. I took the bite, and bam. The flavor hit you like no other and also the textures that you want in a pizza was all there. We walked around to expect nothing, just to look for packed places to eat. I saw a line out the door and decided we had to try this place. We went in, they cut the line, how they cut the pizza - Fast. For some reason, the cherry coke tasted different to me. It tasted better as well. Nine bucks for lunch for 2, now that's a deal. Not sure how this place only has 5 reviews, but this is the right place to be. Best Pizza I ever had. And when I get back home, I'm forced to eat Costco pizza by my cousins. And this made me wonder if there was a Costco in New York, and if there was... Would the pizza be close to Pranzo's. But if any of you Cali folks are out in NYC, I really suggest Pranzo's, you will not be let down... They do something different on Saturdays and Sundays as told by the owner. I think they turn it into a more romantic setting to sit down and eat. And I think the price would probably go up. But if you are there on a weekday, fast and yummy. Pranzo's is the place to be for PIZZA!
(5)Joseph I.
Pasta dishes are very good HOWEVER I'm disappointed with the pizza. Specifically the quality of the mozzarella cheese. Sauce and crust is good, cheese could be better. To the owner, may I suggest you use Grande Cheese on your pizza. Might cost a more but worth every penny. Please don't compromise on quality to save a few bucks.
(3)Tim R.
Outstanding pizza and rigatoni. Friendly guys too.
(5)Becca C.
I love Pranzo. Pizza is great, pastas are delicious, and staff is friendly with a little snark. Perfect hole in the wall nyc pizza joint.
(4)Franco G.
I'm not a harsh grader normally but this pizza was just generic Manhattan pizza. It reminds me of that Albanian pizzarias in midtown or the village. If that doesn't mean anything to you than think Sbarros. It wasn't bad, but why go here when there's a couple places much better within a couple blocks at the same prices. The actual place is your typical pizzeria. Food is made fast, prices are decent and they have little tables to sit at if you want to stay. I didn't try any of their non pizza items but I've rarely ever heard of place that had okay pizza and great food.
(2)Marlo G.
LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE Pronzo! It's a little place in the Wall Street area with lots of tables...the place is PACKED during lunch hour! Staff is always nice, friendly, and quick! I've eaten both at the restaurant and had delivery...sometimes, entrees when delivered aren't so great...my friend's eggplant parm and chicken were dry. If you order a pie, it's always good. When you do eat at the restaurant, ask if the pizza's fresh...and if it doesn't look it, don't take it...order something else.
(5)Mike O.
I found this place on Yelp! They saved the day. I was looking for some place inexpensive to eat and didn't want to spend another $60 for lunch for the 4 of us (wife and 2 kids). I saw this place on Yelp and it was awesome for a lunch pizza/pasta place. The people working there were very friendly also...unlike some of the other restaurants we ate at in NYC.

growing up i would get my pizza on jerome avenue in the bronx. there was a very particular flavor in a slice of pizza back then, back in the days when a sicilian slice was the height of exoticism, that feels right. it has no toppings, no variations of crust. just a flat triangle with sauce and cheese. we ate it by the slice, walking around, standing on corners, shooting the shit, giving in to munchies. anyway no one could afford a pie. at one time every pizza shop was pretty much the same, one maybe had more cheese on it than another; now, this kind of urban pizza is nearly extinct, overrun by suburbian inroads, franchising, non-italians, whatever. they all look good, they can often be good eating, but they don't have the taste and don't really feel like pizza, it's something else. the closer they come to what i remember, the better i like it. most people don't. i understand. it's my teenagehood, not theirs. so i search. and i think i found one at pranza way down on water st. pranza makes a slice that tastes and feels like the old style, which is to say it is totally unexceptional and likely fails the test for just about everyone who wasn't born here. but if you were, know that there is at least one place that does it right, in the old-school outer-borough way. ------- i would not be a good yelper if i didn't at least comment on the rest of the offerings: plenty of pizzas with all sorts of toppings, thick crusts, sicilians, chicago style, etc. plenty of hot food like meatballs, heroes, cutlets, parmigians, pastas, lasagnas, etc. this stuff is super popular with the wall st lunch crowd. they line up for it. i've never tried it - i try to stay non-industrial with my food ingredients whenever possible these days. i call it voting. but for a slice at pranza, i make an exception. hey, i eat milky ways sometimes too.
(5)Siddu K.
just had a slice of the delicious vodka pizza, sicilian , 2 garlic breads(one for my colleague who abs luvs d garlic bread here) and coke from this place..and i say this is one of d best lunches ive had in quite some time... and not to mention..it was pretty cheap too..all these jus cost me 8.75$..(btw d cashier is cute too..:-)) had never tried pizza here earlier..always used to tk d pastas(which are awesome too) but thot of tkin pizza for a change..and im soooo glad i did.. take out frm pronzo + lunch @ korean war memorial + ny summer - it feels heavenly.. too bad summer is endin soon..visits to pronzo r gonna reduce..:-(
(4)Elaine W.
i like their garden salad and pasta over their pizzza but for the price its pretty cheap if your in the financial district area
(3)Steph D.
In a neighborhood where there aren't many great eating options, Pranzo really stands out. Their fresh mozzarella slice is awesome when you're looking for a thin crust, lighter option, but you can't go wrong with their traditional slice either. The baked ziti, chicken parm and penne with vodka sauce are also all great if you're looking for a heartier meal. Oh, and don't ever skip the garlic roll!
(4)Owen B.
We were looking for pizza after the Statue of Liberty tour- yelped this place and were not disappointed! If you are looking for good pizza at a fair price with super fast service, this is it- I really liked the sicilian slice- crispy with a good balance of sauce and cheese- yummy!
(4)Edward I.
OK, whenever I'm REALLY hungry, I go to Pranzo's, this is during the week day since it's right across the street from where I work and once you have all that pasta, you can hang out at the Korean War memorial across the street and watch the ferries and helicopters pass by at the helipad and pier.
(4)Dennis C.
the chicken-roll I had was dry and had no taste...the wrost lunch I had around this area in the last 6 months
(1)Perry S.
Solid pizza joint in the Financial District. Reasonable, good slice selection, pretty much your standard NYC slice-and-a-Coke place if you're working in the area or want something before catching the Ferry.
(4)Vivian J.
Cafeteria style tables, extremely crowded during lunch hours but definitely a favorite lunch spot once you've tried Pranzo's pasta dishes. I've even ordered pickup through GrubHub to escape the line. The calamari with penne pasta Fridays only is my favorite although the lasagna is a close tie. Unlike other places where lasagna is passed off with only terrible limp pasta sauce in between the layers. Pranzo has actual layers of meat. I definitely recommend.
(5)Steve M.
Their speciality is their Chicago style pizza. It is the best around. Everything is really fresh and tastes great. Baked ziti - wow. The disadvantages are that its a small place and gets incredibly crowded at lunch. Also, it is a little expensive. I believe taste wise this is the best casual pizza place in lower Manhattan. Also, owner is a decent guy and is around all the time which is a good thing.
(4)Dave H.
Fine dining this ain't. Order on the left, pay on the right, then wait for the kitchen to do their job. If you're super shy (or in a hurry), place a pickup order online and beat the lunch rush. No matter how you slice it, Pranzo is fast. I got two pizza slices faster than I could say my order, one slice of sausage, peppers, and onions and another with tomatoes, onion, and basil ($7.50; credit cards accepted). The stuff reminded me of Pizza Hut, but I like Pizza Hut. Hefty slices, the kind of hefty that slaps you in the face. But softly, with love.
(4)Sharon T.
If you're on one of those "quest for the best pizzas in NYC", this probably shouldn't be on your list. Nice, cozy setting? Check. Moderate price? Check. Quality food it ain't. You can say I was excited about going here after reading all the good reviews and praise and it was right across from where I worked--super plus! I thought this was going to be a quick but nice, family-setting Italian restaurant that serves hearty food. So maybe it did feel nice in there but one bite can ruin the whole experience. I didn't want to risk my chances so I got a mushroom slice - a small slice for $4. Glad I didn't get anything savory because it is on par with dollar slices, or maybe slightly worse. The width of the slice is very thin and its not very big in length as well. I love extra cheese but it seriously looked like they topped extra mozzarella cheese over what looked like goat cheese. The cheese underneath was so dried up and clunky, like it was made days ago. So disappointing. The bottom was also burnt - so not my day for pizza. Can't say the same for the other pizzas, though they do have deep dish pizza!
(2)Ryan P.
Love Pranzo!!! This place is exactly what you want it to be for an Italian lunch spot in the Financial District. Tons of energy. Fast-moving line. Enticing aromas. Friendly employees. Nice menu variety. Tons of small tables. And, of course, large portions of delicious food. Try the Chicken Pesto. Just try it. Trust me.
(5)Kati B.
They have a great selection of pizza, pasta, grinders and other selections. I ordered the penne with prosciutto and peas. I had expected a little more prosciutto but was kind of disappointed with that. This place is fast and affordable and pretty delicious! You could tell it was popular with how many people were in and out for lunch. They give containers that hold food well and make great reusable tupperware. Garlic bread comes with your meal if you want it and that was absolutely delicious.
(4)Kurt B.
nice of them to jack up their prices on fourth of july! very american of you!

After very sadly finding out that my beloved Pizza Italia is permanently closed, I scrambled to try to find a new pizza place by my office. I found that Pranzo's had a pretty good rating so I decided to check it out. It was overall pretty disappointing. I got a two slices, a sicilian and a veggie. The sicilian was decent, but it wasn't warm enough and the crust was a too crispy and not doughy enough. The veggie slice was a let down. While it was nicely loaded with lots of veggies, the crust was pretty gross. It was too thick and was crispy like a cracker. Also, the tomato sauce tasted like it was straight out of a can. It certainly wasn't the worst pizza I've had, but for New York, you could do a lot better. While eating my slices, I noticed that the majority of the patrons were ordering pasta dishes and not pizza, so this place might be better for its pasta dishes.
(2)Jason P.
No frills quick Italian food served cafeteria style. Line up along the left hand-side and move down the assembly line, order your meal, drinks, and pay. There is plenty of seating with people constantly getting up and sitting down. I came on a Friday and ordered the Shrimp Parmigiana ($7.50 + tax = $8.15). On the bottom was a generous portion of al dente spaghetti with a heaping spoonful of sweet tomato sauce. I enjoyed their tasty spaghetti, a notch up to so many Italian restaurants who serve you a small dish of spaghetti with bland tomato sauce. On top of the spaghetti were 7 thinly breaded/crusted medium-sized shrimp, held together with the melted mozzarella cheese. The breading mixed with diced onions, had some great flavor though erring to the slightly salty side. However the saltiness of the breading was easily counterbalanced with the sweet spaghetti sauce. The shrimp were fresh and cooked perfectly with a nice firm crunch to them. Served on the side was a piece of bread, which was surprisingly good. I don't know if it was just me but I found hints of butter and saltiness to it. Pranzo's is a great place for quick Italian food under $10. Portions are sizable. The only downside was that the dish was oily as heck with a 1/8" pool of oil sitting at the bottom of my dish.

If this is what NYC pizza is all about, I'm not impressed. Luckily I've had good pizza elsewhere so I'm not ripping NYC's pizza rep and street cred to shreds with all of my friends back in Cali. ;) However, if I were a tourist, didn't know any better, had made the mistake of choosing this place to eat after reading the reviews here, and thought that this was what NY pizza is supposed to be about, well I'm sorry but NYC's great pizza rep would be DONE with a capital D. Four stars? Are the owner's friends and relatives writing the reviews I read? I've seriously had better pizzas from the cafeteria when I was in high school. This pizza was greasy to the point where the toppings slid completely off of three of the slices. All that was left was soggy dough and a little bit of Pranzo's watered down sorry excuse for a pizza sauce and way too much fennel. I'm starting to think that nobody in the Financial District has tastebuds. I'm losing my faith in Yelp for this area. What's the deal? 100% of ALL of the restaurants I have tried in this area suck with the exception of Sho Shaun Hergatt but I can't afford to eat there on a daily basis. And it's not like I'm some hardcore foodie but I can differentiate between mediocre and somewhat decent and nothing has even come close. Can someone out there in Yelp-land that knows what's up and isn't trying to jam their relatives' crappy excuse for a restaurant down my throat please recommend a decent place that delivers down here before I lose my marbles and they have to come and take me away in a straight jacket?! I'd appreciate it very much! It's either that or become a waif model and I'm not really interested in the latter. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
(2)Lisa C.
Everything about this place is done right. It's the perfect place for a quick lunch with a nice ambience - food is delicious and authentic, prices are right, service is friendly. I was thrilled to hear that my favorite lunch spot was up and running again!!!
(5)Ronald P.
Recently I ate with my son at Pranzos in NYC and had a great experience. They serve avariety of delicious meals and because it is served cafeteria style you can see what you are ordering plus you have the fast service in case you are in a hurry. The price of the food is quite reasonable and the portions generous. I had the opportunity to meet one of the owners Billie who was hands on and personable. I thought the food was quite appetizing. If you are at the southern end of the island give it a chance. I doubt you will be disappointed.
(5)Katrina A.
Not familiar with the area, I took out my hand dandy iPhone and found this place on yelp. Since my friends and I haven't had pizza in months (is that even possible in NY?), we each ordered a slice of pizza. Being a Californian, I have no clue what constitutes a good New York pizza, but I thought this one was pretty tasty. I could've easily downed 2 or even 3. The crust is thin and a bit chewy, and I love that they use a light hand on the sauce. I even had to fold it in half for easier consumption (I felt like such a New Yorker!). Good for a cheap, easy, and quick bite.

growing up i would get my pizza on jerome avenue in the bronx. there was a very particular flavor in a slice of pizza back then, back in the days when a sicilian slice was the height of exoticism, that feels right. it has no toppings, no variations of crust. just a flat triangle with sauce and cheese. we ate it by the slice, walking around, standing on corners, shooting the shit, giving in to munchies. anyway no one could afford a pie. at one time every pizza shop was pretty much the same, one maybe had more cheese on it than another; now, this kind of urban pizza is nearly extinct, overrun by suburbian inroads, franchising, non-italians, whatever. they all look good, they can often be good eating, but they don't have the taste and don't really feel like pizza, it's something else. the closer they come to what i remember, the better i like it. most people don't. i understand. it's my teenagehood, not theirs. so i search. and i think i found one at pranza way down on water st. pranza makes a slice that tastes and feels like the old style, which is to say it is totally unexceptional and likely fails the test for just about everyone who wasn't born here. but if you were, know that there is at least one place that does it right, in the old-school outer-borough way.

Baked Ziti = DELISH. If you call to place an order, beware of the aggressive and rude men who you're likely to speak to. They are very blunt (which is fine), but can be very rude and sarcastic...they clearly love their jobs! Otherwise the food is delish. Baked Ziti is a MUST HAVE :)

Efficient, Easy, and Edible! These guys have lunch rush hour down to a science. If you are in a rush and don't have a taste for anything in particular, this is the place to be. The staff is nice and the selection is big. I normally come here for lunch if I'm in the mood for pasta. The large portion usually feeds me for 2 lunches - not bad for $8! The sauces fall more on the bland side, but it's ok so long as you keep your expectations low. They have lots of tables if you want to dine in. Dishes I've tried: Pasta with Prosciutto & Peas Baked Ziti Grilled Chicken with Pasta & Broccoli Tortellini Alfredo Chicken Pesto

Pranzo's regular slices are all-around delicious. The pizzeria itself is fits your stereotypical image of a New York slice joint. Reminds me a little of of Pizza Rustica up on 2nd Ave and East 44th, with their pasta offerings along with the pies. Thin crust, decent sized slices, with a slightly sweet sauce. If your only opportunity to grab a slice is in the Financial District, stop by. Authentic, inexpensive, and delicious.

Had high hopes to find good Italian for lunch but didn't happen. Shrimp parm was rather meh. The main problem was, in an attempt to be semi-healthy I ordered it with vegetables. The veggies had a ton of water- which completely ruined the dish. So much so that the take away container leaked all over, soaked through the bag and made a mess. Really I should have returned it. This was careless of them not to drain the veggies at all and serve a meal this way. The garlic bread knot looked good but tasted dry, too hard and rather blah. Perhaps the dish would have been much better if I got the rigatoni vodka as a side but who knows. I give up.

Nice one & half blocks from Staten Islands Ferry & 1 NY Plaza, this place offers variety and speed. Non nonsense ample self serve and sitting place, in this financial district. Nice crispy crust, and nice cheese on both deep dish ($3.75 slice) and thin crust pizza(1 topping $3.25). OK test, nothing special. Some meat topping pizza items are extra fried - not good. Have not tried but they have an array of pastas which made fresh.Quick grab, and go type place to fill up! Dec 2013. CC min $5
(3)Caroline S.
Came in for a quick lunch after a Staten Island Ferry trip. My friend had the mozzarella pizza and I had the cheese calzone. Both were A-mazing. Great pizza and very reasonable prices!
(5)Andrew H.
Little hidden gem down on Water Street in the FiDi District. Awesome slice of pizza!
(5)Zach W.
These guys are perfectly fine. Decent pizza, what looks like decent pasta, at fairly reasonable prices. They're the epitome of average. Buffalo chicken pizza is pretty bad, so I'd recommend AGAINST ordering that, but the lasagna deep dish slice I had was good. They're open until 8 Monday-Thursday, 7 on Friday, and 4pm on Saturday: classic FiDi! It's kind of a madhouse inside and there's a $5 credit card minimum, but if you're looking for something quick at work you could easily do worse.
(3)Sarah P.
When inquired, I was told the pasta are all $6 for small and $7 for large. So I called for the meat lasagna. Then I was told it's $7.50 for one size. I wanted to change my mind but he had already placed it into the black round container. I took it with no question asked and paid. I stayed for immediate consumption. The lasagna tasted funny because it had fatty hamburger meat in it. Very fat meat I must say, although the sauce was good. It was cold cause they didn't bother to reheat for me. As a result, I wouldn't recommend their pasta or hot food. It wasn't a pleasant experience for me. Try the pies, as their pizza was decent, and is what I'll get (if I'd go again). Staff and owner are friendly. Pizza and pasta selection are varied. Affordable prices (for Italian food) and good location (for Financial District). Tables and seats are uncleaned. Eat at your own risk.
(3)K H.
I ordered a veal parm hero from Pranzo [ seamless.com/menu/pranzo… and they asked for another $1.60 from me at the restaurant, despite my already paying in full w/ my credit card (registered w/ seamless). They said it was Seamless' fault their prices weren't updated. Either way, I was unhappy but coughed up the money since I was just picking up lunch and returning to a business meeting! It's only a dollar+ & I like both Pranzo and Seamless but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
(3)Yasmin R.
Pranzo is probably my go to spot for pizza and pasta. It's cheap (for the area) and hits the mark. Not much more to say, it's your standard pizzaria.
(4)Wei V.
I came here when I have a pasta craving. I always got the small spaghetti and meatballs with vegetables and garlic bread ($6.5). It filled me up. The meatballs were very soft and worked very well with the tomato sauce. The garlic bread was a must have but make sure that you chew a gum afterwards. I have take away one star for the service. Staff were pretty mean with no smile on their face.
(3)Jean-Michel D.
Generic fare, the guy who works the register who might also be the owner was nice enough but I didn't trust the guys working with him. There was a lot of smirking and giggling when they were handling my food and the bottom line is, I got a bad vibe from them and ended up throwing my food out instead of eating it. You know when somethings up but you can't put your finger on it? This was one of those times. There are just too many other places that sell similar food for me to go back and bother giving them another try. They won't be hurting for business though, they see a lot of volume during lunch hour.
(1)James M.
Chicken parm lunch special with garlic bread may be the best in the financial district. Always juicy. Get It over ziti. Can't go wrong. Cheap and delicious. I would eat this daily for lunch if given the chance. The pizza is not bad either. Place is big wnough to sit down but there is a park with benches across the street. Much better place to chow when it's nice out. Get some sunlight before going back to your cubicle and wasting your life away.
(4)Christine S.
Great little pizzeria in FiDi. They have a huge selection of both pizzas and entrees, and the service is quick and friendly. I got the meatball parm with a side of vegetables for only $7 and it was delicious/filling! This is going to be a new frequent lunch spot for me at work.
(5)Gatangalie S.
Located in the heart of the Financial District. I usually swing by once a week for lunch since they are right across the street from my office. The service is excellent and the prices are affordable. They have a good selection such as pizza, pasta, chicken, and spinach rolls. Their garlic bread is addicted.
(4)Sarah L.
Very good pizza at an affordable price. The staff is very friendly. I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in the area.

(5)David C.

(5)Dorothy F.
I LOVE their tomato, onion and basil thick crust pizza. I get it every time I go and it never disappoints. Lunch for under $4 in NYC is a beautiful thing!
(5)Soni K.
After reading all of the good reviews I was super excited to try this place out. However it's just another plain pizza joint. The pasta is ok if you like bland food.. the pizza slices are decent, but the price makes you not want more. And they are super thin. The only good thing they have here is the garlic bread. The owner or whomever runs the cash is rude. All in all you can try this place if you want.. however I would recommend underground pizza which is a couple minute walk towards wall street,
(2)Farah K.
Pranzo is OK. I work nearby at New York Plaza, so it is convenient when I want something simple for lunch. Mix of Alla Vodka and Ziti is only $7. The plus side - they give this yummy garlic bread with your meal (no additional cost!).

(5)Sharon T.

(2)Steve M.
(4)Brave G.

Everything about this place is done right. It's the perfect place for a quick lunch with a nice ambience - food is delicious and authentic, prices are right, service is friendly. I was thrilled to hear that my favorite lunch spot was up and running again!!!

AMAZING pizza !! We had a slice while touring the financial district. Was going again when visiting the statue of liberty, but ran out of time :( All the pasta and pies looked very good... reasonable prizes. Was super busy the whole time we were there.

Pranzo is my go-to place when I feel like having pizza/pasta in the FiDi. The food is always fresh and tasty and the service is quick. Ask them for their Lasagna pizza, its absolutely delish!

Outstanding pizza and rigatoni. Friendly guys too.

Ok. I have two favorites here. The Friday only calamari over sphaghetti and their meat pizza role. For the price, you cannot beat either. The line moves fast, and the staff knows what they are doing. The only reason it is not 5 stars is beacuse everything else I have tried is just ok.

Love this place and its pasta! Usually go here about once a week on average for lunch. It is always tasty and cheap food with good and very fast service. Baked ziti is my dish of choice and one of my favorite zitis I've ever found! Friends have tried other dishes and say everything is very good.

I love Pranzo. Pizza is great, pastas are delicious, and staff is friendly with a little snark. Perfect hole in the wall nyc pizza joint.
