Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

A forgotten town on Long Island is a pizzeria in a shanty strip mall with an obsolete Waldbaums. I only got 1 slice...a Grandma Sicilian that had a nice spice to it. I smelt and tasted Olive oil...I loved that and it wasn't cheap store brand olive oil. Possibly extra virgin but that might be a guess. Crust was very good but cheese was poor and sauce was average. Anyway place seems popular the service was very friendly and helpful. Little early too tell if I will change my rating...next will be a few regular slices to some it up.

Living up in NH now I realize how much I miss Vincent's. Good pizza is virtually non-existent up here. I knew I would miss pizza and bagels...I just didn't realize how much. The pizza, spinach rolls, and dinners are all fantastic. I'm not one who likes to eat out in a pizza store, but it was always great to eat dinner there. The tomato sauce is a hit.

I live in CT and sometimes drive to LI just for a Vincent's (and some Italian ices). This place is so freaking good. Love the vodka slice and the fried eggplant slice. You have to ask for the fried eggplant slice since they don't have it out and make it on the spot.

Good Italian food and service. Gnocchi, lobster bisque, calm pizza, the cannoli and the sangria is great!

Had a great idea to have a nice family dinner tonight at Vincent's. Bad idea on my part. We were so disappointed both in the food and the service. Placing the order seemed straight forward. For some reason it just took forever for the food to reach our table. Do not go here if you are in a hurry. Eventually the soup and salad showed up. The pasta fagioli was bland, I love a great pasta fagioli, this was a disappointment. We also ordered the tortelini, it was the miniature tortelini and like the pasta fagioli lacked flavor. Still disappointed. In between courses the wait staff were no where to be seen. We were there around 6:30pm so I would have expected better service. There were about 15 other people eating in the restaurant at the time so they were not overwhelmed. Now for the positives, the Albertson was very good. Nice combination of artichokes and pasta. Likewise, the veal dishes were very good. The deserts were unimpressive. Straight from the fridge to the table. Don't get me wrong, I'll readily give credit where credit is due but this experience for us was a disappointment. The service was terrible. See for yourself if you must, your mileage may vary.

I ate this pizza almost every single day at lunchtime the entire 9 months of my pregnancy. I've worked right down the road for five years, so I have eaten at Vincent's for a long time. In general during my whole pregnancy, I could eat nothing but pizza. Chicken, vegetables, salads, all totally grossed me and made my stomach turn, I couldn't even look at those things. But I craved pizza. Nothing but pizza. Vincent's satisfied my cravings everyday. They're not the absolute best in the area, but I do frequent that establishment regularly for convenience. The pizza is really good and tasty! I cannot comment on anything else. The only things I've eaten at Vincent's is pizza and maybe a side salad sometimes - but they will satisfy your pizza craving.

I can't believe I'm the first person to review this place! To say that Vincent's is dear to my heart is an understatement, it's one of the first things I remember while growing up in Albertson and going to elementary school-middle school-high school. My best memories are when my mom would take me here or bring home pizza from work. For about 20 years it was the DEFINITION of what was so great about NY pizza. The pizza itself is all I ever had, and is a great combination of light smoky-burnt crust, with excellent sauce and well apportioned cheese on top. Although since I've left Long Island, I've definitely had better NYC style pizza, this is still excellent. They have a variety of other pasta/italian dishes, their garlic knots are excellent as well, and they are really good with the service/get people in and out quickly. My one complaint is that when you get a mushroom slice, they use canned mushrooms when I think everyone would agree they should use fresh cut mushrooms on pizza! Normally I might be giving this a 4, but I'll give it a 5 because I've had such a long delightful history with Vincents!

simply awesome. I ordered from grubhub.com twice and food was still hot and delicious! When you want real italian food that's restaurant quality and want it delivered, this is your place. It's not a pizzeria style fast food joint.

Vincent's Pizzeria is a classic neighborhood landmark. Those who grew up around here would never dispute this fact. As a matter of fact, while the strip mall where it is located went through its "resurfacing" and many of the original shops were phased out, Vincent's was one of the very few that remained. This is a strong testament to great pizza; in order to afford the rent around here, people, you must earn A LOT of money. Naturally, this reason, among many others I am sure, compensates for the raise in price over the years. However, Vincent's has never been unreasonable where price is concerned. They are aware that they have been a neighborhood fixture, and have never taken this mere status for granted. They have continued to grace us with outstanding, remarkably friendly service, always in a welcoming Italian accent. After twenty years, it is one of life's simple joys to walk in for an occasional slice and see the same faces that have been there since my childhood; these are the types of things that provide shops staying power, and turn restaurants from being mere eateries into being local instiutions. Regardless of how much time has passed, each time I enter Vincent's the quality of the food is excellent, and the addition of new selections are sumptuous. They have also kept their classics; if you think a pizzeria cannot make a great lasagna or veal parmesean hero, think again. Not to mention--they feed you for your buck--slices and entrees are well-sized. Long Island does not have a shortage of pizzerias, but if you ever happen to pass through this area, stop in for a slice; you will not be disappointed.

I recently moved from the area but lived near Vincent's for over ten years and one of the things I miss most is this restaurant. . I can't say more about the restaurant. Food is great and large portions. Staff and owners are fantastic and it feels like visiting an old friend when you enter. Pizza like from little Italy. Prices are good for the area. Give it a try.

credit where its due. Like many I judge a pizzeria on its regular slice. I just happened on this place and it has great regular slice. im sure rest of food is good. glad i found it.

Delivery took a ridiculously long time, buffalo wings were not even "buffalo" they were plain wings and just thrown into the big pizza box with garlic knots and pinwheels (see photo) Got a regular coke when I ordered diet, and they wouldn't let us purchase a small side of "vodka sauce" made us pay for an entire pint of sauce.

This is my husband's favorite pizzeria in his hometown. I've never been before this past trip and am sad I missed out for so long. What a delicious pizza recipe! I had a variety of slices and each was as good as the next with fresh toppings and cheese, a great sauce, and a perfectly cooked crust. The service is also extremely friendly (something you don't always get at your typical pizza joint). I will be craving this place until the next trip!

Absolutely Glorious pizza. The regular slice here is like something out of a pizza fairytale. Would also like to mention that while you may not expect a local pizzeria to be your GO-TO Philly Cheese Steak spot, but let me tell you the one they make here is BANGIN! Fries were great too. They also started making this incredible Sicilian crust pie with breadcrumbs and very light red onions that is almost unspeakably good. And unlike most modern day pizzerias they bake all their Sicilian crusts fresh everyday. (most places pre-bake the Sicilians they day or morning before). Classic old school pizzeria. Also just as an added bonus they are open every night till 11pm which is great for people getting out of work late to get something good for dinner or even a late night slice.

It is no wonder they have been around for decades. As I am a vegan, its great that they sell many kinds of cheese-less pizza by the slice, so I can enjoy what I want with friends and family without making them to eat veggie pizza too. The potato pizza is great, and whenever I order it, folks from nearby tables always ask me about it, as it looks and smells (rosemary on top) as good as it tastes. I spend a lot of time overseas, but I always look forward to to having a few slices when I am in town. It is really nice not to have be limited to a "regular" slice of pizza with the cheese left off, as they have several types of pizza that are intended to be vegetarian friendly. For my meat and cheese eating friends, they also seems please with what they order.

One of the better pizza joints in the area (great selection of slices) Take a seat in the back for the "restaurant section" and enjoy authentic Italian Food Very clean establishment with a friendly staff One of the best local joints in the area!!!

I know I've said this before, but I think this is maybe the best pizza I ever had! Long Island really has the best pizza. The sauce and the crust are perfect! The grandma is excellent, the regular is awesome, and the Sicilian is great. Love the murals of the interior, and great service. Not sure, but looks like a family business, these guys were all old Italians cooking. Great place!

Great Pizza. Best in the area. I pass 2 or 3 pizza places on my drive from work just to stop here.

I lived in East Hills for almost 30 years, and tried all of the surrounding restaurants for pizza and basic ..Italian... I now live in the city but when I get to Nassau, there are two places I stop for pizza...one starts with a U....which is very good...then of course Vincents... Ask them to make you a special slice in front of you...They will take a still warm plain slice and add fresh what ever you want with some added cheese and bake it nice and bubbly hot....I cannot eat a whole freshly made pizza by myself anymore, but if I could, it would be one here!...Delish!!
