Sayyyy....that was good! Since my long departure from the Tri-State region having pizza is a real treasure. Went in on a late Sunday night and grabbed whatever was left out on the counter. Corner Sicilian Corner upside down. Both fantastic and what made it even more special is the regular Sicilian was of real traditional Gino styled. Burnt on the bottom...Beautiful. The service was nice and chatted up the manager asking him which Gino's are you affiliated with. As I have stated previously in earlier yelps, all the Gino's are conjoined one way or another. Aunts,Uncles,In Laws,Cousins etc etc.... The Chicken roll was average....sauce sucked but the Cheese had some good flavor which is rare cause most mozzarella taste like nothing to me. I liked the layout a lot...maybe it was a little to bright but it was cool and I will defiantly return before I leave.

Good Things Come To Those Who Wait! One of the best spots for casual Italian fare on Long Island. For starters they offer a wide variety of pizza's, gluten free, whole wheat...each one I tried was better than the rest. Filet of Sole Pescatore....as good as a high end Manhattan restaurant! Unless you find yourself in Bensonhurst on 18th Avenue...Gino's rice balls are excellent. Have patience with a new business - but once they get it all down - this will and should be a regular stop for everyone!

The meatballs parmigiana with pasta is decent. The portions here is very generous. You don't walk away hungry. And the focaccia bread is delicious. Salads are good too. Lettuce is always fresh. The meatball sliders were good but the "garlic knot bread" for the sliders didn't taste like a garlic knot. Was a little disappointed. Servers are always always friendly. Definitely will be back.

Came here on a Thursday for an early dinner. 3 stars on the positive side for the service and pizza. No extra stars because the rest of the meal Was not good. We left hungry. The bread that comes to the table is delicious. I came here with my husband and 2 young kids. It's kid friendly and they had a slice each. My husband and I were craving seafood but didn't want to drive out to Port Jeff. We ordered a couple of seafood apps to make a light meal. The mussels in white wine was inedible. It had some really rancid pieces and the others were just not fresh tasting at all. The baked clams had very small whole pieces, which would be ok, but they were overcooked, too buttery and not tasty at all. The calamari was cooked nicely but flavorless. The server noticed we hardly touched our mussels and promptly took it away when I asked him too. He inquired about the rest of our barely touched apps and we told him it just isn't good. He was very apologetic and we told him it's not his fault at all. When we asked for the check, he had taken mussels off the check which was nice of him. We will only go back for pizza and won't bother moving up to even try the entrees based on the horrible apps. Also the dining experience was very loud, and not because of the customers.... It's the bus boys throwing dishes in bus trays every few minutes. I'd be surprised if plates aren't getting broken all The time. There didnt seem to be any managers around to stop the constant clanking.

Since Ginos has been open I have visited 4 times for takeout pizza. The one consistent thing about Ginos is that both food and service are totally inconsistent. Crust thickness and texture of the same types of pizza varies drastically from visit to visit. First visit resulted in great Margarita slices along with great chicken bacon ranch slices but service behind the counter was chaotic and the slices were placed on top of each other in a box. Salad slice was good as well. Second and third visits were average with both times regular slices being burnt black on the bottom after being reheated at the counter. Sicilian was standard but also black on the botton. Counter is chaos with staff seemingly not sure of what pizza needs to come out of the oven when. Latest visit resulted in a great salad slice but regular slices werent good. These slices were overcooked, dry, and crust was way to thick. Chicken bacon ranch slice was missing chicken except for a few small pieces. A sicilian slice ended up in the box having had about 1/3 of its cheese pulled off in the oven or by the counter staff putting it in the box. Had I looked at this order before I got home I wouldnt have accepted this order. I hope its just that it hasnt been open very long because its got potential but needs better quality control by the counter staff.

While I find their pizza much better than the highly overrated Martino's (which Gino's has replaced)- their pizza is still bland and mediocre at best. I have, however enjoyed their dinners save the Chicken Francese. I make better Chicken Francese. By far. Huge disappointment on the Francese here, not enough lemon maybe.

Managers are tool bags with no "people skills", regular slice was good though, but didn't wow me.

First time I've visited this restaurant in a long time (different ownership?). Coming back home from my nephew's baseball game - I stopped in to grab a couple of slices to go. I was pleasantly surprised by the Grandma's Pizza! Generous portions (not dry - as can often be the case when slices are out for awhile). Friendly counter service. Not overpriced. I give it a THUMBS UP......and I'll be back!

Great food but consistently poor service. Mass chaos behind the counter . Doesn't seem that there is an experienced person running this place. Such a shame because the food is terrific. You would think that after a couple months of being open they would have ironed out the kinks. Latest issue was today. The place was virtually empty. We sat down for lunch in the dining room area. Took us 40 minutes to get three slices of pizza for the kids. The kids were upset and very hungry. All our meals came out at different times. No good answers as to why this happened or when the food would come out. Answer was we were making a fresh pie or making a fresh chicken roll . Very disappointed the last 3-4 times. I keep hoping it changes but it if doesn't soon I'll be headed into smithtown for pizza and Italian.
