Ok so I love Chipotle... And I came to white plains ( new location) long line like usual because it's that good. The guys preparing my food was friendly. But I agree the cashiers what a B#%€H they are!! What a nasty attitude they have!!! I stated that my food was here to stay and the girl is putting my food in a bag! Hello?! The cashier told her it was to stay, she Rolls her eyes and slams MY food on the tray!! Are YOU SERIOUS?! You should've gotten slapped!! That's my food I paid for!! So your not paying attention and are annoyed because you have to take my food out of the bag and place it on a tray?! The set up in this location is annoying. Hardly no place to sit and everyone is staring at you on the line while your eating. And I went to get soda, there is NO ice. I told the girl that was sticking the napkins and she ignored me none the less knocked my bag of chips down. I will NEVER come to this location NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Management needs to read their reviews and corporate needs to re evaluate who they hire. I love chipotle and I rather go to the one in Rye Brook and or Palisades!!!

Terrible and slow slow SLOW service. It kills me to give it even ONE star! Call ahead service is awful. They don't know what to do when customers show up for to-go orders placed ahead of time. They act annoyed when customers get on line! If you have a question or request, don't bother because when you try to get their attention, the employees look down to avoid working. Waited 25 minutes for an order placed an hour in advance. I'll drive the extra 6 miles to Rye to avoid the terrible service in White Plains. The cashier can't handle a dinner rush, is rude and clearly could care less about quick service.

Let me begin by saying that I love Chipotle...except when I have to deal with the horrible service from the one in White Plains. When I went the soda machine was out of soda they did not have any utensils out and when I let the cashier know she gave me an attitude. I always get the sofritas option (tofu) and while I was eating I realized I was eating CHICKEN.. it was mixed in with my tofu! I went up to the cashier and told her my problem and her response was " Well I didn't make your food that's not my problem" ..Excuse me? When I asked to speak to her manager sorry to say but he was an idiot, his response was " well you see...that's going to happen because the chicken is set out next to the tofu" GREAT just the response anyone that doesn't eat chicken wants to hear from a place that offers a tofu option for a reason. While this was going on the cashier kept rolling her eyes and making faces at me. HOW RUDE. When I tried to call corporate all they did was send me to the website when I wrote my complaint on the website it wouldn't let me post because it wouldn't give me the option of entering my location..and without that it wouldn't let you submit your post. Needless to say the staff there are rude, slow, and are not customer service friendly at all. It was also impossible to get any names since no one wore name tags, but of course how could I forget the rude cashier with her short bright blue hair she needs to be fired immediately.

The worst chipotle restaurant i have ever been to. The line is always out the door, theres not enough seating, and the people sitting are so inconsiderate and dont leave when they r done. Will def not visit again
(1)Akshu J.
Being a vegetarian chipotle is one of the few options for me easily available 7 days a week. Good amount of rice and beans with options to add cheese and lettuce. Giving 1 less star because of less spacious place.

Can I give ZERO Stars or better yet NEGATIVE stars? Went here for a very late lunch. Kids were out of school so the place was filled with young people it was loud rowdy and mobbed. The line was Very very very unreasonably long. I waited the bulk of my allotted lunch time and then when it was my turn to order...:10 sec. I am fast. and I keep it simple I was ready to pay. The kid be hind the register could not find my food...it was GONE! The kid behind the register tried to give me the food of the lady behind me, "She said Hey! thats mine." I asked him where is my order? he just stood looking at me. I said. "I think you gave it to the guy that left before me." He shook his head NO at me and started to ring the lady up behind me in line. You can imagine my surprise when the folks that "Work" at the place acted like they did nothing wrong and I wasn't there. What kind of operation are these people runnin there? Why do the adults have to be the ones pointing out how flawed this whole mess is? It is frustrating that they are near my office I wish they were not. If they complete failure of management that I witnessed continues there will be changes one way or the other. This place is a 100% FAIL. You have been warned, venture in at your own peril

It's been a few months, and I had hoped they would actually hire enough staff to fix this trainwreck. A 35 minute line at 4:00PM, way after the lunchtime rush is still unacceptable. Still focusing entirely too much on the catering business to actually deal with the customers they have. If I could leave 0 stars I would.
(1)Michael M.
The food is still a favorite, but more training needs to be done with the employees at this particular location to improve the service.
(3)Telling It L.
They stink. Small portions, especially if meat and guacamole. Long lines. Dirty tables. Yuck!!
(2)Sachin S.
I love Chipotle. This review is for a poor customer service at this location. I had buy one get one free coupon (up to $10.00). Just because I requested guacamole to be packed separately instead of inside my bowl, they charged me for both guacamole. They said if the guacamole was inside the bowl they would have only charged me for one. That was lame. They had no reason to double charge and they even acknowledged my point of getting one free. But they said next time they will be careful but refused to take off the price of one guac from the bill.

Online orders filled incorrectly. Incredibly slow. Bad service. Drive to rye ridge.
(1)S S.
Ordered catering for 27 people and was really impressed with how well it was handled. For $13/person the spread was even more then expected. All supplies needed were included. A lot of thought went into the packaging and overall presentation of the food. They do not offer delivery, however I didn't find that to be a deal breaker. The parking situation is a bit challenging, when I was loading up the car a relentless meter maid threatened issuing a ticket, which required the person with me to go around the block. I was very appreciative that Dave (area manager) helped bring the food and stuff to the car. I will absolutely cater again from Chipotle in the future.
(4)Cara F.
This location is a mess. Ill trained staff and the lay out is too tight for the traffic from the malls. My food was such a mess yet it took twice as long to make. On my visit whomever ordered online order wasn't even started and they stopped the line to argue over it.
(2)Laurie K.
On Oct 20 2014 I ate here the food was atrocious! The chicken was rubbery and had a lot of fat pieces on them. The salsa was bland had NO salt at all and I have ate at sooooo many Chipotles in NYC and Ive never had anything like this! They pour sooo much sour cream on the tacos that thats all you taste first before getting to everything else. You come in and see MARGARITA MARGARITA in huge writing and you get to the cashier who's sipping her soda and she says "we don't have that yet." So why wasn't there a sign outside?! I will never be coming here again, I will take the metro north to the city to have the "REAL CHIPOTLE" from now on.

As much as I enjoy Chipotle, especially the service I get from the one not too far from Times Square, this location is by all means NOT on top of its game! You'd think that being newly opened you would want to show the customers top line quality....not just barely passable. I had 2 burritos, with the missus, and holy hell was I annoyed. The line was much like centipede the game...no sign of getting shorter due to some of the workers not knowing how fold and/or being trained on the spot for how much to proportion out properly. I thought a soft opening would've covered this? Some folks got out of the line because of this. Bad to the point of looking like a new age Exodus. Finally got my order...remember that folding/proportion thing I mentioned before? When I commenced into my burrito I sloshed into a creamy land of sour cream, than a vast forest of lettuce, etc. EVERYTHING WAS MADE VERTICALLY BY SECTION! What am I a frikkin pelican that I have to eat the damn thing upward!? This is me ending my little rant saying: Never Again. PS: I will spread the word on this for sure to save others from spending their hard earned cash here.
(1)Allison W.
The other reviews are right, this location sucks. First of all, they should have spent more time training the staff. I shouldn't hear about a senior employee explaining how to portion out ingredients. Second, the burrito bowls appear more cost-effective (for the customer anyway). If you're going to put extra into the burrito bowls, then do the same for all your products. Third, teach your employees how to wrap correctly! They should be using a utensil to make sure that all the ingredients are situated so that the burrito can folded properly. My veggie burrito is already leaking and I haven't even eaten it yet. I also watched the woman as she was folding it: a little bit of product fell out and the tortilla was tearing. For what you guys charge, your service should be better.

For the most part I do enjoy chipotle...... However, this has to be the worst location I've ever been to. I have never seen a restaurant so filthy. The floors looked like they haven't been cleaned since the opening and the kitchen was even worse. The food prep area was covered in every topping choice, so while my meal was getting made it was dragged through the mess. Overall not an enjoyable experience. Hopefully the area manager will straighten this place out
(1)S D.
Online ordering was fine. Not the cleanest establishment, I really wish they had an extra set of hands to try to maintain the small dining area.
(2)Nancy S.
So who doesn't like the simplicity of Chipolté. They have the all the ingredients of everything needed for burritos, tacos, and taco bowls. They are always crowded and they young set is obsessed. They don't beat my tacos but they due have that cilantro rice and burrata steak though. In my opinion you can't go wrong with anything there. The only complaint I have is that the tortilla on the burrito to go gets soggy. A pet peeve of mine. Now at least I live 5 minutes away and 2 minutes from work.
(5)Laura V.
RUDE . Nasty people who don't care never going back there .. Chipotle need to replace everyone .
(1)Victoria J.
There food is so fresh and hot and much better than any chipotle in westchester ! I have the chipotle app on my phone so I always cut the line so it doesn't matter about the long line ;) no parking though which sucks ! But still best chipotle around
(3)Jennifer A.
Don't let the very long line fool you. The line moves very quickly. Chipotle is like a Mexican Subway, for those that have never been there. You choose between tacos, burritos, salad, or Burrito bowl. After making your choice, you tell them what meat you want and continue on with the rice and various toppings, to which there are many to choose from. You were given a cup and get your own soda therefore there are free refills, they have fresh lemon slices available near the soda dispenser. Several people are involved in the process of creating your meal. They are all friendly and generous with their portions and move very quickly. Be careful and make your request for less or toward the side before saying what you want or its too late. The seating is not comfortable even for a fast food restaurant. I had a steak burrito bowl on Tuesday. The steak was tasty and cooked just right, however there was also an off putting chewiness about it. The rice had cilantro and lime and was quite good. I was asked if I wanted tomato and said yes. To my displeasure it contained quite a bit of chopped raw red onion. I do not like raw onion. As I said before they move quite quickly and by the time I saw the onions it was too late to stop him from adding it because he had already done so. The cheese is finely shredded and had a nice creaminess. The corn was sweet and added wonderful texture. All in all it was delicious. It was cold, not warm so I didn't care for the temperature. It was served in a cardboard bowl with a raised foil cover. To reuse the cover to take home the leftovers was time consuming but eventually fit. Later, I had a bit more and went to re-cover again but gave up and just used foil from home. My son had a burrito and by the third bite it was a sloppy disgusting mess. The burrito was so soggy it ripped and he was unable to put it back together. He had to use a utensil to finish his meal. Still he enjoyed it, but a burrito should remain a hand held meal.

I love Chipotle. But this place needs new staff asap. Employees are rude, careless, and unorganized. In addition they're just plain sloppy and slow at getting people their food. Probably the worst Chipotle in America.
(1)Sarah C.
I love you chipotle!!!! It's hard starting out. Yes, your chips were soggy that one time. Yes, the length of the line is hit or miss. Yes, you didn't have burrito wraps that one time. Yes, you didn't open on that warm Saturday morning as planned. Yes, it's very hard to hear the staff when placing orders. But for the love of god I will continue to visit you each week for that delicious burrito!!!!
(4)Joe S.
Worst Chipotle location ever. The employees are unbelievably slow. Is there even a manager on location? Chipotle needs to step in and fix this place immediately.
(1)Yuki B.
This comment goes to the manager of Chipotle: You have created a Chipotle without organization. I'm very disappointed in whatever this "thing" is, I wish I knew who you were yesterday night because I would have called you out in front of all your workers so you get your head straight. 1. Having a "web-service" for a Chipotle is a recipe for chaos. This program going on has disabled the fast-economy that chipotle is known for. We were in the line last night for 45 minutes because every time it stopped it was because your employees were prioritizing web-orders. THIS IS FUCKING BULLSHIT. This DOES NOT work. I don't blame any of the workers for this, it is not their fault but whoever came up with this system. 2. You are never going to make money if you don't teach your employees how to portion out the bowls and burritos. The bowls are filled with around three servings of rice instead of the usual serving of one scoop. The cheese is over the top, literally. How do you expect to make an income if you're practically getting less for whatever you sell? 3. Garbage... Everywhere. Gloves in the kitchen floor, on top of the rice bags in your kitchen. What the fuck? The garbage where your employees throw broken burritos was FILLED. And why? Let me guess. Because most of your staff is paying attention to your damn web-orders. You people need to keep the sitting area clean as well. It was disgusting. Even NYC locations take more pride in cleaning their tables and their garbage cans. 4. People in the register... What the hell. Seriously, be quick, smile and just get people on their way to eat. And also, keep up the pace, your line lasts 45 minutes. 5. CUSTOMERS: It doesn't take 10 minutes to tell the person doing your order to add rice to a bowl. The menu is SIMPLE. it goes like this: CARBS, MEATS, SEASONING, and guac. That's it. And also, your server is in front of you, if you need more lettuce, just say it, don't wait until he's done so you let him know you want to add something! I sent you all my blessings. From: A customer that loves this company and hates

We've been a couple of times. The line is always incredibly slow. We chalked it up to being new but tonight we went in and they are out of RICE and VEGGIES. What the heck? Terrible chipolte.
(1)Mason W.
Worst Chipotle I've ever visited. I love Chipotle, but the line at this one moves literally 5 times slower than one in NYC near my work. 25 minutes in line at this one versus five minutes for the same-sized line in NYC.
(1)Tedgrrr P.
This location is absolutely pathetic. I could have left them an AWFUL review in November, but they were new so I didn't. I could have left them an even WORSE review in February but I did. But now we're in May, and I won't remain silent any longer. This location is absolutely pathetic. The lineup does not move whatsoever and they constantly run out of ingredients which slows things down even worse. Today they did not have White rice, by the time the white rice came they were out of one type of beans, then when those came they were out of fajita mix... what the heck?!?! One big issue too, is the web orders cause the massive run down. Whoever designed this location should be FIRED. In Yonkers they have a separate work area for employees to make web orders. Here they do not and customers have to suffer through painfully slow service as a result. The food is not as good as other Chipotle's either.
