Among the steaks, you must stay away from the Applebee's Riblets platter as well as Bourbon Street Steak at all costs. Shrimp 'N Parmesan Sirloin is also not recommended. Avoid at any cost! Staff here is so rude that they can ruin your morning easily. Lady at the counter was yelling at other staff who was cleaning coffee machines because in her words "this dunkin' donuts does not need any cleaning".

This probably has to be one of the worst Dunkin Donuts I've been to. The only reason I come here from time to time is because it is close to where I work. The staff here is down right rude and one speed, one speed being slow. Last time I checked Dunkin donuts is a fast food restaurant. Every time I have gone here it takes 15 to 20minutes to get my order and all the times I have been here it is NOT busy. The coffee and bagel sandwiches are on par with all the other DD in the capital district. They need to work on their customer service skills and speed here and then this DD will be acceptable to go to.

When I stopped in here the other day for a quick snack for 6 people in my family, I thought I was walking into your traditional Dunkin Donuts. But I ended up not getting what I paid for. We gave them very specific orders and it wasn't at all busy, and every part of the order was completely messed up. Whether it was two bagels(one was toasted and the other not THAT BOTH BECAME MIRACULOUSLY TOASTED) or the whole rest of the order, it really wasn't what I paid for. And when I overheard the person who came in after me saying they spotted them toasting something she didn't want toasted, I knew they did this on purpose! But their only purpose is to drive-away customers! Although I'm concerned that this visit might drive-me away in other times, I think I'll have to give them one more chance to get things right. How about a month (when the next appointment is at the doctor's office nearby)-does that seem like long enough to make things right?

It's bad. But not so horrendously terrible that I'd give them one star. They haven't really offended me, and it's nothing I didn't expect, so what can I say? But, being from the West Coast, where literally all the Dunkin Donuts have been shut down because the foodies and healthy hippies refused to go there, I suppose I shame myself by not knowing the difference between a Coolatta and a Frozen Cappuccino. After my first trip, though, I will never forget. If it says "Vanilla Bean," that doesn't mean that it's a vanilla-flavored knockoff coffee Frapuccino. It means, rather, that you end up with a sickly sweet "vanilla" flavored (i.e., sugar flavored) slushie. The coffee Coolatta is like the blended coffees you get at the gas-station stores. Except, it seems, outside of Oregon, no gas-station stores sell blended coffee in the machines. Just a note. The Frozen Cappuccino is significantly better than the Coolatta, but still pretty damn sweet. Also, if you compare the drink prices to Starbucks, it's ridiculously cheap. Yes, it's about $4.50 for a large, but a large is 32+ ounces. Who drinks that much??!! The smallest you can get is 16 ounces, and a blended drink of this size will leave you a little less than $3 light. Cheap. Not great, though. Dutch Bros. is significantly better. Also, the one time I had the donuts, I wasn't impressed. But then someone told me I had to get Munchkins. Next time I'm itching for terrible and sugary coffee, I'll try that. WHY. WHY IS THIS COFFEE SO GROSS?!

Everyone else on here has pretty much said what I feel as well, staff is rude and slow, even when there is nobody in line. A 3 minute ordeal tends to take 15 plus sometimes. I have actually driven away from their drive through before because of how slow and rude the staff was with like, 3 people in line and nobody in the store. I have had my coffee made wrong, 3, YES 3 times in a row at this place. Went back in each and every time, and every time I did they made it wrong again. The last and final time I had my boyfriend go in and simply ask for my money back because I would have thrown it at the staff. This particular instance there was illegitimately nobody in the store or the drive through, but what appalled me was that the staff had their friends (definitely NOT employees and definitely Albany's finest if you know what I mean) hanging around, in the back, saw one of the staff KISSING one of these people, all while they made my coffee wrong 3 times. ARE YOU KIDDING? So I complained because clearly any manager would want to know this right? WRONG. 3 weeks and no word. Finally I went right to DD headquarters and explained the entire issue, of course the next day I get an email back from the store manager who had previously ignored me. At this point, it was not worth my time anymore because it was clearly not worth his. What I think the problem is: Since they are right next to SUNY, they get enough business from the college kids or people on the way to and from work since it's right off the highway. I could never image this place when it is busy, it must be even more of a nightmare. They don't care about customer service because they are making enough money off of SUNY. Terrible, terrible way to run your business.

On Saturday morning I decided that it would be a nice change of pace for my son and me to get some doughnuts. We are normally Uncommon Grounds bagel people, but today we had a sweet tooth. We pulled into the drive through waited with the window down since it was a nice day. As I waited I could hear the woman on the intercom clearly obnoxiously badgering the customer ahead of me when he did not know the nuances of what the doughnut names. She snapped the names of the chocolate doughnuts at him when he ordered a chocolate doughnut. Additionally I could clearly hear giggling over the intercom. DD is to be commended the intercoms are very loud and quite clear. At any rate after few time of making the poor man repeat himself and much more giggling from the staff his order was complete. I was my turn to be badgered by DD's staff. When I pulled up I proceeded to order and mistakenly called a number one meal a number two meal. Well that was the queue for the staff to pounce "YOU MEAN A NUMBER ONE NOT A NUMBER TWO" snapped back the voice on the other end of the intercom. "OK it a number one. I still want a Boston cream and a French cruller. "WE DON'T SELL CRULLERS" she shot back being more obnoxious, and all the while I could hear giggling over the intercom. "Fine two Boston cream doughnuts with a large coffee extra cream no sugar". "YOU MEAN LIGHT" the sadistic voice shot back. "Sure whatever you need to call it so long as you get the order correct. My son would like a chocolate doughnut too." "WE ONLY SELL DOUBLE CHOCOLATE AND GLAZED" the power drunk intercom operator yelled back. By this point if it hadn't been for my son I would have just left, but he had his heart set on a doughnut. "DOUBLE CHOCOLET" I snapped back using my voice push I learned in martial arts and completive fighting and pulled up. When I arrived the staff was laughing hysterically and because while I am a very educated man and I capable of discussing physics, art, art history, mathematics, literature, and computer science. I am not versed on the vast and nuanced world of Dunkin Doughnuts. I have never really found it a topic that came up at any of the MENSA functions I have attended. As I sat at the window the intercom operator screamed "DOUBLE CHOCOLATE" at me. I looked at the women taking the money and calmly said "Your realize that the will get to corporate, and there will be an incident report". She looked at me with horror as her team mates were laughing in the background. I received my doughnuts they were crushed and my coffee was watered down. True to my word I am also sharing this on the Internet so the franchise owner can read all about in a public forum that his potential customers use, not just the incident report at corporate.

I'm usually a Starbucks man but there's not much on this side of campus. I was alarmed by the very long line that formed at the drive thru and impressed by the speed they took care of everyone. My order was correct and everything was up to Dunkin' standard.

This was the worst Dunkin donuts I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. The staff is incredibly rude and apparently has not had the adequate training they need, because half of the time they don't know how to or incorrectly make drinks. 5 out of the 6 times I have been here a drink has been made wrong, and half of the time they take your order then never make the drink. After standing there for 5 minutes you have to ask them for what you ordered, and when you do they give you an attitude. Something as simple as buying a coffee that should take 4 minutes ends up taking triple that. Not to mention the one morning I went where the staff was shouting obscenities at each other and the manager did nothing about it. If this location was anywhere else besides across the street from a university this behavior would not be tolerated. I don't plan on returning anytime soon.

I could be the spokesperson for DD. When I visit, I'm at one at least twice a day. I was at the extended stay out here and appreciated the cleanliness of this particular one. I have always loved this coffee. To me it's the perfect balance between weak(i.e. IHOP) and the rich strong modern coffees. I am now in the Twin Cities and they are the ultimate coffee snobs(and proud of it), and I am the butt of jokes for my taste in coffee. If I had it my way nothing would have changed or been added since the introduction of the munchkin. 95 degrees, bring it on. I pretty much stick with the creme filled donut. The worst part for you already cringing is I take it light and sweet(4 sugars). Unfortunately, it doesn't translate well at home, actually it's pretty bad. There's a rumor that DD will come back to the Twin Cities(usually the burbs). That's when it's gonna get nasty.

This is the go to place for U Albany students without a car looking for a caffeine fix. This is unfortunate because this Dunking Donuts has no redeeming values. Lets make a few things clear, their are some things that I hate about all Dunkin Donuts if you disagree with these things go ahead and add a star. First their coffee is awful, second they prepare the coffee for you unless you ask them not to. When it comes to their coffee and their insistence on making it for you I just have one question, did I order a cup of cream or a cup of coffee? Now problems with this DD specifically; the employees are awful and 9 out of 10 times get your order wrong, and second the donuts are always stale. So bum a ride off your friend and go somewhere else for coffee!

About Applebee's
Applebee is an American full-service restaurant brand popularly known for its signature Riblets. Applebee was conceptualized in 1980 by Bill and TJ Palmer in Atlanta, Georgia. At first, the restaurant was named T.J. Applebee's RX for Edibles and Elixirs. After the concept was acquired by W.R. Grace and Company, the restaurant was renamed as Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.
Later in 2007, IHOP Corp. now known as DineEquity, Inc. acquired Applebee's and began their journey together to make Applebee's the world's largest full-service restaurant chain. Today, Applebee's serves at more than 1,830 locations worldwide. The Applebee's menu ranges from Appetizers and Salads to heavy meals consisting of ribs and steak. Although the trademark dish Riblets is a hot favorite among regular Applebee's dwellers, the restaurant also serves some amazing burgers, sandwiches, pasta, and salads.
Healthy Food Options at Applebee's
When a restaurant serves ribs as their main dish, then you can assume the diet-friendliness of their menu. Well, Applebee's is no different. However, you can dig deeper into their menu and pick some good healthy food options for sure. You can try the salads, light sandwiches, appetizers to ensure you don't order heavy items, etc. If you are really diet conscious, then you got to be careful with their steaks & ribs as well as desserts section.
