In my quest to find crispy thin crust pizza like I used to enjoy back in my hometown of Bergen County, NJ, I've been sorely disappointed time and time again. But then one day I stumbled across a little pizzeria in a shopping center in Highland... I LOVE YOUR PIZZA!!! Finally! A crispy thin crust pizza just like I've been searching for all these years. I had almost given up all hope for the Hudson Valley, but these guys have saved the day! My only minor complaint was that the garlic knots were really doughy and tough to chew. Not sure if they had been sitting out for awhile or what, but I prefer a lighter, fluffier garlic knot. But the pizza's perfect!

Let me tell you somethin' I told my son A.J. one time I don't care how close you are, in the end your friends are gonna let you down. Family: they're the only ones you can depend on. Well this place...this pizza parlor treats you like family. I mean I gotta be honest, I've never seen a place this busy in my life...nowhere not Nutley, not hoboken, Newark not even on the other side when I visited the family on the boot. Needless to say I gave 'em 5 stars because of the quality of the food. Listen if you're looking for Artie Bucco style made from scratch paisan recipes from the old school, these guys won't do you wrong. What do I recommend...i recommend you go there for yourself and try a couple slices...they always have a 3 or 4 out that I put down before my espresso. Anyhow you get the picture...bring ya mudder, ya kids, yous can't go wrong here.

We have been coming to the now 3 different locations of this business for many years now. Always treated well, and the food is very yummy. Always a big selection of pizza slices and rolls in the glass on the counter to choose from. Tonight she had the buffalo chicken sub, and I has the cheese steak. My girlfriend said she loved the sandwich, and that they have the best buffalo sauce anywhere. I enjoyed the cheesesteak sandwich as well, made to order, bread was nice and fresh, and only waited a few minutes. If you are around one of their locations, definitely stop in an enjoy a yummy meal!

One of the best pizzerias in the area! I was very impressed by the food, and I will be visiting again.

I love this place! I always order the margarita pizza and its indescribably delicious. I'm sorry but I'm tired of Marlos and Pizza Town. Their pizzas are boring. Pizza town only has about three choices of toppings. Anyway you really should try this place! thinking about their pizza right now is making my stomach growl and my mouth water.

Felt compelled to review after seeing some surprising ones on here. I always let yelp and other sites guide my choices and it would be a shame if you missed out here. Pizza Mia is in the hannaford (bridge view ) plaza and is the sister store to Rino's in New Paltz. The thing that's makes them different is their sauce- it's incredible. None of that sugary, pasty garbage. You get real tomato pieces and garlic and fresh basil and olive oil. It's incredible. Their grandma slices are my favorite pizza ever- crispy bottom crust... So good. I understand that people have different preferences when it comes to pizza but you cannot go wrong here. Their fresh ingredients and crispy crusts speak for themselves. You don't go to a pizza joint expecting 5 star service... So in my opinion, it's not exactly fair to knock off points because the counter girl may have given you attitude.

I ordered from them today because there wasn't really anything else open and wanted to try something new. I got three sandwiches, a calzone, and an order of garlic knots. The meatball sandwiches had this very strange under-taste to it that repulsed me. The calzones were greasy and the ricotta was overwhelming. I guess the garlic knots were okay but they're weren't very flavorful. My boyfriend liked the chicken parm sandwich though, so I'm glad he actually enjoyed his meal.

I just ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich and was thoroughly disappointed. The sauce was decent but two one inch strips of chicken on the whole sandwich seems really lame: especially when you are charging more than your sister store. The garden salad wasn't much better. Old rotten spinach and no effort on even cutting tomatoes etc. Really disappointing. Funny part is I used to recommend this place first out of any of the others in Highland. Never again.

Pizza Mia's always been kind of special to me - their sauce is killer, and they've usually got a selection of interesting slices ready for eating in. Their pizzas are best eaten on premises - delivery times often reach towards an hour from your order, and in that time they can get a little soft, but they're amazing right out of the oven. Regardless, they're still my go-to place when I want delivery - nothing else around here really compares, in my eyes. I don't recommend getting fried foods delivered, though - they use those metal and plastic containers for everything, and so french fries will very often arrive soft from the steam. It would be wiser if they used styrofoam containers for those kind of foods.

I love this place! No matter what time of day, they seem to always be putting out fresh slices to choose from. Their regular cheese pizza is modestly priced for how good it is-I attribute it to their amazing homemade sauce! I recently ventured away from the cheese to try a "grandma slice", I think it was called. Crust was perfect and the marinara sauce oozing through the mozzarella was heavenly. Also brought the family in and the kids LOVED it. Counter staff was accomodating to slicing up the pie for the little ones and they had a blast in the play area. Definitely keeping Pizza Mia as my go-to pizza shop!

Not the greatest tasting pizza, I thought the young guy at the counter was very rude the last time I was there.

Too bad that I'm leaving a poor review all due to the young female employee's bad attitude over the phone this afternoon. I honestly feel that the food is pretty darn tasty. But it seems to me that when customers are treated poorly by food service (as well as other types of industries) employees, they tend to immediately leave a less-than-favorable review, and - unfortunately - are less likely to leave reviews when they receive great service (because good service is expected- and poor treatment is frustrating and upsetting, causing customers to vent publicly). I placed a phone order today for delivery and the young lady on the phone this afternoon was rude and quite miserable. God forbid that I dare ask her for a delivery total. She then mumbled in an irritated voice "hold on.....". dropped the phone on the counter, and after she got back on the line and told me the total price, she hung up on me!!!! I'm going to only deal with Piccolo Fiore from now on.... Joe does hire young teens to assist him with his business, but at least he makes sure they know HOW to treat his customers- with respect and appreciation!! On that note, I need to leave them a positive review of PRAISE right about now!!

Expected pricing, good food and quick delivery. Everything you'd expect from a pizza spot.
